In the alternate universe (Earth-1755) where Spider-Man's big number #1 hater J. Jonah Jameson get bitten by a radioactive spider and become Spider-Man, except, Jonah thinks that name is stupid and adapted his alter ego name to "Headline", he's wearing a suit with covered in a newspapers along with a cape designed by Peter Parker (who's serves as Jonah's guy in the chair)
Instead of the iconic motto "With great power, there must also come great responsibility", Jonah's mantra is "With responsibility, there must also come great accountability"

It's Wednesday! - Howard the Duck #1 50th Anniversary Short
A little 8 pager I got to help out on for Howard's 50th Anniversary and it's right up my alley with a retro look! Was able to go mostly flat and have fun with textures and palette on this one. Inked in a wonderful way by Annie Wu with a great duck as a president story styled by Daniel Kibblesmith! Out today : D

Howard the Duck Gets Special One-Shot for 50th Anniversary
To celebrate Howard the Duck’s 50th anniversary, Marvel Comics is gifting the private eye with a special giant-sized one-shot. Creative teams for the anthology include Chip Zdarsky and Joe Quinones, Daniel Kibblesmith and Annie Wu, Merritt K and Will Robson, and more.
“Meet Howard. He’s a hard-boiled P.I. with problems by the duckload. But a cosmic, all-seeing friend(?) known as the Peeper(!) is giving him a chance to see what his life COULD be! The joys he COULD have! All the ways his life COULD suck way less than it does now! In other words: ‘Whaugh If?’“ (Marvel Comics)
Howard the Duck #1, featuring a main cover by Ed McGuinness and a variant cover by Ron Lim, goes on sale on November 29, 2023.
