Hello everybody! 

My name is Stephanie and I’m really excited to become part of the studyblr community. I’m going to start university really soon and the blogs I’ve found the last couple of weeks have made me really excited about it all. I may upload original content, I may just stick to share other blogs’ but what really has made me want to start doing this is how people get together to spread knowledge and good vibes because we all love learning.

I’m really passionate about books (I’m going to study literature), languages (I’ve been learning french on my own for a while now), films, art, music and photography (to mention a few) and I’m hoping I’ll get to meet people with similar interests (and not so similar as well, I’m open to everything!). 

Also: I’m from Colombia, so if you could recommend me some hispanic or spanish studyblrs I’ll be forever thankful to you.

New studyblr intro!

The basics

I go by Al, I’m 23 and my pronouns are she/her or they/them. I come from Spain and will me moving in about a month to Germany, so that’s nervewracking. 

What I’m studying

My main interest is biochemistry, I’m starting my msc this october in molecular biology, but I’m also on my second year of studying a second major in english lit and linguistics. Until the term starts, I’m planning on refreshing my german pretty intensely (currently at a low B1 level, hopefully we can kick it up a bit by the end of the month). 

What will you find here

For now, to-do lists that are related to learning german. When the term starts (5/10 for my english studies, 26/10 for my msc), hopefully pictures of study sessions and notes, if life doesn’t get to be too much. Probably some rants about the lab and lots of inner debate about whether to pursue a phd or not. If you know any fun challenges that I could attempt, please let me know!!

Anything/everything else

I’ve been a long-time lurker (seeing these posts in my TL reminded me to stop procrastinating and get back to studying) but I still don’t know how some dynamics work. Wtf does tracking your own tag do? Why is it a thing??

On top of everything, I do sports and theater. We’ll see how that turns out after moving, but hopefully I’ll be able to continue doing so next year hahaha. I’m useless at playing music or singing, but I adore seeing people enjoy their art and love listening to most kinds of music. 

Oh I’m also very queer. BLM. Support our disabled fellas. Please fuck off if you’re a bigot.

Yayyyy, mi parte favorita. Aquí me voy a explayar un poco pero bueh.

aka la razón por la que abrí mi blog y empecé a formar parte de la comunidad. Al principio me daba cosita empezar un blog de studyblr por mi cuenta porque creía que los studyblrs solo eran apuntes bonitos (y los míos no lo son tanto) y porque mi inglés es penoso a veces y no quería quedar en ridículo. Cuando descubrí a studyblrs hispanohablantes fue como omg gabri esta es tu oportunidad. Y aquí estoy.

aka la primera persona que me habló. Cuando tenía como, no sé, 20 seguidores o así me envío un mensaje. Me preguntó de qué parte de España era y me dijo que también le gustaban algunos de mis libros favoritos. Me hizo muy feliz que me hablase. Y ay, fue súper dulce.

@tbhstudying su canal de youtube ha sido todo lo que he visto este verano. En serio tenéis que ir a verlo, sus vídeos son geniales.

@emmastudies me quiero casar con sus imprimibles, me dan la vida, en serio. Otra persona muy maja por lo que he visto.

@carlostudyblr este chico es un caso aparte, me río la vida con él, es absolutamente genial. Tiene un canal de booktube que os recomiendo ver. (y si vais a su blog, ampliad las fotos de su bullet journal, risas aseguradas)
