Honestly it was all just an excuse to turn him down and have Scriabin call Edgar his “landlord” haha; I was feeling nostalgic and went back to reread some old YuGiOh fics and had been so long away that I forgot that was a term used in the fandom to refer to the bodies of people the various Yamis would take over hehe ♪ It felt very fitting!

Handplates re/reading doodles!! Hghgh!!! The theses of these stories of codependent relationships cut me to my very core I’ll have you know 💕 I managed to avoid falling down the rabbit hole of Handplates!Vargas but I was this close, lemme tell you. The subtle shift in phrasing changes so much ;; I love them dearly

A kind-of leftover WOY style Scriabin, since I made his hair all pointy in my first doodles - the WOY style is quite soft and round! He looks very silly hehe

Another song that is, yes, unironically in my Vargas playlist. This is a Nny song to me and you can pry it from my cold dead correct hands. That beautiful facial hair ♪

More Handplates/Vargas, this time obviously inspired by my holiday request 💕💖💞 I honestly rather like how calm Gaster seems whenever he’s in Edgar’s vicinity, he is a fairly unassuming human haha. Is it because he doesn’t laugh very often? Oh no that’s sad actually haha

I’m not done with Blank Slate Ch. 4 just yet - hopefully soon! - but this lineup stands out to me especially since I made it while rereading Handplates. Specifically after Gaster is pulled out of the Void - Gaster having to face the people he loves who have no memory of him really spoke to me in a Blank Slate way - the scenario of being able to completely start over and have never done anything to hurt your loved ones, at the expense of never having done anything to them, as far as they’re concerned, ah! It hurts so beautifully!! That’s one of the central themes I’m chasing so it was so cool to see in that context! Very inspiring ♥

So remember how in my Sims post, one Vargas family ended up with two Todds? Well what if that but actually

I also happened to catch this screenshot of the Todds gossiping about their shadow-dad, though I’m not sure who had seen him :0 By now I have found an adoption memory-loss prevention mod - thank goodness :D - but it wasn’t installed at the time! :0 Blue Todd is the Todd who’d already been the Vargases’ kid, Red Todd is newly-adopted Todd :)

In which the offscreen is me lol, I was so blown away by how much more advanced the Sims 2 was from the Sims 1 ♥ Scriabin doesn’t need a box with a program in it, he has the absolute funnest toy in the world already!

And isn’t that the most important part ♪

Scriabin immediately makes himself and hooks up with every Sim he can, Edgar uncomfortable and totally not watching a~ny of the animations hehe ♪ Honestly though, the thought of Scriabin being genuinely excited to virtually get it on with any-and-every delights me haha

Obviously Scriabin would be a long Furby lol, this exchange can be summarized to “Scriabin no D:” “Scriabin yes >:D”

I did briefly lose my mind over how the Furbish word for “I/me/my/mine” is all the same - linguistically it makes sense, self-possessive, but in this, in their context ♥

And it’s @jaspravex with the steel chair!! I hadn’t drawn any of them in like a month and then all of a sudden- I was 1000% not expecting to be hit with such a huge wave of inspiration but gosh and dang did this line of thought light me up. The implication! The jealousy! Wow that’s a lot all at once I wasn’t expecting ♥ Somehow these two never ended up on my shipping chart, dynamics I swear haha ✨

There’s September through February for the fourth go ‘round! Wild when I put it like that :0 Like clockwork, these lads ♪

Hi! not a request or anything just super curious on your opinion of the Saiyan mating mark headcanon? The thing where like instead of traditional Earthling marriage Saiyans who wanna signal they’re taken take a nice big chomp on their partner and the mark is permanent.

It’s a personal fave of mine 🥰🥰

Oh! Thanks for the question! Ah, you can consider my opinion as an unpopular opinion on that matter lol

TLDR - I use to like it, but now I don't. But mating is still hot, so I reference the mating behavior and link it to SS4/Great Ape instincts in my writing ("going into heat" = ki sharing/ki play, biting for pleasure/kink based on the individual > necessity across the race to brand a spouse/mate/s/o, aggressive/possessive behavior = angy great ape instincts, and of course blutz waves from moons dialing it all up = mating cycles), but it's all a display of deep affection or straight up h0rny rather than actual mating that completes a bond between saiyans and/or their s/o. It's just rough sex to saiyans in my opinion, but that doesn't mean the idea can't be enjoyable in the lore of stories they exist in! ♥ 10/10 recommend if you're into it, it's just no longer for me and I wouldn't hold much interest in writing mating in the traditional way.

In what one expects when saiyan mating rituals come to mind and the bite sealing the deal, I personally am no longer a fan of that. I have enjoyed stories around the biting mating ritual in the past (Not exactly d.b.z) and I do like the idea of being connected on a primal level, like this innate magnetic pull driving one being to another that says "we are meant to be together" because I like the romantic and sexy buildup around it, but I think as I got older the "my body is ready with heat imma bite you to scar you and maybe some special mark pops up where it happens to show you belong to me, so we are now one simba" concept kinda fell off for me.

Of course, there are a lot of amazing stories with that idea and trust me it works within the lore of the stories around it when a writer captures all the emotional weight behind it and the lead-up to it keeps you on the edge of the seat, they're perfect reads!

The closest I will ever get to toying with the concept is only if I am writing Super Saiyan 4 characters, and that's only because to me saiyans are more instinctual over intellectual in that form even with full control of their minds. It's always hinted and we see it where the Great Ape form "takes over" even the most rational minds just to rampage and most likely that primal instinct is used for writing the mating stories, so it makes sense to me it has a hold over them in Super Saiyan 4 to some extent. Even then, I just take pieces of what "mating behavior" out of that but I don't implement it under the guise of actual mate bonding. I just use it as a profound "my mind and body are 110% transfixed on you, shut up and take me now" sex. Not mating, not specifically to reproduce, just recreational and probably breeding depending on the tone sex. Biting optional.

The biting I write, my take on it is pretty basic as well. Just this instinct-enhanced creature needs to occupy their mouth, sometimes with the warmth of their lover's body or even as their own personal kink to bite, they could very well just lick to "taste" their desire.

Ex: I say Goku bites when he is excited and desperate, physical sex is exciting, therefore I write him as a biter in SS4. We only see him do it as a desperation act and a running gag for his character, but we also see him say fighting excites him so I just run with that for other physical acts. He doesn't need to bite his s/o, he just enjoys it to me. He's not marking his s/o to establish a bond, as for him the bond is pretty much already there if they've come this far. If he does leave a mark from that one big bite, he's actually guilty about it because he didn't mean to get carried away. He personally doesn't have a good history with his oozaru form, ya know? But if he's desperate in the moment it can just happen.

But that same act of biting won't apply to all of them. Certain saiyans may like it for the rush, the taste of blood when the skin breaks, the temptation to break the skin with their teeth pressed against it, to ground themselves in the moment of raw pleasure, or not at all, etc. , etc.

I portray SS4 Goku as the biter, Vegeta as more attracted to d0m/binding behavior (which he probably does w/o SS4) and wants to pin his s/o with his whole body to establish his place "above" them, Bardock's probably less talkative about making moves on his s/o and I would actually fit him the most to the traditional mating rituals but specifically for breeding, Raditz's vanity is dialed up to 10 because of his size, he's bigger and now stronger than usual so using these two things against his s/o comes with poorly contained and rougher handling and biting would be present for him and that can also be bad tbh, Gogeta is the playful d0m who bites, but also is the multi-orgasm type, gotta get them fast and hard, and doesn't stick to one hole, and Vegito is screaming bigger d0m who likes to talk out what he does as some vain praise if not straight up degrading his "oponent", and Gohan 100% protrays the one-sided, yet calculated aggression where pushed limits come with praise and he's the least likely to bite at all (I have not given all of them a specific thought to process on their SS4 behavior and this proves it lol).

Overall for saiyans, "mating" in my writing can be summed up as just rough sex through transformation. Driven by not only their probably already existing love but just a basic need as any creature to get down and busy instead of a forced period to establish a mate through binding someone with a formal bite. I'm not even gonna pretend to have an opinion on what a marriage is like for them, but to my knowledge they refer to their s/o by marital titles sometimes (Bardock refers to Gine as his wife in XV2 and Vegeta calls Bulma his wife throughout Super) right? For my sanity, I'd keep it simple to a traditional human marriage type, like it's a universal concept understood across the stars. I can BS a lot of things for the sake of a fic, but marriage rituals ain't it lol at least not yet

That's my opinion! This probably went absolutely nowhere but I hope it at least gives an idea of my portrayal of the concept vs how it is usually seen. awwww, thank you for your request, dear Angy! 💛✨ I was so happy to write a small piece of text for you. I was able to write it in a single text with the necessary phrases, but I couldn't come up with something piquant. But I hope you enjoy it! Thank you very much!

“It's starting to become a tradition. I only have to let you go to the valley once, and something happens to you. ”

“And I'm glad to see you. ”

Moon rose wearily from the couch and winced. Jacob frowned at this and stepped closer. His gaze did not escape the way Moon hurriedly touched her palm under her chest. Seeing that look, she immediately removed her hand.

“Wanna see what I’m wearing underneath all this, right? ” She joked listlessly. “I'm sorry, but you have to be patient. ”

“What happened? ” Jacob was in too bad mood to react to Moon's jokes. She sighed heavily and sat up on the bed. The bandages hurt her chest.

“Decimus went off the rails,” she said grimly. “Me, him, Billy and John were at the ranch when it happened. Billy, she... well, she listens to old music through a vinyl record player. Nobody expected the damn song to suddenly start playing in the room. ”

There was no need to explain to Jacob further. He understood which song Moon had in mind.

“What happened next? ”

Moon clearly didn't want to talk about it, but she continued.

“He grabbed a bust that was at his hand and hit Billy in the face. We didn't even immediately understand what had happened. Decimus lunged at John, but I intercepted him. I hardly remember what happened. He was just not himself. When John broke the vinyl record player, Decimus did not calm down for a while. ”

Moon glanced at Jacob.

“You can be proud of your experiments. Decimus has exceeded all your expectations. And my own, too, probably. ”

“Lamb and John are to blame, ” Jacob said rudely, frowning. “John had to make sure that this music was not freely available. He knew about Decimus.

“I agree about John, but Billy,” Moon said wearily. “She doesn't know about the experiments you are doing. Joseph told her not to tell her about it.”

“Joseph is wrong, and I told him so,” Seed said. “If he wanted her to be one of us, he had to tell her everything. ”

“I know,” Moon said. “But he won't tell.”

There was a tense silence between them. At that moment, Jacob and Moon thought that they would never dare to discuss with each other, because it seemed wild. They both understood why Joseph was so protective of Billy.

People who aggressively fight their weaknesses all their lives always notice this in others.

Billy had been looking in the mirror for a full quarter of an hour, and could not come to her senses. Her swollen face was visible in the reflection. A huge purple bruise bloomed on her cheekbone, and her right eye was completely red. Billy gently touched her cheekbone with her fingers and winced. This brought her an even greater outburst of pain, and the girl pushed the mirror away from her. She could no longer look at her face.

When the door opened behind her, Billy did not turn around. She didn't want to face people who might come to her. But in spite of this, she quickly looked around and at the same instant turned away.

John silently closed the door behind him and walked into the room. They have not seen each other since this misunderstanding occurred. Billy was then seen by a doctor, and she was unconscious, and John looked into her bloody face, and could not believe what had happened.

The real madness began later. Moon was taken to the hospital because Decimus cut her with his flick-blade, and he himself had to be tied up and locked in a separate room under guard. John had to call Jacob and, worst of all, Joseph. It all happened right under his nose, through his own fault, and the younger Seed didn't know what was the worst. Jacob's anger or Joseph's frustration. He didn't have to choose, because he experienced it all to the fullest.

And now John decided to visit Billy. The main culprit for what happened. If Joseph had only let him tell her everything, he would not have had to take the blame for her carelessness. But baby Billy loves old music, and for some reason, among her stupid records, there was exactly one that could kill them all.

Ridiculousness.

"Aren't you tired of sitting in a cage, birdie? How about getting out of here?"

"I don't want."

The girl stood with her back to him. This was new. John walked over to her and tried to turn her towards him, but Billy pulled out of his arms and took a few steps away. Seed narrowed its eyes.

"Leave me alone, Seed," Billy said, cupping her elbows. "I want to be alone. "

John wouldn't be himself if he gave up so easily. He silently walked over to her and pulled her chin. Billy turned away.

“I don’t want you to look at me,” Billy said quietly.

“Don't be a child, Sybill."

John took her tightly on his chin and made her look at himself. He expected anything but this. But despite this, the Seed knew how to control himself. He couldn't let Billy see what was embarrassing him.

John didn’t want Billy to shut herself back in the same way he did after Danny’s death. Joseph then had to intervene, and again he was very disappointed. Because of this girl, he disappointed his brother too much, and John had to stop it.

That was what he was thinking when he pulled Billy over and kissed him hard. Bluebird started mooing in protest, but John only hugged her tighter and deepened the kiss. Seed kissed damn well, and Billy couldn't resist it for long, however this time she pushed him away with a painful cry.

John realized that he was hurting her all this time.

“I'm sorry,” John said irritably. "I didn't want."

He almost chastely kissed her healthy cheek, which Billy did not resist.

"Can I ask you something?"

John knew immediately what she wanted to know.

"Do you want to know why he did it? " John wanted to solve this problem more

quickly. He didn't like watching Billy tormented by guessing why Decimus had done all this. He wanted to quickly help her get rid of the consequences of what had happened. After all, it is his responsibility.

Billy nodded.

“You should talk to him about this. Decimus has already asked me about this. "

Billy looked at John in dismay. Seed has not seen her so much fear in a long time.

"And if he attacks me again?"

"You think I would let him come to you if it was dangerous?" John asked irritably. Billy closed her eyes and lowered her head. She was really afraid, and John had to do something about it.

He needs to get everything back as soon as possible.

“I'll tell him to come and see you today. Will you be okay?"

Billy nodded, but John was not satisfied with the answer.

“Tell me that, Sybill. "

Billy sighed heavily and looked at John.

“Please, John, stop torturing me. I’ll be good, I promise."

Decimus was standing near the ranch, smoking his third cigarette. He should have been in Billy's room ten minutes ago, but right now he felt very bad.

He still couldn't believe what had happened. When he woke up, he did not understand anything, but he quickly learned the whole truth. The girls ended up in the hospital, Jacob was furious, and John got all the charges. Everyone looked at Decimus with condescension, realizing that he still could not help himself, and it only made him worse. He understood perfectly well that what had happened was nobody's fault, except him. Decimus himself once participated in these experiments. He and Jacob were united by a desire to get rid of the weaknesses and feelings that hindered both of them. Decimus did not spare himself in these experiments, but realized very late that he had only mutilated himself in vain. It became a time bomb that could be set in motion with one careless movement, and that's exactly what happened.

Decimus visited Moon recently. Despite the fact that Decimus thought Moon and Jacob's relationship was absurd, he admitted she was a good woman. Moon did not even think to accuse him of anything. She laughed and said that she hadn’t had such sparring for a long time and offered to repeat it somehow. These words did not make life easier for the man, but he saw that Moon was really recovering quickly. It pleased him.

Billy is a different story.

He knew that she was the only one of their strange gang who did not understand anything at all. John warned him that he hadn't said anything to Billy, and now Decimus had to tell her his version of what had happened. He took it as an atonement because justifying his actions in this situation was a difficult task.

And besides that... Decimus could not get used to the idea that he almost finished off the man who was the most sympathetic to him of the whole sect (not counting John)

Decimus took a deep breath, dropped another cigarette butt, and headed toward the house.

When he knocked, he was immediately invited to enter. And as soon as Decimus entered the room, he immediately wished to leave this place.

Billy was sitting on the sofa in such a position, as if she was not expecting him, but some maniac, ready to pounce on her at any moment. She glanced at him briefly and immediately lowered her eyes in shame. Decimus saw that he had smashed half of her face. This made him even worse.

The guy went into the room and closed the door behind him. Billy shuddered. She was clearly afraid to be alone with him.

Decimus pretended not to notice.

“Look, I'm sorry about what happened,” he said immediately, not daring to get very close to Billy. “What happened... it's not your fault. I didn't mean to hurt you or anyone else.”

Billy held her hands between her knees. She was very tense, but still asked.

“But why did you do it? ”

Decimus took an empty chair and sat down next to the girl.

“Even before I got here... I was a volunteer in experiments.”

Billy looked him in the eye for the first time.

“I’ll not tell everything that happened, but my goal was to get rid of the weaknesses that prevented me. I was programmed with drugs. When I hear "Only you", my consciousness turns off. At this point, I can only destroy, Billy.”

Bluebird was the last person to whom he would like to tell about this feature of his body. She always seemed to him so pure and spotless that he certainly wanted to protect her with the dirt of this world. Unwittingly, he understood the feelings of Joseph, who, for reasons unknown to him, always shielded her. But after what happened, Decimus knew he had no choice. Billy will always avoid him now after that damn evening.

“Why did you want this? ”

Decimus looked at the girl. Vague emotions reflected on her face.

“I already said. I wanted to get rid of my weaknesses.”

“From what?”

It will be a long conversation. What could Decimus tell her? Tell how all his life he looked at a lustful father who did not care about any of his ten children? Tell her about the drug-addicted, sex-addicted John Decimus took home from these parties? All his life he was surrounded by these people, and least of all he wanted to become the same. He knew he had to be strong.

“I've looked at people being killed by their weaknesses and addictions for too long, Billy. I wanted to be stronger than all of them. But in the end...”

“But in the end, you yourself created a gap in your defense. ”

Decimus smiled. Billy was not a philosopher or psychologist, but somehow she managed to understand people very well.

“Yes. And so it happened.”

They were silent for a while. Each of them was thinking about his own at that moment.

“All right, Billy,” Decimus said and stood up. Billy looked at him quickly. - I have to go. I...”

Previously, Decimus had patted her on the shoulder goodbye, but now he realized that this was not the best idea. However, Billy saw that he was about to do it, and so she got up from the couch and walked over to the guy. Decimus frowned.

“Forgive me,” he said. “The last thing I wanted for you.”

“I know, Dets.” Billy said quietly. “And I'm not afraid of you. I didn't even have time to figure out what happened, and... well, I'm fine. ”

Decimus smiled faintly.

“You don’t have to pretend, Bills. I know you won't forget it so easily. But I'm ready for this. ”

Billy frowned and gave him an unexpectedly light hit on the shoulder.

“Don't be smart!” She said, pursing her lips. “you know nothing.”

Decimus laughed with relief and raised his hands in surrender. It was a sight completely unprecedented. Billy, who has spent most of her life riding a motorcycle, told Decimus, who had read Hegel and Kant, that he knew nothing.

This could not but amuse him.

Billy once told him that she didn't know why she was here, but Decimus knew one thing for sure. Their company of psychos and unbalanced people was looking for someone simple and kind. So that looking at this person, you understand that there is still something good in your life.

This is probably why Joseph is so protective of her. And Moon. And even John.

And he himself too.

The door opened without knocking and John was in the room. He looked closely at the friends who were standing close to each other, and Decimus immediately noticed how he did not like it.

John is such a jealous asshole.

“I need you. Now!”

Decimus raised his palms again in an apologetic gesture and looked at Billy. She smiled weakly back at him, even though she, too, felt John's indignation.

“See you, Bills.”

“See you, Dets.”

Hi! I’m htbthomas on AO3 as everywhere. I’ve been watching ToT run for a while, but never signed up before. Finally diving in!

GENERAL LIKES AND DISLIKES:

I have a few bulletproof story kinks. Use them if you like!

Secret Identity - I love characters with secrets. Ones they’re keeping from their friends, from their family, from their coworkers, from the world-at-large. I like it when one or two inner circle people know, but not everyone they know.

Powers - I especially like when it’s a power that the character is hiding. If they’re using it for heroism, even better. I love discovering new powers, using powers to help or get ahead in a sneaky way.

Reveals - despite everything I just said, my favorite thing ever is someone finding out the secret. I always want the love interest to find out, or the enemy, or the neighbor, or the random acquaintance or stranger. Okay, pretty much anyone. I still don’t want EVERYONE to know, but I ache for the stories of when the select few learn the truth like burning.

Humor - I like everything mixed with humor. Even the darkest fandoms need a little, sometimes a lot. Make me laugh and I’ll pick out all my favorite moments. I particularly like absurdist and meta humor.

Fake/Pretend Relationships - Fake dating, engagement, marriage, whatever, you name it, I’m into it. I love the oh-no-I’m-getting-real-feelings moments, or the I-have-real-feelings-but-I-can’t-let-them-know moments, too.

Canon-Typical - Unless I say otherwise, I like the humor, violence, sexual content and language of the source material to stay similar in fic.

Ship-Content - I like anything from G-rated kissing to E-rated smut.

Other things I like: crossovers/fusions are fun, tropey fics rock, getting together, first times (of all kinds) and family/group bonding are my jam.

DNWS:

no mundane AUs, like high school or coffee shop. I like the canon secrets/powers to stay in any AUs.

I have been lowkey shipping these two since I caught up with the show a couple years ago. I love that even though Chloe is in the know now, there are powers she hasn’t seen and things about Lucifer’s background she doesn’t know. I’ve also recently discovered a fondness for wing kink re: these two. 😁

Prompts:

Treat: Lucifer uses his mojo (working in this case) or other powers for Chloe's benefit, but without her knowing.

Treat: Give me some wing kink

Trick: More creepy stuff with Michael, either with Chloe or Lucifer. His fear mojo has many possibilities.

Palm Springs (2020): Nyles, Sarah

I LOVED this movie. I’m a big fan of time loops, and both Andy Samberg and Cristin Millioti are charming as hell. I also loved Nyles and Sarah being stuck together (along with Roy), but at different points in the experience - one discovering it, one long resigned. Major 😍 at Nyles not caring if they never get out, he loves her through it all. And the fact that Sarah breaks the loop is the BEST. ♥

Prompts:

Treat or Trick: A missing scene from the days when they’re getting to know each other

Treat: If you’re scientifically inclined - how did Sarah figure out how to break the loop (the movie zoomed through that)

Treat: Where do they go next after the loop is broken? What things do they still need to learn about each other? What things can they now experience together outside of Palm Springs?

Trick: Nyles and/or Sarah have a difficult time adjusting to a world that has consequences again.

Single Parents (TV): Will Cooper, Angie D'Amato

This show getting cancelled hurt my heart so much, especially with that cliffhanger of an ending. I’ve written a version of what might come next, and I’ve read pretty much all of them on AO3 as well. What do YOU think might happen?

Prompts:

Treat: I’m good with any possibility after Angie smells the candle and remembers Will’s love confession. She goes to Barstow anyway, she turns around, she keeps what she knows secret, she tells someone in the group, she tells Will, etc.

Treat: Something Will smells (or any other memory trigger) causes him to remember what he said as well. What does he do with that info?

Treat: The kids get tired of their parents pining for each other and decide to do something

Treat: The friend group traps them together to make them admit feelings.
