That’s why they took this name -Amber Road trade route from their Eastern Mediterranean roots, to modern London spirit. Had an early dinner with my family. Service was impeccable, and the Levantine dishes creative. There was dry-fried cauliflower with crispy shallots, green tahini and dukkah – crunchy, creamy, tangy, it was balanced to perfection and caused a minor fork fight between us 🎼😀. Equally delightful was the minced meat pide (Turkish pizza) This place was quite hidden behind the busy streets in Whitechapel. It is surrounded near new developments so quite a nice relaxed chill vibe. We had the mezze platter to share and the lamb shank and lamb as mains and both delicious and enormous. I would highly recommend the hummus and the smoky aubergine dip.
