Alright, imagine you and Bakugou are patiently waiting outside the registry office, along with your loved ones under their umbrella as the rain gently fell from the overcast sky. The moment was finally here, the day you and Katsuki would officially become married.

Your mood had been down a bit in the morning since it was raining, but hearing your family and friends talking happily, not minding the rain at all, did improve your mood. Glancing around, you eyes landed on Bakugou's mother, a bit further away from everyone. She was lost in her own thoughts, a serene smile gracing her lips as she absentmindedly toyed with the end of her umbrella. Your expression softening at that, seeing the fierce mother all calm and happy. Probably thinking of her son's journey along with all the memories with Katsuki since he was little and how far he has come now.

You couldn't help but feel a wave of warmth and gratitude wash over you, your eyes getting glassy with he though of how time has passed. Even though Bakugou's mother had been fierce and would bicker with his son constantly, she was a pillar of support throughout your and his relationship, always there with words of encouragement and a caring presence, along side with his father Masaru. You knew the Bakugou family care and love each other dearly. Seeing her lost in reflection, with a soft smile etched upon her face, filled your heart with a deep appreciation for the love and acceptance you had received from Bakugou's family. You had been nervous when you had to meet them for the first time.

Your attention shifted to your friends and your own family members, who were waiting nearby, engaged in lively conversations. Laughter and warm exchanges filled the air as their loved ones shared anecdotes and cherished the moment together, even though it was raining. Bakugou had told you in the morning that even with rain it had something unique in itself adding it's own little beauty to this moment.

In that moment, your gaze met Bakugou's, and a shared understanding passed between you two. Meanwhile, your friends were capturing the essence of the day, eagerly snapping pictures to immortalize the precious moments not minding the rain at all. Their cameras clicked, freezing fragments of happiness and love in time. The rain continued to patter overhead, you felt a gentle squeeze of Bakugou's hand. Your eyes meet his vermilion eyes, a smile on your lips.

You were ready to take this step with him. Ready to embrace the beautiful journey that awaited you as you and Bakugou stepped into the official marriage

Katsuki’s relationship with his parents is admittedly fucked up. But I do t think they’re abusive or neglectful or as bad people tend to see it. I definitely don’t think that Mitsuki is perfect but sh3 a good mum. She has shit parenting skills sometimes but she is trying her best. She remuer little details about Katsuki and puts in an effort to take care of him, but she’s not perfect. The comment about the kidnapping was supposed to be a joke I suppose but I don’t find it funny. It was cruel and it frustrates me that it was never touched on again but sometimes it’s like that. My mum and I fight all the time but we bounce back. She doesn’t always apologise for the shit she says but I know she’s sorry. Mitsuki is in no way perfect but the two of them love each other and they try which is better than most people. She’s complicated but I still love her because she tries.

Masaru on the other hand is someone I think is very close to his son. I like to think that Masaru was the one who taught Katsuki to cook and is the one Katsuki goes to when he needs help but won’t say it. Many people portray him as weak and spineless and I disagree. God knows he can’t be spineless to be married to and love Mitsuki but I do agree that he is very quiet. I like to think he has an authority that comes across very softly to his family. I don’t know how to explain this. He’s not looked over, he’s not pushed around, he’s not being manipulated or controlled and he cares about his family above all else. He’s a complicated character to me and I love him but I don’t know how to properly explain what I think he’s like.

The three of them have a strange dynamic, that’s for sure, but they are close and have a crazy cozy loving family that no one is ever gonna understand.

i just had the realization that almost every character who has a mother we've seen has looked very similar to their mother, and don't look much like their fathers (if they're seen)

an obvious example of this is the Bakugous, Katsuki's hairstyle is like his dad's but that's about it

and then the Midoriyas; we don't have Hisashi so we can only compare him to Inko but it doesn't matter

with the Urarakas it seems like Ochaco didn't get anything from her dad

with the Jirous, it's hard to tell with no good color shots of her mom (hence the 2 pics of her), but it looks like Kyouka might have gotten her eye shape from her dad. everything else is her mom's though

and now the Asui family. you can see Tsuyu and her siblings are all the same level of frog-ish as their mom, while their dad is more toady

i saved the Todorokis for last bc they are the most diverse! at first glance, they look like their mom. Natsuo is the most like his dad, but he gets his mom's hair/eye color. Touya has his dad's hair/eye color but his mom's eye shape. (he looks more like his mom after his hair turns white). besides the red streaks and glasses, Fuyumi looks just like her mom. Shouto (obviously) has the color split, but his eye shape is like his dad's. however, all but Natsuo have their mom's general body type.

(I used younger pictures of Touya because Dabi is too crispy to look anything like his parents lmao)

I think everyone else has no (shown) parents. interesting, huh? I wonder if Horikoshi is aware that he does this. it would be interesting to know if he has a closer relationship with his mother than his father, and his subconscious is showing through into his work...
