You wanted to murder the Handler–like jump over the glass desk and wrap your hands around her throat, squeezing them down. You imagined her esophagus twitching underneath your palm, a smirk lifting your lips, the weak slaps to push your hands away, the life leaving her-

"You can leave now" The Handler's words snapped you out of your murderous gaze. Five began to stride to the door. However, your feet reluctantly stayed in place.

"No, hell no, fuck no, I won't, I can't" Your words didn't seem to faze her. She shrugged, looking back at the door. You thought about getting on your knees and begging but remembered Five was still in the room. "He can just kill them!" You crossed your arms, a small pout tugging at your bottom lip.

"You're doing the task, no exceptions. Now leave!" The Handler closed her eyes, ignoring your previous question.

You didn't want to act like a bratty child but fuck you wanted to throw a mini tantrum in the bathroom. Five's eyes kept side-eyeing you, his lips were pressed in a thin line, his jaw tense. Going on a mission with Five...cool. Going on a mission with Five and having to fake date?! Everything would've been fine if you didn't have a burning infatuation for him.

"Is working with me that bad?" He made a snarky grin but his voice sounded hurt. You looked up at the fluorescent office lights, shaking your head.

"No, it's just because we're friends and we have to pretend to date for the whole day" You pinched your temples, thinking about forced kisses, subtle touches, and eye contact.

"Don't worry too much about it, darling" He put on this fake charming voice, looping an arm around your shoulders. You grimaced pushing him away.

"What's wrong, baby?" He squeezed your cheeks together, making your lips inflate. You stopped walking down the hallway, trying to avert your gaze somewhere else. But the proximity between you two made you pear up at him through your eyelashes.

"Can you stop with the pet names?" You let out a stifled chuckle, your words muffled by your plush lips. Five smiled, his tongue darting out on his lips, he leaned in closer to the point where you could smell his expensive cologne. It wasn't strong but it made your mind go hazy.

You gulped, fingernails digging into your sweaty palm. "We need to practice" His voice warmed your lips. You couldn't tell if he was talking about the pet names or closing the distance between you two. You slightly leaned up, only a few centimeters, testing the waters.

His thumb crossed your bottom lip, pressing it down. His cocky response was caught in his throat. And so was yours. Still, you managed to mumble a quiet "Five"

Time was moving too slow, his lips ghosted yours before he clicked his tongue, letting you go. He continued his walk towards the elevator at the end of the hall. "Let's go" He snickered. You blinked rapidly, trying to process what happened.

"4'o'clock" Five pulled you closer. You looked to the right, scanning for a man with a brown slick back and a curled mustache. You squeezed Five's arm, as the man walked over to you. "I'm right here, stay calm" His thumb rubbed circles into your exposed skin.

"Yes, thank you for inviting us, Mr. Houghton" You smiled, unconsciously leaning into Five. "I and my husband were interested in your private collection" When you finished your sentence his eyes darkened and the foolish beer emotions disappeared.

"Are you cops?" He let out an obnoxious laugh, looking at your expression for hesitation. His hand went to touch your arm. You allowed him, forcing another smile.

"Never in my 38 years of living, I ever thought of being one of those hooligans" You laughed, biting at the inside of your cheek. Five bit back a laugh when he heard your fake age and minor accent.

"You seem very curious for a woman. My private collection is more of a man's thing, eh?" Mr. Houghton gestured towards Five, waiting for an agreed hum. Five's arm rested at your waist, if he could pull you any closer he 100% would.

You took in a sharp inhale, your brain rebooting. Mr. Houghton seemed to notice, his eyebrows arching at the awkward PDA. "How long have you been married?" Shit, he was quizzing you. You prayed that you or Five wouldn't slip up.

"10 long happy years" Five lifted your hand to his mouth, his lips pressing against the silver band around your finger. You looked at his action, the temperature of your cheeks rising. A faint rosy tint covered his cheeks also.

" I couldn't even stand the first one" Mr. Houghton let out a loud laugh, putting a hand on his abdomen.

Five grimaced, intertwined your hands, rubbing small circles on the back of your hand. "Well, I married her for a reason: I love her" Five leaned down pressing a kiss on your forehead. For a second, you imagined a scenario if you were married, him whispering corny sweet nothings late at night, subtle glances, him taking special days off at the commission just to spend time with you.

"Any children?" He queried, the space between his eyebrows creasing in disgust.

You bit the corner of your lip, a little excited to learn if Five would ever think about having children. However, he was glancing at you like it was your choice to make. "Not yet. We want to enjoy the silence a bit longer" You wondered what Five would name his kids, maybe something unique but not too extreme.

"What's her favorite flower?" The questions started getting more personal. Shit. You thought about different flowers, hoping to telepathically send your true answer to Five.

"Magnolia, I got her a bouquet on her birthday" Five spoke without missing a beat. And that had to be the truest thing he's uttered since the shenanigan started. He gave you a bouquet of Magnolia flowers on your birthday and after one whiff of the plant, you fell in love.

From then he got you those flowers often, gave you special scented perfume, and even planted a Magnolia tree in your backyard. That was around 3 years ago, you were surprised he even still remembered.

"Where did you meet?" His nose scrunched, his eyes narrowing at the small hint of standstill.

Fuck. You had been working in the commission with Five for whose knows how long. Yet, you guys didn't meet there, you met at a coffee shop- no an office- no a— "17 years old, at a funeral of a mutual friend" Five's eyes remained on Houghton, keeping a tight smile.

You squinted your eyes, thinking back to your teenage years. There was definitely a funeral but you don't remember Five being— oh shit he was right?! You were beyond flabbergasted, your memories were foggy but you could tell Five's face structure apart from any hazy person.

The elderly man hummed for a bit, sticking a piece of brown stiff tobacco inside his mouth. He chewed on it for a while, eyes scanning the ceiling. " I need new colleagues, anyways" Mr. Houghton's voice was laced with alcoholic venom. He trudged towards the opening leading outside of the gallery.

"Brace yourself, try to not think about killing him too soon" Five whispered. He seems to skip over your shocked expression. Nonetheless, he put his finger underneath your slack jaw, pushing it up, his thumb rubbed your lip as he did at the office.

"How...what the hell?" You were squeezing your eyes, hoping that he would transform into some type of cyborg. Your throat urged you to take a fresh breath of air.

"What can I say? You're hard to forget" His lips stayed parted like he wanted to say more. His eyes flickered towards your pressed mouth. You felt warm under him, like you would melt if his eyed you any longer. You wondered if he was able to see every insecurity from vision.

"Five" The words came out strained. You looked away, pushing his hand away, your heart filling your ears. Five murmured something incoherent, beginning to follow Houghton out of the room.

"Leave us" Mr. Houghton grumbled to the two bulky men standing in front of the burgundy door. The men scanned you like a fresh piece of meat. Five's hand twitched, reaching to grab your arm, he sent a glare at the nearest man. They huffed, taking heavy steps towards the unsupervised art gallery.

Houghton fiddled with a key, shoving it into the golden keyhole. When the door creaked open, he step aside, allowing you and Five to enter first. The room was small, with a chair in the middle of it and a large safe in front of it. Your hands balled into a tight fist when he closed the door.

He wobbled to the safe, twisting the lock several times. You slyly peered inside, seeing stacks of books, your stomach churned. "My newest edition" He let out a long groan, selecting the top book. He popped it open, holding it high so you both can see.

Multiple pictures of a tied-up woman (maybe even girls) were scattered across the page. Usually, bondage could have been a turn but there is no way these pictures were consented to. You gritted your teeth, hand rubbing the gun tucked under your dress.

Rich people were still talking with soft classical music. You lifted the slit of your dress and grabbed the car keys, that were stuffed inside your garter belt.

The wind was icy, making you shiver, and the ruffles of your dress sway in the wind. Five walked out of the doors, his eyes burning holes at the back of your head. In your peripheral, his face was contorted in confusion.

You snorted under your breath, clicking the lock button on the car key, faint beeps came from the middle of the crowded parking lot. You wondered aimlessly towards Five's black car. "Are you driving?" You jiggled the keys at him.

"Y/N." He deadpanned, the rest of the sentence dying on his tongue.

"I kind of wanted to doze off in the back or something..." You hummed, unlocking the car, and opening the back seat door.

"Y/N-" You closed the door, his grumbling still seeped into the cracks of the car door. You tossed the keys in the front seat before laying down, exhaustion taking over your body.

Five's footsteps faltered, turning back around. He swung open the door, almost sitting on your legs if you didn't move them fast enough. He slammed the door shut, turning towards you. You sighed, scooting to make more room. Five didn't get the memo because his body hovered over you, hand moving up your leg to your waist, and he pulled you back down.

He was acting on some rapid impulse.

"Five?" You swallowed your confusion, looking at him almost connecting your lips, your hands helplessly by your side. He shook his head, throwing out apologies, his hand running threw his hair. You absentmindedly reached for his suit jacket again, tugging him back down.

It was contradicting your recent statement but it was worth it even if Five wouldn't acknowledge your stupid crush on him. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him in. He kissed like a starved animal, desperately scraping at your rising dress. His tongue poking around your mouth.

Honestly,out of all the tua crossover ideas I’ve seen,none would top the chaos of a umbrella academy and merlin crossover

Imagine this

-Five accidentally teleports all his family back in time to the medieval times to the land of Camelot ,they’re all very confused and wander through town where they see a public wizard trial,which tells them magic is a thing in this world.

-Five spends their entire time there trying to keep Luther away from a knight that looks suspiciously similar to him,to avoid the possibility of paradox psychosis and then them fighting eachother to the death.When five gets tired of this,he just proceeds to knock sir Percival out and hide him in a cupboard.

-Luther gets treated very nice around the town as everyone believes him to be a noble.This draws the attention of merlin who was told by the dragon that mysterious travellers have come to Camelot.Merlin find confronts five and a fight ensues,but it ends in merlin learning they mean no harm and just want to go home.Feeling bad for them,merlin agrees to help them and tells five to assemble his family.

-Luther,under the guise of sir Percival,also meets King Arthur who’s fresh off his fathers death,they both talk about their families,how their fathers treated them and have a jousting match,which Luther so badly,it makes Arthur laugh and thank him for playing the fool for him.

-Meanwhile,klaus and Diego go immediately to the tavern to have drinks,where they meet sir gwaine and they all get along relatively well,becoming drinking buddies.This is until a bar fight insues bc they can’t pay their tab and klaus summons ghosts to fend them off.

-This gets him arrested and put in the dungeons for being a wizard,Diego also gets punished and put in the stocks for associating with a wizard (the punishment was meant to be more but Arthur was talked down by Luther and Gwaine),which five uses as an opportunity to pelt him with fruit for getting himself and klaus arrested.

-Allison and Viktor get captured by Lady Morgana,who tries to enlist them after hearing about Allison use their rumour trick to get food at the market.They reluctantly agree and are put on their first mission,to free and enlist a powerful sorcerer who stands trial at Camelot.

-The whole thing comes together as they all arrive at klaus’ public execution,where they try and fail to try him as a wizard,as he is immortal,popping up quite quickly from the execution and terrifying all the crowd and the king

-This distraction,with a little fire and showmanship from merlin,gives them the opportunity to break klaus free,with Diego and five warding off the angry crowd with swords,while Luther distracts the knights in the castle.

-When the crowd get too hard to handle, Viktor knocks them down with their sound wave and Allison then rumours all the town and the king to go home and forget the days events

-They all head to gaisus chambers,and with the help of merlin magic to pinpoint their location,travels them back to 2019

After dating you. You being all happy and always looking at the bright side of everything, always being there for Viktor. Being on Harlans side as well as his. Viktor was very happy. He was leas anxious around you. You made him see colors again. You always responded to your texts. Always texted him too. So when you didn’t respond for a day, you can imagine how worried he got.

Viktor was pacing back and forth. He was a nervous wreck. He was also trying to comfort Alison, who was grieving her non existent daughter. Viktor was trying to keep it together. His mind rushing with thoughts. „What if their hurt?”, „What if their..” no, he didn’t wanna think about it. He would have never forgave himself if you had died a tragic way. After Sissy, if he lost you he’d have lost everything.

Alison looked at him. Knowing that he was worried, she sat up to face him. „Hey, whats wrong?", she raised an eyebrow as Viktor shot his head up. „Nothing, just worried about y/n.” He mumbled and then bit his „I haven’t seen them in a while..nor have i gotten a text back.” Viktor sat down on his bed and looked at his sister. „You can go look for them, you don’t need to baby me.” Alison said, she tried to give off a smile. Viktor mumbled a quick ’thank you.’

You had just got your ass whipped by the ’Sparrows’. They knew that you were in league with ‘The Umbrellas’ as they called them. You kept saying that you don’t have Marcus. They didn’t buy that one. Ben being the meanest, he had punched you a couple of times. Sloane, let you escape. Babbling apologies and looking at you with guilt and pity. You shrugged it off and smiled. Closing the gate behind you.

You made it to the hotel finally. stumbling in. Viktor was just about to walk out to look for you. His eyes widened at the sight of you. Bloodied lips and nose. your shoulders have new bruises and a couple cuts. Viktor couldn’t believe that you could be smiling right now. He grabbed your hand and hurried you to the mens bathroom. Making sure no one was inside he asked you to sit on the sinks.

You of course obliged and he went and got some first aid. He got some spray to disinfect the wound and looked at you. „This may sting a bit sweetheart.” He mumbled and looked at you. He sprayed it onto some open wounds and you grimaced at the sting.

You could tell that poor Viktor felt bad bout hurting you. He was silent. His mind was racing with regret and guilt. He couldn’t help but just look at you and frown. ”I promise i wont let you get hurt again.” He said and he put his hand on your cheek lightly. “Who did this to you?”, he asked. once he found out it was the Sparrows, he was mad, and a bit betrayed. He had just talked with Marcus? Why would he hurt his partner?

“Its okay.”, you grin and look at him. You kissed his hand and he instantly felt butterflies. He gives you his awkward crooked grin and you giggle. You hop off the sink and then walked back to your room. Alison no where to be found. Viktor sat on the bed, you sat right next to him. He was still a bit awkward with his touches, but he laid down, and you did too. He embraced you and smiled.

He kissed your head and you smiled. ”I love you.”, you say and he smiled and sighed happily. ”I love you too.”

Or fics where Allison is a bit rude, a bit self centered, but that’s before S1/S2/S3?

High School Five fics aren't really my thing, but if you enjoy, more power to ya. I don't think realistically he would allow it to happen. He would never set foot in a high school, and if he can outmaneuver Hazel and Cha-cha, evading CPS is nothing. But Rule of Funny (or Rule of Drama, or what have you) will always supersede. Which isn't a bad thing.

Fics where Allison is a bit rude and self-centered at any point in her life are like...I mean, I'd just call that a TUA fic where Allison is IC. Or...being a person. But Allison in particular is used to getting her way, and I can't imagine the self-control it would take to go a full year being able to speak, while basically living in a war zone trying to make a happy life for yourself, without using your built-in cheat code when you have one.

IT/TUA Crossover

Okay I've been bouncing this idea around in my head for a while and I want to share my thoughts. I also kinda want to write this into a oneshot but we will see. Also this is only a crossover in the sense that the Losers are in the place of the TUA fam. So like what would happen if the Losers were the ones born with the marigold and adopted by Reginal Hargreeves. I mean....both TUA and IT have seven main characters so how could I not try to merge the two?

Anyways moving on to who get's what marigold (powers) and I have some maybe controversial opinions

I'm not basing this on the TUA character's personalities, just their powers btw

AAAA also for those not familiar with TUA, the numbers don't really matter, like just because someone is "Number 1" doesn't necessarily make them the leader

Number 1 with the power of strength should be Mike and my reasoning for this is because Mike has a strong heart and he would love his adopted siblings (the Losers) and would use his strength to protect them- also Mike staying at the academy the longest, hoping his family would come back

Number 2 who's power is uhhhh how do you word that? Super Aim? Basically he never misses AND he can stop something in motion in it's tracks, like bullets fired from a gun- Anywho I think this should be Ben. I feel bad bc this is my least favorite power (but I LOVE Deigo) but I like the idea of Ben being a knife guy, it's outta pocket and no one would expect it

Number 3- Mind control- Miss little "I heard a rumor" is definitely Bev. I don't have to say much about this, but Bev using her rumor power to get ahead and be one of the most successful people in Hollywood- not that she needs much help. But also like how Luther and Allison have that weird relationship, her and Ben would have that too

Number 4, the power to commune with the dead and *Spoilers for TUA season 3* the power to come back to life after dying. This is where I get a little controversial but hear me out...I feel like this should be Bill. Unlike his TUA counterpart Klaus, Bill would channel his fear of ghosts into writing and he becomes a bestselling authors selling stories that the ghosts tell him. In an interview he gets asked how he comes up with these ideas and he just shrugs "They just come to me" and meanwhile the ghost who told him the story is yelling at him. I do think that LIKE Klaus he would distance himself from his family

Number 5 who can teleport and time travel is obviously Stan. Stan is literally an 85 year old man in a 13 year olds body. Stan is already a little unhinged but getting lost in time, seeing THREE apocalypses and constantly trying to save his hairbrained family. Five in TUA IS Stan. An old soul who loves his family but also wants to murder them because they somehow keep causing the world to end. Also Stan would be so mad at himself that he hasn't mastered time travel since teleporting came so naturally to him

Number 6, the ability to summon tentacles out of his chest is Richie. Which also means Richie is dead. RIP. He's dead for everyone else but Bill can NOT get rid of him. Remember Bill talks to the dead? Richie would be following him around and aggravating Bill every chance he gets. Bill acts annoyed but he is happy he gets to talk to his technically dead brother while the rest of his adopted siblings had to mourn him. Just imagine all of the BICHIE friendship moments I could write if I wrote this ship. Richie would make so many dead jokes

Number 7, the power to turn sound waves into energy is Eddie. Poor Eddie who was constantly told he didn't have any powers bc Reggie was terrified of them. Jokes on Reggie. Eddie ended the world. Twice. And he's the strongest one of the bunch. I feel like that would be a strong character moment for him

I want write parts of this AU, I love it. Who knows if I'll ever find the time. Also yes ik there's spelling/grammar errors. I am tired

hi, were you andtheny on ao3? i hope im not bothering you, and i'm sorry if i am. I just wanted to let you know that i really really liked your tua series and I'm sorry that its gone. I obviously can't understand why you deleted it since I don't know, but i dont begrudge whatever your reasons were, i just wanted to let you know that I miss it dearly and i think about it often. I really hope that this is a nice thing to hear and not a reminder of a bad memory; if its the second thing I'm really sorry about that. It sounded like you were having a rough time and i really hope things are going better now. But yeah. your tua series was one of my favorites, and I loved your takes on all the interpersonal relationships between the hargreeves, and the way you brought back ben and baby five, and i honestly think that the way you solved undoing the timeline fuckups of season 2 was masterful and i think about it all the time. I hope youre doing well, and if you're not, that things get better. Once again, I apologize if I'm bringing up stuff you'd rather forget about. It's true that I was having a rough time while writing the story. It was a mental health crisis and I was ultimately diagnosed as bipolar.

After getting the diagnosis and beginning therapy and all that, I just felt a bit embarrassed? Especially since those last couple of installments in the series seemed to have kind of gotten off the rails and the writing quality wasn't where I wanted it to be.

I had this idea that I would take it down and re-write the whole story and make it better. Make it all make sense and give the Hargreeves siblings that perfect bittersweet but wholesome ending that I felt they deserved?

I worked at it for a while, but ended up deleting all my attempts in frustration. I still think about the story too though and I've re-read it a few times. I want to think it's still possible that I'll return to those characters some day, in a new fic if not a re-write.

I think it's been two years since I've written more than a plotline draft. My new years resolution was to get back to it, because writing has been my favorite hobby since I was 15 (I'm 27) and I just can't imagine it not being a significant part of my life? I needed the break, but I really want to go back. Most likely not in the TUA Fandom for a while, but I do have a fic in the works that I hope to start posting in a month or two.

for some i used the canonical pronouns as to not confuse before i get the explanation. <33333

luther- to me he’s like a cishet guy honestly. i still love the pride hc’s other people have, bc most of the time they’re really good. i just prefer this reading, espec. with sloane (QUEEN!!!!). i also don’t like the s1 era fics where everyone hated luther (almost entirely unjustified) so they would make him be a dick to klaus and stuff. like did he drink reggie’s kool aid? yes. but is he homophobic? no. i think a better example in a canonical kid fic of him saying mean things to klaus for plot would be like,, making fun of him for being a druggie or lazy, because that’s stuff that reginald would actually encourage him to say. rant over lmao that just has always bothered me.

diego- honestly this one is back and forth for me, between bisexual and straight. like him and lila being bi4bi is just too fucking amazing, but he does give off straight guy energy sometimes so i’ll put it at a bi-curious. he’s def an ally though, and i can imagine he would do his best to get over his fear of needles to help v with his t shots, or defend klaus from homophobic assholes. although i personally hc him as cis, the transmasc diego people have their fucking shit together because that HITS DIFFERENT. i think done right, it adds so much to his character in AU’s and stuff and it’s just rly cute!! but bisexual diego is a very fanon thing that i like to see.

allison- i think probably straight and cis once again. she seems very comfy and happy in her femininity and gender, and her with ray??? (sidenote almond as a ship name makes me lose it ITS SO CUTE). i think she’s always been a big ally to klaus. i can also see her as pan or bi, but pressured to appear as straight by the constant eyes on her since she was like ten. i mean not only was she the only girl, but also a black girl? she was 100% so insecure during her childhood because people were constantly critiquing her. so honestly i don’t think it would be too out of the ordinary to hc her as queer.

klaus- i mean, we all know this one. as far as i know he has been canonically (though not mentioned in show, more like an interview or something) pansexual and non-binary. if not then it’s VERY FANON. directly through the show, we see his attraction to men through dave and also his enjoyment of more feminine clothes and makeup and things like that. i hc him as genderqueer and just generally chilling out and not really caring too much about labels. like a “i’ll fuck you if you’re hot” kind of attitude.

five- now this one might get me some weirdness, but i don’t see five as a cishet man for my hc’ing purposes. a common fanon opinion is that he’s asexual, which i totally like. i also think he’s gay. i guess that would be homoromantic? and also agender. he said no. no. MEN. i think that any romantic hc that does not acknowledge delores is not doing it right, bc holy shit delores is so fucking important to the understanding of his character!!!!! i believe in the interpretation that delores is himself, but a separated part that he forced himself to view as a separate entity to survive the apocalypse. he kind of fucking tricked himself into loving himself, though unfortunately as many people have pointed out, he doesn’t see himself as capable of good. he doesn’t see that delores is him- he can’t. he was down bad though for his mannequin apocalypse wife okay??? they were in love fuck you???? idk sexuality is fluid. let this old man live his life. he’s so tired. also agender, i think they don’t like being called a boy (possibly childhood trauma, possibly gender) but still is okay with “old man”.

ben- he is the token cishet of the upper numbers trio ( 567 icons real and true ). the jennifer incident was heavily implied if not directly and canonically stated to be a romantic issue, and also him and jill!!!! yes it was weird but it was so cute. bring back umbrella ben istg idc about the themes you messed them up in s3 anyway. i would talk more about him BUT HE NEVER GOT ENOUGH FUCKING SCREENTIME EVER AND THE THEMES THE THEMES HIS CHARACTER THEY DIDN- gets shot

viktor- canonically transmasc, canonically a woman enjoyer, ten out of ten character. i love looking at s1 era fics where people would be like. there is no way this guy doesn’t like women. *lesbian headcanons*. and elliot page just slaying with the queer rep season after season. i think he/they pronouns for viktor is really good and i like it :)). also some people hc them as bi because of harold (or for weird reasons but we don’t talk about that-) but i think it’s more of a lesbian thing personally. now. don’t come after me i’m not looking for he/him lesbian discourse on my pride month fandom post. AND FURTHERMORE elliot page is a king and he doesn’t deserve in any way the crazy hate he gets for being trans. trans men are men, trans ppl are valid etc. that being said, i hc him as a he/they lesbian. (Part 2) Do you know what I want the plot of S4 to be about...? – The Building Up…

This is a continuation of “Do you know what I want the plot of S4 to be about…? -The Start…"

In the previous post, I mentioned that I wanted Season 4 to start in two timelines, one; flashbacks to when they first arrived to this new world, and two; a time jump of a few years that shows the Hargreeves and Lila already settled in this new world.

So this post is more about world building and potential conflicts.

The World: Since this is a new world/timeline thanks to Reginald's work in Oblivion... I think it would be a perfect way to introduce a more accurate version of the comic book world. What do I mean? I mean a more technological world, I really like the fact that there are no smartphones in this world and I’d prefer that they keep it that way... but I would love to see the Televator, The Levitator and, of course, the reason why Reginald won the Nobel Prize, his work on chimpanzee cerebral advancement... not only in Pogo but many other chimpanzees like in the comics... imagine the Umbrellas walking into a store for the first time and they see a chimpanzee behind the cash register and they think it's Pogo but it's not... actually it's very common to have talking chimpanzees around...

I'm not sure I want to see vampires like in the comics because unless they have a really good explanation for them, it could be pretty wacky even for TUA.

The Conflicts: This I think would be the most difficult part, because it is the last season and they need to give closure to each of the characters as well as to the whole team/family.

But I think the best way to do it is to give each character a separate (internal) conflict that they have to deal with during the season. And then there's a huge conflict (external) for the whole team to deal with, simultaneously.

In the previous seasons they did this quite well, especially in S1 where each sibling had to deal with their own personal issues...

Luther with the death of his father and his conflict over being number one. Diego with Patch's death and having to work with his siblings as a team again. Allison with her relationships with Claire and Viktor (Plus Luther). Klaus with his addictions and traumas and powers. Five with coming back from the future and trying to stop the apocalypse and the Commission. Ben being dead and struggling to help Klaus and his siblings. And Viktor being the outsider, discovering his powers and Leonard.

And aside, the major conflict: The Apocalypse.

I don't think they'll pick an Apocalypse again for the main conflict this season. So maybe the big conflict would be Reginald. Stopping him, or getting their powers back.

Each character could have an internal conflict that they have to deal with and it's not that difficult because they all have some problem or trauma that they haven't completely healed...

Luther could finally deal with the fact that Allison assaulted him, having lost Sloane, and the fact that Reginald killed him. Diego could deal with being a father, a good one, or maybe deal with the loss of the baby (since we don't know what changed by resetting the world). Lila could also deal with those same things, and also the fact that she struggles to have a normal life where there is no mission, no time travel. Klaus, I feel like he might be conflicted with Reginald's betrayal, with him losing his powers after he finally mastered them, and the fact that he's no longer immortal. He might have a hard time not being able to reach the Void again. Viktor, I think is also a character who didn't have time to deal with the bad things that happened to him in S3, like losing Harlan and Allison's betrayal. I don't think he minds not having powers. Ben, his conflict would be the fact that he doesn't have powers anymore, there's nothing in his eyes that makes him special and he might struggle with the fact that he's the only Sparrow left. The family he grew up with is gone. And Reginald doesn't care about him. I have a theory that Umbrella Ben somehow returns but through Sparrow Ben. So both of them are struggling inside of one body.

Allison seems to be the only one in the end that got what she wanted but I don't think she got her happy ending, I think whatever deal she made with Reginald is going to come back to bite her in the ass and I think her internal conflict would be trying to block all the memories of what she did during S3 and eventually breaking down, and all of those things would affect her relationship with Ray and Claire.

I feel like if they want to keep the show's tradition about the Apocalypse, I'd really love for one of the siblings to cause an apocalypse on purpose, just out of pettiness, to ruin Reginald's world, and I really hope it's Klaus. Or even Five, that would be ironic.

But when/where does the Building Up for the conflict begin? Since it is S4. I think it should be with Number Four. Klaus

As I said in the last post, everyone seems to be settled into the new timeline. It's not such a bad world, it's different, but what can the Umbrella Academy do? No more powers...no more Commission...no more time travel... and no more Apocalypse... there is no reason or way for them to try to change this timeline (yet) But just because it's a different reality doesn't mean they've changed too. So they still have the same traumas, the same problems.

And none more than Klaus. The events of the previous seasons had built up on him and he finally breaks. Ben's second death. Dave's death. The vietnam war. The cult. The powers. The Void. Reginald. And his addictions.

As he usually does, he pretends that he's fine, like the rest of his siblings, no one wants to deal with his shit, he thinks, they're all dealing with something, like Luther or Five. And even the others who seem to be doing better, like Viktor, Diego and Lila. And Allison wherever she is with her family. And Ben has gone to Korea. So he's on his own, he's depressed and he relapses. And then he dies...

And now The Umbrella Academy has to deal with the loss of another brother. Again... except this time there's nothing to do. Klaus is dead. No way to bring it back, no rewind time... ironically there isn't even a ghost to haunt them... Viktor thinks they should try to find Allison, tell her about Klaus’ death, see if she wants to go to the funeral. But they can't find her. So they have a funeral, they mourn Klaus. And then they try to move on. But they can’t. Luther is angry about losing another person he loves, he blames himself just like Diego does to himself. Five is secretly trying to find a way to go back in time, trying to figure out how he founded the Commission in the first place, how to make a briefcase. Lila tries to help him without Diego noticing, just in case they fail. And sadly none of them remember to tell Ben. Who is at the other side of the world... doing God knows what... (hopefully something important for the main plot regarding Reginald or the powers)

Meanwhile, in the Void. Klaus arrives at a desert land. He seems happy at first, relieved. But this time it is different, there is something different, he feels disconnected. And then he feels abandoned and alone. he misses his siblings. and for some reason the girl on the bike doesn't show up to send him back. So he walks and walks... until he finds himself in front of a building... Strangely, it looks a lot like the Hotel Obsidian... or Hotel Oblivion... And upon entering, he notices a long line... very long line to register... When he asks what the line is for. Someone tells him that he needs to tell them his name so that they can decide where he is going to stay for the rest of his death. In heaven or hell... Klaus thinks while looking at the long line of dead people, at least there is enough time for his siblings to find him and bring him back.

Meanwhile, in the Living World, Sir Reginald Hargreeves arrives at the place where Klaus was buried, and orders some of his men to start digging.

I took some inspiration from Klaus Comic (You Look Like Death)

Since every season is about an obsession, Luther and the Moon, Diego and JFK, Allison and her daughter. I think it would be great if instead of Klaus being obssessed by something (since he usually is, S1 - Drugs, S2 - Dave, S3 - Reginald and Powers) that the other characters are obssessed about getting Klaus back.

Maybe Reginald does. Maybe that’s how Klaus gets his powers back.

Can we also talk about the fact that half the sparrows died really early in the season and their siblings didn't seemed to care, I mean they lived in the same house for like 30 years even if they considered themselves more as a team than a family that was odd, also Luther ready to betray his family for a woman he met two days ago (as he said to her), and everyone acting as if Diego acted like a great father when he basically constantly pushed away the kid who was supposed to be his son, even saying that he has most important things to deal with than him, like ok (tbh it seemed quite ooc for Diego to act like that) and also Diego literally forbidding Lila to fight because she's pregnant and restraining her basically not respecting her choice, like I get it, he wants to protect her and the baby and she should be careful but the way he acted was a bit too much, and it gave me bad vibes. Again, I won't talk about Allison

And honestly the worst is the weird vibes and inc*sty stuff, like stop with this already pls, that made me so uncomfortable, I honestly think that the writers are so wrong for this, why are they writing all of these romantic relationships between these people, and also why did they make Five fight with a n*ked lila, like that basically his "sister-in-law" in the show, like I know that n*ked doesn't equal anything s*x*** but that was still weird. And more importantly Aidan is a teenager and Ritu a grown woman !!!

I'm so sorry for ranting in your asks honestly, there still a lot of things I liked about the new season but I needed to vent about it a little bit, I'm sorry if that gave you negative energy....

Diego's arc is incredibly frustrating for me. Firstly because it didn't mean anything, it didn’t get us anywhere!! Arggghh and secondly because ironically Diego had been a better father figure or protector in previous seasons (S1 with klaus, ej). With Stan he did a pretty lame job. All the time I was thinking: poor baby Stan with such bad parents. Haha.

I have no strong opinion on the fact that Diego forbade Lila to fight while she was pregnant. I am not for or against. And to be honest, I as an overprotective and aggressively prepotent person, who commonly thinks that everyone is making stupid decisions regarding their existence, would not have allowed a woman I love to put herself at risk during a pregnancy either. But obviously it is not my place to decide for anyone!! Diego is a flawed but sensitive man, so I do understand his position but I don't necessarily approve.

Honestly, I can't care less about the couples and all the decisions that the writers make regarding the subject, I try not to give them a lot of thought, because as I mentioned before, I think the TUA writers do not do a great job writing the romance. I'd say they do a pretty mediocre job. The only times I ever bought the credibility of a romance is when the couple is already established (ray/Allison, klaus/dave S2, Eudora/diego)

AND just as I don't care about couples, I don't care about the incestuous relationships either. I have no problem with any of the ships bc they all bore me to death haha, honestly, and I think that everyone has the right to imagine fictional characters in the situations they please. It's not like someone is getting hurt.

It does make me very uncomfortable, however, the weird vibes between five and the handler, and in this season, between five and lila. I think both relationships are mirrored. I can't believe people didn't notice how off their scenes were (as they were with the handler), I don't know if they have a hard time reading the subtone or have no clue of how film language works. I seriously have the urge to isolate a couple of frames and sequences and showing them out of context so they can witness the obvious suggestive tone deliberately set by whoever wrote the script and directed the scene. But, come on!, naked Lila fighting??? Jesus

It could be the hypocrisy in the fandom. Some condemn, block, cancel any fan who refers to Five as attractive or sexy, but for some reason they have no problem with Lila referring to him that way ???? It's frustrating. Similarly with the incestuous couples. I KINDA understand the outrage over Luther/Allison, sure, they were raised as siblings, but the fact that they find Luther/Sloane so disgusting and for some reason have no problem with Lila/Diego is incredibly disconcerting to me. Beyond the fact that Lila has a different last name, it seems to me that both relationships took place in quite similar circumstances. They weren't raised together, neither of them. Andd at the end of the day ALL children with powers are siblings (whether they have the same last name or not), because they were born on the same day and conceived from the same source. Source that is Reginald himself. I think the fandom makes very impartial judgments, based on very strange, contradictory and not very objective or even fair criteria. I think we should leave each other alone, to enjoy the series as we each please.
