Had such a fun time cosplaying one of my all time favorite characters, still feels like a dream 💜 I’ve heard people say that cosplay is “a love letter to a character” and this is truly my love letter to my QUEEN. I’ve been obsessed with Temari (+ ShikaTema) since I was 13 years old and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would cosplay her. As I was going through the photos that we took I ended up in tears, it felt surreal to see myself as my all time favorite female character. My friend also ended up cosplaying Hinata and as we were going around taking pictures through this beautiful location, it felt like we were truly them spending time together. It was a day I’ll never forget!

Im pretty active in following COD cosplayers on instagram, and there's just something i need to say.

a lot of these 18+ male cosplayers follow 15-17 y/o girls who post pics that adults should not be looking at (i am NOT blaming the girls). and these cosplayers post sexual things on their stories and flirt with people in the comments, no matter the age. they even go so far as if they get rejected, they'll post self-pity things in their notes or on their stories.

too many men are using the personas of Ghost, Konig, etc. to prey on young almost adult/not adult women. it makes me sick. because it's clear that they're using these characters as ways to talk to younger girls/women and are not actually interested in cod or the characters. hell, most of these cosplayers have never even played the fucking game! it is a blight on this community and it needs to be talked about more.

my launchpad cosplay is done! 🛩️💥

i JUST finished it today although it’s been in the works for a couple months. i just couldn’t get enough time off from work to go shopping ugh

but i had a day off today so i went to several thrift and vintage stores, and finally found a jacket that works! i searched for two hours for the perfect leather jacket but couldn’t find one, but this cloth jacket is the perfect placeholder for halloween. it has a very small lapel but i easily safety-pinned it to the inside of the jacket.

i had originally bought a green cap for the hat since i wasn’t expecting to run into the pilot-style cap but when i saw it i just had to bring it home!

the scarf is just a spare piece of fabric i nabbed from an art thrift store, but it’s the perfect color and size for my needs. i pinned it to the neck of the jacket in the back just to keep it from slotting into the neck hole and so far it works really well!

the goggles were a gift from several years ago. i actually have one other pair that may suit the costume a bit better, but i went with these first because they’re more cartoonishly circular.

the boots were ordered specially for this costume but i wear them on their own every once in a while. they make me considerably taller!

this costume was SO much fun to put together and i can’t wait to wear it to my friend’s halloween shindig and give out candy!!

I love that Trigun Stampede has revitalized the fandom. New artists are creating things, old artists are jumping back in. There's so much new Trigun content be it '98, TriMax, or TriStamp based and I am just HERE FOR IT! A fandom that while existed, was dry and near forgotten for so long, has overfilled with love and excitement now!
