Completing a set of challenges grants the player both the reward for that location and a new ticket. It is hard not to revel under the joyful statues of Frog Isle. Those that visit the island are blessed with renewed purpose, as if any disappointment of what was lost is replaced with pride for what can be once again. The trees and vines of the island temple cast dancing silhouettes over the beautiful flowing falls. But don't be distracted by the tranquil display; something may be watching from the shadows. Serpent Beach is among few Ska'drin ruins still standing along the mainland coast. Its silent stones tell the sorrowful story of its long-removed inhabitants. No wonder it seems to always be under perpetual night. With the Realm in strife, most of the Brightmarsh's buildings have fallen vacant, abruptly deserted when the Vulpin left to serve as medics for both sides of the Crystal War. Those who wander into the old Leipori lands may find themselves lost in The Burrows, a seemingly-endless and ever-shifting maze of caverns under the Enchanted Forest. It is believed the fauna of The Summer Court instills great power, though none foolish enough to tempt the ire of the faeries has returned to tell tales of it. The aptly named Timber Mill is built on a major waterway, allowing for the precious arborous resources of Greenwood to be swiftly transported to all corners of the Realm. Once an affluent cultural hub, the Trade District shared a border with Greenwood and facilitated commerce between the North and South. However, constant skirmishes have left the city a shell of its former glory. Constructed from the ships of the pirates who originally settled the area, Fish Market has become a bustling trade hub for the whole of Greenwood, easily accessible by both land and sea. The Domain of the Abyssal Lord Raum. Souls suffer endless battle, only to be broken again and again by the Rage of the Abyss himself. These fields hunger for souls who have close enough to the Abyss to have crossed through it. The Hand of Justice is one who has heretofor escaped such a fate. An infernal gate between the Realm and the Abyss. It first emerged from the ruins of Seris, but has since been untethered. The rift now appears throughout the realm at the behest of an unseen force. A grim ship sails forth on a black horizon, buffeted by waves of lost souls in anguish. The Seas of Despair belong to the Abyssal Admiral Dredge, and its cold dark depths mirror that of his own wretched heart. The Archives contain far more than dusty tomes and antique scrolls. It houses histories and magics long forgotten by the Realm, insights to the nature of the Abyss, and some of the more enigmatic discoveries of the Deepwerks. The bulk of the crystals in use throughout the realm were sourced from Splitstone Quarry. Most of its inhabitants are Goblins, now peaceful, who have found lucrative work in the mines of the Realm. Stone Keep is the birthplace of the Magistrate, formed in the very location from where the Second Goblin Scourge was repelled by the first iteration of the Paladins, the Realm's Champions. The Magistrate's finest, troops and commanders alike, proudly hail from the heart of the Paladins' greatest accomplishment. At an elevation befitting its name, Dragon Arena once hosted magnificent bouts between some of the most powerful beings in the Realm for sport. Now, fights there are for a different purpose. Once a thriving city and training center, Warder's Gate now sits mostly empty since the disappearance of the Warders. Still a place of power, it has become home to proxy conflicts between warring factions. Strategically located not far off the western coasts of the mainland, Marauder's Port oversees the crossing from North to South. Whoever controls this area controls the west coast of the entire Realm. House Aico controls the Ruby Throne and stands as one of the most influential noble houses of the Realm. Sitting on the Throne is the head of the house, Lian. The Throne is flanked by Lian's closest advisors: the Primus of the House and her trusted knowledge-seeker. Some of the rarest and most potent crystals in the Realm have been found under its glaciers. One of the key strongholds during the Goblin Scourge, Glacier Keep stands to this day on the borders of the Frozen North. It originally belonged to a different noble family, but House Aico still keeps it manned in respect for the long departed. The reach of the Thousand Hands is vast and their numbers are obscured by shadow. They are everywhere, but the seat of Zhin's power lies in the Steppes of the Lunar Coast. The Guild works through secrecy; the more known the name, the less effective member they are to the guild. But times are changing, and the shadows themselves are carving a place to fit into this new world. Far from the wars that plagued the north, the Shattered Desert had kept its peace for centuries. To this day, the people of the Desert live by the light of the cosmos and worship the Moon Goddess Io. Even when faced with the corrupting influence of the Devourer, Yagorath, the people of the Desert have not lost faith, and have banded together to fight against the Moon Goddess' enemy. The sacred site where Jenos ascended to the heavens and communed with the Cosmos. Brightmarsh, leader of Marshclan, finds his home among the birch trees of the southern wetlands. Like all the past leaders of his clan, he served as a second until it was his time to lead. He teaches his clanmates the importance of respecting each other as well as respecting the land they live on, a land of which they have a strong bond with. Other clans see them as undisciplined due to their comparatively lax rules, but Marshclan cats know that compassion should come before control.
Brightmarsh is the most relaxed of all the leaders. He wants nothing more than to keep the peace and for everyone to get along. This makes him a great leader until is has to face the harsh reality that Shadeclan and Stormclan can be quick to argue and quicker to wage war. His compassionate nature makes him reluctant to fight, even if it’s the smart choice. On the other hand this allows for a close relationship with neighbouring clan, Echoclan and their leader Smallecho, who share some of his views. He is passionate about nature and using its resources carefully as well as being the best father he can be.

Any Pip headcanons for when he was back in Brightmarsh?
Well, I mean I like to think that Pip was the black sheep of his family. He never really fit in with his community.

About the current maps
Ok, this situation with paladins is making me rant, but I hope the team didnt remove those hidden lore elements in Magistrate's Archives, in this new update. Replacing those with superficial Abyss stuff would break my heart. (prepare for a longer and more descriptive rant than the one in my twitter)
The new maps, like Warder's Gate, disapoint me so much. Like, yes, they are pretty, but they are also empty like they have no history... I dont even know if Warder's Gate is supposed to be a temple's ruins or a new base of comands for the Resistance. I cant even tell if the place was used in the past to train new dragon warders from looking at it. There is no indication that anyone used that place and how they used it. There is not even a single (1 ONE! UNO! UM!) piece of furniture in that map. ITS EMPTY!!!! In the older maps, we had at least crates or books or barrels scattered around the place. And that indicated that it had been used or someone was trying to use it in some way.
If Warder’s Gate was used by an entire civilisation (Imani’s people), why isnt there art in a wall or a training dummy for battle practice, maybe something in reference to the dragons or the gautlets Imani uses? Where is the proof that someone stole treasures from the place or killed the inhabitants?
The only piece of lore that the map gives us is in its name, otherwise, when it comes to the story, it has no detail. (And if it does, please tell me where bc id love to know!)
Also, big question here: WHY DOES BAZAAR HAVE NO STORES????? Isnt it supposed to be the commercial place in the middle of a town with a MAJOR local religion of a godess??? Even Brightmarsh has more visible stores than Bazaar! Its ridiculous!!!!
I can forgive Shattered Desert, bc well, its in the middle of the desert and it has rune stuff and actual ruins around the place... But even so, like the other recent maps, it lacks detail in regards to the places history, they’re pretty places but with no identity or personality...
I miss the level of detail and storytelling maps like Splitsone Quarry, Brightmarsh and Ascension Peak have. And the fact the team gives priority to aestheticly updating a non-siege map instead of completly updating a siege map (Timber Mill) that constantly causes problems in gameplay makes me really sad and disapointed (even tho i know all, if not almost all, the dev team does their best for this game). I guess i just expected better :/

OuterTribunal!Pip AU if youd be so kind
5+ headcanons
uhhh pip decides he Cannot stand brightmarsh. cannot stand the softness of it. cannot stand the complacent, peaceful people who live there.
he joins the outer tribunal almost on a whim, but he finds that he fits in with the more... lassaiz-faire of them. they like his ideas.
he’s not PERFECT but he’s good enough
pip is probably not a great person here, let’s be honest. i haven’t kept up with paladins lore but last i checked in the outer tribunal were the magistrate’s own personal police force
Mean Ass Fox

Everyone out here like “team magistrate” or “team paladins” the real side to take here is clearly team and fuck BOTH of you” i.e. the willo position; this is also know as the “GET OUT OF MY SWAMP” position as outlined by the very miffed vulpines of brightmarsh.

This is so much fun. Don’t you guys think is so much fun. The only thing that would’ve made this more fun was if I used Bounce House instead of Ensnare.
I maxed out Buck’s cards on the latest PTS because I saw Joshino’s stream which featured flying Buck. Apparently if you max out Leg Day to level 10 you can leap to the point on Brightmarsh from just outside of spawn like nothing. I did this all through the match.
There might be a max limit of how far forward you move when leaping as well. In this clip I hit what I assume is some kind of skybox and just plopped down, I should’ve gone further forward onto the lower roof or into the doorway of the entrance to the point.

Aspenheart and her first litter, Wetkit and Lilykit!
Aspenheart is Brightmarsh’s (leader of Marshclan) mate. While she is gentle hearted with her loved ones, she isn’t afraid to take a stand and fight for what she believes is right. While Brightmarsh thinks all the clans should put aside their differences and try to get along, Aspenheart knows that that is naive, good intentions aside. As they say, opposites attract, and that has never been more true than with battle ready Aspenheart and peace keeper Brightmarsh.

Pip headcanon(s)
- Pip absolutely 100% only wants to talk about alchemy and his potions. Alchemy is his special interest and most other topics bore him to death. He constantly will try to inch the conversation topic to alchemy. Even when it's important Paladins meetings. Some members of the Paladins consider him rather rude because of this.
- Surprisingly, most of the other vulpin in Brightmarsh aren't even near as obsessed with alchemy as Pip.

Moji headcannons? Please I want to see about my baby
Headcanons for Moji and friends, coming right up!
-Mod Androxus
-Moji first found Po-Li when she was lost on a walk. The hatchling familiar was lured in by the smell of Moji’s rations, and helped her to light a fire so she could stay warm. The leipori were concerned at first that Moji’s new friend(s) could be dangerous, but quickly accepted the tiny Po who had nowhere else to stay.
-She grew up on the books of alchemists from Brightmarsh- the same texts Pip first learned from. Moji changed up the magic a bit after getting frustrated with alchemy and discovered how to perform spells and other sorcery.
-Moji bound Po-Li to her with a spell, so that her and the familiar could make sure one another are safe. It lets Moji keep track of Po-Li and Po-Li can use the bond to locate and rescue Moji in a pinch.
-Once, during another outing into the woods, Po-Li got off trail from a strange smell. When she followed it, Moji discovered a beautiful clearing with a single tree in the center. This tree revealed itself to be the gentle nature spirit, Grover. Moji and her village grew attached to him, and they both help one another out.
-Po-Li loves to take Moji’s hat in their mouth and chew on it. It’s a bit exhausting for Moji to keep repairing her hat, but even she admits that it’s cute. One time, she tried to make tiny hats for Po-Li. The familiar ate them.

Any other map not included in this nor the previous day’s question are to be considered neutral.
As for these four... 8)
Ice Mines and Frozen Guard aren’t that bad in trainings, but I remember playing and losing tons of casual matches in these two maps in particular, so much so that me & friendos eventually dubbed them “Salt Mines” and “Frozen Hell” respectively.
Bazaar and Shattered Desert are so bad news that players have a higher chance than any other siege map to lose a match. Against freakin’ bots.
Special Mention, albeit not marked in either daily question:
Brightmarsh.
Although it’s no longer that bad to my own taste, I still have memories of its early days release. I think that’s been also roughly when bots began to be stuck? All I really remember happening is this nightmare fuel:
