For some context: Natasha just disposed of a couple of goons and gained from them some more informations about the place to visit to continue her investigations (the VECTOR laboraroty). Now she’s getting back to the abandoned building of apartments where she left Bucky (who was asleep and finally resting) earlier that morning.

Nat remembers last night wasn’t the first time she had to take care of a sick Bucky, and goes back to one of their missions

(this is such a strong, heartbreaking moment for me! The Soldier was wounded, not even allowed to feel pain, but Nat starts talking to him, treating him like an actual human being, and he can feel her, and feels the night sky and even tries to smile <3 I’m crying!)

Natasha tells Bucky she’s going to the VECTOR laboratory hoping to find answers about who stole their blood and why (They fear the blood has been stolen to give bitrth to a new generations of enhanced humans, new widows and soldiers, and they can’t let it happen, can’t let other people suffer what they have already suffered their whole lives)
