33. What do people call you? I seem to have picked up various names over time. The trouble with having played so many online games is that people tend to know you by your in-game name, which can cause confusion when mixing friend groups. My family and oldest friends call me by my given name, most of my offline friends call me Bear, online friends from WoW call me Apo and FFXIV friends call me Mimble. My housemate, who falls into each of the above categories, calls me any and all of them at random!

interesting that memories are associated with dynamis/akasa too. or is that instead of aether? is ‘memory-aether’ actually a misnomer/misunderstanding made by the people of Eorzea? after all, wiping a memory involves dumping a lot of aether, which is naturally ‘denser’ than akasa, on it (or something) . so maybe memories are actually made of dynamis/akasa instead? am I overthinking this? probably

I admit I was one of those who kinda wanted him to cheat death, but at the same time I never really believed he would. I just didn’t think he’d want to. He spent 12,000 years stuck in the past and doesn’t know how to move on except by...moving on.

or, he and Khadagan were ultra-doomed from the start, which isn’t usually the type of ship I go for but I guess in this case it was just too compelling.

when I played this patch I was not expecting to find Alisaie out here advocating for religious rights

G’raha has noticed that Khadagan’s “husbando” position is open and really, really wants to be the one to fill it, despite the thus-far 100% mortality rate

Fandaniel is just dollar store Kefka, but I admit his dynamic with Zenos is funny. You can tell everything you need to know about them just by their body language in these two screenshots, which is good writing.

Also, Asahi’s face works well for Fandaniel. It lends itself perfectly to unhinged expressions and is very punchable.

ah, I see Zenos is just as yandere for Khadagan as I remember.

so Khadagan’s type, based off Haurchefant and Emet, is apparently tall dudes with sharp faces, pale hair, and light eyes.

G’raha is like the exact opposite of that (short, round face, bright red hair and eyes), but I think he just became her next husbando anyway. I mean, this is swoon-worthy.

I still don’t buy he’s really gonna die or I’d never sail the ship, tho. she already has two dead love interests under her belt, she needs a break.

y’know, Moenbryda was only around for what, one patch? I had no time to get attached to her or be sad about her death. EXCEPT, they have done a very good job of making her feel like she was truly part of these characters’ lives, and that there is a hole in them now that she’s gone. look at this scene. this is so touching.

even douchebag dad manages to redeem himself. publicly admitting you’re wrong isn’t easy, much less doing so in front of your kids and people you don’t have a high opinion of.
