The thing about Sophie was that, when she set her mind to something, she was absolutely determined to complete it. Whether one saw this as a virtue or a flaw, one had to find it at least a little endearing. Or, at least, Sophie hoped that Aedus would find it endearing as she ran full pelt down the street towards his home, and thundered on it with a clenched fist.

When he opened the door, he would see his girlfriend, ginger hair bushy and falling into her face, her nose and hands and pink apron dotted with flour. She was slightly out of breath, breathing heavily yet still grinning as she waved at him, sending flour everywhere. "Hi, babe!" Her words came very fast. "I'm sorry to bother you so late, but I decided to make cupcakes and I completely ran out of eggs! I'd go to the store but I think they'll be closed because it's so late-- and I really don't want to break off because I'm in the flow, you know?" She finally paused to catch her breath, and offered him a sheepish grin.

"Sorry. But I just really wanted to make cupcakes!"
