Figured I’d share this for Hypnos nation

I have a vintage red nightgown that’s so Hypnos core so I plan to add to it and make it into a cosplay. It has the same silhouette as his canon outfit so it’s kinda like my spin on Hypnos if he had more myth related motifs to the fit. More poppies and stars etc. it’ll take a while to make but when it’s done I’ll post pics.

Just figured I’d share bc I don’t see many alternate Hypnos outfit designs out there even though there’s SO much potential. Like bro there’s a ton of different pyjama designs out there to play off for that sweet sweet symbolism.

I ordered myself a replacement hanfu piece as a Christmas gift (I ordered one for my birthday and it came wrong, and then the shop ghosted me)

The replacement order was also wrong (different shop!) They apologized and are supposed to send me the correct one. Fingers crossed it gets here and is correct!

This is the order they sent me. Still a nice color, just not what I wanted. I think the colors fit Kazuha though, so I'll probably cosplay him in this hanfu :)

Wanted to try it on and take test photos before I restyle Kazuha's wig.

I wanna go to a convention this summer and I was thinking of cosplay ideas when I was struck with inspiration

I look like him, fluffy blond hair and green eyes. I even made a joke on tiktok about the time I had his post redesign hair exactly

However, I don’t like buying whole cosplays intended to be cosplays. I wanna make the outfit myself. For this reason, I’d probably go with this fit:

It’s the most reasonable one I could pull off I think. I wasn’t really fond of ns10 (it actually caused me to drop the show for a bit) but it’s honestly drip, and like I said, I think I could make this with enough green fabric lol

Though I’ve only ever sewn shitty accessories, so this might be very difficult for me…

Umh personally I didn't really say that I will, but that I'm seriously thinking about it, I found some materials and fabrics that would be perfect for him, but it is a cosplay that needs a lot of work.

Probably the part that holds me back the most would be the runes, although I recently found some very particular LEDs that could work, but I haven't decided yet.

Especially the various fabrics for the cape are really push me to do it, I've selected a few that would look really good!

What do you think, maybe I should do this? Do I add him to my cosplans? 😁

Alright y'all costumers, cosplayers, and apparel makers; what's the best way to make a corset?

I'm trying to make this dress into a reality

I've got the petticoat and hoop finished and the circle skirt draped and ready to sew, but this is my first time making a boned garment of any type so I need all the advice I can get!

I'm planning on using simplicity's 1183 corset pattern as a base and adding the straps and silver ribbon later.
