i think kim is just as complex of a character as harry, but i think a good amount of players (not all, but a chunk) choose to unflinchingly characterize him as “the Good Cop” and leave it at that.

Do you think Tubbo would recognize the path Bad is going down, because it's one he's already walked down on?
This self-destructive behavior coming from a broken heart?
He hasn't seen Bad at his best, before the eggs got kidnapped. He's seen him a victim to grief more than a father. It's why the blue staining Bad's being isn't out of the ordinary.
But suddenly he starts carrying flowers to remind him of the love he lost, suddenly the void calls out his name even louder and suddenly Tubbo sees himself in the older demon.
And it's scary, because suddenly he sees what he has become, how it affects others.
And for the first time of many, he sees Bad walk down a road he's paved. For the first time of many, Bad is the one repeating Tubbo's mistakes.

sirius' animagus being a hellhound to him. like he's named his father's dog (sirius being the dog of orion) and to sirius, his father is like the devil. making him his hellhound. he sees his animagus and thinks that. about how he's bound to the black name and condemned to follow his father like a dog, hurting others at his father's orders.
and then james sees and and his eyes widen as he whispers 'padfoot', the name of a ghostly black dog in english folklore. and sirius realises james saw him and thought he was an omen of death and feels even worse about his animagus form.
so they sneak into the library and peter finds a book on english folklore that describes 'padfoot' as a ghost dog that only attacks travellers who antagonise him, and that the dog has a chain tied around its neck that clanks as the dog walks but is cut, not tied to anything, like the dog has freed himself from an owner.
sirius rips the page out and immediately declares himself 'padfoot'.

Why do you like Jason Todd so much? (I like him too! Just wondering your reasons)
My favorite fictional character of all time is Sophocles' Electra. Being a Jason Todd girlie is simply in my blood.

S5 E12 (911 first watch through)
I can't get the idea of a Ghost Whisper/911 crossover where Melinda Gordon is in Boston (idk, finding antiques) at the same time Maddie is there for therapy. A young ghost follows Melinda but isn't doing anything but watching over her. She asks him if he needs help, and he's even more confused because his sister has never seen him before! Eventually he gets that she's not his sister, and as nice as it sounds, Daniel doesn't want to crossover yet. He's got a job to do (looking after his siblings) but he does need some help finding Maddie. Maddie and Melinda ignore the fact that they look exactly alike but talk about their paramedic and firefighter boyfriends. Daniel doesn't want Maddie to worry more, so Melinda doesn't tell her he's there, but she does give Maddie her card in case she's in Grandview or needs some antiques.

No thoughts… only edizzy la cage aux folles au
#their relationship in the movie version is just like edizzy fr to me#the codependency… the volitility at times but beneath that just them knowing eachother better than anyone else and still being in love#and it fits so well in my head too because most aus are about them owning a club anyway lmao#plot twist stede is the straight dad and like in the movie version he lowkey crushes on ed (who would be albert / albin) except its#(well… more like ‘straight’ dad)#actually for real and ed revealing he’s not a woman is his gay awakening lmfao#only thing I’m stuck on is the way that the plot requires the other parents to be homophobic but obviously stede & mary wouldn’t be#me talking#our flag means death#edizzy#izzy hands#ed teach#izzy ofmd#blackhands#it would be interesting to have izzy in the role of albin/albert too but I think he fits george/armand way more#also the jewish last name thing from the movie would be cool to incorporate since that’s a semi common hc already#ALSO !! IT HAS THE SAME THEMES / JOURNEY WITH THE MAIN CHARACTERS IMO#like ik obviously shamelessly being yourself is just a thing in almost every piece of queer media but yeah. it fits their issues well too#it would be interesting to explore izzy pushing ed to fit a certain role in this context and both of their issues with not being vulnerable-#/themselves fully and not feeling worthy of love#lmao rip to their kid tho. hope he can gain some good coping skills from stede and mary’s kid… ah wait they aren’t great at coping either#also izzy owning a gay/drag club is so val of him so I love it for that

it was a small passing comment in the story but when its mentioned Sheila saw her dog get beaten to death when she was a kid and it made her feel like humankind was just like that (+ her sister's murder afterwards cementing that worldview)... augh.

I know webtoon can't be a 100% faithful adaptation of the novel, but damn,we were robbed some really amazing lines and plotlines.
Chap 116,the scene where they're in poison palace,in novel its longer, and also-
Ma Taepyeong is actually admitting that he's a bad father and said his son must hate him. Like damn,he said that to Eul Dongfang. AND CHEONSO HEARD IT
Cheonso inner monologue(mind you,I read a very butched mtl ) is like " There's time where I'm angry,There's time where I tried raising orchid to understand his feelings, but it all just in past.
Much time has passed, and I don't want to whining about what happened in those days."
Damn Jeong Madu-nim,why don't you include this monologue??? This gave us a perspective of how both Cheonso and his father think of each other, and the fact that Cheonso actually choose to forget all his anger toward his father.
Damn, this is such a good part, why did you cut it????

Good thing Levi and Gortash become immortals and live for a long ass time, bc with the way these two behave, I have a feeling it would take them at least a century to actually mature enough to have a normal in-depth conversation.

One of my toxic traits as a superhero fan is when adaptations make the villain connected to the hero’s origin I sometimes like it and sometimes don’t and either way I usually have no specific reasoning for my opinion other than Vibes.
#in most cases i actually do like it#the spider that bit peter parker being altered by oscorp a la ultimate comics? cool.#brainiac playing a role in krypton's destruction a la dcau and injustice? cool.#mandarin being directly or indirectly responsible for iron man's origin a la the 90s cartoon and mcu? cool.#magneto being responsible for professor x getting paralyzed a la first class? actually better than how it happened in the comics#doctor doom being involved in the fantastic four's origin? eeeh depends#i don't like the ultimate version or either of the movie versions where he also gets powers in the same incident#and also his skin is actually metal instead of wearing armor#that shit's lame#but i DO like the world's greatest heroes cartoon where he sabotages their mission by lowering their shields#and THAT'S what leads to them getting powers and also causes the explosion that scars him#way i see it if he HAS to be part of their origin the way that show did it was best#the only major example or the villain creating the hero where i NEVER like it is when joker is responsible for the wayne deaths#be it directly like in the tim burton movie or indirectly like that joker movie that didn't need to exist#like joker being responsible for batman's parents dying is just way too coincidental#some of those other examples are also kinda coincidental but they at least feel like natural connections to make#whereas joker creating batman is just forced#oh and sandman killing uncle ben in the raimi movies and black cat's dad killing him in spectacular for the same reason#the murders of the waynes and uncle ben both just work better when the killer is just some random crook whose identity isn't important#but yeah the rest of those examples are all perfectly fine with me lmao#shut up tristan

actually now that i think ab it johnny wouldn’t get pissy over vic’s driving. he strikes me as a joyride kinda guy. i’m like 100% sure he grew up around a bunch of car rednecks with these crazy ass hotrods in the 90s, then hotrod culture died down, then he got to NC and lo and behold it’s fuckin flourishing

(Chainsaw Man Spoilers)
AU where Aki survives Part 1 and now not only has to deal with the existential horrors of his new state of being but is also incredibly allergic to dogs, so he lives in the apartment next door to Denji, Nayuta, and their dozen-or-so huskies. (He’s not as allergic to cats, but Meowy likes Denji more than him.)
