🌱 03.31.2024 I've been experiencing anxiety lately. Midterms just ended last week, but there are still assessments to do. I'm too tired and drained to start working on it. While I'm glad my professor told us that all assessments will be due by next week, I still don't feel like doing them early. Sheesh, this is stressing me out. For now, I'm just gonna crochet and play stardew valley.

Whelp I jumped from making my first normal doily to this monstrosity! It took me about 3-4 months, and 300 some odd hours to complete. It’s about 48 inches in diameter.

I used size ten red heart crochet thread, and what was supposed to be a 1.74 mm hook, but I have suspicions that it was larger.

The last thing in need to do is block it and weave in that last end. I’ll get better pictures after doing all that.

This is the first part of the pattern I used for the doily (this isn’t my pattern). There’s seven separate parts that you can stop at if your not interested in making the full thing!

I used a picture for reference and then improvised, and im so happy it came out so accurate to the pattern and to my vision. I'm proud of my improvements ♡

sometimes i feel like i don't measure up to other artists/crocheters, but i need to just remind myself im on my own journey and i HAVE improved and thats the most important part ☆

i’ve finished my replica of fez’s blanket from euphoria, which you can see in the second photo. it’s not exactly the same but i’m really happy with the results. this won’t be going on my etsy page, as it’s just a personal project to keep me warm when it gets cold.
