Keyframes VN Update

Hear ye! I've come with updates for Keyframes! This time, I'm shooting over some previews for our CGs!

Currently, we have one artist who's breaking sweat getting these done for our players so be sure to thank @tsyshen for her efforts!

2/7 CGs are already fully rendered, and haha you can probably already guess who these two are.

The rest of the CGs are a work in progress, but we can give you a bit of a hint as to what you can expect in the extended demo with them!

All these papers strewn about must mean you're studying. And jeez-- that monstrous burger sure looks intimidating. But it looks like you're hanging out with a large group of people in these events!

And believe it or not, the rest of the previews I've got to show you are from the same event-- the BBQ party you've played through in the Otome Jam Demo!

We've talked about this a little bit beforehand, but some of the CGs in the extended demo and the game moving forward can change depending on the choices you've made!

Regardless of these changes- there's quite the celebratory mood in each shot, don't you think?

If you haven't heard already, the plan for the CGs in our VN stray a little from convention. In that, not all of them are going to be specially romantic or dramatic, or these full on screen images. Rather some of them are just photos reminiscent of something that you would even find in your own photo gallery.

I can't wait for everyone to see the full photos as well as the subtle changes amongst some of them! I hope it feels as authentic as taking silly pictures with your friends and may everyone make happy memories with our cast!

In theory, it would be easy to hate Scaramouche. The other man is bitchy, and rude, and cruel, and completely, fundamentally, in-fucking-capable of taking a joke. sad, and unfortunately brutally realistic thoughts below the cut. just a rant (i’m not doing well mentally so beware) to throw out into my world since i’m currently avoiding people in all aspects of my life as i contemplate and rot and maybe explain why i go from being all happy-go-bitchy to silent and anxious the moment something snaps me out of the simulation (and that in itself is such a bitch lol) here (and in real life).

i understand we don’t talk about it because as humans, we strive for happiness and encourage positivity so we keep going until we can’t, but there is nothing more disheartening than knowing one day i’ll sigh, and lose. just know it’s time. and i suspect it won’t be a moment of true defeat for me. i don’t think it will be freedom, either, but i know it will happen. and i am scarily okay with that, as i am simply existing in day-to-day life to get through it until i reach that point. i don’t think it will be today, but it will happen eventually. some day.

i’m not you know, actively su!cidal or anything, i’ll keep posting, updating and continue going on with my day-to-day life as i’ve been doing, and i’ll have my good days, and bad days, i’m just sure i know how it’ll end (if my own damn body doesn’t take me out on its own lol)

also, i don’t need any feedback or comments or anything like that. i know some people will think this is for attention or something, but i know i already have emotional support. i know it’s around if i look for it—this is just the reality of my particular situation. just thought i’d put it out there, if anyone feels the same or struggles with stuff like this. some musings, albeit, a little dark.

and i can’t tell this to my psychologist, otherwise i’ll end up with more pairs of grippy socks (that i cannot STAND, they bother my toes and feet so much, very unpleasant) that won’t change anything but take away like three days of PTO i seem to be using up like crazy 😑
