Lgbt+ ask game

What do you identify as and what are your pronouns?

I’m even a little shaken by a questioning state right now but for a while I’ve felt the best fit is the androgynous label -- I read a description of it being the purple on a pink to blue scale, both at once but not specifically either one, and something else by itself. I’m also happy with a cryptic masculine grey area. My pronouns are he/him.

How did you discover your sexuality, tell your story?

During the Puberty 1.0 nightmare, I was basically living someone else’s life, and any attraction I felt wasn’t in relation to myself. I felt disconnected from my body and gender and everything too, and I felt a lot of social pressure to experience a certain type of attraction, fit into a certain role, et cetera, and none of these feelings existed in me at all, so I used to identify as ace. When I realized I was trans, I was too caught up in the, transition safely, my life is a lie, stopping dysphoria drama to focus on this, but I had an idea I might be a gay guy judging from my gay creative writing until I caught feelings for a girl and realized this wasn’t the first time that had happened. Some bi positivity and nonbinary rage later, I am reminded that gender is a joke.

Have you experienced being misgendered? What happened and how did you overcome it?

Yes of course A LOT. Starting with my parents, who do it aggressively and maliciously. And plenty from strangers and customers, mostly after hearing my voice pre-transition. It used to hurt terribly because I was dealing with so much other stuff at the time, and one little thing could be the last straw, so I used to react strongly and harshly, to people you express yourself to anyway. On T, I’ve been so much more chill and confident, and it’s less painful to accept that some people just don’t know any better, although that doesn’t change its effect.

Who was the first person you told, how did they react?

I don’t remember, I think it was a high school friend. I vaguely remember texting someone in a bathroom during a crying session at work. My high school friends were all warm and supportive.

Describe what it was like coming out, what did you feel?

It was scary as hell. I’m sure coming out (with your gender specifically) is scary by nature because it’s a huge truth to be telling that can really change how the people you love perceive you, for better or for worse, but for me, I’m also thinking with the dread and certainty that my family would be too conservative and potentially dangerous. Coming out to my family was one of the worst, most painful things I’ve ever been through -- being kicked out and laughed at, a lot of drama, confrontations, Bible readings and being ganged up on at odd hours, trying to comfort my mom who took it as her personal failure -- I was shaking with adrenaline 24/7. I think of the “I’ll suffer through anything as long as it has meaning” comment that was about angsty fanfics, but knowing the truth about myself was a source of unshakable strength and it felt refreshing and even triumphant to say, like I was giving myself permission to exist for the first time. I came out a bunch of times, though...

If you’re out, how did your parents/guardians/friends react?

My family reacted mostly badly, my sister is a little confused but has the spirit, and my friends have been wonderful.

What is one question you hate people asking about your sexuality?

It’s more of a gender thing, but I hate it when people imply that I shouldn’t be on T or are subtly trying to talk me out of it with their questions. After all the disrespectful as fuck bullshit I heard from my parents, I’m tired of this.

Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear.

Who are your favourite lgbt+ ships?

I’m not really emotionally invested in these “ships” you cool kids are talking about. I like canon, age-appropriate ones.

What does makeup mean to you? Do you wear any?

I’ve never really worn makeup. I brazenly never bothered to growing up, and if it had an effect on me socially, I was too tuned out to care. My sister always wanted to do my hair and makeup, but I wasn’t interested and wouldn’t let her, much to her frustration. I wore some for a musical once though, and I had no idea what I was doing and it was extremely uncomfortable. I felt what I know now is dysphoria and ended up using the lipstick to draw. Another aspect to this is my family forbade it (or my dad made the decision for everyone), not that it made my sister feel less pressured to wear it, so maybe it was some female presentation I could easily get out of. For that reason, I don’t have super strong feelings about it. Not understanding it probably resulted in me feeling left out a lot among my peers.

Do you experience dysphoria? If so, how does that affect you?

Yes. Before my realization, it was a numb horror I wasn’t consciously aware of, ruining nice things growing up to the point where I feel like I missed out on being a teenager. I remember it as feeling nauseous while sitting in a corner, feeling like none of my clothes ever fit for some mysterious reason. Living with my family in the closet, it defined my life, and I was obsessed with my presentation. These days, it does not bother me on that level at all, except a minor freakout now and then if I get really wild and wear feminine clothes. Or I still feel it in more subtle ways, when I default to customer service voice, or when guys my age are twice my height and I look aaaall the way up at them and wonder what gender they see me as.

What is the stupidest thing you’ve heard said about the lgbt+ community?

Trust me, I have heard truck loads of dumb shit and the winner is the Gay Agenda is R****a’s propaganda to weaken the integrity of North America. Considering what is happening over there, it was enragingly stupid.

What’s your favourite thing about the lgbt+ community?

I feel like I can be myself around lgbt+ people. I don’t feel like I have to hide stuff or put on a show, and I’m not afraid because it’s familiar territory.

What’s your least favourite thing about the lgbt+ community?

Aside from obvious problems like TERFs, ace discourse. Ace people are part of the community if they want to be and that’s enough on that, my skin is already breaking out.

Have you ever been to your cities pride event? Why or why not?

I finally went to a Pride event this year! I was surprised it was the first one I’d been to, then remembered my parents discouraged me from going anywhere, never mind to a gay where.

Who is your favourite lgbt+ Icon/Advocate/Celebrity?

I can’t think of many people right now, but Leslie Feinberg seems awesome, and some quotes from Stone Butch Blues are very validating.

Have you been in a relationship and how did you meet?

No. Technically I have been in one, but it was shitty and ridiculous, and basically platonic, and I don’t want it to count.

What is your favourite lgbt+ book?

I barely read… I read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe in high school and it was honestly so precious.

Have you ever faced discrimination? What happened?

Yes. I got kicked out (but then kicked back in again), had my stuff stolen and damaged, was verbally harassed… and I was indirectly fired by an employer, but We Will Never Know Why...

Your Favorite lgbt+ movie or show?

Queer Eye! I don’t know of many though, and some important ones, I just haven’t watched.

Which lgbt+ slur do you want to reclaim?

I’m okay calling myself queer.

Have you ever gone to a gay bar, or a drag show, how was it?

No, but I did see some drag performances at the one (1) Pride event I went to, and they were jaw-dropping.

How do you self-identify your gender, and what does that mean to you?

I’m not sure what this question means, but I decide what fits right by what makes me feel the most alive and emotionally real and in the moment. What makes me feel the most attractive to be honest. There’s a post about dysphoria I saw going around, the things on it are basically what I use to figure things out.

Are you interested in having children? Why or why not?

I am actually! Not anytime soon, but I’m the responsible type for sure, and judging by the way I love growing plants and being around animals, I’m probably a nurturing person. I actually like kids too, lol, they’re just so high-energy.

What identity advice would you give your younger self?

You’re a boy. Go!

What do you think of gender roles in relationships?

I think people are going to have different ways of expressing themselves that make them happy, but… I don’t think they should infringe on basic human decency. When I hear “role” I think of acting a certain way because someone told you to, something I want to disagree with on the spot.

Anything else you want to share about your experience with gender?

People move out of my way on the sidewalk and take me seriously now. Privilege or self-confidence… I never want to forget what it used to be like, or get too entitled.

What is something you wish people know about being lgbt+?

That it’s simply living one’s reality. I think that trips up a lot of straight people -- that some people just come like this, and they don’t have to make it fit into their personal identity.

Why are proud to be lgbt+?

Because I worked hard to be alive and happy right now. I’m proud of choosing to get through those rough patches, take care of myself, heal, take walks, cook breakfast, learn healthy coping mechanisms, that was out of love for myself and a defiant conviction that I have a place in this world.

I'm Kaibara Sen, one of UA's students but that's.. mostly obvious I think most of this program is UA students. My Quirk is Gyrate. I can basically just.. rotate my body parts like a drill. It's mostly useful for hand-to-hand but I wear metal gloves so I can use my hands as legitimate drills also..

Trinidad & Tobago - Carribean dreams...

I am so ‘vex’ that I won't be ‘liming’ in this beautiful place any more. I have been one lucky person to have been able to come here and hang with a local for almost a week. Jasmine has shown me her Trinidad and for that I am truly grateful. I have eaten so many local foods and they have all been fantastic. I have impressed the locals no end with my love of pepper sauce. The food here is tasty, spicy, and pretty much specific to this island. ‘Nah boy’, I am so very much enamoured with this country! One of my friends asked me if I had posted photos of the food. Truth be told, I don��t have a lot of pics, its not the most photogenic, and I seriously just wanted to eat it! I have partaken in the local speciality of doubles, with ‘plenty’ I might add - for those unaware that is with extra hot sauce and/or the mango bone that is infused with more pepper. Doubles is made with 2 baras filled with a curry channa (chick peas), it originally started as a breakfast food, progressing to be an anytime of the day food. It’s nutritious, tasty, and sold at street side vendors everywhere. Apparently even pizza and KFC taste better over here. This I can now say I agree with. Not sure if the food tastes better, or if its adding the ketchup, mustard, and pepper sauce that assists with the taste upgrade.....

Jas took me to the home of street food a little town called St James, and made sure I got to have saheena, (seriously amazing spicy little deep fried spinachy deliciousness ) as well as alloo pie...amongst other things. The locals only really eat out at restaurants on special occasions so that meant Jas cooked for me a lot of the time, and wow, just wow. I loved the chicken curry (brown), smoked herring, baigan choka, salt fish, home made roti, the fabulous goat curry.... I could rave on, but google Trinidadian food and you’ll understand. Jas lives out in the ‘country’ to the South of Port of Spain, the capital. We spent one evening heading around to some of the local rum bars. Rum bars are everywhere here. Beer is cold and cheap (and made here - love the Stag and the Carib!). I got to meet a few of the locals. Over here they will buy you a drink even for something as simple as the fact that they had to order over you slightly. At the bar. They loved to meet the ‘white girl from Austalia’, as out here they dont see a lot like me... The good thing is none of it was them just trying it on with the foreigner. These are genuinely lovely, polite, caring people. I had a dance off with some girls from Venezuela, and ended up drinking way more drinks then I paid for, eating (they sell bar snacks and’cutters’ only at the rum shops) some tasty wontons at one place, and some really tasty fried chicken at another. We then got some free food from another lovely local who bought us a drink, and also then brought us across some Souse and Corn soup from his food stall (across the road from the rum shop). Anyway I can now say I have tried Souse, not sure I’d eat it again, it was flavourful, but pigs trotters in broth with onion and cucumber is not on my list of things to eat again! I think I have decided that I need to come back to Aus and start my own Trini food store, I think it’d be a huge hit. Love the local beers. Love the rum here. Jas made sure I tasted the Puncheon rum - 75 % and you never get a hangover or upset stomach... I wanted to bring some home, but alas no room in the suitcase! One of the biggest things, I was not aware that this is the home where Angostura bitters is bottled. It was first created in the town called Angostura in Venezuela by a German surgeon stationed in Venezuela, originally produced there between 1824 - 1830. In 1875, the plant was moved to Trinidad and that’s where it’s secret recipe is still produced today.

One of the main religions here is Hindu, they have a giant (85 feet - 26m) statue of Lord Hanuman Murti located in the grounds of Dattatreya Yoga. The statue is the second tallest in the world, and the tallest one in the western hemisphere. When we pulled up onsite there was one man looking after the bookstore who allowed us to enter the grounds and take photos. We weren't allowed to enter the temple/yoga centre as we weren't appropriately dressed. The gentleman then showed us the book explaining how the statue had been built and answered all my gazillion questions. It was like having our own private tour! Jas then took me down the road a little further to show me the temple in the sea. This temple was originally constructed by hand 1947 -52 by Sewdass Sadhu an immigrant from India. It has since been added to, and tidied up, but it's an amazing place, and a site of pilgrimage for Hindus. It's also one of the designated locations for Hindus to perform the funeral pyre. Hindu religion requires that the dead are burned near water and a holy place.

Brian Lara is still HUGE here. He is a home town Trini boy so I completely understand. Cricket is massive, and the new Brian Lara stadium is a huge landmark. They had a cricket game on when I was here (Trinidad vs Jamaica) but they had sold out the tickets otherwise we would have gone.

I spent a day at the beautiful Maracas beach, located on the northern part of Trini. On the way there we stopped at the lookout and had a quick look at the food stalls. I got to try some ‘Chow’, a garlicky spicy way of preserving such things as Pineapple, apple, mango, cucumber... its yummy and not too spicy and I really appreciated the stall holder giving me a taste ( and Jas’s friend Isabelle for buying some of the pineapple one). Maracas beach is a favourite with the locals and its a thing to do to have a ‘bake and shark’ when you go to the beach. Betcha cant guess what I had... Can I say amazing (again!!) You not only get your bake (which is a deep fried Roti) You get beautiful fresh deep fried shark fillet inside it, then you go to a buffet like area and add as many of the additions as you want . Yep, of course I added a bit of EVERYTHING . I had to taste it all. Seriously that thing was amazing. BTW I do taste everything first before adding pepper sauce... pepper sauce heightens the flavours. Jas’s friend Isabelle got her son in law to give us a shout out on the radio station he worked at ( they had it playing at the beach), so ‘Karen from Australia’ is now Trini Famous... love it!!

Jasmine took me out to the Pitch lake, in La Brea, and I’ll admit, I had no idea what it was ( I thought it was a lake!!) Anyway, some how we ended up with a colourful local as our personal guide, he was You tube famous and has apparently featured on David Attenboroughs visit to the lake. I have to sit and edit my ‘documentary’ when I’m back in Australia, it’ll be awesome.. I promise. Suffice to say the lake is the most amazing tar pit. Seriously amazing tar pit. The roads leading into the area are all like travelling over mini crazy hills due to the impact of the tar movements in the area. You have to use an authorised guide on the site, which is fair enough as a wrong step could see you disappear forever into the tar... literally... Trinidads pitch lake is the largest natural deposit of asphalt in the world (estimated to hold about 10 million tonnes) Its covers about 100 acres and is about 250 feet deep. There is a cool legend involving the origin of the lake the involves a hummingbird (I like the story), Historically Walter Raleigh re-discovered the lake on his expedition there in 1595. It has that charming rotten egg smell, and the mud and sulphur water apparently have healing properties. Locals were there immersing themselves in some of the pools while we were there. As we didnt have swim suits we had to settle with getting coated in the mud on our legs, and for me, also my face...lol!!! I didnt get a chance to put it on myself, out guide was very keen to smear it all over my face... (and shirt and hair.. etc...). Rinsing it, after it had set, was a whole other process involving splashing what looked Iike green water all over my face (and legs), all I wanted to do was rinse my face with some fresh water afterwards - and it took over an hour or so until I finally got somewhere to do it. Let’s not talk about how much scrubbing it required later that night to get the last bits of our skin! A great fun day though, made all the better for our colourful guide! I have had a crash course in some of the Trinidadian slang/words and between that and their accents I am sometimes lost in a conversation... (definitely accents particularly when you are trying to enter the country and the border control guy is talking to you and you have to continually say, sorry what??? ) I’m a lot better now!!

Jas couldn’t make it over to Tobago as she had work scheduled at her house that she needed to be around for. So I decided to head over for a night, hire a car, and see what I could see. Its literally a 20 min flight over (only costs about 50 US return) FYI 24 hrs isn’t really enough to see everything. I didnt get to the water fall or national park. I had headed down to Store bay beach when I first arrived with instructions to try the curry crab, conch and dumplings in Tobago (its their local specialty, amongst a few other things). Have to say I liked the conch, crab was over cooked and dry, and dumplings were kind of chewy. The ‘provisions’ that I got with it were really nice though - Plantain, Potato, green banana, avocado ..I would have liked to have tried another outlet to give a second opinion, but didnt have the time. I did get to the beautiful Pigeon Park, a natural reserve area, filled with some shops, water sports hire, beautiful beaches and glorious spot to watch the sunset. I also got out to the Fort of King George in Scarborough hiking up the giant hill to take in the glorious views. Hilariously there was a traffic hold up on my way there due to some goats being herded along the road. Island time boy. I would have to say, as much as its a part of the one country, Tobago island is completely different to Trinidad. Its a lot more touristy for a start, it has more servicible beaches. The roads are not as pot holed as Trinidad. The people are still lovely, but you get the tourist scouters who are looking to sell you on anything they can. Its a beautiful place and I’m so glad I got to go across and visit. As always, I can always go back!

My time in the Caribbean has come to a close. (9-16 Oct). What an adventure. I have had a fabulous time, and recommend to anyone to come here and see this place, taste the food and meet the people for themselves. The country has their own issues with government corruption which impacts the improvement of infrastructure like roads etc. And there are warnings around safety as there are elements involved in crime that impact locals and tourists alike. This just makes Trinidad Tobago, not unlike a lot of other countries that I have visited on my adventures. It just means the more prepared you are to be open to new things, different ways of doing things, different cultures. The more you are aware of your own safety, and that of your belongings , the more you can avoid crime. Crime can impact you anywhere in the world, countries like this dont have it any more or less than others, it just seems to be in the media more....

A Night I Won’t Forget.

This is for #beeswritingchallenge. Let’s see how this goes!

Prompt: I may or may not have fucked up./Judging by the sheer amount of blood I am going to go with may.

A/N: This is for @denialanderror writing challenge Congrats on 2k!! this is based on an actual life event that happened to my dumbass one armed brother.

Warnings: blood, dumbassery, fluff (is that really a warning?) and swear words.

Pairing:Bucky X Reader.

Bucky’s POV

Bucky could not wait for Y/N to get home. She has been working so hard as of late, running late night missions with Nat, going over strategy for larger missions with Steve, and filling out mission reports till the wee hours of the morning. On top of everything she still made time for Bucky, soothing him from his nightmares and helping him adjust to life with only one arm. T’Challa had passed along that Shuri was working on his new arm and it should be ready in the next few days. To celebrate the wonderful news and to give Y/n a well deserved treat Bucky decided that he was going to make a home cooked meal. “How hard could it be?” Bucky said to himself.

Bucky walked into the kitchen after a workout to see what ingredients he would need for tonight’s meal. He decided on cheeseburgers, salad, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob. “Friday? What time will Y/N be home this evening?” Bucky asked looking at the clock. “Miss Y/n is en route with Captain Rogers from Germany they should be returning to the tower at 7:00pm.” Replied the AI. “Perfect! Thanks Friday!” Bucky said. Seeing as it was only 2:00pm Bucky placed the order with Friday for the needed ingredients and then went upstairs to shower and change. When he was washing away the sweat of his workout Bucky’s thoughts traveled back to Y/N. He couldn’t believe how lucky he had gotten to have someone as thoughtful, kind, and caring as you. You were constantly placing others before yourself and Bucky wanted to give you this night to show you that all of your hard work was valid and meant something to him.

Bucky turned off the water and grabbed a towel off the rack drying himself off. He caught a glimpse of himself in the fogged up mirror. He stopped for a moment and wiped the glass clear with his hand. He took stock of the man he saw. This man was so different that the one what he had been before. There was color and fullness in his cheeks again, light in his grey blue eyes, the bags were still there but not as dark or as heavy as they were in the past. His gaze traveled down to the scarring on his left shoulder. He took a deep breath and took time to take in the marred stump where his clavicle of flesh and bone met the metal ball and socket of the shoulder. Running his fingers along the lines of raised skin he sighed, guilt and sadness tugging at the back of his mind. Then he remembered how your lips traced the every same skin with such tenderness the very memory had tears springing to his eyes. Shaking the thoughts away Bucky looked back at the reflection of his face in the mirror and realizing that for the first time in a very long time he was happy and that maybe, just maybe, he deserved a little of it.

By the time he dried himself and dressed himself in a pair of dark jeans and the red Henley Y/n loved so much he saw that it was only 2:30.Bucky set his alarm for 3:00 so he could hopefully get a power nap in before setting up to cook for this evening. Turning on the Tv Bucky laid himself on the couch and closed his eyes.

Blinking awake, Bucky woke feeling surprisingly well rested “Well at least now I understand why Sam is constantly going on about the power of a good nap”

Bucky said to himself. Sitting up he stretched his arm above his head and stopped short. The clock on the wall said 5:52. “WHat the FuCK?” Bucky yelled as he dashed into the kitchen. “Friday, why didn’t you wake me up I set my alarm for three o’clock” Said Bucky shucking corn like a mad man (which with one arm is incredibly difficult to do) “Sergeant Barnes you set your alarm for Three am. I was simply following your instructions.” “Shit, Okay. Thanks Friday. What’s Y/n ETA?” Asked Bucky as he placed a large pot of water on the stove to boil “Miss Y/n and Captain Rogers should be arriving in approximately 40 minutes.” “Fucking hell!!” Now rushing to make sure that everything would be perfect Bucky finished shucking the corn and placed them in the pot of boiling water. He decided that with the time cut short baked potatoes would be a better choice. While the potatoes and corn were cooking Bucky pulled th ingredients for the salad out of the fridge and began to toss them together. When the salad was done he placed in back in the fridge and checked the time. He had about twenty minutes left to get everything together and then it hit him. “I FUCKIGNFORGOT TO THAW THE BURGER PATTIES” Heating up the grill top Bucky pulled the patties out of the freezer laying out a frustrated groan when he felt just how frozen they really were. The timer for the potatoes and the corn went off and Bucky set the patties under running water to try to get them to thaw as he tended to the other foods. “Sergeant Barnes, I wanted to inform you that Miss Y/N and Captain Rogers will be landing in 12 minutes.” Chimed Friday’s voice for over head. “Great just great” said Bucky who was frantically trying to drain the corn and pull the potatoes out of the oven at the same time.

Y/N POV

Y/N sat in the copilot seat on the jet slowly dozing in and out of sleep. The mission in Germany was not difficult but it was a lot of sitting and scouting. Thankfully their target had decided to make a move earlier than anticipated which allowed you and Steve to get a head start headed back home. Y/n felt so relieved at the idea of getting home, taking a nice hot shower and curling up to binge watch Stranger Things with Bucky.

Steve gently shook Y/N awake when they were touching down at the compound. “Y/N? Doll? Wake up, we’re home.” “Thanks Steve” came a sleepy reply. Gathering your bag onto your shoulder you exit the off ramp into the hangar. You notice immediately the absence of a certain brunette super soldier. “Well that’s just rude’’ you huff. Steve chuckles beside you “don’t worry doll he and Sam are probably just working out all of that pent up sexual tension between them.” You gasp in mock horror “was that a sex joke from Americas Sweetheart? You should be ashamed!” You both are laughing still by the time you reach the common areas. “Well Y/N, debrief in 30? I’m going to head up and shower then meet you in the conference room.” Asked Steve before parting ways. “Sounds good Cap. I’m going to get some water then look for that man child of mine.” As you say your goodbyes and make your way to the kitchen you are stopped dead at what you see.

Bucky. Patties. Blood. Everywhere.

Bucky is in the process of tying his belt around his left leg a deep gash on his upper thigh. “What the HELL HAPPENED!” Bucky froze when he heard your voice, slowly raising his gaze “Y/N…. I was just … I made…” He took a deep sigh “I may or may not have fucked up.” You huff incredulously “Well, judging by the sheer amount of blood I’m going to go with may!!”

You rush over to Bucky helping him onto the counter and tightening the belt around his thigh as much as you can. “Shit buck, how did this happen? Don’t answer that right now. We have to stop the bleeding. Friday, call Cho and have her meet us downstairs as soon as possible and let Steve know that I cant debrief tonight.”

An hour later and the bleeding has stopped and the serum in Bucky’s body already doing its job. Dr. Cho had mentioned the fact that he had severed one of the main veins that lead to the artery. Thankfully she was able to mend the vein and stitch Bucky up quickly. Now back in your shared room he sat silent, shoulders slumped and looking absolutely defeated. You stand at the door to your bedroom looking at a very forlorn Bucky. “Buck, talk to me. What happened tonight?” Moving to sit behind him on the edge of your bed you wrap your arms around his waist, your chest to his back, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. Taking a deep breath Bucky explained what he had planned this night to be for you. “I wanted to show you just how much I love you and how much I see that what you are doing is important.” Taking your hand in his he raises it to his lips, pressing a kiss to the back of your hand your fingers twining together. Then he explained the over sleeping and how he had to rush to get things finished. “Okay” you interrupt, “but that still doesn’t explain the murder scene I walked into.” Laughing softly to himself and shaking his head “honestly it wasn’t my smartest moment, Doll.” You pull away from him and move so you can look him dead in the eye. “James Barnes, this is not funny. You were seriously hurt and is scared the shit out of me! Tell. Me. What. Happened.” Raising his hand to your cheek he took in the look of desperation and urgency in your eyes and very seriously said “I stabbed myself in the leg trying to separate hamburger patties.”

You blinked twice. “What?” “I stabbed myself in…” “nonono I heard that part” you say placing a finger over his lips to silence him. “How did you even get the knife that close to your leg?” Bucky reached up and rubbed at the back of his neck. “Well when the hamburger patties are being squeezed by the thighs of betrayal and the knife slips it can actually happen fairly easily.”

Your jaw drops. You don’t know wether to laugh or cry or be angry. Pulling yourself away from Bucky you began to pace at the end of your bed. Bucky turned to face you “Doll I …” you put a hand up to stop him “Don’t you dare say a word. That is by far the DUMBEST reason to get stabbed. And I don’t know wether to throw another knife at you, burst into tears, or laugh my ass off and that’s a very confusing place to be in.”

Bucky decides for you, he starts laughing. As much as you try to fight it you start laughing too and before you know it you both are wiping the tears from your eyes next to each other on your bed. Bucky wraps his arm around your waist pulling you into his chest “I’m sorry I ruined tonight Y/N. I really did want to make it a special occasion for you.” “Well it is definitely a night I won't forget” you say pressing a soft kiss to his lips. You gasp suddenly and giggle “wait till Sam finds out!” Bucky rolls his eyes “Ugh, don’t remind me.” He groans. “I love you Bucky Barnes. Please don’t make stabbing yourself a regular thing.” You whisper as you snuggle into his chest. The response you got was a deep echoing grumble from Bucky’s stomach and you both burst into giggles once more. “I love you too Y/N. Now I have been meaning to ask you this since we got back to the room.” You pull back with a quizzical look on your face.And with that shit eating grin you love to hate he asks

“Pizza or Chinese?”
