Part 2 of 5 in my women in horror series!
I took an art break bc college has been busy but the other 3 are in the works and 90's is almost done ♡ Left to right, top to bottom: Rosebud from Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Angela Baker from Sleepaway Camp, Sarah Mercer from My Bloody Valentine, Meg Halsey from Re-Animator, Audrey Fulquard from Little Shop of Horrors, Elvira (technically not a horror character herself but excluding her would be a crime), Kirsty Cotton from Hellraiser, Angela Franklin from Night of the Demons, Wendy Torrance from The Shining, Carol Anne Freeling from Poltergeist, and Maven and Katrina from the movie Vamp.

Hey, I'm that new player anon from the other blog who asked about Tardif enjoying baking. Thanks for your detailed answer.
I'd like to ask, why do you feel the DD2 interpretations of the characters feel squeaky clean? I have heard from others that DD2's backstories comes off as trying to make them similar to Dismas' (feeling remorseful for their past and trying to find redemption), is that true? Characters like Sarmenti don't feel like they're particularly different, but I can see where they're coming from with Paracelsus or something
Hello hello! o/ welcome to the fandom and thank you for the ask :}
Sorry for the late reply, i was promptly reminded why i shouldn't type big answers in a browser and had to re-do this answer a few times ^^'
i'm happy that my bits of historical anecdotes were of any interest to you, if you have anything else you'd like to know, ask away, i'll do my best to answer. i researched DD's possible cuisine for my writing, so i'm more than happy to share and have an unhealthy amount of interest in Crimson Curse
Now, regarding your ask…
Oh, the characterization... well, i am working on a huge and detailed answer for another ask regarding Dismas in particular, and it's taking me a while because i have feelings and i need to dig out DD2 barks for factual comparison, but in general, for me this is because of three things:
removal of the character's agency;
removal of moral ambiguity;
re-writing of established facts that contradict 'heroism';
You see, before DD2's shrines, all the fandom had to work with were hero's comics, their barks (lines they say during specific afflictions and/or actions) and descriptions on some of their personal trinkets (namely, Crimson Curse sets). All of those were vague and open to interpretation, but painted quite a dark picture for any given hero. The only more or less 'cinnamon rolls' (aka victims of circumstance but arguably good-aligned) were Baldwin (leper), Misendei (arbalest), William (Houndmaster) and Bigby (Abomination), who were wronged but tried to keep their goodness intact. And even those supposed cinnabuns had some quite questionable lines when stressed enough, revealing that sure, they did their best, but even they weren't spotless.
However, everyone else was either a selfish ass, or a coward, or mass murderer, or someone else equally shitty and their 'key backstory moment' was painting them in a dubious light.
Fresh examples that pop up in my head and have mirrors in DD2 are Paracelsus (Plague Doctor), who was rather obsessed with her work on the human body, and her barks show how she is absolutely determined to keep her notes and research private but in a rather "this is my achievement, only mine!" way. She's arrogant and shoves her way around others whenever she's stressed, feeling them all beneath her.
For example:
(sigh) My time is too valuable for these trivialities!
You halfwits are interrupting my concentration!
Uneducated brutes! The ignorance! The idiocy!
Hmmm... deformed at birth or merely hideous?
So many useful organs... all wasted on you.
Why bother? You are all little more than meat.
Medicine marks a new age, ignorant barbarians!
Sure, her comic shows her hard working, not denying that, but also having the bloodied handkerchief of her professor with her (from the 4th panel onward, it's always with her); which can be interpreted in a multitude of ways, not excluding her poisoning him just to be able to work on his body and further the study. We can't see her shunned and debated as it was shown in DD2, and she isn't portrayed as a singular woman character in the university setting. We can't see her professor dying of natural causes – we just see him dead and her coming to witness that, already with books and clutter at hand. It can be seen as if it was her own scheme. For all we know - yes, she is the mad scientist (tm.) and it wasn't her trauma or making a zombie which pushed her out of university and into Hamlet, but her arrogance, very Victor Frankenstein style.
However, in DD2 a lot, and I mean a LOT was made to make her softer, mellower, less over the top and more sympathetic: how the professor disregards her theories; how she's the sole woman in the class; how she is mocked, debated and considered 'scandalous' (based on Shrine quotes); how she lost her will to pursue medicine; how she was a poor little meow meow after shrine 5 who cannot focus and get the screams out of her head (which contradicts heavily all of her characterization in DD1...); you get the idea. Even her negative barks aren’t as vicious:
You bicker as a child does!
You! Reckless! You threaten us all!
I've had better company in the morgue!
If I bleed out, who will staunch your wounds?
By my calculations, you misjudged that.
Sure, it can be because DD2 is still in the making, but… they have a different attitude, don’t you think?
A lot of work went into making this character as beaten up and sympathetic as possible instead of an over the top, cocky, somewhat mad scientist with absolutely unhinged love and fascination for bodies and bodily fluids (she’s asking her teammates for their piss during camping for god’s sake, that woman has no understanding of social norms, or no use for them) - but in doing so, Para lost what... well, made her Para, in my opinion. Para in DD1 goes through bodies, piss and blood to further her goal of medical enlightenment; Para in DD2 is a tormented soul who went in over her head and got broken, and now atones for... well, making a zombie out of an already dead man and genuinely i fail to see how is that use any worse than a regular autopsy. It's not like her professor felt it, or was trapped in that body or was turned into a zombie by a bite or something. He was already dead. So... dunno, maybe it's just me, but the sudden complete breakdown was... odd. Para I knew would’ve been motivated to push even further, to make that mistake count. Para from DD2 broke and gave up – which, in turn, makes no sense, since the timeline is DD2 backstory -> DD1 -> DD2, so she had to go to Hamlet and continue her experiments there and… alright, the timeline is another beast altogether, and I am not poking it here.
Another example is Audrey, the Grave Robber. In DD1 she was flamboyant and cocky, teasing and taunting enemies and allies alike, concerned about her clothes even in the heat of battle and undeniably selfish, in there for a thrill and money. She still referred to herself as a Lady, and was quite cheeky with everyone. We saw her backstory comic, and all it showed was the poverty of a high class lady, a presumably dead husband (?) and how she turned to grave robbing due to him being buried with his jewellery. Her barks referred to tea, ambergris and other high-end luxuries, so it was an easy timeline to map: a noblewoman (the title of Lady was only reserved for a wife of the currently ruling Lord, and I’d better stop here before I start poking heraldry and title inheritance) who got into debt for some reason (maybe even her own spending) and was facing eviction and social humiliation, and who decided to change her fate. That was it. No domestic abuse (although, I cannot argue that it wouldn’t be setting- and time-appropriate), nothing about her husband sexually assaulting her, nothing. Only her love for baubles and luxuries. For all we knew, she had spent the family fortune on those. I don’t think there’s any indication in DD1 which points to her killing her husband, really. Hell, we weren’t even sure it was her husband, some people headcannoned the guy from the portrait as her father.
But in DD2 she is shown as exclusively a victim – at home, she’s a victim of abuse, then she’s a victim of circumstance, she’s a cornered woman, desperate to get out and get better. It’s not her fault she poisoned her husband – he abused her! It’s not her fault she became a grave digger – she was forced into it! She isn’t a bad person. She was forced into those circumstances! She’s a good person, a hero! She was just in a very bad spot, really, please sympathise with her.
You mentioned Sarmenti, and I want to poke that one a bit, too. He, too, is very different to what was portrayed in DD1 and DD2. In DD1 his backstory was one of revenge for the humiliation he was faced with during his work in the court of the tyrant. However, it was never shown how or why would he come there. Again, for all we know, he worked there, and his barks about serving at children’s birthday parties supported that. We knew he was a jester and he worked as a jester. He was humiliated and took revenge by killing the court. How he summoned spears of dubious origin was never explained or addressed. With all the constant laughing he had in his barks, it sounded almost like he had PBA (pseudobulbar affect). If he actually had it, becoming a jester was really one of the few available options for him.
But in DD2 he is shown to be specifically a musician who became famous enough to become a curio, was tricked into coming to court, caught and kept there, humiliated in ways even Narrator refuses to specify and supposedly driven absolutely insane by the combination of that and some eldritch music magic he got. He wasn't even employed there. He was tricked, lied to, then abused. Again, an absolutely normal, arguably good person, driven up a wall due to horrendous inhumane circumstances to do evil— sounds familiar by the third time, isn’t it?
And this is why I call them squeaky clean. Heroes in DD1 were the agents of their downfall. They were arrogant, they made decisions which ended up in disasters, they were led by their greed, obsession or vices. But they had agency. Sure, they weren’t good people – but they were active forces in their lives, and what they did or didn’t do was just that – their action, their decision, their agency. It was never exclusively circumstances offering only one solution which happened to be a bad one. It’s not that they chose bad action because it was easy or they didn’t care or something else caused by heroes – they were put in circumstances where this was the only course of action they could do, and thus, they cannot be considered morally bankrupt for doing the only available thing. All of the backstories are now there to evoke sympathy and say “wouldn’t you do the same if you were put in the same awful circumstances?”. And this, to me, cheapens and flattens the heroes by a huge margin. Frankly, I’m even a little bit surprised the ‘redemption’ bit is intact, considering how much they distanced the heroes from the actual horrible things they did. Arguably, Alhazred is the only one who still does his backstory completely selfishly, but they don’t really show him as remorseful, too, and because of that it’s not as jarring.
But then again, heroes in DD1 didn't always seek redemption in Hamlet. For some, it was just... money, fame or a job. The high moral horse was a factor only to a selected few (looking at you, Dismas). It wasn't ubiquitous. And frankly, it made the motley lot more believable. People are different. People react to bad things differently. Hell, people cannot even agree on what "bad" is. Damian's favourite pastime for all intents and purposes can be Bigby's nightmare. Having different heroes having different reasons in their backstories helped them stand out against each other more, in my opinion. The way all of the backstories became only focused on redemption, and only pushing hard for sympathy after DD1's diversity is frankly a bit odd for me.
Again, RH are the canon makers and if this is what they wish to do with their property, more power to them. But to me as a writer it is disappointing.
I hope this explains it ^^ but feel free to ask more if you want to

Anyone else struck with the realization that maybe possibly the Audrey 2 violin might have something to do with Grifters Bone?
Let me elaborate- so, the part of episode 4 where good old ‘Augustus’ narrated how this guy wrapped up his fingers so the violin wouldn’t hurt him and ended up causing a massacre gave me some SERIOUS flash backs to Mag 42-
And if I remember correctly, that statement also describes the music at fault for the bloody mess as ‘beautiful’ and if we really think about it- nobody who we KNOW heard Grifters Bone described it as awful, as we are led to believe.
I think it might be something- it might not- but I think it might be cool-
Edit: I did some more research- and by that I mean listening to both statements enough that I have them completely memorized.
There is another part or Mag 42 in which it is mentioned that the one playing the keyboard has bleeding fingers. “As he placed his fingers on his instrument, they left behind dark red spots on the bright white keys.”
Now I’m not quite sure what that means. It could mean that there is more than one instrument that has this kind of effect, or maybe there are pieces of the violin within Grifters Bones instruments.
It’s also confusing that his fingers seem to be bleeding despite the massacre, which opposites the violin, where if it doesn’t take its blood from you it causes the massacre to feed it.
Again, I’m not sure why it might have changed like this, I’m just saying a lot could’ve happened to that violin over the course of 2 centuries.
The wording of Mag 42 and TMAGP 4 have strangely similar wording, and it seems way to similar to be coincidental. At least to me- 😅
End of Edit:
Anyways thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Another edit: SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE GUYS! I realized he didn’t write this episode! Full credit to Cole Weavers! I fixed it 👍👍👍

April 6: Dance
Day 6 of @hinnymicrofic
“I lied to Viktor Krum about you,” Harry says, suddenly struck by the memory, lodged from the depths of his brain by this familiar setting.
Ginny lifts her head from where it had been resting against his chest as they swayed, and stares at him as though he’s gone mad. “What?”
“At Bill and Fleur’s wedding,” he clarifies. “He thought you were fit and wanted to dance with you. I told him you were seeing someone he wouldn’t want to mess with.”
Ginny’s face splits into the teasing smirk he loves. “Did you really?”
“Well if I couldn’t dance with you, he bloody couldn’t, either.”
Ginny snorts inelegantly. “We could’ve danced.”
“I was impersonating a cousin,” Harry reminds her flatly. “That would’ve been a bit obvious, don’t you think?”
Her eyes glint with a challenge. “Why? What would you have done?”
Harry pulls her a bit closer, already snug against his chest. He can’t be too bold, not with all the Weasleys swaying around them, but he lets his hand drift a bit lower on her smooth back, dangerously open in her glittering dress. Her eyes meet his and her gaze is burning, and Harry wonders whether anyone will notice if they sneak away before Percy and Audrey cut the cake.
“Inappropriate for a cousin,” she breathes.
“Very.”
Her eyes remain locked with his. “I suppose it was all for the best, in the end,” she whispers. “I don’t much care for Seekers.”
Harry pinches her side and she squeals, cackling.

💛Sunshine💛 - The Scene
In which you all read about Spencer’s family life
Overall warnings: Overall warnings: mentions of sex, children, violence, regular cm stuff
Tumblr media
Spencer felt dizzy.
He felt like his whole world was shattering as he walked up the pathway to the safe house that wasn't so safe anymore.
He pushed through dozens of policemen and FBI but stopped when he reached the porch
No one had been inside yet. They wanted to wait for the BAU to get there first and there was no reason to suspect that anything was still going on inside.
Spencer was the first one on the scene. Morgan had stupidly called him while he was on his way to get coffee before he headed into the office.
Morgan told Spencer that the officer they placed outside of the safe house was murdered and her turned the car right around and sped to the house.
His heart broke when he saw that the door was wide open.
He slowly stepped inside of the house. He looked around and his heart dropped.
It was a mess. There was broken furniture, blood.
Blood.
He saw a bloody handprint on the door to the basement. The keypad was also covered in the red substance.
Maybe she and the kids got down. He thought, walking towards it slowly. He punched in the 3 digit number that he remembered from a conversation with Derek.
The key pad lit green and he heard the lock click. He slowly opened the door and peeked down.
His feet carried him down the stairs slowly and quietly. He stopped for a second to try and hear anything down there.
~
Joey sat against the wall in the darkest corner of the basement. Sadie was sat in his lap and he had his hand over her mouth.
He had heard the door open and quickly scrambled to scoop her up and away from the box of cereal she was eating out of. It scattered and spilled all over the floor.
Joey knew that Sadie was scared so he did his best to keep a smile on his lips every time she looked back at him.
He shut his eyes when the footsteps of whoever was coming down the stairs got closer. Sadie started to let out whimpers and he shook his head.
"Sadie, please be quiet." He whispered, almost inaudibly.
~
An open, spilled cereal box came into Spencer's view as he stepped on to the cold stone floor. He accidentally stepped on a few pieces and cursed.
He sighed shakily and looked around but the sound of whimpering made him freeze.
It sounded just like Sadie when she fell off her kiddie bike three years ago.
"Sadie?" He whispered out hesitantly, trying not to sound scary. "Sadie, bunny, is that you?"
~
Sadie ripped her brother's hand off of her mouth and crawled off of his lap.
"Daddy!?" She shouted.
"Sadie, wait!" Joey reached out for her but she rushed out of the dark and around the corner.
Joey scrambled up from his spot on the floor and ran after her, stopping when he saw his dad picking Sadie up.
"Oh, dad..." Joey tried to hold in a sob.
Spencer sink to his knees as Sadie hugged him tight. He looked over the girl's shoulder and held his hand out for Joey.
He ran forward wrapped his arms around his dad. "Are you guys okay?" Spencer asked, rubbing his children's backs.
Sadie could do nothing but cry into her father's neck and Joey was trying to get words out. "What h-happened to your mom? Where's Charlie?"
"Mommy locked us down here!" Sadie sobbed. "She was so mad!"
Spencer shook his head. "No, baby. I'm sure mommy wasn't mad at you. Where is she? Where's your brother?"
"He took them!" Sadie cried.
Spencer pulled her off of him and held her at arm's length. "Who, Bunny? Who?"
They heard footsteps at the top of the stairs and looked up. "Marcus Gellar." Derek spoke, placing his hands on his hips. "Marcus Gellar, Audrey's brother, is the unsub."
Spencer turned back to the kids and glanced back and forth between them. "Is that who you saw here? Uncle Marcus?"
Sadie nodded and Joey looked up at Derek and back down at Spencer. "He hurt her. He hurt mom."
"She was bleeding from her back and she fell on her belly." Sadie cried. Spencer wanted to cry.
He wanted to scream and cry and run out of that house and go on a rampage to find his wife and son.
But he had to take care of the kids in front of him. "Okay." He nodded. "Okay, I'm gonna find mommy but we gotta go, okay? We're gonna go home for a little bit."
"We get to go home?" Sadie asked through tears.
Spencer nodded. "Yes, baby, we're gonna go home."
Joey shook his head. "B-but we need to find mom and- and Charlie." He said, his breathing picking up. "M-om and Charlie are mi-issing!" He shouted.
Derek walked down the stairs and scooped Sadie up out of Spencer's arms when he noticed Joey's rising panic.
Spencer spun to face his son on his knees and he pressed his cool hands on his cheeks. "Joey, I need you to take a deep breath for me." He nodded.
"I ca-an't, d-" He was now gasping for air.
Spencer unzipped the boy's jacket, hoping that the tight feeling in his chest would go away. "Joey, come on. Breath with me." He placed his hand on Joey's chest and inhaled deeply, nodding his head.
Joey's chest heaved as a tear ran down his face. His chest stuttered as he tried to match his dad's breathing.
"Breathe with me." Spencer nodded once again.
Joey was finally able to take a slow, deep breath. He shut his eyes as he exhaled and Spencer gave the boy a sad smile. "There you go, Joe. Just keep taking deep breaths."
"Spencer." The man looked up at the top of the stairs. Emily and Hotch stood there. "We need to talk."
He nodded and looked at Derek. "C-can you take them out to the car?" He asked.
"No, daddy! Don't go!" Sadie began to cry again.
Spencer tilted his head. "I'll be right out, okay? I promise." He nodded. "Just go with Uncle Derek and I'll be right out to take you home."
Sadie nodded slowly and Derek and the kids walked up the stairs. He followed them but walked over to the kitchen where Emily and Hotch waited.
Emily cleared her throat, clearly uncomfortable and straightened out her jacket. Hotch's face was the same as always, stone cold.
"How did you guys figure out that it was Marcus?" Spencer asked as he walked over.
Hotch crossed his arms. "We'll explain that later. Right now, we need to talk."
Spencer bit his lip. "O-okay."
Emily sighed. "After we went to Marcus' safe house when we found out it was him, he was gone." She nodded. "And we immediately thought to come here but on the way, PD notified us of a call they got from across the street from Lisa and Cole's."
Hotch cleared his throat. "Marcus unfortunately stopped there before coming here." He explained. "The neighbors saw the front door open early this morning and went in. Both Lisa and Cole were found dead in the kitchen."
Spencer's heart hurt.
He didn't know how much more he could take. His wife and firstborn were missing, his unborn baby might be hurt, his wife was injured, his parents in law were dead. He inhaled deeply trying to choke down tears.
"Oh, Spencer." Emily whispered. She stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his neck. "It's gonna be okay."
All Spencer could do was shake his head. "We just need to find my wife and my kid. Then it will all be okay."
Hotch sighed. "Spencer, we also need to talk about the case."
Spencer pulled away from Emily and looked at Hotch. "Okay...?"
"You can't be on it."
Spencer furrowed his brows. "I'm sorry- what the fuck did you just say to me?" He asked, taking a step forward.
"Reid-"
"This is my wife and my fucking child we're talking about, and you really want me to just sit around and if nothing?" He asked, not even realizing that his feet carried him closer.
Hotch tilted his head. "Reid, I would refrain from stepping any closer to me." He raised his eyebrows a bit. "Step back and we can talk about this."
He shook his head. "No, I'm taking my kids home. My kids need to go home." He told them.
Spencer turned away from them and walked outside. He saw Derek buckling Sadie into the car seat in the back of his car and Joey was sitting back there with her. Usually he would get in the front seat but he wanted to be with his sister.
Spencer nodded at Derek with a thin, sad smile as the man tossed him his keys. "Reid."
He paused and turned to him. "Yeah?"
"We're gonna get them back." He nodded. "I swear. If it's the last thing I do, we'll bring them home to you, got it?"
Spencer nodded. "Got it."
.•.••.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.••..
HELLLOOOOOOOO
I hope you enjoyed this chapter! (This is not edited)
Now obviously it would be boring as fuck if Spencer just sat at home while his team kicked ass so...
WHOS READY FOR ROGUE!SPENCER??? I know I am.
Also Sades and Joey are gonna be so traumatized and I feel bad but it had to be done for the sake of ✨drama✨

The palette The Palette The Palette THE BLOODY PALETTE
The fact that they share a color palette with the canon couple - like you can't tell me - Also I like how it is a cooler palette for Helen and James and a warmer palette for Siegfried and Audrey
Conclusion - Season 5 is basically the culmination of the ultimate slowburn

Michael Audrey Myers 🔪
Tumblr media
- you were waiting him at home in a Halloween night then you decided to go take a look at the window when suddenly you saw him with his clothes all bloodied and some shot holes in his blue mechanic jumpsuit in the middle of the street chasing some stupid fake Blondie in only her underwear who was struggling to walk because she had a wound in her leg probably made by Michael
- you were shocked when the fake blonde bitch started to run to the direction of the Myers house and even more shocked when she took out a gun and aimed at your man resting her back against the door
- when she prepared to shoot Michael in the head even knowing that he wouldn't die you acted on instincts and opened the door making the girl fall on the floor and shooting the roof of the house
- still worried she would do something to Michael you straddled her hips and started beating her head against the floor gripping her stupid fake blond hair and not stopping until she pushed you of her and tried to aim at you
- until Michael saved you by kicking the gun out of her hands and smashing her skull with his hands until it was crashed.
-he looked at you before holding the body and literally throwing it out the door and closing it,then he came next to you and gently brushed his hands against you cheekbone and, after a long time he realized that he was scared he would lose someone again, losing you was something he could not allow himself to go through, you could see it by the way his shoulders gone up and down showing he was breathing in an accelerated pace that he was nervous.
- after this day he made sure he would not kill near your house when it was possible
- he became even more agressive towards the ones who came near the house. (If it was even possible lol)
-may god bless the ones that dare to try to touch you
- after this event everyone in handdonfield knew that you were his.
- you were known as the bride of the shape after this
» my final thoughts on this:
this sucks :(
(Sorry for the blondes out there 🤡)

Suddenly Seymour! See an exclusive first look at Darren Criss and Evan Rachel Wood in Little Shop of Horrors
The "Glee" and "Westworld" alums star in the Westside Theatre's off-Broadway production through March 31.
After her biting performance on True Blood and violent Westworld adventures, Evan Rachel Wood is no stranger to a bloody good time — but now she's the one in danger of being bitten.
The Emmy-nominated actress just made her debut as Audrey in the Westside Theater's ongoing production of Little Shop of Horrors alongside Emmy-winning Glee and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story star Darren Criss as Seymour, and EW has an exclusive first look at the new costars in action.
The Westside's award-winning off-Broadway production kicked off in October 2019 with Jonathan Groff as Seymour and Tammy Blanchard as Audrey, and has since seen a cavalcade of stars step into the roles. Recent Seymours have been Gideon Glick, Jeremy Jordan, Conrad Ricamora, Skylar Astin, Rob McClure, Matt Doyle, and Corbin Bleu. The roster of Audreys include Lena Hall, Maude Apatow, Joy Woods, and Constance Wu.
“The casting of this show has become one of the greatest joys of our lives,” Little Shop producers Tom Kirdahy, Hunter Arnold, and Rob Ahrens, said in a statement in December when Wood and Criss were announced as joining the cast alongside Bryce Pinkham as Orin the dentist and Stephen DeRosa as Mr. Mushnik.
“The fact that in year five, we continue to attract talent like Evan Rachel Wood and Darren Criss is a testament to Howard Ashman’s and Alan Menken’s Little Shop of Horrors being one of the finest achievements in musical theater — and to Michael Mayer’s perfectly and joyously staged production," the statement continued. "As two of the most daring, enticing, and dynamic stars of their generation, we cannot wait to see the magic that real-life friends Evan & Darren bring to their roles.”
Loosely based on the 1960 black comedy movie The Little Shop of Horrors (starring Jack Nicholson as Orin!), Ashman and Menken's Little Shop of Horrors follows the bloody misadventures of a well-meaning florist named Seymour as he attempts to raise a snappy, tough-talking, man-eating plant named Audrey II. Their musical premiered off-off-Broadway in 1982 before eventually hitting Broadway proper, then then became a movie starring Rick Moranis and Ellen Green in 1986.

Really looking forward to Audrey Hall no longer having the excuse of, "But I'm a married woman!" to keep her from having some fun. Of course, she may have the "but you're my employer! what would people say?" excuse but I think Siegfried's reply would be "so bloody what!?" "Ridiculous Creature". Now kiss! No vows. No ring. She's free! And I have a feeling that a determined Siegfried Farnon would be a lot harder to put off than Gerald Hammond.
