I always forget how iconic these first episodes of Legend of Korra are. Korra really just ran away to Republic City, destroyed a city block, forced her way onto a probending team and thrived.
God I love her.

The Great Divide may have been a silly little episode but that doesn't make it bad. Plot obsessed folk who want 8 episode seasons wouldn't get it

I love how real your characters feel. They’ve got their own hopes, dreams, fears, traumas, needs, wants and boundaries, and they also have their own pasts and their different ways of navigating their presents, and I just really, really like that.
I can’t remember the last time I experienced an IF where I’ve been like, wow, I can’t wait for these characters to grow to trust and open up to MC so I can learn more about them. We get to discover who they are, piece by piece, through their actions and what they say (and what they don’t), and I just think that’s a real joy and a privilege.
It’s late here, so I’ve run out of words a little, but I’ll just leave this last gush here: The Deep and post-Deep sequences have really stuck with me.
Thanks for sharing the Night Market with us, and for showing us around. I think I’ll stay a spell, if that’s okay? <3
I have always really enjoyed stories where you have to discover who the characters are. One of the things I like doing, is creating characters, and then tossing them into different scenarios because based on their backstories or what they've gone through, they're all going to react differently. I also think that its important that we have characters that are well loved, that may react bad to situations. Because in life, we all do that. We all tend to make rash or bad decisions sometimes but that doesn't mean the people around us just drop us (or at least they shouldn't).
I think that's really interesting too that you have such a connection to the Deep. That was the one chapter that I struggled with the most and the one that I still look at and angrily think I could do better. But, you are not the only one to love that moment. Though, I do think that was such a turning point for MC and for the story itself.
Thank you so much for your kind words. And yes, stay a spell. I would love that.

Infrans' Birthdays: April 15th, Allison 'Ally' and Jameson 'Jamie' Hatten, the Infrans of Life and Death
“For someone who’s clearly missing a brain, you sure are heavy—”
Ally elbowed her hard in the side. “We are literally the exact same size—”
As twins, they were both short and stocky with the same round, beige faces, flat noses, and dyed blonde hair, but no one ever mistook them for the other.

Look, I will flirt and shyly be receptive to A if it means getting a reaction out of all my LIs. I’m currently living for R’s reactions around A lmao I’m off to see the differences with everybody else!

We know Sherlock has stolen Lestrade's badge on multiple occasions. "I pick pocket him when he's annoying." (Study In Pink)
He did the same to Mycroft to gain access to government facilities. (Baskerville)
So, how many times do you think he stole Anderson's credit card?
