Team Rocket Meowth and BW Anime N are very good foils... hear me out.

Meowth is a Pokemon who can communicate with humans, N is a human who can communicate with Pokemon. But what really fascinates me is that in the anime, N says directly to Meowth he shouldn't.

To Meowth of course this was very insulting, and N came off as condescending, which he sort of was being, despite having good intentions.

Additionally, neither seem to quite fit in with (or particularly like) their species. Meowth seems to have a level of separation in his mind from the Pokemon he is capturing, and N is likewise with his struggle to accept himself as fully human, ESPECIALLY before he meets the protagonist of his respective sources (in this case Ash) and learns from them.

There's also the differences; N seems to have been naturally (hehe) born able to talk to Pokemon, whereas Meowth had to learn to speak with humans. This makes N someone inherently 'different', whereas Meowth made the choice himself.

Their personalities are also very clashing. N is both very gentle and stubborn. He's passionate, both about Pokemon and his hobbies. Meanwhile, Meowth is a bit more jaded and a little arrogant, though I would say you could also describe him as stubborn and passionate, though passionate for his own causes.

Meowth is also a bit selfish by nature of being a villain, and takes enjoyment out of his villainy (though of course Team Rocket's villainy is very limited compared to most other Pokemon villains). N, on the other hand, has a bit of a savior/hero complex he needs to learn to relax on (see above, N accidentally being rude to Meowth by suggesting he shouldn't speak English).

So you know what I realized the biggest failure of the scrapped Pikachu and Zekrom storyline and maybe even the Gen V anime was Trip! He should’ve been flat out scrapped and replaced with N. Because arguably N would have just as much experience if not more than Ash. Having been Groomed and Taught by Ghetsis. And maybe he could have a Zorua that’s his friend from Childhood, Boom! Instant good opponent to Pikachu. Trip looking back is actually Very poorly written, because he always wins against Ash, because of plot armor. Until He faces against literally anyone else where it Will stop working because it only works for Ash.

“You realise that fairy-type pokémon would still be immune to dragon-type moves and all fairy-type moves would still be super effective against dragon-types, right?” Alain interrupted.

“THAT’S– that’s not the point,” Iris huffed.

“Then why curse out the Professor? If anything you should thank him for figuring it out so you can work around it.”

“Yeah, but because of him I now have to deal with people mocking us dragon-type trainers with a floating pair of keys,” Iris whined.

“Klefki’s aren’t even native to Unova…” Alain didn’t understand Iris.

“Exactly! How am I supposed to defend myself against a pokémon that I’ve never heard of?” Iris frowned.

“It’s called a pokédex? If you connect it to the internet you can learn about pokémon outside Unova.”

“I don’t have a pokédex!”

“Why not? Every trainer gets one for free from the professor?”

“I didn’t get a pokémon from the professor!”

“You don’t need to get a pokémon for a pokédex!”

teenage!gojo is aware of the rule that states no male and female mingling in dorms past 8:00pm, but that doesn’t stop him from sneaking into you room at night. He would slide up next to you and slither his arms around your torso.

teenage!gojo would drop everything if it meant he’d be able to hang out with you. He was hanging out with Geto and immediately left when he saw the picture you posted, it was of your laptop playing a movie and your cat sitting beside it. You were all alone, so that meant he had to go see you.

teenage!gojo would always remember to buy you your favourite snacks and bring them back to you.

teenage!gojo is the type to always be touching you somehow in public and private settings. Whether that be holding your hand, wrapping his arm around your hip, stuffing his face in your neck, etc.

teenage!gojo would beg for kisses anywhere anytime. He was about to fight someone but insisted that he needed a good luck kiss.

teenage!gojo would spend every penny he had on you, not that he’d run out of money anytime soon or ever really. He’ll buy you anything you ask for; new shoes, a night at the movies, jewelry, etc.

teenage!gojo can’t go even a day without seeing you, he’d be a wrecked. His mission took multiple days and Geto had to deal with the effects of it. Gojo would lay around all day, mumbling about you the whole time and how much he missed you.

teenage!gojo literally can’t survive without his girlfriend.
