SOMETHING'S NOT RIGHT IS OUT!
“A quietly fantastical wonderland of creatures, queerness, and possibility.” — Max Franciscovich @goose-books, author of Night Shift
The debut collection returns in a special fifth anniversary edition, repackaged with three new short stories, a new cover, and additional bonus content! A vampire is forced into a compromising situation; a father fears his child's growing plant collection; the undead go to high school; a butcher contemplates whether or not she can be loved. In a captivating debut, yves. opens the door to our world, slightly askew—where the crows work for witches and telephone booths serve as secret channels for prophecy; where a diverse cast of monsters and humans alike are forced to contend with what the world believes is right.
Thank you to everyone who made my weird uncategorizable "Lemony Snicket meets Carmen Maria Machado" speculative fiction an instant bestseller! If you’ve ever felt like a monster, this book is for you.

✨PREORDER ANNOUNCEMENT!✨
Tumblr media
My DEBUT NOVEL is coming out on April 23, 2024!
Renowned surgeon Ben McNatt is up for the job of his dreams, and when he gets it, he’ll be the youngest chief of neurosurgery in his hospital’s history. His success rate is flawless, but his perceived lack of compassion is hurting his chances. He’s always viewed relationships as a distraction, but a loving partner might change his colleagues’ ideas about his heartlessness. He’ll do whatever it takes for this promotion—even pretend to date. The natural choice for his fake boyfriend is the cute guy at the coffee shop. Jamie Anderson is in student loan debt up to his eyeballs. He has three roommates, and not in a quirky found-family way. He works sixty hours a week as a barista, and his boss won’t stop hitting on him. He’s even given up on love. He makes do with fantasies about the hot doctor that comes in for coffee every day like clockwork. A fake relationship might solve Jamie’s handsy boss problem too. And there’s no way it will lead to real feelings when that’s the last thing either of them wants. So why are they having so much trouble convincing themselves they aren’t falling for each other?
It has fake dating! It has a coffee shop! It has idiots pining for each other! Plus a dash of academia, the weirdness of small tourist town gas stations, and encounters with NYC wildlife!
The Boyfriend Fix will be available in ebook AND PRINT! So if you've ever thought to yourself, "if only I could have a physical copy of tumblr user aurorawest's fiction," this is your chance!

What are some bisexual books that people don't often talk about but are very good and deserve more love
Ugh so many. It Goes Like This by Miel Moreland. Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Herring Blake. Verona Comics by Jennifer Dugan. Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett. Death Prefers Blondes by Caleb Roehrig. I think Zack Smedley is the most underrated writer of bisexuality in YA, bar none - both of his books, for sure. With Love, From Cold World by Alicia Thompson isn't totally under the radar, but I feel like people don't know how significant the hero's being bi is. The whole True Queen series by Sarah Fine. (I haaaate when people say the first book isn't bi, oh my God.) Kristen Lepionka's Roxane Weary series and Misha Popp's murder pie series. The Disasters by MK England. I'll stop there, but yeah, so many. (Tbh I think Cool for the Summer and Going Bicoastal, too, but I am admittedly biased.)

Midyear queer book rec 2023: even more gay, even more slaps!
Tumblr media
Another wide selection of achillian, sapphic, and bisexual (is there a term for that?) relationships, basically all adult fiction and lots of romance, historical, and fantasy with happy endings because of who I am as a person. But these are all books I gave at least 3/5 stars that offer a fun range of relationships and writing styles!
If you want even more queer book recs, check out my many previous posts! Now go enjoy some queer reading and support authors writing queer fiction!

We Will Devour The Night (The Essence of the Equinox #2) ARC Request Form
I'm looking for ARC readers for my sequel!
The book releases in 22 September 2024 and I would preferably like you to leave a review before then but it's fine if you leave it after. More details in the form but I won't be sending it out until July at the earliest.
As it is a sequel it's better if you've read the first one but don't let that put you off as I'm happy to offer the first book to you, no hidden costs.
If you have a UK mailing address I am also open to offering a physical ARC in exchange for pretty photographs on your social media account.
If you happen to scroll past this I'd appreciate if you'd at least give it a reblog to widen the sample size. Thanks in advance.

Reminder that there’s now a way to buy all five Mangoverse books as 5 pdf’s in one $17 transaction! Queer Jewish joy in a fantasy setting, standalone novellas about the same found-family, focus on women in love with each other and women in friendships with each other (with a side helping of dragon dude for those of you into smirky middle-aged men.) One of the books also focuses on wlw/mlm solidarity and workers’ rights, and there are plenty of Shabbat scenes and other Jewish holidays celebrated on the page.
Link includes plot summaries of all four books/the short story collection. If you like the series, reblogs are very much appreciated!
Everything is available on Kindle (and paperback) on Amazon as well, individually. The Second Mango Climbing the Date Palm A Harvest of Ripe Figs The Olive Conspiracy Tales from Perach
