sometimes i get so frustrated about how many transmisogynistic users get reblogged despite their reliable-to-the-point-of-predictability episodes of vitriolic hostility against transfems or absolute lack of care in spreading hearsay about us that i think of making a big blocklist or callout, but its a foolish idea because callouts are only for making a spectacle and Other of someone in order to reinforce norms in the in group. transmisogyny callouts never spread to a large audience for this reason; as a rhetorical tool, they are not for enacting justice.

and even if they could, i stop myself, because they're a stupid way of trying to stop bigotry in the first place. we should be striving to be able to recognize bigoted rhetoric and challenge it ourselves, to stand with the marginalized in our communities, rather than making the victims have to point out The Bad Ones over and over since you can't see. and clearly, you can't see! because i cant hardly scroll this website and see an acquaintance reblog a post without recognizing op as either an open transmisogynistic themself, or a useful idiot for transmisogynists and spreading their callouts. (many of which included private pictures and nudes for "evidence" towards their evil kinks; to make this clear, revenge porn with a coat of progressive paint.)

but time and time again, nobody sees the problem when it happens to trans women. its all a pretense to voice preconceptions of disgust to trans women. they dont really believe that making shitty posts is equivalent to actual sexual abuse, just like they dont actually believe that wearing thigh highs is pedophile-coded, its all just excuses to hate trans women like they want to. for them, its just finding excuses to put in the keywords that turn peoples brains off and play into their bias. oh, sure, i cyberstalked literal years into her private nsfw blog to dig up that nude and match it with a selfie from her main and i put both in the callout im spreading around, but why would that be bad? dont you know she calls her girlfriend mommy in private sometimes? look, i did mental gymnastics to equate this consensual roleplay to real world harm, its totally pedo-incest coded! look, i said shes into raceplay apropos of nothing just to get people pissed at her, but you're not gonna check, right? why would spreading that and her nudes- sorry i mean evidence of her crimes to more strangers and exposing her to transphobes be bad? how can it be sexual harassment when the woman person really really deserves it i promise?

The way this scene was done has always caught my eye because of how intentional it is. I'm going to be talking about the actors rather than the characters since these were intentional choices made for the show.

They are standing on the wrong side of the screen (Sheen on left, Tennant on right), which generally signifies that something is wrong.

Tennant held his hand carefully under the sword so that is where they shake hands. The way he's doing it honestly looks awkward and unnatural, with his elbow out like that to keep his hand in the right place. The Sword of Damocles comes to mind.

And then Sheen leans into it in a way that reveals three swords sticking out of his back, suggesting Aziraphale will be backstabbed or betrayed by three people, or three times.

I've seen both those points made before.

But there's a quick beat that happens right after this moment. Gaiman likes to sneak significant clues into quick little moments like this.

Sheen briskly walks past Tennant. Tennant turns to watch him go.

And Tennant now has three swords sticking out of his chest, with the handles of the other swords significantly blurred so they don't draw your eye.

Not a good sign, right? I feel like that's not a good sign.

What makes me so mad about the whole James Somerton situation is that he was constantly throwing a pity party for himself because he wasn’t making enough money from videos and struggling financially as a result. While I couldn’t donate I always felt super sorry for him because he said his content was being suppressed by youtube because it was about queerness and made by an openly gay man. When he was finally getting sponsorships and made his film studio, I was so happy for him. A gay content creator being successful is so cool to see. but the point is that madara puts ALL THAT behind him. it is all in the past. the worst of the worst things (at that point ..) has happened, his brother has died, the senju are responsible .. but he STILL goes and swallows all this and he does not plan anything nefarious against tobirama either, he just lets him be ... like its so insane to me. he was ALREADY unsure abt this, from the moment on where he finds out his clan-name, he turns his back towards hashirama (as kids) and says that this isnt possible. their silly wonderful dream, it is over. there is no hope. and still ... still, he puts all of this to the side .. literally IMAGINE the amount of trust that u must put into a person to be able to do that .. it is Crazy to me. like MADARA out of everyone assfdgdgds. making this Huge of a step ... it is no wonder he didnt believe hashirama would stab him in the back later cuz. the Amount of trust that he put into him was so insane. he trusts him up until his very last breath, up until the moment his blade pierces his heart
