Who needs Easter Bunny when you can have Easter Chinchilla?
Plus why round shape if not egg?
(I tried to take photos with Mjöllnir too but he's in his edgy teenager era and bite my finger instead :') )

Introducing Thea and Skippy, the most unlikely yet inseparable duo in the animal kingdom! Thea, the charming guinea pig, and Skippy, the adorable chinchilla, found their forever home with me over a year ago, under rather unusual circumstances… Their previous owner couldn’t handle their pregnancy and wanted them gone…
To my delight, I received these two precious souls already bonded together, and it was love at first sight for them—and for me! Thea, with her insatiable appetite, has mastered the art of giving extra cute looks to melt your heart and score some yummy treats. She’s a true outdoor enthusiast, and watching her munch on grass all day is a sight that warms my soul.
Skippy, on the other paw, had a rough start in life, having been through two previous owners. The neglect she endured in her first home broke my heart, and she lost her chinchilla buddy tragically due to lack of food. Thankfully, fate intervened once again, and she found refuge with Thea’s previous owner before finally finding her forever sanctuary with me.
Though a tad shy, Skippy’s curiosity is undeniable. She loves hopping around the house, exploring every nook and cranny like an adventurous explorer. Witnessing her joyful spirit blossom brings me immeasurable happiness and reminds me of the resilience these animals possess.
Together, Thea and Skippy have formed an unbreakable bond, proving that true friendship knows no boundaries. Their journey has taught me the importance of love, compassion, and giving these beautiful creatures a second chance at a happy life. I’m forever grateful to have Thea and Skippy in my life. Two tiny bundles of joy that bring endless love and light to my home.

I’m still alive! Very busy weekend, and I have two temporary residents at in the Rodentship!
This is Momma and Baby, and I am babysitting them. I believe Baby is 3 months old! So tiny! Also so loud? Baby talks to Momma so much.
The rats do miss their cage, they’ve been bumped to a one story cage. The chins leaving tomorrow and after a power wash the rats will be back in their mansion. 🐭
