I'm particularly drawn to narratives that delve into the aftermath, where the grand story has concluded and what remains is the 'what comes fter'. Such stories often are about heroes and legends adapting to the ordinary, finding beauty and purpose in the tranquil aftermath of their once tumultuous lives. It's especially interesting to me when these muses navigate their existence after their prime; revealing a relatable, humane side to their epic histories.

Astrid's tale is a good example of this. She's ascended to remarkable heights at a yougn age, became renowned across multiple lands as a prodigy and the Royal Knight Captain. That and she's vanquished multiple evils, from a Demon King, to even a pure evil being. She could have easily basked in perpetual fame and worship. Yet her story takes a different path - one of introspectiong and simplicity. She chose to step away from a life saturated with fame and conflict and embarked on a journey of self-discovery and peace.

It's a story about exploring the uncharted territories of life after glory, seeking not the praise of the masses, but the quiet satisfaction of a life well-lived and being true to herself. In this new chapter of her life, Astris is less concerned wit hher legacy and more focused on savoring each moment of her journey, truly embodying the joy of discovery and the simple pleasures foudn in the quiet after the storm.

Normal is the weird kid at the school, and he is the adopted brother of link.

Link is the “Boy next door” type perfect, lots of admirers.

Hermie is a different brand of weird kid, he does have friends but she is standoffish and rude to everyone, including his nephew.

Taylor is new at the school, and already head over heels for one Lincoln Li-Wilson. He’s devising a plan to ask him out.

Erica is a popular girl that likes to befriend losers, like Taylor. So far she’s Taylor’s only friend and is attempting to help him get the attention of his crush. Does she have a crush?

Ramona is the head cheerleader and is super rich, she only wants to date link because of a bet with one of her friends but she will do anything to win that bet.

Scary is Normals only friend, she’s slightly less weird then him according to the students of the school but she chooses to stick with normal. The only other person she would consider getting close with is her crush.

Shmegan is slightly less popular then link and silently detests that fact. She wants to be the one that Ramona is tripping over. She’s links best friend though.

Marco and Grant are overprotective parents, going to far as to implement a rule that Link can’t date until Normal does, knowing that normal is super unpopular. They just want to keep their kids safe from heartbreak, though they have unconventional ways of doing that.

Terry jr. Is the kind of teacher that students like to confide in, be also curses in his class so some people automatically like him better. He’s normals favorite teacher though normal would never tell him that. He’s also scarys stepdad.

Erin is the beloved school counselor for her abrasiveness and her charm. She loved plants and has so many that they are overwhelming her office.

Okay now here’s a summary I wrote

Normal moves in with link, grant and Marco. Taylor is a transfer student from chapperal high as he went to live with his uncle, when he arrives at Saint deemus he meets Erica Drippens and she becomes his best friend. When showing him around the school she introduces him to link, the shy jv soccer player. Taylor falls head over heels. We learn later that there’s one obstacle, links adopted brother, Normally Oak Swallows Garcia Li Wilson. Their dads have a rule that Link can’t date until Normal does. So Taylor’s quest is to find someone willing to date the weirdest kid in the school. Maybe his uncle will be up to task, or maybe he’ll just have to live without the boy of his dreams.

ANYWAYS OMG THE NEW EP WAS SO CUTE, VIRGIL AND PATTON NOTICING RO AND LO BEING DOWN AND TRYING TO COMFORT THEM BUT DOING IT A LIL WRONG AND THEN TRYING AGAIN AND DOING IT RIGHT IT WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED

“Karma Akagi.” The knight would introduce herself to the other, mimicking the bow as where she was from, bowing wasn’t a necessary sign of greeting. “And, you need not worry about business, I have been acquainted by above standard hospitality which I will extend my gratitude towards.” She would present a flask with a light smile “This is our finest wine from my homeland. When entering someone’s home it is customary to bring gifts. And when the gift is alcohol, it is meant to be shared amongst everyone.” When she said home, she meant the kingdom Gladell, this was a normal ritual her people was accustomed to.

“I’ve been told of your retirement, but it seems your name, along with your sisters, holds a profound significance among your keep and I intend to see what you can do. But for now, shall we share a drink?” Karma was upfront with her intentions, there was no reason for her to hide it. After all, her job as to seek out new lands and make relations with the people and kingdom in the name of her own king. Learning new skills and techniques was just a positive byproduct.

The elf seemed content as she tended to her personal patch of flowers in the castle's garden. Thankful to the gardeners who let her be able to be a part of the array of beauty they made the royalty they all loyally serve.

Rising up to notice the presence of a woman that the court was treating as an esteemed guest to the fae kingdom of Aberdeen nearby. "Ah, our guest--Lady Deemus, am I right? Good day, are you enjoying your visit so far?" Admittedly fair folk kingdoms were ones of secrecy and did not open their doors to many outside forces, even other fair folk. However, it seems that now the Aberdeen Kingdom is more willing to build connections. This is something she is actually pleased with, the nation is such an isolated isle it was surprising to know people without fae heritage existed.

"Your visit was at such a good time, these camellias just bloomed not too long ago. You'll be staying for the Winter Blossom Parade later on in the evening, right?" Her speech though still sounded polite and respectful to the retired, experienced knight sounded a lot more casual than earlier in the day when she standing at her princess's side.

While the Time Patrol was, by no means, short-handed, there was always joy to be found in the sight of a new recruit. “ Well, then, you can just call me Nio, Astrid! Welcome aboard! If ya ever need more info on anything, you can always ask me. “

When it came to patroller duties, she was like a walking encyclopedia. She didn’t study everything about the time patrol in a single night for nothing, after all.

After Han dismissed the no-stake holo-sabacc being played in the Lounge, they told Han they could find underground sabacc being played for stakes by the crew of the ship in the Engineering Room. They wore braids in the “Ming Po style”. 

Deemus Abrus | Identity: wlw | Media: The High Republic Midnight Horizon

Deemus Abrus was the chief inspector of the Coronet City chapter of the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts, which somehow gave her law enforcement powers. She was involved in an entrapment scheme by Crash Ongwa’s security company where they provided the famous signer Crueefla a sapient Bonbrak to eat, as she had a history of eating endangered animals alive. Deemus arrived to arrest her right as she was about to do the deed.

A Twi’lek, Deemus was described as portly. While arresting Crueefla, she made sarcastic jabs at the singer. As she left, she flirted with Smeemarm. At the end of Midnight Horizon, she returns to pledge her help to Crash and her company to help them prevent Ovus, a city father who was helping the Nihil, from consolidating power over all of Corellia.
