Example of sexual dimorphism in Castor Erectus. Individual females can vary greatly in hairiness, though in general they tend to have less and thinner facial hair than male individuals. In colder climates where more insulating fur is necessary, Dwarven females can often become indistinguishable from male specimens in terms of hairiness. Male Dwarves have an average height of about 135cm, or 4'5", and healthy specimens vary in height by about 10cm, or 4 inches. An average female Dwarf stands at about 122cm, or 4 feet, with a similar range of variation. The female's smaller size can be attributed to directing energy that could be used on growth to maintaining a healthy menstrual and reproductive cycle. Dwarves are mostly Herbivorous, (Though some communities of dwarves have been seen supplementing their diet with Crustaceans and small fish, often farmed in their constructed cisterns.) and as such they do not have a rigid distinction between gender roles. Both male and female Dwarves engage in food gathering, den maintenance, defending from predators, and caring for young. Dwarves are generally monogamous, and live in close familial units called "colonies". but as their territory expands, multiple offshoots from the same familial source often band together and form a larger colonies, working together to control the flow of water and resources in their territory. These large colonies generally form in response to pressure from predators, environmental changes, or pressure from competing colonies.

Native to the feywild, Witchfire Foxes are equally likely to lead travelers to safety or their demise. But you're hopelessly lost, and the forest is dark and cold. What choice do you have but to follow the glowing tail down the winding path before you?

Giraffe Crab
A hybrid creature I drew. It's a giraffe and a crab in one! I'm actually a bit proud of this one, though some of my friends find it a tad disturbing. Usually, the giraffe crab will walk around the seabed like normal crabs. It tends to scout around for food by slowly extending its legs as it looks around with its big long eyes. It tends to keep its spawn on its body as extra protection for itself. In return, the kids get scraps of their parent's food. Whatever spawn survives leaves when they're too big to attach themselves to their parent anymore.

An alien hive queen was captured and used for experimentation. Her brood adapted rapidly to its environment to vastly enhance their survival rate, so the individual spawns were isolated in their own unique cells for further testing. -- Athamagest was a worker spawn from the queen, subjected to the most intense mutilation and experimental drug testing; in response, it developed rapid regeneration, caustic blood, the ability to spawn it's own children, and more undiscovered mutations. -- In his ultimate experiment, the lead scientist implanted a unique flame into Athamagest's body that, if absorbed, would bestow the owner immense extraordinary power. The experiment was successful, however while still connected to the queen. Athamagest's only desire was to escape and this manifested in the flame it now bears, granting it the ability to travel between dimensions. -- Now Athamagest possesses its own will, and breeds a hive army of its own on other worlds with the ultimate goal of returning to free its queen. --- Commission work for a client.
