Draw Drarry Badly Challenge
I'm seeing so many creative posts that are featuring alternative art forms. So while this is clearly not a drawing, it is my submission to Draw Drarry Badly.
I wanted to keep the spirit of the challenge and draw some bad Drarry, but my artistic skills are so abysmal that I couldn't even bring myself to do that.
EDIT: Okay here ya go 😅 I feel bad for not including it.

I hate that in my book.ark collection there's no orange/yellow bookmarks because how am I supposed to match with pretty books like this?!

30/50 days of productivity
Tired. I am very very tired. With this being said last night I had a great time with two friends I hadn't seen in a while, which was definitely beneficial to my mental health.
Productivity:
practiced Irish on duolingo
continued reviewing out loud for my history of religions exam of next week (and no I did not finish it so I am behind schedule)
Listened to a couple of old episodes of the books unbound podcast
Self Care:
read first thing in the morning
📖: She Who Became The Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan

a little progress on my challenge!
i wrote about my little challenge here icymi.
tl;dr: i want to comment on at least 100 fics by the end of the year because i miss having a reading routine and want to support my fellow writers.
it's been super fun going through my bookmarks so far! discovered some all-time favorites and forgotten favs again as well as fics i had saved for later but later had become forever. honestly my biggest motivation behind this isn't necessarily getting back into a reading more, but more the thought of making someone smile with kind and unexpected words.

just saw a person on ao3 who bookmarks fics and leaves public ratings and criticisms of them in the bookmarks and hmmmmmmmm
i think people forget that unless you make a bookmark private, anyone can see it. a writer can see the criticism you’re giving them, even if you don’t comment it.
the bookmark comment i got wasn’t even that bad, i just saw worse ones when i clicked on OP’s account. they’ve written digs or unnecessary comments on most of their bookmarks (eg “umm nothing happened. i thought there would be more??” or “ummm not like amazing, also no plot, but like, i liked the idea”)
it’s never even occurred to me to bookmark something i haven’t enjoyed a lot, and i definitely wouldn’t leave a criticism - if i were to do that, i would make the bookmark private because i know how discouraging it can be for writers.
idk, i guess generally the fact that some people still think it’s okay to leave mean comments on fics is baffling to me. i still get the odd hate comment/criticism here and there, and mostly i just ignore because there’s no point interacting, but i feel like this bears repeating ; criticism of someone’s writing - when unsolicited - does so much damage. even when it is solicited, people should be more careful with how they handle it. one nasty comment is literally all it can take to break someone’s confidence.

Footprints
There's a bookmark that ported over from a browser I don't use anymore, that leads into a blog I haven't touched in years. All the links are broken, because they lead back to an earlier version of the blog that had the same name, turned defunct by time and a move. If I'm quick, I can edit them back into the proper URL, and see what's behind them once more. Little pieces of who I used to be.
I'm not sure where I'm going, or even when I am, but I look back and see where I came from, still.
