Bedblogging: 9/10
Everything is perfect, except this means I usually blog at night (rn) and I'm just a hater so it can't be 10.

Vana Wellness Retreat Room #32, Dehradun, India (August 5-19, 2017) – Bed #39. Photos aren't allowed at Vana, not in the public spaces. But when you leave they tie a string around your wrist and ask you to tie a similar string on this wall hanging. Each on represents someone having had the great fortune of being here for some period of time. I've been three times now and each time I feel like my lifespan is extended. I came here to meet the wonderful Drubgyud Tenzin Rinpoche and to observe a kids program that Vana "curated" (a very over used word in these parts but the fact is that every single molecule is thoughtfully selected when it comes to anything Vana). It was a pivotal time for me work-wise and also health-wise. Extremely grateful to have spent this time here.

The Way It Strikes Me Personally is that scrooge is bi in that "isn't everyone?" kind of way, he hasn't given it much thought at all and deep down he assumes that almost everybody could go either way, it's just that one of those ways has been socially discouraged. if you were to clear it up for him he'd be like "huh", but he still wouldn't feel strongly enough about it to claim a capital i Identity.
donald melts under male attention as much as any other, but he's hesitant to initiate anything. he's low-key anxious and reserved about it because being an accepted and respected member of society is so important to him. however, if anyone actually were to give him so much as a side-eye about it, spite would kick in and he'd immediately start being as obnoxiously open about it right in their face as he possibly could.

Wow look I remembered it’s munday and I’m actually posting munday stuff, no way. Anyway I got my hair cut today finally, feeling so much more like myself even if it’s an unstyled mess in these pics lol. Also featuring my lovely girlfriend who writes Rey over at @reyjustrey. She’s bedblogging while I prefer my desk because I can focus better.  Hope you all have had/are having a great monday!

literally not to be like cartoonishly slothful but Thank God i can like. do computer things in bed again. listen. i have back pain. i like to be lounging. my desk and chair are at weird heights where its unconfortable to sit with my legs crossed which i have to do or i'll die due to adhd. i bedblog in a respectable manner where i lean the keyboard against my legs and angle the screen... no weird chest-sitting... god i feel motivated to like. truly Do Things yknow literally just like, blog themes... i did realize btw that i could literally just take the url kieranvanya so i'm gonna set that up later, and put a theme on here, and do way more stuff on th... Actually in bed writing this one... edging steadily closer to blogging failure. I received an email yesterday congratulating me on writing 5 blog entries, so at least the Tumblr bots are happy. I can't even convince Andy to read my blog now though! It's ok, I am used to talking to myself! So, today's news:
- I bought tickets for the Libertines at Hyde Park this morning! Very excited about this. It was much easier to get them in the presale than i expected actually. Six of us will be travelling down to London together in July and we've all got hotels right near Hyde Park - so will be lots of fun! Outrageous how much more expensive hotel rooms are on gig-days though.
- Ok nothing much else happened... I worked, I came home, I had had a good day, I even watched Game of Thrones, which was amazing as usual, but then I got tired and grumpy, and lots of nasty negative thoughts started floating around in my brain, so i'm going to bed. As i think sleep will be the best cure. I have acid reflux issues so am not getting the best nights' sleep at the moment. It does nothing for my happy face...
Night night x
P.s. my skipping rope came! I might start ticking some items off my list soon!

Vana Delhi Guest House, New Delhi (August 4, 2017) Bed #38 – Veer kindly offered to let me stay at their Delhi guest house on the way to Vana, which was such a treat. He even sent a driver in a pretty cream colored Ambassador to fetch me from the airport, which, after my Ethiopian adventure, was like coming home to mama. I was already late for my dentist appointment so after 24 hours on the road we didn’t even stop at the flat; he dropped me at Dr. Dania’s where I was measured for a replacement crown, injected, drilled into, tugged on, made to suck on some gooey chemicals and sent on my way. It had been a tough trip so I treated myself to a pedicure at Looks Khan Market and then met Pema and Phuntsho Wangmo, sisters from Bhutan, and dear dear friends. I mean, they feel like sisters to me not just to each other. We lunched like ladies at Perch and had coffee at Turtle. Browsed books and gossiped a bit. It was really good to see their faces, even if I was teetering on some kind of sleep deprived carbon footstomp condition that included a sore throat and little tiny mental blackouts. Finally I went to the guest house to hose down and collapse. It was odd to have a meal all alone after so many weeks of commotion. I kind of missed it. Then up early for my next flight.
SHOPPING in DELHI: I usually take the easy way out and do all my shopping at Khan Market. If I had an unlimited spending spree at Good Earth (www.goodearth.in), life would be beautiful. I am also a fan of Manan (http://www.manandesign.com/) but it's hit and miss. I just discovered a tiny little Ayurvedic shop called Inatur (https://www.inatur.in/), their packaging isn't as pretty as Kama or Forest Essentials but their products are solidly great and much less expensive. Keep an eye out for anything by the beautiful Kurma Foundation (http://www.kurma.co.in/) - specializing in block prints. And if you like block print, you can also try Anoki (http://www.anokhi.com/), where I always go, try on many many things and buy nothing. The prints are so pretty but the cuts don't work. They have great pajamas, baby clothes, and bedding, though. And I always pick up some envelopes for gifts. Of course there is the famous FabIndia (https://www.fabindia.com) for classic Indian clothes but it isn't really that fab. I stop there for some food stuffs like turmeric and chia seeds. They also have cute baby clothes but I find their quality quite low for most things. I get my glasses made at Dr. Monga's. I get my feet smoothed out at Looks Salon, they have the best pedicures in the world. The paint job isn't great but you get totally baby smooth feet and a wonderful leg massage. I used to also get my hair cut and colored there but it's kind of annoying and I don't like their new space so I tried Geetanjali and I like the atmosphere better. The services were fine. There are a lot of nice places for food, nothing is cheap. I know there are better places in India but these are my regular spots.
