Life is good
Author note: I was .......inspired and with Valentine closing up.......feeling a little depressed and sad, and Aomine Daiki just has a soothing effect on me.
Warnings: None, just a whole lot of freaking fluff, wishing he was real right now.
Word count: 864
Song inspiration: some playlist on youtube
Imagine....
He was staring.
Yes, he knew he was staring but could you blame him? There are not a lot of things he likes to watch. The majority of programs and shows these days weren't amusing. He found himself bored most of the time. His magazines no longer kept him entertained. God knows no one stood a chance against him in basketball. Ever since Kagami moved back to America, basketball wasn't the same. The miracles kept him occupied, but they didn't meet as often. Everyone had their own life to live.
Kise was off travelling with all kinds of different modelling gigs and even landing acting jobs. Kuroko was somehow living peacefully as a kindergarten teacher. Murasakibara was running his own bakery, which shockingly is flourishing. Midorima was off in the medical field and saving lives. Akaashi had finally taken over his father's dynasty and was perfect about doing it. No shock there. Daiki couldn't help but compare his life with theirs. It wasn't that he thought they had it better, but sometimes he couldn't help but think that he hadn't accomplished as much as them.
During those times, something or more like someone would remind him that his life may not be luxurious with constant new challenges and entertainment on a screen or paper. But he was lucky to own what he had. That someone would be you.
You are standing in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. He thanks God every day for gifting him you, cause he could´nt cook for his life. But you, you were amazing at it. The way you entered the kitchen as if it was your domain. You could make any sort of food, new or old, and it would be delicious. Daiki never had a complaint about any food that was made by your hands. The trust he had in you was unmatched.
But today was different.
"Sweetcheeks, you´re supposed to rest. You have been on your feet for too long"
He rises from the sofa and walks over to you. He grabs the bowl in your hand at puts it on the counter. He then turns to you and takes a hold of your forearms. You can only pout at him. You have been having cravings like no other for far too long and you just want to satisfy them. You do understand where he is coming from. The doctor did tell you to rest and not to overwork yourself, but you love cooking. For you, it feels weird not cooking the food at home.
"Baby I know you wanna feed us, but you have to think about yourself, your health and the baby's health too"
Your pout deepens. You hold your hand over your swollen stomach. You are looking forward to this baby coming out. Being 6 months pregnant was not easy, especially with a husband that is as protective as Daiki is with you and the baby. Not to mention that the doctors are worried about you and keep telling you to rest when you just wanna move around like normal.
"Daiki, we both know you can´t cook to save your life. We can´t keep eating out, now that is not healthy"
Daiki only chuckles softly and hugs you as tightly as he can with your stomach.
"My sweet sweet wife. Always prioritizing everyone over herself."
You smile, but hide it from him while lightly hitting him. He was corny but you loved him very much. You feel blessed to be the one person he acts like this with. This was your special Daiki, your husband. There is no one else you would wanna spend the rest of your life with but him. He feels the same way. There was and never has been anyone more perfect like you. Even though you like to tell him that you are not perfect, he always insists that you're wrong.
"Come on baby, you got the food in the oven and the dessert is standing right here in front of me. What more do you need to do?"
You blush lightly and hide your face in his chest. He hugs you a little tighter and kisses your forehead.
"Let's go"
He lets go of you but doesn't stay far away for long. He grabs the back of your knees while he has an arm around your shoulders and lifts you. You giggle and hide your face in his neck and he walks with you to the sofa. He leaves you on the sofa and goes back to the kitchen. You try to look over your shoulder to see what he is doing, but he is already on his way back. In his hand, he has brought your tea and a snack. He lays it down on the table. While he sits down, he brings a fuzzy blanket with him and covers you both with it.
"I got you" he says and kisses your temple and hugs you to his chest.
Honestly, he was right. The cleaning could wait.
It was cuddle time anyways.

[disclaimer: i do not own the original animated picture, it was uploaded to wallpapercave by apple3d]
your hands shook for the first time that day as you stood there in the kitchen, the apron loosely hanging to your tired form. your left hand on the white onion that you just peeled, your right hand holding the knife, the nails of which carried the remnants of the aforementioned onion’s shell. your hand shook as you kept thinking about it, about how you just have had enough.
turns out marrying aomine daiki was not the difficult part, the hardest part came afterwards — staying married to him, cause God bears witness to how many times you have just wanted to scream and shout out of sheer hatred.
hatred not for him but his sport, his career, and now that you think about it — hatred for a part of him, too, cause basketball was not just a sport for him, it was his entire life which you have always whole-heartedly supported but sometimes, just sometimes, you want to headbutt him and then maybe, just maybe wrap your small (compared to his) hands around his neck and squeeze with all your might to watch the life fleeing through his eyes.
but guess we are not ready for that conversation yet.
shaking your head, you continued with cutting the onion, although you almost did cut your finger but it was a near miss. after you were done cutting the carrots and the beans, you moved the pot filled with water on top of the stove at high flame.
the sound of the door opening did not do much to faze you and you gently continued with putting the chopped vegetables inside the pot, now that the water was shimmering a bit. the surrounding soon filled with the familiar sound of daiki’s practice bag dropping to the floor, followed by the unlacing of his shoes and his socks dropping on the floor to which he is not going to pay another look to.
his footsteps were soft and almost rhythmic as they resounded louder with every step that he took because he was taking those steps towards you only. you knew very well what exactly was going to happen next but nonetheless you kept playing ‘don’t do it dai-kun’ in your head like a mantra and there, just when you were in the middle of chanting that mantra, it happened.
his sweaty figure hovered behind you, so close to your back that you could feel his breath on your shoulder, his hands were swift, much like in basketball as he wrapped them around your chest, his right hand falling in place — on your left breast.
“mhm, here are my favourite pair of tits.”
the smirk that must have formed on his lips is unmistakable.
‘so you have other pair of backup tits?’ you would have replied on a regular day but you kept quiet.
daiki noted your silence but continued, “and no, i do not have any pair of backup tits, yours are enough.”
he expected you to reply now maybe but you kept quiet.
and then came the familiar grinding, his lower half grinded against your ass, his boner becoming more and more prominent.
and that was it, that is what it all took.
“leave me alone dai-kun,” your voice was exceptionally low. in your mind however that was mellow cause what you expected to do was burst out, have a meltdown, break things even maybe but aomine daiki’s sheer presence just proved that you were his wife first and y/n second and you hated that, hated yourself for that.
daiki chuckled thinking nothing of it and inched his fingers near your nipple to stimulate it but your hand on his startled him. your small cold hand on his usual hotter one is what it took for him to finally understand that something was amiss.
“what’s wrong?”
“wow, the fucking nerve you have.”
“excuse me?” daiki was startled again and took a step back.
you turned around after your hand instinctively lowered the flame of the stove, “have you seen the time?”
“yeah. it’s late i know, and?”
“and what dai kun?! and fucking what? i am fucking tired. it is 12 in the middle of a god awful night and you are coming back now. i was late tonight as well and just wanted to come home to my husband but i got what i always get, fucking loneliness creeping and lingering in this ‘shared’ apartment.”
your tone change at the ‘shared’ word surprised you even. you did not mean to sound that rude.
“babe, if work is getting overwhelming and you have to put in more hours, it is fine. i will understand if you do not want to cook. leave it, we can just order something,” daiki offered you a gentle smile, his hand advancing towards you but your maniacal laugh shocked, nay, scared him. it was bone chilling. you do not even talk in a louder tone and here you were laughing an almost sadistic laugh.
“wh-what’s wrong?” daiki stuttered, probably the first time in his life, wait the second; counting the time when he proposed to you because he was shit scared out of his mind.
“of course you would not mind if i do not cook one night, aomine daiki and maybe if i stop cooking altogether, that would not bother you as well. you know what, i should stop waking up at four in the morning to prepare your bento boxes and attending your matches, taping your broken bones and taking your parents to their monthly doctor checkups. oh and also, definitely stop fucking you.”
daiki was not sure what was happening nor did he have any idea how to respond to your outburst, “baby, if it is getting hard at work, it is okay if you want to take a break or something.”
you had not noticed but you were crying, you cannot just be angry, if you are angry you obviously are also crying because that is the only way you know how to vent out.
you shook your head, “and they told me talking would fix things. my fucking ass,” you sniffled, wiping your tears as if in a hurry and pulled your shrug closer to your form as if a cold draft just passed through you, “i am leaving, dai-kun. since you would not really notice if i stopped doing any of that, i don’t see the point of even standing here anymore,” your hand reached out inside the pocket to bring out your phone.
daiki watched you in horror, like in that match when kagami passed through daiki’s defense using kuroko’s misdirection overflow. back then it took two people to faze him but here, tonight, you were doing it alone so effortlessly.
“can you pick me up?” your soft sniffles rang like bells inside his head, it was as if everything around him was moving in slow-motion.
he meant to ask you who had you called or maybe where you were going or how long were you taking a break for but you beat him to it.
“akashi kun is coming to pick me up, you will receive the divorce papers first thing in the morning,” you rushed to the bedroom after noticing his star struck expression, your tears free falling but you hardly cared about them as you hurriedly stuffed in your clothes inside a suitcase.
daiki took a while to process everything but was quick to follow you to the bedroom, “babe please, we can talk. i swear i will listen to everything you have to say.”
“you just listened dai kun, listened to everything i had to say. i am done now. i am not even sure if i want to see you again.”
daiki never knew that words could hurt so deeply cause that last bit struck him, struck him deep almost like it gnawed away a huge portion of his heart. a heart that he did not even possess for years now cause he gave it to you, in its entirety.
there was a car honk outside and he just watched wordlessly as you walked out of the apartment. how the hell did akashi come so quickly? or maybe its daiki who has lost track of time cause by the time he ran downstairs to try and stop you, you had already ascended akashi’s mercedes and left.
there, you were gone. his iris lit up with only the red from the tail-lights of the car, it was blurring at first but as the car went further away, it became smaller and smaller till it was only a small speck. you were only a small speck, or smaller cause he could not make out your figure in the passenger seat anymore. you were too far from him, too far. the only sound he heard in the lull of the night was the thud of his knees and the slight crack of his bones as they met with the sidewalk.
“are you sure about this?” akashi’s voice lacked the usual confidence and luster.
you nodded at once, “yes. i am sure. it is way past the final quarter, i should accept my defeat and move on,” you tried to make a basketball joke to lighten the mood.
akashi’s words died down in his throat as he just offered a small nod and kept driving. an hour drive later, you arrived at aida riko’s house where akashi left soon after helping with your luggage.
you watched his car driving away, a part of you wished that he went back to daiki and maybe checked up on him. you have never seen daiki that upset but the other part of you just could not be bothered to care.
riko ushered you back inside, the warmth of her house filled you with that same emptiness as you started crying again, your blurred vision moved from one corner to the other as you noticed the christmas decoration. it was christmas eve and although the decorative lights were turned off but you could just feel it in your bones how good and bright they would be shining around the tree, a feeling you could never experience in your own home in the past three years. it was just four walls and a roof, an apartment at best, where daiki resided for an hour or two, or less maybe if he skipped the foreplay and just fucked you and then even skipped the shower afterwards to leave again for practice at the crack of dawn.
“i am sorry, i must have ruined your christmas,” your voice cracked and you repeated yourself just to make sure you were audible enough.
riko was quick to hug your shaking form, her hand rubbing soothing circles on your back, “never ever think like that again.”
you tried to stop crying but you could not, instead you just hugged her form and kept crying for what felt like hours cause her arms always felt like an older sister’s would.

feedback is deeply appreciated.✨

“you go out first- wait, fix your tie,” you stammer, reaching for the taller man’s collared shirt, adjusting it in addition to fixing the dark tie hung around it, pulled lose from your doing probably.
fwb!aomine only stares down at you with an easy expression, eyes glinting in satisfaction by the deep flush of your cheeks and slight disheveled appearance. he didn’t even go far, only making out with you and some light grinding in the back corner of the bar where no one could see. yet still, you’re flustered expression makes it look like you went far beyond that.
“thank you,” he murmurs hoarsely, tipping his head downward to send a chill down your back. “you know it’s coming off later anyway right?” he says coolly, bringing a hand up to tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear. you squeak at the insinuation of his words, quickly glaring at him afterward.
“aomine-!”
“daiki,” he corrects lowly, retracting his hand.
“-don’t just say stuff like that!”
the dark haired man only laughs at you, not in the condescending way like he usually did, but more lighthearted, more amused if anything.
“sorry, sorry,” he apologizes but the grin on his face contradicts his message entirely. “i’ll be going then.” he pats your cheek gently, leaning down once more to press a chaste kiss to your lips.
aomine leaves you alone in the corner to collect yourself, both physically and mentally. the burn in your stomach makes you frown, both in frustration and discomfort, just by the doing of the raven haired man alone.
you spend the next few minutes tugging at your dress, a pretty floral dress, as to how it was earlier in the evening during dinner, and patting down your hair, in hopes it wasn’t too much of a mess. the flush of your cheeks still burns at the entire recent event making you wonder how aomine could always appear so calm and casual.
you and daiki aomine are not a couple. definitely not.
but you sure as hell ain’t just friends either.
from what you recall, your... relationship began around six months prior at a reunion with your friends from college; it'd been only a year since you all graduated.
you'd all gone separate ways through your respective careers and though you did manage to see your friends on different occasions or when you were free, it was never the whole lot of you as it is right now.
so, those six months ago, the reunion, having taken place at a bar, set the perfect stage for the two off you. you and aomine had been the last ones of the friend group to leave the bar, having settled on two bar stools, updating the other about what had gone on in your lives. one thing led to another, alcohol and the bar's romantic aura playing a significant role, and you ended up going home with him. from that moment forward, it became an unspoken thing, a physical relationship for either of your needs.
once you’re seated, you send a pressed grin to the rest of the table, hopeful that no one saw through your lie about using the restroom.
briefly, you glance over at aomine who’s already immersed in a conversation with kagami, hand wrapped around the beer he most likely ordered as a ploy for why he was gone for so long. he's pulled up his sleeves, cuffing them, showing off a peek of the tattood sleeve he has on his left arm. as if feeling your stare, he averts his gaze for a split second, looking at you, offering you a raised brow.
you scrunch your nose at the way you can read his mind.
already wanting more, the mischievous glint in his eye says all. he eyes the front door of the restaurant, as if saying let's get out of here, followed by a cheeky smile behind the beer bottle he's about to take a swig of.
you scoff quietly at that, shaking your head at his brazenness.
"what about you, y/n?"
"hm, what?" you're brought out of your staring contest with aomine by the light chime beside you. you turn to face kise who's smiling rather mischievously at you. "sorry what was the question?"
"have you been out on dates throughout the year? midorimacchi says he's too busy and kurokocchi is gatekeeping his relationship with momoi," he says with a pout, tilting his head down at you.
"oh! uh, nope, no dates," you reveal with a nervous laugh. it isn't exactly a lie. all those times aomine's come over your place and you to his, you don't really consider dates and you're sure he doesn't either. confirming your thoughts, when you glance over at the man, he simply twitches an eyebrow upward in a playful manner.
"wha- really?" kise comments incredulously. "i sincerely doubt that."
"why?" you can't help but ask with a confused expression, furrowing your brows at him. it seems the rest of the table has settled into teir own conversation with the person or persons beside him, leaving you and kise to chat.
"well, i mean, you're pretty! i'd think people would've asked you out during the year," he admits a bit bashfully, rubbing a hand behind his neck. you think nothing of it, simply waving him off as being nice.
"you're too sweet," you sighing, flicking your hand downward. "besides, i've been too busy with work anyway so dates aren't really on my priority list."
"awh, c'mon really?" kise croons out, jutting out his lower lips. "what if i asked you out?"
"hm?" your brows furrow, full attention straying from the near empty plat of food in front of you to the blonde sitting beside you.
"would you go if i asked you out?" his tone is cheeky, warm, something you understand as a joke or a bit for you to play along with.
"very cheeky," you scoff out with an amused eye roll.
you don't catch the minuscule falter in kise's expression at your lack of awareness, but he quickly recovers when akashi across the table bids his attention, brining him into another conversation.
it isn't until the mini conversation is over that you feel burning into your temple, causing you to look up, only to meet the hard stare aomine's sending your way. your brows knit together in slight confusion, wondering how his expression could change so quickly from calm and lighthearted to seemingly pissed off.
you mouth out a 'you okay?' as to not draw attention to the whole table. you stomach only sinks when he's responds with nothing but a scoff into the bottle, turning his attention away from you and back to kagami in front of him.
the rest of dinner goes rather smoothly, minus aomine's deep frown, with only chatter about the nostalgia of your memories from college, high school and beyond.
"is he alright?" kagami murmurs to you as he helps you with your coat as you all gather to leave. "he seemed a little off toward the end of the night."
you give the taller man a pressed, yet clueless, smile. "no idea. i'll try to ask him about it." you glance over at him whose chin is dropped close to his chest as he stares rather pointedly at you, awaiting you near the front door. "and now he's getting impatient. i'll see you soon!"
you quickly bid your friends goodbye, hastily following aomine back to his car, since he'd dropped you off to the dinner in the first place.
the car ride home is excruciatingly quiet, only the radio and rumble of the car's gas filling your ears as aomine stares straight ahead at the road, tightly gripping the steering wheel.
"daiki-" you attempt to break the silence, but your voice falls in your throat. you shiver in your seat, bringing your thin jacket closer to you in hopes for more warmth. you can't tell if it's the car's cool temperature or aomine's cold aura that's freezing you.
at your movement, aomine slightly relaxes, nonchalantly bringing a hand to his car's controls and turning down the air condition.
"i'm sure kise was only being friendly," you quickly blurt, seizing the opportunity to speak when this is the first time he's so much as twitched since the two of you entered the car. that must be what it's about, right? "you know he's naturally like that."
like that, you say since you're too worried at striking a nerve for even so much as calling him flirty.
you can't tell if the man beside you likes or dislikes your answer anyway but his clenched jaw makes you think it's the latter.
you don't even know why he's so agitated by it; an old friend casually flirted with you, so what? it was in kise's character to be the friendly type and aomine's known him longer than you have; wouldn't he be more accustomed to that?
the man beside you only hums out in response, no acknowledgment in the form of a turn of his head or mere eye contact through side-eyes.
sure, you were close to aomine in more ways than one, but never did you think something as minor as a slight flirt from kise could get on his nerves. he's always been at least a little protective of you since you'd first met in college, steering you away from sleazes and guys he knew were no good. but as far as your concerned, kise's not one of those guys so why on earth is he so upset?
was it something you said?
maybe it had nothing to do with the fact that it was kise flirting with you but the fact that you accepted it? brushing and laughing it off giving him a hunch you liked the guy? that was far from the case but you could see the misunderstanding.
you grasp at another opportunity to speak to him when he parks in front of your apartment building, putting the car in park with the adjustment of his gearshift. quickly covering his hand with yours before he could pull away, you try again. "daiki," you start seriously, worry lacing your tone. "what is it?"
for the first time since you've left the restaurant, he turns to face you and looks at you. his stern expression, knitted brows and deep glare softens when he sees your wide, curious eyes and small frown.
god, he hates the way he's feeling. aomine never feels like this. never angry about some guy, much less some guy interacting with you.
"kise has a crush on you."
aomine's words come out stern and matter-of-fact, throwing you off guard. it's the first thing he's said for a while so that? that wasn't what you were expecting.
"he ... huh?" you attempt to blink away your confusion, batting your lashes at the man beside you quizzically.
it didn't help every face you made made you so damn cute either, aomine thinks as he pushes his tongue into the side of his cheek to keep from so much as smiling at your expression.
"kise," he tries again, raising a brow, "got the hots for you. 'heard him talking about it with tetsu."
your nose scrunches at his choice of words, internally scoffing at hots for you, but you choose to verbally disregard it.
"oh," you murmur, averting your eyes from his. "that's ... funny." you can't help but chuckle awkwardly, detesting the awkwardness settled in the air of aomine's car. the car's been in park for a while now, lights overhead since dimmed and the only light providing you a decent look at the man's facial expressions are from the ones lined up on the streets outside.
"funny?" aomine repeats, turning to you. "how so?"
swallowing the lump in your throat, you mumble out, "i just, don't like him like that. 'can't really."
"you can't..." aomine drawls off with a deadpanned tone, eyes squinting slightly as he tries to analyze your words.
"i can't when there's someone else..." you trail off, hiding the deep flush of your face by turning your whole body toward the passenger's side door, in hopes of escaping the car and bidding aomine a good night.
"hey." he gently grabs your forearm before you could push open the door. "look at me." you glance at yourself in the reflection of his tinted window, lips twisting into an embarrassed pout.
you crane your neck around to face him once more, only to raise a brow, feigning nonchalance. "thanks for the ride dai-"
"y/n." his tone makes you shut up immediately and your throat runs dry. "wanna elaborate on that?" he asks knowingly. it's a request you know, but his intonation clearly says that he'll receive your answer regardless.
"not really," you whisper out a little breathlessly. shit, is the car getting warmer or is it truly just the flush of your cheeks?
he simply raises a brow at you as you slouch in his leathered seats, somewhat defeated by his gaze on you.
"i think you should," he chuckles out dryly, bringing his other hand up to brush a strand of hair that fell in front of your face and tucks it behind your ear. instinctively, your head moves forward, further into the palm of his hand to which he gently rubs a thumb along the pad of your cheek.
"i think i shouldn't," you murmur out. your eyes don't stray from his while you lightly nibble at your lower lip. the air suddenly feels thick and you nearly shift in your shift to pull away from aomine's deep stare. for whatever reason, the hazy air has you drawing forward where you both meet just above the gearshift, making his hand slip up your jaw to the side of your neck.
"why not?" he murmurs out, his face so close to yours, his breath fans over your lips.
how do you not sound like a total dork in this intimate, smooth context saying, i think it's funny because it's not kise i like, it's you, my strictly platonic friends with benefits?
well, if you can't say it, might as well show it, right?
so, you inhale deeply before seizing your lips with his. you bring your hands around the dark necktie he's wearing, crinkling it between your fist and tugging him closer to you, deepening the kiss.
aomine immediately reciprocates, bringing your face between both of his large hands, tilting your head slightly. you can't tell if he's reciprocating because he understands your message or he's just so accustomed to kissing you like this; either way, you're not complaining.
it seems to get sloppier as more time passes, evident by your restlessness. you hum into his mouth, hands going up to grip at the short hands behind his ears, tugging slightly.
in one swift movement, he jerks his seat back, as far back as possible to allow more room, and greedily guides you over the console to plop you on his lap. your lips never separate, only to release a breathy chuckle at the squeak you make when your knee clumsily hits the top of the gearshift on your way over.
you settle your lower back against the bottom of the steering wheel, careful not to trigger the car horn, separating your face from his in order to reach for the buttons along the front of his shirt, having pulled off his tie already. aomine chases your lips anyway, leaning forward to press open-mouthed kisses along the side of your mouth, trailing down your jaw and neck.
"y'so pretty," he says, though it's muffled from his contact on your skin. "my pretty."
his hands grasp at your waist, pulling you flush against him now that you're finished unbuttoning his shirt, pressing you down firmer against his dress pants, unmistakably on the bulge that's his boner.
"shouldn't we go inside?" you mumble, quickly looking side to side, out the windows of his car in case of any onlookers.
"need you now." is all he answers, no inclination to let go of you anytime soon. "besides, tinted windows." he says, lightly knocking against the glass, easing your concerns. it's also rather late, so the chances of someone catching you - however that could happen - are relatively low.
he peels the flimsy lace straps straps of your dress, a short floral one aomine decides he likes, down your arms, no bother letting you pull out your arms. he pulls down the front of your dress, eliciting a gasp from you at his eagerness, freeing your breasts. whatever warm air you were mentally complaining about earlier must've been in your head because your nipples pebble nearly immediately.
he returns to your lips, hands drifting upward to cup and grab at your breasts, smiling against the kiss when you croon and sigh into his mouth.
your fingers tangle through his dark locks as he begins dipping his head lower and lower down your chest before reaching the valley between your breasts. he's particularly gentle with this area, placing chaste kisses along the domes, but he's merciless with your nipples. his fingers roll around one while his mouth latches the other, tongue swirling around the bud and teeth pulling at it, making you throw your neck back as breathy moans escape you.
you press down firmer against him as he gives the other nipple the same love, rolling your hips against his front, begging for any sort of friction between your clothed core and his.
receiving your message loud and clear, he detaches himself, forming a line of spit connecting your bud and his lips.
"daiki," you breathe out desperately. "i want you."
"yeah?" he asks, shuffling out of his dress shirt, now slightly sheer with sweat, allowing you a full view of his torso and upper body. your eyes ogle his arms, tan and toned, muscles of his biceps bulging as he holds you. your eyes drift to the tatted sleeve across his entire left arm, memories of all the times you've grasped and scratched ta it while he was under and over you in similar situations – well, maybe not so similar since this was the first time you've fucked in his car.
normally aomine would tease you, continuing to ask how bad you want him, but seeing you like this: glassy-eyed look, splayed out just for him in the dim lights of the streetlights outside his car; only he gets to see you like this.
and fuck, he loves that.
"'want you, too," he settles on, pressing his lips to yours once more, lifting you by the ass to hike up your dress up your hips where is bunches at your waist, meeting with the top of your dress. meanwhile, you busy yourself, blindly feeling around his crotch area for the button and zipper of his dress pants until finding them.
no wonder car sex is usually done in the back seat, you can't help but think as you watch aomine shove down his pants enough to allow enough room for his cock to spring free. there's hardly any room up here.
"y/n, you can't-"
"s'okay," you slur, leveling yourself over his standing cock, only pushing your panties, a pretty pink lacy pair you'd much rather save than risk getting ripped off, to the side, readying to lower yourself. "'need your dick."
"you're not prepped." aomine grunts when his head brushes over your entrance. "it'll hurt." he can't help but let worry seep into his tone, another indication that what he feels for you is beyond more than a fuck buddy relationship.
"it's okay," you repeat anyway, mind too foggy to back down. "just go slow."
aomine can't argue with that, not when you sound so firm and stubborn while literally hovering just over him. grasping at your hips, he aids you in sinking down on his dick, making him seethe at the tight fit.
your arms wrap around his broad shoulders, tucking your head into his neck, damp with sweat but your don't mind.
"i got you," aomine coos, rubbing your back soothingly. "just let me know when to move."
it's when he's caring like this, a stark contrast than how he shows off to other people, that gets your stomach doing somersaults and heart rate going erratic.
you don't know how long you're sat like that, eyes shut as you grow accustomed to the stretch of his dick, it could be seconds, minutes. after a small while, you lift your head from his shoulder. "okay, i'm good, you can start moving."
he simply nods down at you, eyes darkened, yet still showing that same fondness he usually has when you're this close and intimate, gently wiping some sweat on your forehead with the side of his hand before bringing it back to your hips. slowly, while gripping at your hips firmly, he lifts you up before dropping you back down, in addition to thrusting himself up into you.
soon enough, the only sounds heard in the car are the slapping of wet skin and the moans and guttural groans coming from the two of you. fog sticks to the glass of the car windows, darkening the lighting inside the car even further.
you use his shoulders as leverage while you bounce above him, meanwhile his teeth clash and glade along your throat, most likely littering love marks. his hands have slid down to your ass, squeezing and kneading at the fat of it as he guides you up and down his shaft.
"so good," you chant out, so often, it may be the only words you can say.
"made f'me," aomine grunts, speeding up his pace when he feels the knot in his stomach begin to tighten. "all for me."
"for... you," you affirm, mind foggier with lust than before. "only for you. all for you." you're babbling at this point, words you can't filter but not necessarily untrue.
"i'm close," he warns, making you nod profusely as if iterating you are, too. "you gonna cum? want you to cum 'round my cock."
"mhm, mhm!" you hum, losing yourself in his relentless pace.
it's a prior conversation that made aomine known to the fact that your on the pill, something you'd drilled into him the first night you slept together when he'd asked where he should release.
"you're so pretty like this, f'me. mine," he blurts, watching the area where your pussy meets his dick, disappearing and reappearing with every thrust.
"yours!"
"love this pussy." after some sloppy thrusts upwards, no doubt from him chasing his high, he lets out a deep groan, cock twitching inside you as warm ropes of cum paint your walls. "i love you."
aomine doesn't stop, however, with a new mission to let you finish. he continues to thrust into you, riding through his orgasm as he aids you in chasing yours. he bounces you up and down more firmly than before, focusing on pressure instead of speed. tears stream down your cheeks, mascara probably running under your eyes.
"c'mon baby, cum for me," he urges.
that seems to do the job because with one final jerk of his hips upward, you freeze above him, shaking as your orgasm takes over. your limp on his lip, muscles aching as a clearish-white ring of cum settles around the base of aomine's dick.
he carefully lifts you off his softened dick, plopping you on his thighs and continues to hold you close in his arms, warm hands gently rubbing at the flesh of your ass and hips where his probably brutal grip was. "you okay?"
you nod against him, bringing a hand up to trace absentmindedly along his chest. it isn't until you're clearer in the head that you've registered his words, shyly averting your gaze from his.
did he mean that? or was it an in the moment thing?
"dai," you murmur quietly.
"yeah?" he asks hoarsely, tilting his head down in attempt to meet your gaze.
"you um, said something before," you trail off, hoping you wouldn't have to outright repeat it in case it causes awkwardness within the small space of his car.
aomine knows exactly what you're talking about. although what he said was amidst being balls deep in you with nothing but you and his high on his mind, he was completely honest in saying them.
he could either run away from it, claiming it as a slip of the tongue accident that he didn't really mean in hopes of preserving your strict fuck buddy relationship, or he could risk it all; risk that you don't feel the same yet still come clean about his own feelings.
when it came to you, aomine has the urge to be nothing but truthful.
"i meant it," he answers seriously. "i know what we have is strictly physical but if i'm being honest i think i've loved you since college but i was too dumb or stubborn to admit it to myself."
you release a breath you don't realize you've been holding, finally gaining the courage to look up and face him.
he looks away from you this time, choosing to glance at the fogged up windows. "it's alright if you don't feel the same, just thought i'd-"
you don't let him continue beyond that, quickly pecking his lips to cut him off. when he averts his gaze back to you, your lips curl up into a small smile. "i love you, too."
he smiles at that, a genuine, happy one albeit tired from the prior engagement, and leans his forehead against yours. it's a moment before he mutters, "it's getting pretty sticky, right? we should head inside."
"yeah," you quickly agree, hastily fixing your dress to look the least bit presentable for anyone who may be in your apartment's lobby.
the two of you step out of the car, sighing in the much cooler night air contrasting aomine's car's warm, sex-ridden air. "and dai?" you ask as he shuts his car door.
"hm?"
"if you were just jealous of kise, y'coulda just said so." a knowing grin curls up your lips as you face aomine. he only deadpans at you for a mere moment before pressing a kiss to your temple with a low chuckle, hinting that whatever happened at dinner no longer concerns him.

Not so Subtle- Aomine x fem!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: April 8th, 2024
Description: Hiii omg could you write something for Aomine Daiki? Female reader, tall, large chest and midsize pretty please 🙏🏽 Ok, so it would take place after Seirin's win of the Winter Cup (so he's less of an asshole, but still yk). New girl student, settling in really good, she's pretty, funny, confident and witty. So he can only like, like her. They banter a lot and get friends really fast, fall in love, yadayada. Summed up: friends to lover, female/tall/witty/large chest/midsize reader OH! Bonus if you can make a scene with Kagami showing some interest in her.
Notes: This work was recovered in conjunction with an anonymous researcher, we thank them for their contribution. I had a ton of fun writing this! The reader's physical appearance doesn't come up much, but as I was writing i considered her to be around 5'10" so she was slightly taller than Momoi and slightly shorter than Aomine. Also, reader's conversation with Kagami can be interpreted as having visited or being from America.

Starting at a new school halfway through the year is a terrible experience. The easiest way to make new friends is to bond over being in a new environment, having few to no friends, and the stress of exams. Showing up in January skips over all of that and leaves you to make new friends with your own social skills.
“Hi! I’m L/n Y/n, can I join you guys for lunch?”
“Hi! I’m L/n Y/n, can I be on your team today?”
“Oh, hey, you walk home this way too? I’m L/n Y/n.”
Y/n has no idea why her parents were so worried about starting her in a new school so late in the year. This was easy. Sure not everyone she talked with ended up being her friend, but she’d somehow ended up involved with the basketball team.
Scratch that, she knew exactly how she’d wound up as one of the basketball team’s managers.
“Y/n-chan!” Momoi squeals, through herself at the other woman’s back.
Momoi’s arms wrap around Y/n’s shoulders and the woman leans forward so that Momoi is laying on her back as they both laugh. When Y/n stands back up Momoi carefully drops back to the floor and links their arms together.
“Sa-chan, welcome back. Over your cold?”
“Mhm.”
The two continued over to the gym. Momoi was practically leaning against Y/n with her head on the taller woman’s shoulder as she complained about the last few days.
“Dai-chan didn’t even visit me! Let’s see how he likes it when I don’t visit him next time he’s sick. He probably wasn’t even practicing,” she grumbled.
“Hate to break it to you but he was.”
“Of course he was, seriously, I thought losing to Seirin-”
“No, I mean he was practicing.”
Momoi stopped, hand outstretched to the gym door, and turned to face Y/n. The annoyed pout she’d been sporting during her rant morphed into a wide smile.
“Really?! I’m so glad.”
Y/n laughed, reaching past Momoi and opening the door.
“I mean, I had to hunt him down yesterday because he skipped class and fell asleep, but ya he's been-”
The squeaking sound of shoes on the gym floor, followed by a dunk and yelling cut her off. The managers looked over to the hoop on the far end of the court and found Aomine being chewed out by Wakamatsu. Aomine’s attention, however, was drawn towards the women as the sound of the door closing echoed through the gym. He waved, turning Wakamatsu’s attention away from him and allowing him to slip away to the stage.
“Momoi, welcome back, are you feeling better?”
“Much, thank you!”
“Aomine!” Y/n yelled, stopping the forward half way across the gym. “Apologize.”
“I didn’t do shit!”
“That’s the problem!” Wakamatsu complained. “You absolutely could have stopped that dunk.”
“Dai-chan-”
“I wouldn’t worry about it.” All eyes turned to Y/n who’d taken a seat on the stage. “I mean, I’m sure that red haired dude from Seirin would love to get some dunks past him, Aomine’s just being considerate.”
“Hah?”
The rest of the team turned away, covering their mouths, to stifle their laughter as Aomine’s face visibly twitched in annoyance. Momoi cleared her throat and took a deep breath.
“Dai-chan, practice seriously. Seirin will be here soon.”
It was still weird for the team to see Aomine listen to people. Sure he dragged his feet plenty, in this case literally as he made his way back to Wakamatsu and the rest of the team, but since the Winter cup he was seemingly more open to suggestions. And when suggestions didn’t work, the new manager seemed adept at getting under his skin enough to make him want to do whatever it was he needed to.
Momoi joined Y/n on the stage and pulled her clipboard out of her bag.
“He likes you,” Momoi whispered as she flipped through papers to find her notes on Seirin.
“Not this again.”
“He listens to you, he doesn’t even listen to me!”
“He listens to you.”
“Only if he already wants to do whatever it is, remember last week when we were studying? He tried to take a nap and he only went back to studying after you asked.”
“Okay, he likes me… as a friend that he acknowledges won’t deal with his bullshit.”
Momoi rolls her eyes and hands Y/n the clipboard before resting her chin on her shoulder to see the paper.
“I’ll prove it to you,” Momoi muttered. “Alright, so…”
As the team got some last minute practice in, Momoi gave Y/n a last minute crash course on Seirin.
Just as they were getting to the bench players, Momoi’s phone rang.
“Tetsu!” She squealed as she accepted the call and slid off the stage. The team stopped practicing and Wakamatsu got everyone to start cleaning up. “How did you guys get lost?”
“Yo.” Y/n looked to her right to find Aomine leaning against the stage. He slid a piece of paper over to her feet, the number 74 was written and circled in red marker. “Thanks.”
“Seventy-four, nice.” She picked up the test and gave it a quick once over. “Impressive, you didn’t get a zero on any of the questions.”
“Ya, well I had an okay teacher.”
“Sa-chan got a ninety and I got a ninety-eight, so you own us ice-cream today.”
Rolling his eyes, Aomine snatched back his test and stuffed it in his bag.
“Sorry we’re late!” A chorus of voices called out.
The two first years turned to find the Seirin basketball team, being led in by Momoi, taking their shoes off. Momoi skipped over to her friends and grabbed Y/n’s hands, pulling her from the stage.
“Come on, there’s someone you need to meet!”
“Alright, I’m coming. We’ll talk more after the game, Aomine!”
---
Tōō won, ending twenty points ahead of Seirin. Not unexpectedly as Kuroko’s misdirection was completely useless and Kiyoshi was gone. What was unexpected was the way Aomine seemed to be targeting Kagami, whether that be scoring through Seirin’s ace or shutting down as many of his scoring attempts as possible. During the break after the first half, Wakamtsu had chewed the ace out for showing off.
“We’re winning, aren’t we?”
“This isn’t about winning, it’s about getting better!”
Aomine had just shrugged.
“I think he’s jealous,” Momoi whispered after the players had left at the end of the break.
“We’re in the middle of a game.”
“I think it’s because you were talking with Kagami.”
“You were the one who said I should meet him,” Y/n huffed.
“I had to test a theory.”
“What theory?”
Momoi glanced over at Y/n, but was cut off by the coach clearing his throat.
Seirin headed out almost immediately after the game, while the Tōō players cleaned the gym. This time, Y/n walked them back to the bus stop so that they wouldn't get lost again. When she got back, she found Aomine sitting on the steps with her bag.
“Where’s Sa-chan?”
“She left, said she was feeling kind of tired and wanted a rain check on her ice-cream.”
Aomine handed Y/n her bag, and the two made their way to the school entrance.
“No post-match debriefing today?”
“I have no idea, everyone was being weird as fuck.”
Y/n nodded slowly. It was a logical conclusion that Momoi had introduced her to Kagami to make Aomine jealous, and that she’d convinced the team to clear out before she got back so that they’d be alone. Skipping ahead, Y/n turned around to face Aomine and kept walking backwards. It didn’t seem like they were being watched.
“Speaking of weird as fuck-oof.”
“Wall.”
“Fuck you,” Y/n grumbled, making Aomine laugh as she stepped around the wall and on to the sidewalk. “What was up during today’s game?”
“What about it?”
“Sa-chan thinks you’re jealous.”
“Tch, jealous of what?”
Y/n shrugged. “Race you to the convenience store!”
“Hey!”
Obviously Y/n didn’t plan to win. Aomine pulled ahead of her almost immediately, once he recovered from the surprise, and maintained a decent lead to arrive at the store just before her without leaving her completely in the dust. He laughed as she finally arrived and immediately collapsed against the side of the building, trying to catch her breath.
“So, what’s my prize?” He grins, bracing an arm above her and leaning in so they were eye level.
She raised her index finger to his face.
“Would you like to cash your prize in now or save up?”
“Why did Satsuki say I was jealous?”
“That’s what you want your prize to be?”
Y/n straightened up and joined Aomine in leaning sideways against the wall.
“Answer the question or you’re buying ice-cream.”
“Ah.”
Pushing off the wall, Y/n grabbed the front of Aomine’s shirt and pulled him into the store after her. The two made a B-line for the frozen section at the back.
“She thought you’d be jealous I was talking with Kagami,” Y/n shrugged, picking up Aomine’s favorite popsicle and her own.
The sound of the freezer closing filled the store, and the buzzing of the lights seemed incredibly loud in the silence that followed. Y/n looked over at Aomine to find him staring at her. She held out his popsicle, waving in front of his face when he didn’t immediately take it.
“What were you two talking about?”
“Huh?”
“You and Kagami. Why was he blushing?”
“Oh my god you’re jealous,” Y/n mumbled.
Aomine grabbed his popsicle and pushed the back of her head as he walked towards the counter. A wide grin spread across Y/n’s face as she chased after him, setting her treat next to his.
“We were talking about America and he was blushing because I said it was cute that he and his brother have matching rings.”
“Don’t call him cute.”
“I didn’t call him cute, I called the idea of having matching rings cute.”
“I could get us matching rings,” Aomine muttered.
The sound of the convenience store bell nearly drowned his voice out as they left the store, but Y/n was right on his heels and barely caught it.
“Sa-chan also said you like me.”
Y/n ran right into Aomine’s back when he stopped suddenly. She watched the back of his head as she unwrapped her treat and started eating.
“I think it’s funny that everyone thinks I haven’t figured it out.” Aomine’s shoulders tense up. “I mean, I wouldn’t say you’re subtle when you look at my boobs.”
Y/n gently kicks the back of Aomine’s heel, urging him to keep walking. When he didn’t move she sidestepped him and started walking in front of him.
When he didn’t keep walking with her, she turned around.
He didn’t look stunned, definitely flushed, but he looked impatient– like he’d been waiting for her to turn around. Y/n inclined her head.
“You could’ve said something.”
“I could’ve,” Y/n shrugged as she walked back up to Aomine. “But I wanted to see the great Aomine grovel, just a bit.”
He frowned.
“What does that mean?”
“It means you need to ask me out.”
“Go out with me.”
Y/n sighed. “That wasn’t a question.”
“Nope, now let’s go get burgers.”
Aomine opened his popsicle and wrapped his free arm around Y/n’s shoulder as the two headed down the street.

Warning: Self Doubt, Bullying (kinda)
Tetsuya Kuroko
👤 Literally no one on the team knows how you got together, they literally watched as you often communicated without words and read each other's faces. 👤 You would have had to have been one of the other miracles siblings, otherwise you would both have walked past each other everyday and never said a single word to each other. 👤 Kuroko is very much a trusting person so you didn’t have to be going to the same school to continue dating and honestly he never worried about what you were doing he trusted you wholeheartedly. 👤 The only thing that he worried about was that he wasn’t there to cheer you on when you found something that you liked, where you were too shy to sign up for clubs that you liked so he’d always go to the first meeting with you to see how you felt. 👤 While Kuroko is quiet he wasn’t necessarily shy so when you found it hard to voice what you wanted or needed, he would come out of nowhere to help you out. 👤 Given the fact that you spend a lot of time on the outside looking in, you always knew where Kuroko was, bonus if you like basketball because you were one of the only people that never lost him on the court. 👤 Holds your hand to remind you that he’s there. 👤 Never asks you to come to his games but he’s happy when he sees you there, you used signs because you're just too shy to scream your praise for him. 👤 He finds you in a crowd and immediately moves to stand next to or behind you, everyone thinks that you are unbelievably cute.
You had come to one of Kuroko’s matches and he gone to get changed, you had gone to seat on a bench away from the large crowd that had gathered to get autographs and talk to the team, you were happy to wait for him while he dealt with the fans. You were scrolling through your phone when a shadow loomed over you, their hand reaching out to grab you and pull you off quickly. “It’s alright, it’s just me.” Kuroko finally said as your eyes found the back of his head. “What are you doing?” You asked. “Come on before they notice.” He said pulling you out of the arena and off down the road. “Are you sure that you should run away from all that?” You asked. “Don’t worry, Taiga loves the attention, there’s only one person that I want to be that close to.” He answered as he pulled you into a restaurant, where he ordered food for the both of you and you sat and talked for a while.
It only took about 10 minutes before his teammates and manager found you “Kuroko there you are! We were worried.” Riko said as waved frantically. Kuroko groaned next to you as a tray was slammed down on the table next to you as an arm wrapped around your shoulder “Hey little mouse, you two lovebirds on a date?” Taiga asked. “If we were you ruined it.” Kuroko grumbled as he linked your hands under the table giving it a reassuring squeeze. “We can just leave if you want, I know they’re all a bit loud for you.” Kuroko mumbled and you looked at him and smiled. “It’s okay.” You said softly as you moved a little closer to Kuroko. “Say the word and we’ll leave.” He whispered as the rest of the team sat around you as Riko and Hyuga tried to get the rest of the team to sit down, shut up and eat like normal humans.

Taiga Kagami
🐅 Taiga does see you around but it takes a little while for him to actually take notice of you, he immediately thinks that you are afraid of him and as he always does he rushes in to interrogate you. 🐅 You were alone when he found you and demanded to know why you were afraid of him, unfortunately the natural aggression and his stature caused a stuttered reply about being shy. 🐅 Que a flustered apology as he scratched the back of his head as he stuttered through his sentences and exited quickly. 🐅 He made sure to wave at you when he saw you after that, you were shocked but it became second nature to shyly wave back to him in the halls and before you knew it you were spending time together outside of school. 🐅 You don’t know when the relationship shifted but Taiga did ask you out, he didn’t make a big deal of the first date, he didn’t want to make you uncomfortable but dates become easier the longer that your dating. 🐅 He’s loud enough for the both of you so if you need to say something then he becomes your voice. 🐅 He moved at your pace, whatever it would be, he’d never force PDA but he’s not against it. 🐅 Your biggest supporter, he was the one that you could hear cheering you on if you were into sports or any time of performance art, if not he’ll always tell you how proud of you he is. 🐅 He savoured the calm that you brought with you were the only person who could calm him down and get him to think straight sometimes.
Taiga was having a bad game, it was unusual for Riko to call on people from the crowd but she had seen the way that you calmed him down in practice matches, in less than a second and they went on to win, she needed that now. “(Y/N) you're up!” Riko said as Koganei led you down to the team. “M-me?” You asked. “What…” “Just do what you always do.” Riko muttered as she pushed you towards the brooding Taiga. “W-what’s going on T?” You asked, jumping at the loud cheer from the crowd, realistically you knew that they weren’t even looking at you they were all focused on the game still in full swing but the moment that you flinched Taiga took your hand leading you into the secluded hall way that lead back into the changing room. “What are you doing down here?” He asked, “It's too loud down here.” “Riko wanted me to come down here to talk to you.” You answered. “But this makes you uncomfortable.” He said taking your face in his hands and gently running his thumbs over them. “I don’t like seeing you like this, you know you have to be careful if you want to be able to jump like you do.” You mumbled and he smiled leaning forward to rest his head against yours. “Doesn’t mean you gotta be uncomfortable.” Taiga said as he pressed a kiss to your temple. “Then promise that you’ll be careful and think everything through please.” You pleaded and he looked at the game and then you. “I’ll try.” He nodded with a smile, despite the fact that the game was only 6 feet away from you he felt like it was your world and there was nothing that could change that. “You have a game to win.” You said softly as you pointed towards the court and he leaned forward a smirk on his face. “You bet I have.” Taiga said before pressing a kiss to your lips and jogging back to the bench where he was begging Riko to put him back in.

Shintaro Midorima
♋ You have Takao to thank for this partnership, since you were put next to him for most classes he adopted you as his introvert before he even knew Midorima. ♋ Takao literally took you everywhere, so you ended up at practice with him most of the time and met Midorima. ♋ Midorima drew a lot of attention to himself with the antic that he pulled but he taught you a lot about being comfortable in your own skin, now that didn’t mean that you were shouting from the rooftops or anything but it did mean that you were happy with the fact that you didn’t talk as much as other people and that was okay. ♋ Midorima became a silent guard dog, watched people’s behaviour and the way that they talked to or about you, correcting anything that made you uncomfortable or upset. ♋ Would bring your lucky item to school with him (by bring I mean get Takao to find it wherever it might be for him to hand to you when they meet up with you). ♋ Takao of course was the one to realise that you liked Midorima and gently guided him in the direction of his own realisation (literally had to spell it out to him, Midorima is academically smart and socially stupid). ♋ When you guys actually started dating there was a lot that you had to figure out, mostly about boundaries. ♋ Though he might grumble he’ll help you with anything you ask him to because he knows how hard you find it to actually ask for help. ♋ You guys are like an old married couple, he holds the door open for you, forehead kisses and hand holding.
Takao had watched you in your last couple of classes and it seemed that there was something bothering you, he didn’t know what it was and everytime he asked you what was wrong you’d brush him off and tell him that it was nothing. When you didn’t show up to lunch that day he decided to talk to Midorima about it. “Hey is something bothering (Y/N)?” Takao asked. “What?” Midorima asked. “Well they just seem a little distracted and they won’t tell me what’s going on… Plus they never usually keep us waiting.” Takao explained. “Yeah they’re apparently at the library.” Midorima answered with a shrug. “Well will you just check on them some time?” Takao asked, Midorima would have dismissed any other request but considering it was to check on you he gave a non committal grunt instead before standing up and disappearing out of the cafeteria in search of you.
You were surrounded by books as you hurriedly wrote notes about something, Midorima watched you for a second from where he was leaning against the bookcase “what are you worrying about?” He asked softly as he walked towards you. “I need to pass this exam, this is the third time that I’m taking it.” You mumbled as you looked over the book again groaned after your finger traced a sentence three times. “Why didn’t you just ask for help?” He asked. “This is my problem, I don't need to bother anyone else with it.” You explained as you waved him off. “You aren’t bothering anyone, what are you studying?” He asked, you tried to deter him but he just reached over you and grabbed the book that you were looking at and nodded before closing it. “I can help you with this after practice today.” “Hey!” You said quietly, Midorima would have laughed if you were alone, he’d never heard you raise your voice even a little and you trying to sound intimidating made him want to laugh. “I mean I’ll help you later, it doesn’t matter what you need help with, ask me.” He said. “But-” “You're the only person that gets the privilege so use it.” He ordered pushing his glasses up his nose “now come on, you need to eat something before our next class.” “T-thank you.” You mumbled playing with your fingers as he linked your hand and pulled you out of the library.

Daiki Aomine
💤 Again someone else was the reason that you met Aomine, Momoi befriended you and dragged you to practise. 💤 From the moment that Aomine saw you he thought that you were cute and let's be honest he thought the personality was a jackpot. 💤 He took every opportunity to tease you, given his height he’d just lean over you, crowd you into a corner or lean down to your ear to whisper something usually “this making you nervous?” 💤 It didn’t take him long to realise that he wanted more than just the teasing and actually asked Momoi to help him. 💤 There was a lot of work involved in him getting you to believe that he wanted you but he did. 💤 Aomine has and always will be a tease so that often meant that he’d come out of nowhere to press kisses to whatever part of your skin he could reach. 💤 Always steal whatever food or drink you have and if you try to stop him he’ll bite your fingers if they’re close enough to his mouth. 💤 He honestly loves to show you off, especially if he knows that there was someone around that liked you. 💤 Momoi sent you to go and get Aomine when he was skipping out on practice which always resulted in him getting something that he wanted from you in return.
You climbed up the ladder catching sight of your lazy boyfriend, who seemed to be taking a nap. “Dai?” You asked softly, you saw his eyes flicker open as they moved to you. “Was just dreaming of you.” He smirked as he put his hand out towards you, you rolled your eyes as you took his hand letting him lead you closer sitting up at the same time that he directed you to sit straddled over his waist. “She sent you, didn't she?” “They just want you to show up for practice.” You said softly as he pressed a kiss to your cheek, hoping to distract you. “You know they send you here because I can’t say no to you.” He mumbled face now buried in the crook of your neck. “Can you please just go to practice?” You asked. “Mm if you do something for me.” He muttered. “What?” He asked. “I’ll tell you when I want it.” He said. It seemed like a terrible deal but it was probably the only thing that could get him to go to practice. “Let’s go.” He smiled tapping your thighs for you to stand, you watched as he jumped down from the small heightened part of the roof, you often forget that he was an athlete with the amount of time that he spent lazing around, he turned back to you “come on beautiful, I’ve got you.” He helped you down before walking towards the fire exit with your hands connected.
When you got to the gym, they had finished their warm ups “oh! You got him!” Momoi cheered and you nodded. “Yeah.” You nodded. “Thanks (Y/N), you're the best.” Wakamatsu said, you blushed as you nodded at him, and Aomine grabbed your arm. “About that favour.” He mumbled pulling you back by the waist holding you close “I want a kiss.” “R-right now?” You asked. “Mhm.” He hummed leaning closer “In front of everyone?” You asked. “Mhm.” He hummed again before pressing a kiss on your lips making a show of kissing you in front of the rest of the team before pulling away still close to you “now go wait with Momoi I’m not done with my favour.” “B-but you only asked for one.” You frowned. “Wait for me.” He winked as he jogged off to the team and Momoi pulled you over to where she was sitting to watch them practise.

Ryota Kise
📷 Kise was and still is a sweet boy, he saw everyone as they were and he never treated anyone as if they were below him despite the fact that he was a model. 📷 He got a lot of attention and you assumed that meant that he had no idea who you were because you faded into the background easily. 📷 Kise noticed you after you bumped into him, he started to see you around more and more, he would never get you to say anything but you would smile and wave before someone else demanded his attention. 📷 He decided that he wasn’t going to let anyone deter him one day and made his way over to you introducing himself and asking for your name, it didn’t take long for him to make a friend out of you, though it did take a little longer to convince you to go on a date with him. 📷 Once you became official, there were very few people that knew about it, he made a statement to say that he was no longer single but he made sure that no one knew your name. 📷 At school you guys seemed like good friends but when you got some time alone, Kise never stopped pressing kisses all over your face or any other skin that he could find. 📷 Kise never forced you to do anything that you didn’t want to do, he respected your personality, he did love it after all. 📷 Likes to spend time with you in one of your bedrooms just talking especially after having a tough day. 📷 Take on your conversation if he can see you getting uncomfortable or flustered.
You had been with Kise for months now and while you were happy there was one thing that was bothering you. Kise had kept your relationship a secret in the hopes that it would make you more comfortable and in all honesty it did. However over the last couple of weeks you had noticed how close people were getting to him like, the fact that no one knew how he was dating meant that they could still try to get his attention. You hadn’t said anything to Kise. You were sure that it was your own jealousy but Kasamatsu, who you had become friends with since dating Kise, had noticed a difference in you.
“What’s bothering you?” Katamatsu asked. “Huh? Nothing. I’m fine.” You answered as you continued writing notes at your desk. “You're a terrible liar.” Katamatsu glared at you and watched as your eyes moved down so that you weren’t actually looking at him anymore. “I’m just working through some things. It's fine, nothing to worry about.” You said playing with your finger. “Have you talked to Kise about it?” He asked. “He doesn’t need to know about it.” You argued and he nodded. “So it has something to do with Kise?” He asked. “He didn’t do anything wrong!” You said quickly, you knew that Kasamatsu often looked for the worst in Kise even if they were friends. “Okay… So what’s going on?” He asked. “Ust people seem to be gettin closer to Kise you know, people who are probably better suited to him you know…” You explained. “You're worried?” He asked. “He doesn’t make me feel like I should be but I am.” You admitted. “Hey Kasamatsu can I talk to (Y/N) for a second?” Kise’s voice made you jump, as you gritted your teeth with your eyes closed, neither of the boys said anything but you heard them change places and then Kasamatsu left. “Please look at me.” Kise pleaded and it took a minute but you finally looked up at him, he smiled softly. “Why didn’t you tell me?” You were thankful that he wasn’t going to make you say it again. “I thought it was me… I was trying to think of something that would make this all go away.” You explained “I wanted to have a solution.” “You can’t figure all of this out by yourself.” He said softly, he was careful how loud he talked. “I know…” You answered, he could see the tears in your eyes and he wanted to hug, to comfort you properly but he couldn’t. “I want to hug you.” He mumbled as he looked at the people around you. “You could if you wanted to.” You mumbled. “People will see.” He reminded you and you nodded. “I know.” You answered. “Maybe we can fix everything, I’ll hug you now and later we can talk about a picture to announce you as my girlfriend, if that’s what you want, if you're ready for that.” He suggested coming around the table to pull you into a hug kissing the top of your head. “Yeah, maybe we can.” You mumbled burying your face in his chest relishing in the feeling of him hugging you.

Atsushi Murasakibara
🍬 You were out buying snacks the first time that you had ever interacted with Atsushi, you were trying to decide on what to get and he just leaned over you to grab what he wanted. 🍬 He leant down his voice low and lazy as always, he was right next to your ear as he told you what one you should get, then he was gone. 🍬 You blushed as you caught sight of him walking past the window of the shop but nothing more happened from it. 🍬 At least for you nothing else happened, you assumed that he’d never remember you that is but he noticed you around the school more often. 🍬 One day he saw you, there was a guy around your age leaning over you, he saw that you were uncomfortable, that was enough to have him walking over but when he saw the guy take the food that you had been eating he was ready to go into battle. 🍬 He scared the guy off and then made sure to tell you to protect the snacks before heading off. 🍬 You guys were cute together, everyone thought that you were cute, given the fact that he was the scary kid that no one could approach and you were the sweet innocent student that no one expected him to be interested in. 🍬 Scary dog privileges, he watched you closely and always appeared when you needed him. He hated it when you shared food with other people, he was always worse when you did that. 🍬 The moment that you both seemed to remember most was the moment that you properly fist met.
It had been after he had saved you from the guy who had attempted to steal your food, you started to leave snacks in his locker or desk, at first he thought that he had left them there by accident and was pleasantly surprised but when it became regular he wanted to figure out who was doing it. Atsushi waited one day he was across the hall watched the door to his classroom and then he saw you, you weren’t in his class, he walked towards the other door looking in to see you slipping the sweet treat into his desk, he snuck up behind you so when you stepped back you bumped right into him. “What are you doing there little mouse?” He asked. “I-I um…” You didn’t seem to want to admit what you were doing. “Are you the one leaving all those snacks for me?” He asked. “You helped me before, I’m just saying thank you.” You answered stepping away from him but given his height he still seemed imposing, so close. “You could have just said thank you” He smirked, his desk was against the wall so when he moved both his hands to rest on the desks on either side of him you had nowhere else to go. “I-I’m not very good at talking…” You explained. “Mm, this is the first time that I’ve heard your voice.” He smirked. “How about you just give me my thank you gifts in person and we’ll leave it at that?” “In person? Why?” You asked, he just smirked as he reached around you grabbing the snack that you had hidden in his desk and winked. “I got to go meet a friend, thanks, next time give it to me in person okay?” He asked before you could answer and he disappeared out of the classroom leaving you with a blush on your face paired with a smile.

Seijuro Akashi
👑 Your parents knew each other, that was how you ended up meeting however, you never made him feel like he needed to be anyone except for himself. 👑 You guys would seek each other out when you knew that both your parents would be at an event together. 👑 You knew each other well and that was why you were one of the first people to notice the personality change and you told him as much but you still didn’t leave his side. 👑 Akashi made sure that you were looked after at school, even with everything that was going on with him, you were one of the most important people in his life and did not plan on leaving you. 👑 You didn’t treat him any differently with the personality change in fact, you stuck closer than you ever had before, you never really said anything but you were there if he needed you. 👑 Akashi would always ask if you had eaten before providing you with something if you hadn’t. 👑 You congratulated him on every win and attended every game no matter what was happening the next day. 👑 His eyes found you in the crowd every time, his eyes landing on you where he gave a subtle nod in appreciation and you gave a shy wave. 👑 He didn’t notice how important you were until the end of the match with Kuroko when he finally accepted everything but he didn’t wait to tell you.
You were sitting in the crowd, you were happy that Kuroko had managed to win, you had been friends with him before you all went your separate ways but you were more devastated for Akashi who was facing his first loss, you attempted to find him on field and realised that he wasn’t there, he was with Kuroko minutes ago you looked away for a second and then he was gone, you hoped that he wasn’t taking it too hard, you stood from where you were sitting turning to leave but came face to face with Akashi. “Oh! Sorry I didn’t know that you were there.” You said taking a step back to put some space between you. “Yeah I was looking for you.” He said “Glad I caught you before you left.” “Is there something that you need?” You asked. “Actually there is.” He said softly, you waited for him to continue talking, you were expecting some kind of favour like taking something for him, or delivering something for him but what came out of his mouth was something very different “Will you go on a date with me?” “M-me?” You asked, looking down at your hands. “Yes you.” He laughed, it had been so long since you had heard him laugh, you missed it, it brought a blush to your cheeks and it only worsened when he lifted your chin to look at him “what do you say?” “U-um I would love to but are you sure?” You asked. “What do you mean?” He asked. “You could probably have anyone here, are you sure that you want me?” You asked, he hated that you seemed confident in that one sentence, that you were sure that he would pick someone else so instead he leaned forward, the smile now softer and almost sad. “I’m sure.” He answered before pressing his lips to yours in a long awaited kiss, one hand cradling your cheek and the other around your waist to pull you closer to him. “Come on.” He pulled you after him ignoring the staring, focused solely on you as he led you to the perfect place for your first date.

Aomine’s a self-renowned bastard, and every part of him takes pride in pissing people off and stunning them with just how incredibly talented he is, despite his lackadaisical nature
They don’t know how much he truly loves basketball, and how it’s been the only thing he was ever passionate about—hence why the lack of competition made him slowly lose interest
However, what they don’t know is that another part of his heart is completely and utterly owned by his partner
They’d met in their last year of high school, both of them having applied to the same university and attending the exam together
For once in his life, someone’s presence felt large enough for his curiosity to be piqued; he knew that only brilliant people applied for that university and for only one of two reasons: academic excellence, or immense talent for sport
Given the way they carried themselves with a straight back, hard-set eyes, and assurance in their gait, he could easily tell that they were an athlete just like him
He found himself introducing himself to them, his cocky attitude as much of an annoyance to them as it was intriguing, and they seemed engaged in the conversation
One thing led to another, and by the time they’d both started university, Aomine was sure of the fact that he wanted to get together with them; a feeling he’d had for the first time in his life
The feeling only grew stronger with the beginning of the academic year, as he saw just how incredible they are on court
He’d only been passing by the sports complex when he’d seen them mid-practice, muscles flexed and tensed as they received every ball with unwavering concentration on their face
Man could’ve sworn he’d fallen in love right then and there; they’re smart, hot, fun to be around, AND ridiculously talented?!
He’d have to be stupid to let the chance slip through his fingers, so he walked them right up to their flat that night, asking them if they had the time to squeeze in over the weekend between their practices
Arching their brow, they chuckled, understanding that this was his way of asking them out, and quickly agreed to a lunch date after their respective practices
Much to his surprise, they came to watch his practice that day, smirking and telling him that they were “only returning the favor”, which resulted in a flustered Aomine having gotten caught in the act
A few more dates down the line that surprisingly enough felt less like tense formalities and more like the most comforting way to wind down after the fatigue of aching muscles, they surprised him by being the first to ask him if he would be their boyfriend
Once again rendered (pleasantly) speechless by their courage and daring, he felt like putty in their hands and couldn’t have possibly agreed faster
Given his… inclinations and preferences, he’d be pretty insufferable at first with his erotic magazines and absolutely horrible pervy comments
But after visiting them at practice a couple of times, he soon realized that he had no need for that when he’s got a ridiculously attractive partner, working out and sweating in front of him whenever he has the time to see them—and yes, he makes lewd commentary as he deems fitting, earning a fond roll of their eyes
In fact, that’s the very reason he initiated their daily workout plans; part of him genuinely wanted to spend time with them as they exercised side by side, while the other part of him reveled in the sight of them panting, their skin glistening and their eyes darkened with focus
To be honest, that hardworking quality of theirs had to be the single sexiest thing in the world to him
When it comes to games, Aomine’s their number one supporter, all decked out in matching colors (them being a libero with different colored fits is a perk, since it makes him stand out as their partner by proxy)
He’s the first to cuss at the ref and nearly get kicked out of the stands (multiple times) whenever they make an unfair call
When they get subbed out momentarily during rotations, he’s quick to lean over the stands, grinning wickedly as he whispers malicious words of encouragement in their ear (they’re more like threats to their opponents, to be honest)
If it’s a win, this man’s instantly dragging them out for a drink at a cozy restaurant, celebrating it with their loved ones (though if he had to admit, he much prefers it when they’re on their own)
If it’s a loss, Aomine’s dragging their ass back home for some cuddles he “reluctantly” gives them—even though the barely-perceptible blush on his cheeks says otherwise—and repeatedly reassuring them that he knows them well enough and believes in them wholeheartedly that they would pick themselves back up
When he’s in a particularly romantic mood, he gets Momoe to help him make them matching felt bracelets, just so they could wear them on court; a statement of sorts that they were together
They make sure to lavish him with affections in return whenever it’s his turn to have practice, where they ogle him openly (I mean, who wouldn’t?) and appreciatively tell him as much, which absolutely inflates his ego to unseen-before-heights
The first time they showed up at a game of his, all decked out in his jersey and wearing their matching bracelet, he could’ve sworn he felt a little lightheaded with how dazed that sight made him
It only encourages him to further beat their opponents’ asses, partially because he’s just that fired up, and partially to show off to his lovely partner
And if they happen to kiss him right in front of the stands because his admirers were being all too much and the tiny bit of possessiveness in them had won over?
Well, Aomine had zero qualms about that—in fact, he’d smirk into that kiss and only pull them in closer; the bigger the spectacle the better!

Tetsu
Dodało mu to otuchy.
Jeśli kobieta miała duży biust, to nie widział nic złego w tym, by go podziwiać.
— Hmmm… — Niski pomruk wydobył się z jego gardła. — Co powiesz na jeden na jeden?
Był przekonany, że odmówi. Większość ludzi bała się z nim grać. Jeśli już go widziała, to powinna wyczuć porażkę. Lata ulicznej koszykówki zaszczepiły w nim dzikie instynkty. Rozwinął refleks do wręcz nadludzkiego poziomu.
A on ucieleśniał to podejście.
Miała prawdziwy talent do rzutów.
On jednak widział w jej oczach wolę walki.
Chciał spędzić z nią więcej czasu i lepiej poznać.
— Wpadnę kiedyś obejrzeć twój mecz — rzucił niby od niechcenia.
Powiedział to, skacząc do kosza.
To go zdziwiło. A z taką celnością drużyna z pewnością daleko by zaszła.
— Dlaczego?
— Mówiąc to, wróciła do gry.
— No co? Mówię prawdę!
Potrząsnęła głową i pokozłowała w stronę kosza.
Odgarnęła do tyłu sportowy kucyk.
To zwiastowało kłopoty.
Uderzyła go w ramię.
— No to widzimy się! — Odbiegła zadowolona.
***
Aomine w najlepsze wsuwał burgera i zajadał go frytkami. Chrupiąca bułka, soczyste mięso i jakieś niepotrzebne warzywne dodatki. Ten znajomy smak przywoływał wspomnienia. Do tego jeszcze wielka cola. Pociągnął przez wielką rurkę. Ciemny, zimny i słodki płyn buzował bąbelkami.
Ciemno i cicho.
Kiedyś, gdy tu przychodził, otaczał go gwar.
Czemu w ogóle to zrobił?
Zamarł z burgerem w połowie drogi do ust.
[Reader]. Przyjęła to do świadomości i byli naprawdę niezłymi przyjaciółmi.
A, gdy przeglądał telefon, śledził jej media społecznościowe.
Zostawił ją i Kuroko samych sobie. A potem też zwykłe spotkania i rozmowy. Zaniedbał to wszystko, co razem zbudowali.
Przerażało go, jak sentymentalnie brzmi.
Każdy kozioł, dwutakt, zwód i wsad przestały mieć sens.
Podczas gdy on się wypalił.
A więc naprawdę go rozumiała.
A potem trener złożył mu propozycję.
Chciał, by stała się wystarczająco silna. Spuścił więc wzrok, wracając do jedzenia.
— Zawsze możesz do mnie zadzwonić — dodała i z tymi słowami odeszła.
***
— Jeszcze raz, Tetsu!
Chłopak ponownie źle ustawił ręce. Aomine musiał podejść i je poprawić. Powinien wypchać piłkę sprzed klatki piersiowej, jeśli to miało zadziałać.
Jemu i Kagamiemu.
Rozpierało go szczęście. Koniec z leżeniem na dachu. Teraz wróci do treningu. A kiedy następnym razem spotka kogoś lepszego, wgniecie go w ziemię. Ponownie miał w życiu jakiś cel i to było wspaniałe.
— Mam do ciebie jeszcze jedną prośbę — oznajmił Kuroko, ponownie próbując trafić do kosza.
— Wycelował i rzucił ponownie.
— Przecież wiem. — Daiki ziewnął, oglądając kolejny raz jedno i to samo zagranie.
Ikonka kontaktu mrugała szybko i jasno.
— Tu Aomine.
— Hej, czemu dzwonisz z telefonu Tetsu? Coś się stało? Cicho, dziewczyny.
Albo zrobić to w lepszym momencie?
— Pytanie całkowicie zbiło go z tropu.

Babe
We all know that Daiki hates vegetables, but if you're the one cooking them, that's okay too. 🍅🥦🥕
For this story, I wanted to play a little bit with the theme of expressing your feelings: some people are naturally inclined to share their thoughts, and some people struggle a little bit more, and maybe Valentine's Day is a good opportunity to take an extra step. 💙
I hope you enjoy it,
Vesper
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You have known each other for a long time, but sometimes you still wonder what’s going on in his head.
Especially when he is so quiet and silent.
Today, however, the situation is worse than usual, as he has even offered to help you with the houseworks, without specifying the details of his reward.
The main event is to clean up the black hole he calls the 'drawer of my basketball stuff'.
Daiki's not messy, he's just lazy: he doesn't take the trouble to fold his shirts, uniforms, shorts or hang up his socks but he gets upset when he can't find what he wants to wear, especially if it's for practice or a game. He will chase you around the house yelping like a hungry puppy until you, exhausted by his complaints, plunge your magical hands into that pandemonium of technical clothing and pull out what he wants; each time arousing his amazement and unleashing an exaggerated gratitude that is both sincere and mischievous.
But today is different.
You can tell by the way he follows your instructions without distraction, you can see it in the way he meticulously folds his clothes and places his terry socks in the compartments. He doesn't complain, he doesn't find an excuse to go for his phone, he doesn’t try to lift you and throw you on the bed, claiming a sudden dizziness because of the little attention you're giving him.
He behaves well, very well, that's why you have mixed feelings.
"Are you in the mood for something different for dinner tonight ?" you ask, turning your eyes to his, busy trying to figure out if the arm bands he holds in his hands are the same colour or not.
"Your choice babe, I'm up for anything!" he replies with a smile.
"Veggie burgers and mashed potatoes?" you offer, aware of the avalanche of complaints that will soon overwhelm you. Veggies are a forbidden, dark spell in his vocabulary, especially since it was your revelation that chips are not real food, let alone vegetables.
Daiki blinks and returns your hug, running his big hand down your back before leaning in for a chaste, lip-smacking kiss.
" All right babe, gonna eat veggies if it makes you happy ! " he sighs, shrugging his shoulders in a surrender that is as easy as it is suspicious.
You tie your hair up in a ponytail, wash your hands, open the big fridge in the kitchen, arrange carrots, celery, onions, cabbage and shiitake mushrooms on the chopping board and sigh. From the kitchen window, your gaze falls on the pedestrian street where, under the yellowish light of street lamps, you see many people enjoying the cold, clear evening. They walk slowly, hand in hand, flowers and presents swinging from their arms. Some are posing romantically in front of the large maple tree, others are exchanging shy glances, while scattered singles are looking around nervously, sure that someone exciting, their beloved maybe, will suddenly appear around the corner. All that love frenzy for no apparent reason, as if Cupid himself was shooting arrows at them or there was a virulent epidemic of romance in the air.
Only then you realise what a day it is,above all you realise that you have not prepared or bought anything for him. Valentine's day was about to slip through your fingers, caught up as you were running from one end of your life to the other, trying to carve out a few hours just for the two of you. Hours you wasted cleaning your house, teaching him the useless art of folding clothes and matching socks, instead of celebrating what you achieved in your relationship. You should have told him how happy you were to turn your head and find him beside you, buy a sweet treat to share, or at least dress in something nicer than an old cartoon hoodie and leggings. Small signs of care, so unusual to someone as independent as you, but that instead came so easy from him, who isn't the best at speeches, but who affirms his feelings every day through small gestures addressed to you and you only.
You look at the ceramic bowl full of the tangerines he peeled without even asking, because he knows how much you like them; but he also knows how much the smell of orange oil on your fingers annoys you. You touch their firm slices, the white veins, the cold white surface of the bowl, lost in your thought until you sense his figure behind your back. You feel the warmth of his large frame, the good smell of his skin, his strong arms sliding around your waist, his chin resting on your head, his hands lazily caressing your womb and hips until he feels you relax against his chest.
" I forgot it’s Valentine's day" you admit, earning an amused chuckle behind your shoulders "It just slipped off my mind" you repeat, almost horrified at your own alleged negligence.
" Are you apologising for forgetting a sappy commercial festivity ?" the boy's voice adds ironically, then closes his lips on your head, on your temple, turning you gently around to look into his eyes to put your guilt at rest for good “Who cares, babe” he concludes, caressing your nape with his long fingers .
"I'm so sorry, Daiki, I didn't mean to" you confess, lowering your eyes and feeling your body wrapped by his broad shoulders, his arms holding you tightly, his nose bumping into yours just to give you a fleeting eye contact before closing your mouth with his, chasing away those bitter, meaningless words. You feel his warm hand on the back of your spine, his knee slipping mischievously between your legs, his lips leaving yours only for the time of those words.
"Let me make it simple: as long as I have you, fuck Valentine's Day! " he exclaims, shifting the attention of his incredible eyes from yours to a spot on your neck which he first rubs with his thumb and then closes between his lips, determined to give you an everlasting memory of the night. You try to answer, but all he wants is to know that you will give in. You feel your body go soft, almost liquid, under the touch of his fingers. You call his name and he moans in response, pressing you against the kitchen counter, stopping his love attack as breathless words escape your lips: "I love you with all my heart".
You can almost feel him shiver, you can see him blink, his eyes get a little moist and he looks at you with genuine astonishment, for you are rarely so brave in expressing your feelings. He smiles at you and brings his lips to yours for a second, enjoying yet another provocation he can't seem to let go of. "That’s quite a gift, babe, let me return the favour " he adds, making you sit down on the kitchen counter to thank you, peppering your smiling face with little kisses until you, bothered by all the senseless sweetness, push him away with a gentle shove.
"You’re so annoying! " you giggle, as you get some more kisses and a new set of teases. “But still, you love me with all your heart!” he fondly corrects you, caressing your cheek with his long fingers, bringing his lips close to your earlobe, never taking his mischievous gaze from your eyes.
“I definitely do” you nod, eliciting an amused look.
You bend your head towards him, letting your cheekbone rest against his skin, breathing his breath, tightening your lips, preparing yourself for the most sensual of offers, which is not long in coming.

Breaking necks

Breaking necks
Author note: Sooooo, Hiiiiiiii! I´m not dead, yeeeeyeyeyye. Okay, but for real, I have missed you guys and I see the love you´ve been giving my fics. Gosh almost wanna cry for all the love I have been giving, but anywhooooo. I´m back with a new fic. Aomine Daiki is my husband, my freaking soulmate. So have fun and leave a request, cause mama needs inspiration. Enjoy
Warning: None, just a lot of freaking fluff and soft sweets
Word count: 1231
Song Inspiration: A playlist on youtube called, Falling in love with a fictional character
Imagine.....
You´re sitting under a tree. The top of the buildings is painted orange from the light of the sun. The wind blows softly and carries with it leaves from the Sakura trees. You´re enjoying the silence and time you have by yourself.
Lately all of you, you and your friends have been busier than ever, with exams and sports events. You especially. You may have not been with them from the beginning, but when Kuroko and Kagami, also known as the troublesome duo, told you their story and goal, you couldn't help but join their quest. With the Winter Cup right around the corner, Kuroko and Kagami trained harder than they ever had before. You being a great friend watched them train and wait patiently.
Today you didn't feel like waiting inside, with the smell of sweat and the constant sound of shoes sliding across the floor and the ball bouncing. Instead, you wanted to savour the scenery of the colourful sky and the feeling of grass under your hands. It has been a while since you've had time for yourself, with joining the troublesome duo, making it the troublesome duo and their mother instead.
But you would be lying if you said that you hated getting the boys out of trouble, but would it really kill them to not get in trouble, especially with Aiko, who is terrifying when mad. But you felt like you had finally found your place.
This made you think. Aimone Daiki, the old light of Kuroko. He was an enigma that you just couldn't figure out. What was his deal? You just couldn't solve this stupid puzzle. A big part of you couldn't understand why you even bothered with a guy you only met a few times. But the small part of you, your gut feeling kept telling you to not give up on this person. So ever seens you first heard the story you've been analyzing and trying to understand him. Maybe it wasn't about him wanting someone to be able to beat him. Maybe he just needed someone to have fun with. Perhaps he needed someone to confide in, to lean on. Someone that wouldn't judge him, that one who would accept him for his flaws but still give him a reality check here and there.
You shake your head, trying to clear your head for a minute. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this? It is not like the guy knows you exist. Even if he knew you existed he would want nothing to do with you. You don't even like basketball like that. The only reason you're involved is because of your friends and the fact that you love seeing them happy and passionate about their sport. You, on the other hand, don't have something like that. Maybe that's why you want to understand Aomine Daiki. You don't want to understand the person, you want to understand how a person who loves something so much, now hates it. Maybe it will also answer why you don't have something, a hobby you love.
"Yo!"
You turn your head so fast you feel your neck almost giving away. Behind you stands the very person you had been thinking about. Aomine stands there with his school uniform and school bag over his shoulder. The pain in your neck is so bad you grab your neck, trying to massage it to relieve the pain. You turn your face forward again and give a casual
"Oh, it´s you"
Aomine stares at you for a moment, trying to understand your reaction. He takes all of you in. Beautiful, beautiful you are. His brain struggled to understand how such a creature like you could exist. Everything from your eyes to the way you smile. He had seen you around the troublesome duo. Seen you cheer for them and hug them when they won against him and his team. He just wanted you to look at him, smile at him, and maybe even give him one of your cute laughs. God, what were you doing to him?
'Maybe she doesn't like me? Am I irritating? Did I do something wrong? Gosh she doesn't even wanna look at my ugly mu'You "g
"You know if you came here to meet the duo, you´re welcome to join Kuroko and Kagami in the gymnastic hall. That would probably be more fun for you than to stand here with me?"
How could you say that? He only came here for you. He´s been trying to get you alone forever now. Just to get a word in with you. The duo would never leave him and you alone. You might be the mother, but those two act like overprotective brothers when it comes to you.
"Actually, I´m here for you"
You, once again turn so fast you give yourself a whiplash. You bring your hand back to your neck and look down to not show Aomine how much pain you´re in. Also, you don't wanna show the fact what he said, had affected you. He was here, for you? No one is ever there for you. It´s always something about the duo.
'He´s here for me. He´s really here for me!'
You feel a hand on your shoulder and you look up, only to see Aomine a few centimetres from your face. He looks worried. His eyes had a question. God, was his eyes always this beautiful and clear? When they said that the eyes are the door to the soul, they weren't lying. In his eyes, I could see everything. The truth. He really was here for you.
"I´m fine, just maybe not shock me again for today"
Aomine pauses for a second and then a small chuckle leaves his lips.
"I´m sorry, but I had to say it while I had the courage to."
He was scratching the back of his head. He would not meet your eyes, but he didn't move away. His presents had a calming effect on you. It felt like your entire body just lit up to him. It just makes sense for the both of you, to be close. The world seems complete. Like two halves meeting in the middle. No, that is a too-perfect picture. It was more like you meet in the middle, with your flaws and everything.
"I was wondering?"
You look up at him. He still won't meet your eyes, but you can see that his complex had darkened.
"If your fine by it, and I mean it"
This time he makes eye contact with you and he stays. He grabs your hand and squeezes it as if it would bring him bravery.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?"
You freeze for a few moments. A date? With him? His face changes a little to fear. He might have blown it. It´s only logical for a person like you to have higher standards than him. He looks down at the ground, looking for a stone to hide under when all of the sudden,
"I would love to!"
It´s Aomine turn to look up too fast and hurt his neck. A few seconds pass and laughter breaks out. Look at you a couple that seems to hurt both necks together. Maybe, just maybe this would work.
A couple that breaks their necks together, stays together.

Whose bed were you in right now? The dark red sheets were a stark contrast from your own light blue ones. That, and the fact that someone was breathing down your neck. Oh. You remembered now.
You hurriedly put on the t-shirt and shorts strewn on the floor. Just as you were about to leave the room, a hoarse voice stopped you. “Leaving so soon?” he asked. How many times do I have to tell him?
“How many times have I told you? Call me hedonistic, but I don’t want anything more,” you said. He threw the comforter away and quickly caught up to where you were standing.
You sighed. Here we go again. “I will not repeat this again, Taiga. If you want to settle down so badly, then... find somebody who actually wants to settle down.”
“I love you, (Y/N). Please, just-” Kagami pleaded. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. But hey, Kagami was the longest guy by far, clocking in at 3 months before the usual ‘I love you, please don’t leave me’ feelings started to kick in. But that’s what love is like.
And you hated it.
“I’m sorry Taiga. But you know how I feel about this,” you said. You tried to look concerned for his sake. Kagami looked down at his feet.
“So... are we calling this the end of...” He made a gesture at you. “Whatever this is?”
“I signed up for a no-strings-attached relationship Taiga. Not one where I’d have to tiptoe around you in fear of breaking your feelings.”
You kissed him one last time before leaving.
It wasn’t like you wanted to leave him. But all they wanted was a relationship with commitment or some shit. And it wasn’t like you didn’t warn them either. You just weren’t ready for a relationship of that calibre. And you were quite alright with it.
That was how you found yourself sitting on a bar stool, with a pleasant buzz in your head that didn’t seem to go away. The hot air of the summer night around you was filled with dancing bodies. People grinding on each other surrounded your vision.
You scanned the room for any potential fuckbuddies to replace Kagami. All of the men in your sight seemed to have a woman on their arm, all looked to be serious relationships. They’re not of any use to me. I’m not a home-wrecker.
Halfway into your second martini, somebody tapped your shoulder.
“Never thought I’d see you here,” he said. Ugh. What does he want?
“Neither would I fancy seeing you anywhere, but alright.” You didn’t spare him a glance as you turned your head in the other direction. He ordered a beer and sat down next to you. His eyes roamed your body up and down.
“No new boyfriend to call the love of your life?” he asked. I won’t give him the satisfaction of an answer. No comment.
“No? No ring either? You know, when you blocked me on all of your social media, I thought you would come back bigger and better, y’know?” You rolled your eyes as you thought of a plan to get him away from you.
“I thought so too, Daiki,” you said. There was a time where even just saying his name could wake up the butterflies in your stomach. The butterflies had died by now.
“Speaking of that,” you continued. “How’s... what’s the name I heard you moaning in our room at 1 am? Risa? Rina?” You took a sip of the martini in your hands.
“...Runa,” he said. He looked down at his shoes as he set the beer down. He’s gotten what he’s deserved, now, hasn’t he?
“And? Why isn’t she clinging on to your arm like the needy bitch she is? Moaning ‘Daiki, give it to me’ or some shit, when she could have just stuck a hand down there and done it herself.” A smirk crawled its way up to your lips.
“Is that the alcohol speaking, or is it your emotional instability?” he asked.
“What? You’re going to take me to your new flat, and take care of me or whatever and use that as an excuse to get back together? Hell no.” You had heard the horror stories from your friends. About exes trying to get back together and whatnot. You had decided not to fall into Aomine’s hands again.
“You’re not OK, (Y/N). Please. Just let me take care-” He reached out his arms to you, only to get slapped away. You slapped some money onto the counter.
“You’re right Daiki. I am currently not ok.” You set the cocktail glass down. “But you are not the cause of my pain. Not anymore, at least.”
“And I don’t need you to heal my wounds. I can do that myself.”

[10:09 p.m.]
“you look like a sad puppy.”
aomine scoffs at the sound of your voice, bringing a hand up to take a swig from the beer bottle he’s holding. he sits on the back porch of some college frat’s house, knees crouched up slightly, pointing up at the dark night sky.
“hell-o,” you drawl, waving a hand over the dark haired man’s eyes. “earth to aomine.”
he tuts disapprovingly, gently swatting your hand away from his face with his free hand.
“oi, you mind?”
you shrug. “’saw you storm out earlier, i wanted to make sure you’re alright.”
he nods firmly. “yep, totally peachy.”
your face drops into a deadpan expression. “yeah, you’re definitely alright judging by that crease between your brows.” you step forward to place a forefinger into the spot where aomine’s eyebrows are furrowed angrily. you let go just as you make your point though, remembering that an upset aomine is still a mean one. “mind if i sit?” you point to the small spot beside where he’s sat, eyebrows raising.
aomine moves over slightly, grumbling to himself and then waves a disheartened hand as if saying ‘i don’t care.’
you take the seat beside him, tucking your knees in and under you chin as you glance over at the man.
“do you … wanna talk about it?”
“not really.”
you nod, swallowing thickly. he never was the most emotionally vulnerable, no more with you even if you’ve known him for years now and consider yourself a close friend.
you sit in silence for a few minutes, listening to the howl of the wind and the rustles of stray leaves on trees. it’s a cold night, evident by the white air exiting your mouth at each breath, but still, you’re comfortable.
“i was wrong about mika.”
the name brings a bitter taste in your mouth. she, who’d met aomine in the start of your freshman year at university, immediately captivated the man upon first sight. it was a shocking sight, to say the least, seeing the usually so detached man (unless when it came to playing against a valuable opponent) so … in ardor with a person.
it stung a bit.
you’ve only seen that look in his eye - wide-eyed and all-attentive – in special moments, the defining one coming to your mind being the time he one on one’d with kagami taiga in their first year of high school at the winter cup. nevertheless, you never expected that sort of reaction from aomine about a girl.
“oh,” you murmur, pressing your lips together. to be honest, you don’t really know how to answer him. on one side, he looks genuinely upset about what mika did but on the other, you never really liked her in the first place; you sensed something off about her from the get go but it wasn’t your place to tell the hardheaded man beside you any of your concerns.
you were just friends.
that’s all.
“oh? is that all you have to say?” he grumbles, hunching his shoulder down to rest his chin against his crossed arms leaning against his propped up knees.
“oh, i just,” you stammer, blinking out of your thoughts. “i though you didn’t wanna talk about it so i’m not prying.”
“y/n,” aomine drawls pointedly, raising an eyebrow. “you love to pry. it’s what makes you so damn annoying.” though his words say differently, his tone is light and amused.
“right,” you smile warmly. “what were you wrong about?”
“she’s seein’ someone else … again.” the light air turns crisp.
you sigh at that.
you recall the numerous times the dark haired man would complain about his love interest’s inability to get into a relationship. “she’s still hung up on her ex.” “she’s not ready for a relationship, she said.” “she’s talking to someone right now.”
every time you heard those whiny complaints, you wanted nothing more than to hit your close friend over the head with a metal bar, trying to make him see what you did: she’s just stringing him along.
“and why is it the final straw now?” you question, well aware this isn’t the first time aomine’s gone down this path.
he shrugs. “i dun’no, bored i guess.”
“bored?” you repeat flatly. “or tired?”
aomine makes a sound as he chuckles, “yeah, that.”
another silence ensues between the two of you. you can imagine aomine becoming tired of all this, considering it’s been nearly two years of him chasing after this girl. aomine is an incredibly stubborn man who doesn’t know when to give up. so, as comforting as it is seeing him admit that he was wrong about an unhealthy situation, you still feel bad.
“she’s missing out on a lot, yknow,” you gently nudge his shoulder with yours. “don’t get too worked up, big guy.”
“i’m not worked up,” he scoffs, turning to you but at the knowing gleam in your eyes and that bemused smile on your face, he frowns hopelessly. “fine, i’m a little worked up.”
your eyebrows raise slightly at the direct admittance to you. maybe it’s the alcohol allowing him to be particularly vulnerable with you but nonetheless, you appreciate it.
“you forget that even though i pry, i can still read you,” you muse, tilting your head slightly.
“yeah,” he rolls his eyes with a ‘tsk,’ “momoi 2.0 over here. more stubborn, though.”
you grin at the mention of your other close friend, who’s probably somewhere in the house searching for the man sitting beside you. him or kuroko, if you’re being honest.
“so you tell me,” he says, suddenly straightening his shoulders and turning his neck to face you fully instead of sideways as he’s been doing for the past few minutes. “what reading did you get from her?”
“aomine-"
“i know you must have some comments about her,” he cuts you off before clenching his jaw, maybe from the thought of the girl who happens to have an iron grip on him. “you never said anything, though.”
“it wasn’t my place,” you shrug, nibbling on your lip. that was true, it was your main reason. but a smaller reason was that you were afraid you’d say something you actually meant … about him.
maybe something about how she treated him. and how he could do better.
or how you could treat him better.
“i don’t care anymore.”
a beat passes before you speak.
“i knew she’d string you along,” you mutter bluntly, looking over at the poorly maintained grass of the frat’s backyard. “she had a knack for reeling you back in at the perfect time that you had no idea what she was doing at the time.”
“that she did,” he admits with a sigh. “god, i probably sound so stupid right now.”
you shake your head softly. “no, not stupid.”
“i sound pretty stupid in my head,” he grumbles, eyes trained on his knees. “you always get me out of doing dumb shit, how come you didn’t this time?”
“like i said, that’s not something i should be telling you. besides, you wouldn’t… you…” you trail off, struggling to find the right words.
aomine scoffs again, but less of a defensive one and more of a defeated one. “…i wouldn’t’ve believed you if you told me then.”
“no,” you smile sadly, “you wouldn’t have.”
“hm,” he hums in thought. “sorry.” it’s sort of an empty apology, really without much reason. he had no duty to apologize to you; after all, he never brushed off any comments you made since you made none in the first place. maybe it was a hypothetical apology for the fact that he would disregard your words.
“despite that, though,” you says, voice lilting slightly, in hopes of lighting the suddenly damp mood, “y’know i’ll always stick around, yeah?” your head tilts down even more, moving close enough to rest against the taller man’s shoulder. when you do, he doesn’t move; not even a budge nor a sound of complaint exiting his lips.
it’s the raw truth what you said. even if he doesn’t believe your words or pushes you away countless times, you’ll chase after him. but chasing aomine was like chasing the moon in a clear night sky as a child. no matter how much you ran and how fast, you remain just as far away.
“yeah,” he nods, pressing a smile. he brings a hand up to lightly ruffle the hair atop your head. “even when I push you away…”
“…i’ll always come back.” you whisper that into the night, voice blending into the cold wind that whistles throughout the shaking trees. you don’t know if he heard your words because aomine doesn’t reply. he simply sits in another silence with you, ignoring the booming of the bass filled music in the home just behind you.

(KnB) Argument Before The Game (Hurt/Comfort)
Taiga Kagami X Reader, Tetsuya Kuroko X Reader, Shintaro Midorima X Reader, Daiki Aomine X Reader, Atsushi Murasakibara X Reader, Seijuro Akaashi X Reader
Summary: You have a disagreement the day before a game but seeing that you still came to support them gives them the courage to apologise.
Taiga Kagami
You watched as he continued to practise long after the sun had gone down, even Kuroko had decided to go home at this point, he hadn’t eaten yet and he still had to get home “Hey Kags you ready to head home?” You asked.
“Not yet.” He answered as he's lined up another shot.
“But you know eating and sleeping are also an important part of training.” You reminded him.
“Don’t tell me how to train you don’t even play.” He snapped as he turned away from you, you didn’t say anything instead you picked up your bag and walked home without him.
The next day Kagami seemed more nervous than normal but Kuroko was the only one who noticed “what is wrong with you?” Kuroko asked.
“Huh?” Kagami grunted out the noise as he looked at the floor, Kuroko knew that there was definitely something wrong when he didn’t freak out about his sudden appearance.
“What is wrong with you?” He repeated the question and Kagami looked at him before sighing.
“I messed up yesterday, I snapped at (Y/N) I didn’t apologise, it just feels different knowing that she’s not going to be here,” Kagami admitted and Kuroko frowned.
“But she’s right there,” Kuroko informed him as he pointed to the stands, when Kagami looked up he saw that you were there but instead of looking over at him, you were scrolling through your phone with your friend sitting next to you, he could see that you were nodding along to something that she was saying and he looked over at the clock on the wall. “I’ll be back!” He vaguely heard the coach say something in protest but he didn’t care instead he wanted to get to you as quickly as possible, there was still time to fix this before the start of the game.
You heard the thundering footsteps come to a stop in front of you but you didn’t look up “What are you doing? The game is about the start.” You said as you continued to scroll.
“I haven’t had my good luck kiss yet.” He mumbled, he couldn’t see it due to the fact that he was too tall but there was a smile on your face now, you weren’t even sure that you were still angry.
“What do I know about good luck I don’t even play the game.” You grumbled back your petty response which enabled you to let go of the last of your anger.
“Baby I’m sorry, you know I didn’t mean that.” He apologised, he dropped to his knees resting his head against your lap as he clasped your wrists in his hands, teeth clenched as he hoped that this was enough. He felt you lift your hand out of his grip and then rest it on his head.
“You better win after talking to me like that.” You ordered and his eyes widened before he looked up at you, you pressed a kiss to his forehead “good luck.”
“Wait for me after the game.” He ordered.
“Only if you win.” You smiled as you ushered him back to the court to play the game.

Tetsuya Kuroko
Momoi clung to Tetsu like he was a lifeline and while your logical mind knew that they were just friends, your jealous one pointed out that she had a crush on him and knew him for way longer. Momoi was better suited to be his girlfriend and that made you curl in on yourself as you watched them practise. You didn’t talk about it until way later in the evening when everyone was heading home and you were finally alone “something’s wrong.” Tetsu said.
“What nothing is wrong.” You said softly as you continued walking.
“There is.” He pushed further and you looked at him, you had to tell him if there was any hope of sorting out the problem that you had.
“I… Just… Well, Momoi-”
“She’s just a friend.” Tetsu cut you off but that didn’t reassure you any.
“Fine but does she have to hang all over you like that?” You asked.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“She clings to you like some kind of lifeline, it just makes me a little uncomfortable.” You answered honestly and he blinked before he smiled.
“She’s just a friend, you’re being silly.” He said again, you were thankful for the fact that you were close to your house, you nodded as you hugged your bag closer to yourself and at the first chance escaped from the situation completely.
The next morning everyone was loading onto the bus, and everyone was ready to go “Hey Kuroko where’s (Y/N)?” Aida asked.
“She’s running late, she said she’d meet us at the stadium coach!” Kagami called out before Kuroko could answer, everyone, seemed to know that there was something wrong but no one spoke up until they were on the road.
“Everything okay Kuroko?” Aida asked.
“Yeah…” He answered a bit confused as to why she was asking him that.
“Everything okay with you and (Y/N)?” She asked and he frowned.
“Yeah.” He answered.
“Hm,” Kagami grunted next to him and he looked over and frowned.
“She was fine when I dropped her off yesterday,” Kuroko said.
“No she wasn’t.” Kagami finally spoke.
“What are you talking about?” Kuroko asked.
“She talked to you about Momoi right?” Kagami asked.
“I mean if someone was hanging off of my boyfriend like that I would talk to him too” Aida commented.
“Yeah we talked about it, I told her that we were just friends, that she was being silly,” Kuroko answered.
“Idiot!” Both Aida and Kagami said at the same time both landing a hit on the back of his head.
“How would you feel if it was her and Aomine? If I was (Y/N) I wouldn’t even come to the game,” Aida commented, Kuroko frowned and looked at Kagami who shrugged before going back to looking out the window.
Kuroko didn’t see you at the entrance to the stadium and he began to panic, if you weren’t there it would be the first game that he played without you there since you had started dating, he looked around but before long Tetsu 2 jumped out of his bag running off in the direction of a quieter part of the stadium, he heard you before he saw you but he was relieved all the same “hey little guy what are you doing here, how do they all keep managing to lose you?” You asked, he watched as you leaned down to pick him up.
“You’re here.” He sighed and you jumped as you looked up at him.
“I told Kags I would be.” You answered.
“I know but after I explained what happened Coach said that she wouldn’t come to the game if she was you and then you weren’t at the entrance where you were supposed to meet us.” He explained slightly panicked.
“I’m here.” You promised.
“I’m sorry, Coach made me realise that if Aomine was like that with you I’d be upset too.” He said and you looked at him “I won’t let Momoi do that to me anymore.”
“Thank you.” You smiled as he leaned in though you stopped. “Hey, aren’t you going to be late?”
“They won’t notice.” He dismissed.
“Tetsu! Come on we can catch up with the team if we run.” You smiled as you stood up putting your hand out to him and he took it but before you could start running he pulled you back to plant a small kiss on your lips. “We don’t have time for this!” You giggled as you turned and put Tetsu 2 back in his bag and grabbed his hand again pulling him with you as you tried to get to the court in time for his game.

Shintaro Midorima
You felt bad for Takao that was the reason that you said anything in the first place, you didn’t think that it was fair that Midorima expected so much of him so one day when you were waiting for Takao to meet you both at the front gates of the school after another one of Midorima’s crazy requests you finally said something “do you think that maybe you could go a little easy on Takao?” You asked as you looked at him.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“All the things that you ask him to do, you know it's really not fair.” You said.
“How would you know anything about that?” He asked.
“Look all I’m saying is you both have a game to play tomorrow and he’s no good to you if he’s done half a mile of running to find whatever lucky item you asked for that day.” You explained your reasoning and he scoffed.
“No one asked for your opinion (L/N).” He finally said but before you could say anything else Takao appeared.
“Midorima that wasn’t very nice.” He said.
“Don’t worry about it Takao, I’m just gonna go, see you later.” You mumbled before walking away from them both.
Midorima realised how much he valued your presence and opinion in the 24 hours that you had been absent, you hadn’t spoken to him for the rest of the school day and when he text you to ask if you would be at the game you ignored the text, as he stood on the court, he frowned when he couldn’t see you in the crowd, he took to sulking after that but Takao didn’t let that happen for too long “I need to get me a girl like (Y/N) no matter what she’s still here to support you.” Takao said as he nudge Midorima in the ribs.
“What are you blabbering on about?” He asked in a flat tone and he pointed to the stands where you had just settled, Takao gave an excited wave and you waved back before mouthing good luck, though your eyes seemed to lose their light when they landed on Midorima he sighed there wasn’t much that he could do for now he just had to get through the game so that he could talk to you.
The problem was even when he was given the chance to talk to you he chickened out and Takao was left to fix it yet again. “Will you go and talk to her instead of watching her from across the restaurant your being creepy.” He informed him, and Midorima glared at him after processing what he had said.
“She doesn’t want to talk to me.” Midorima dismissed him.
“You realise that this is your fault so you have to fix it,” Takao said shovelling food into his mouth.
“What are you talking about?” Midorima asked again only half listening to what he had said.
“You can’t expect her to approach you after what you said.” Takao said, “look she’s almost finished you have to talk to her now or she’ll leave and it’ll be too late.”
“Aren’t you being a little dramatic?” Midorima asked.
“Aren’t you being a little complacent, you’ll lose her if you leave it like this.” He shrugged, Midorima looked at him for a second, he knew that he was right but he was scared that he was going to lose you anyway, finally he stood and walked over to the table that you were sitting alone at.
“(Y/N).” He greeted you and you looked at him.
“Midorima.” You muttered leaning your chin against your palm, you glanced up at him to see that he was frowning at the use of he second name. “Doesn’t feel good does it?”
“I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt you yesterday, I realised that I value you more than I could ever express and what I did was wrong, I know that I may still lose you but-”
“Lose me?” You asked. “This is a stupid fight, yes you hurt my feelings but I knew what I was getting into when I said yes to the first date. I just want to know that you know it’s wrong and that you’ll try not to do it again.”
“I promise.” He said as he sat in the booth opposite you taking your hand in his and pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles. “I’ll try.”

Daiki Aomine
Momoi had asked you to go and get Aomine since as per usual he was skipping practise again and she figured that you were probably the only person that could get him there, you climbed to the roof where he always was “Dai.” You called out softly when you saw him laying on the roof as he usually was.
“What?” He asked glancing over at you for a second before pulling his arm over his eyes.
“You should probably go to practise.” You informed him as you sat on the edge of the roof by the ladder.
“Why would I do that?” He asked.
“Because I asked nicely.” You answered.
“Yeah, whatever.” He mumbled turning his back on you.
“Dai.” You called again.
“(Y/N) you're being really annoying right now, I’m really not in the mood.” He mumbled, the silence that followed unsettled him and when he turned to talk to you, you were gone, he hadn’t even heard you move, you were just gone. He swallowed as he settled back down but couldn't seem to fall asleep as he had originally intended.
Aomine would usually seek you out before the beginning of the game but he was informed by Momoi that you weren’t there, he looked around trying to catch a glimpse of you, he hoped that you were just running late. The truth of the matter was that you had decided that you were just going to show up late, you still wanted to be there even if he was being an ass, he just wasn’t going to get anything extra from you. You watched as he played like an animal and won over 100 points, his eyes connecting with yours on the last shot, your eyes widened as a smirk took over his face, you waited until the game ended and attempted to use a group of other spectators to hide but before you got far someone grabbed you around the waist pulling you back into them. “Where do you think your going?” Aomine asked as he rested his chin on your shoulder.
“You smell like sweat.” You grumbled trying to pull away from him.
“If I could trust you not to run off the moment I let go of you I’d have showered before I talked to you.” Aomine defended himself as he squeezed tighter “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean what I said yesterday, you were gone before I could apologise I turned around and you were gone.”
“You expected me to stay? You called me annoying.” You reminded him and he pressed his face against you shoulder.
“I didn’t think…”
“You didn’t think what?” You asked.
“I just didn’t think, I’m sorry please just give me a chance to fix it please.” He begged.
“Only if you stop wiping you sweat all over me and go shower.” You ordered.
“Alright but you better be here when I come back.” He said as he let go of you.
“No promises.” You mumbled as you walked over to the bench to wait for him.

Ryota Kise
Kasamatsu called you to try and get Kise to go home, the game was the following day but he wouldn’t leave the gym, he waited for you to show up before he left giving you a simple good luck before jogging off. You walked into the gym catching the ball on the rebound “you know you need to go home at some point.” You smiled as you passed the ball back to him but he only grunted at you before lining up the shot.
“Dammit!” He cursed when he missed again and you caught it again but you held it this time.
“You know you have to rest your leg if you want to play at your best.” You reminded him and he rolled his eyes.
“Give me the ball.” He ordered but you shook your head holding it behind your back. “Look I don’t need you to look after me! I know what I’m doing just leave me alone!” It took him a moment to register the shock on your face but it was a moment to long because you were too far out of his reach the basketball you were holding the only evidence that you were even there in the first place.
The next morning you sat for a long while deciding whether you were going to actually go to the game or not, it hadn’t actually been that long since the argument and you weren’t sure that he would even want you there, in the end you decided that you’d sit a little ways back in the hopes that if he didn’t want you there you wouldn’t bother him. Kise was trying to find you in the crowds but there was no sign of you “I shouldn’t help you but she’s over there you idiot.” Kasamatsu muttered as he gestured towards the back where he could just about see you.
“What is she doing all the way back there?” Kise muttered.
“You told her to leave you alone remember?” Kasamatsu reminded him while hitting him upside the head for the third time since Kise had told him what happened.
“Right.” He sighed. He managed to score the winning point and he looked up directly at you he pointed to you and mouthed the words ‘wait for me’ it took you a little while to work out what he said but waited for him all the same.
“Thank god you waited for me!” Kise basically cried as he squeezed the life out of you.
“You asked me to wait for you.” You reminded him.
“But you had every right to ignore me considering everything that I said.” He answered honestly “I’m really sorry.”
“It’s okay.” You said softly.
“No it’s not.” He denied “and I promise that it’ll never happen again.”
“You promise?” You asked.
“I promise.”  He nodded unwrapping his arms to take your hand “now let’s go get something to eat.”

Atsushi Murasakibara
Murasakibara was rarely yells or gets frustrated so most of your arguments come from the way that he speaks, this one built up and after a while “do you have to be so mean all the time?” You asked.
“What are you talking about?” He asked lollipop stick hanging out of his mouth as he looked down at you.
“Do you know how hurtful it is when your boyfriend is always saying that you stupid, or clingy or annoying?” You asked.
“(Y/N)-chin you know I didn’t mean it.” He whined as he threw the lollipop stick into the trash and tried to find some other snack that he could eat, he only looked up when he heard you sniffling, he froze before his eyes shifted up to you. “(Y/N)-”
“Don’t worry about it, I’ve got something to do I’ll see you later.” You said before rushing off.
“You messed up man.” Himuro muttered from his place on the bench where he was scrolling through his phone.
“Not helping.” He growled out before grabbing his bag and heading home to figure out what he was going to do.
You were sitting in your seat waiting for the game to start, you were scrolling through your phone Himuro tapped your shoulder “Think you can do me a favour?” He asked pointing down the bench where your boyfriend had checked out before the game even started.
“What’s wrong with him?” You asked.
“You cried and he couldn’t find you to fix it.” Himuro answered “now he’s so depressed he doesn’t even want to play but we kind of need him.”
“You’re lucky that an american accent is one of my favourite accents.” You mumbled as you stood up.
“I think I’m just lucky you love him.” He answered as he lead you down the the court.
You crouched in front of your boyfriend his height making it easy to duck under the towel that he had put over his head “You know as cute as it is to see my 6ft boyfriend hunched over with a towel over his head, I think they need you to win.” You whispered softly.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
“Someone told me that you were looking for me so you could fix something.” You said softly.
“I’m sorry I never meant any of the things I said, I never even realised that I was hurting you, I never wanted to hurt you.” He confessed and you smiled leaning up to press a kiss to his nose.
“Promise to think about what you say from now on?” You asked.
“Mm.” He hummed.
“Well then win this game a quickly as you can so we can go get something to eat yeah?” You suggested.
“Yeah!” He cheered pressing a kiss to your lips before standing up to get ready for the match.

Seijuro Akashi
You watched Akashi and the team as they practised, he was making them work pretty hard but given the fact that they’re match against Seirin tomorrow, you waved off the team as they all left ot go home for the day “They aren’t good enough.” He mumbled and you frowned.
“I thought they were doing pretty good.” You frowned.
“Of course you would say that.” He mumbled as he picked up his stuff.
“What do you mean?” You asked.
“You don’t know anything.” He reminded.
“What I know is your trying to make a replica of a team that shouldn’t have been possible to make in the first place!” You argued “you were a generation of miracles, you can’t recreate that!”
“Careful.” He warned and you looked at him and shook your head.
“They aren’t good enough because you comparing them to a miracle but I’m glad that you can’t remake that because you aren’t worthy of it.” You walked away from him not even realising that you had left your bag there.
On the day of the game you still showed up, you watched a cheered for the team where you needed to and he saw you the moment that he looked up but by the end of the game, you were gone and he knew that he wasn’t going to find you in the stadium so he had a shower got changed and headed back to his place to grab your bag before heading to your house to finally talk to you.
You heard knock on your door and assumed that it was your mum “come in!” You called but didn’t look up from the work on your desk.
“You left this yesterday.” Akashi said as he held up your bag, your eyes widened as you reached out for it.
“Thanks.” You mumbled softly as you took your phone out of the bag and put it on charge.
“I wanted to say something, you don’t have to say anything back, you just have to listen.” He said and you nodded. “I’m sorry for everything that I said yesterday, you were right, I wasn’t worthy of a team that good because I was scared of losing everything and then I did lose everything but the only thing that I really wanted to get back was you.”
“You didn’t lose me, you upset me.” You corrected.
“I hope that I never do that again.” He said as he walked up behind you and pressed a kiss to the top of your head “I’ll do anything to make it up to you my love.”
“Then help me finish this… I have no idea what I’m doing.” You admitted and he gave a soft chuckle before you both moved to the bed so that you could work through everything together.
