I think the most upsetting thing about the drama with the movie Call Me By

Your Name is how people are now dragging "white gays" as if that lessens them as a person in the lgbtq+

community. Sure you might not like the movie, in fact you might even hate it! But all the insults towards this movie based on their skin tone is disgusting and disappointing. Because, believe it or not, just like you (and everyone else in the fucking world) you don't get to choose what the tone of your skin is. Not that it should even matter in 2018. Or ever really. Nor should it be a way/excuse to "drag" people or this movie.

So all in all, you're allowed your opinions about this movie, but if you're parading around bashing the movie with one of your main arguments (or an argument at all really) being "white gays ruin everything" and "of course the white gays ruin positive representation of the lgbtq+" please take a step back and think to yourself how it may make other people feel, particilly those "white gays" you are dragging who just like you, would like a place they can be safe and celebrated. Being white shouldn't cause you to have a negitive outlook on someone/a group of people, especially since i thought this community was all about #loveislove and #support. Believe it or not, not all white people are as evil as you make them out to be.

I bet you wouldn't be so confident in calling out the skin tone of the characters in the book/movie if it involved Black gays, Hispanic gays, or any other race that wasn't white.

And just so I don't get fucking yelled at for being a "straight white person" (which for some reason automaticall makes it so you're not allowed an opinion on anything lgbtq+ unless its 100% positive and yay go u)

This is all coming from a Bi Chinse Aboriginal who ain't out yet✌

After experiencing this town for several days. The richness of Chinese culture never disappears from Thai-Chinse people. Every action has a detailed meaning and believes in it.

As there are several shrines in Talad Noi that represent the Chinese culture and relate to my psychogeographical map that its a place that has an incent smell so I decided to study about the Oldest Shrine, Cho Sue Gong. An aesthetic Shrine that amazes people by the exterior engraving decoration. Investigating the meaning behind those decoration and the prayer ritual.

1. Between the gate and the entrance, there is this statute called Pee-Siah its a creation of lion, fish, and bird

2. Above the entrance, there is this outstanding model which is a part of Chinese drama

3. Through the entrance, you will see the Tee Gong and a statue of Shrine’s principle called Cho Sue Gong

So conflicted about this new role krystal is in talks for. I want her to get more experience of course& its been a while since we've really seen her act (the cameo in LOTBS wasnt much material &who knows what happened with her chinse projects still). This character (if the drama doesnt change much about her) could be good for her to broaden her skill set. However, im worried about so many things this drama is doing with the manhwa that i almost dont want her any where near it if its a trainwreck

Yeah, I was talking about this earlier today. I think it would be an interesting acting challenge, since it would force her out of her vaguely deadpan acting or the valley girlish acting of the heirs. I’ve not read the manhwa but her possible role is an evil witch right? Which implies some sort of sinister acting? Or incorporating subtleties where she seems like a good guy but cues the viewer that she’s evil? But yeah, the whole thing sounds a mess and knetz already sound mad she’s being considered.
