Camp Camp Counselorsona, Boo (OLD)

Old Camp Counselersona design that I don't think I've posted anywhere before, but I like how replicating the style it worked out and I might as well do it now <v<

Much like Gwen, they kept getting rejected by other work, so they became desperate and applied to Camp Camp. They're not very good at outdoorsy stuff, unfortunately :[ But they do their best to follow the other two counselor's instructions, much like a puppy.

They've been through a lot of accidents while working. They try really hard to engage with everyone's interests, and this, combined with their naivety, has led to a lot of mishaps where they are used by the kids for unruly plots. It takes a while, but they grow more of a backbone as the show progresses.

They're an easy victim, haha.

honestly i wasn’t sure how i’d deal with the camp counselor gig but LARPing my camp counselorsona is actually kind of fun ngl ngl. walking around with my silly little bucket hat and sunglasses and sling bag full of sunscreen and bug spray, playing tour guide and chaperoning people across campus, watching the other counselors get into wildly intense relationship drama despite the fact that they’ve only known each other for like five days total. i am having a BLAST

A lot of things about her original design were bugging me, with her being very pale despite being the daughter of Priss and Kevin, her blush being literal blotches on her skin and not blended in like every other muse I have icons of, her proportions were wack with how big her head was compared to her body, and her hair was just straight up stupid. I also gave her a tattoo that makes sense for her character (not sure if her other tattoos are retconned or not, we’ll see about that one)

I like this design a whole lot more!! I’ll have to redraw basically the entire icons but ehhh, we gotta make sacrifices in this day and age

Meet Morgan McAlpine!

She’s a 25-year-old grad student in Library Science who’s currently taking the summer off to be a camp counselor at Camp Campbell with a focus on a Book-making camp! (a combination of art and storytelling).

What’s Morgan doing here at Camp Campbell you might ask? Well, I guess you could say she’s working on her independence. Morgan is a twin whose lived with her sister all her life. The two have been inseparable since the womb, and one of the biggest reasons she impulsively took this job is to challenge herself to live without her sister for a few months. How’s that working out? Uhh, well, she had a panic attack her first night there, resulting in a much-needed phone call to calm her down. (the cherry on top following that phone-call was when she was informed they’d be telling GHOST STORIES that night!)

She’s working really hard to keep herself composed this summer, working past her usual dependence on her sister, and learning more and more about herself and what it means to make friends and work with other people. And did I mention she’s never, ever, EVER been to a summer camp that wasn’t in-city? It excites her to say the least!
