- fitmc and madagio animatic based off new invention by idk how but they found me, specifically the “im having bad dreams. and nothing you can do can keep the bad things away from me until i fall asleep…” part. might touch on my robo!fit idea but probably not. a scene of fit awaking up in his elevator shift room to seeing a cat and it morphing into madagio.

-fitpac animatic angst based off sever the blight by hemlocke springs. “i see the flowers in his hands, blue bells and dahlias tied with a white ribbon. they are my favorite. i heave a sighing breath…” LORD THIS SONG MAN scene of pac giving fit flowers and it’s hazy like a memory. it pulls away at the “i heave a sighing breath” to fit being scared and anxious looking up at madagio during the climbing “ah” part of the song. still frame of madagio during “love is miles away” then cut to a scared looking fit during “will i still wait here for you?” then next couple lines being to pac slouched over a bathroom sink in front a mirror then looking up to see a prison outfitted version of himself. there’s a part of the song that says “im no snow white, the fairest of our land” and it’s pac look BEAT from purgatory, looking mad rough and ready to kill. next chunk of lyrics is with both of them staring at each other thru the prison doors (like the clip of fit finding pac in prison) I CAN RANT ABOUT THIS IDEA FOR HOURS , PLEASE ASK ABOUT IT LMAOOO

A little snarky, smokes a lot, but is the type of dude you’d call if you were in trouble, Cypress is good in a crisis. He doesn’t panic easy and just generally has a very easy going personality. Really good with the spirits of kids too and does occasionally take on some keres related duties when there’s need. 2016 Reading List

In 2016 I set myself a goal - no rereads.  This was significant because a majority of my reading throughout the year is usually rereading old favorites. They’re tried, true, easy, and somewhat less taxing to a brain already thoroughly taxed (and usually sleep deprived) - but after making it to March having read only new-to-me titles, I decided to make it a year-long challenge and I am so glad I did. I discovered some amazing authors that I may otherwise not have picked up and really expanded my horizons. I read several things on recommendation although they were outside of what I would normally have chosen, and a few of them (The Buried Giant particularly stands out) were absolutely breathtaking. I read 43 books in 2016, so fell short of my 50 book goal. I’m going to aim for that this year and see where we land - it should be easier, because this year my focus is going to shift back to rereads, this time with an eye towards analysis. I’ve learned a lot about writing, structure, and plot over the past year and want to revisit my old favorites to see if I can find their plot points, their pacing, and what makes them so satisfying to read over again, in the hopes of improving my own storytelling. Even so, I want to keep branching out and trying new things, and spend some time delving into older classics that I’ve never gotten around to.

Verv is what happens when you blend his parents but remove the violence. He’s a bit snarky, a bit reckless, great at what he does, and values being able to just do whatever the hell he wants.

He can draw energy from anything and can take the smallest, most mundane objects and imbue them with magic. Half the time he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it because it’s just so second nature to him. He is, however, absolutely terrible with time and is more than a little scatterbrained on a good day.

He gets on fine with several of his siblings and even his nieces and nephews, but he’s not overly fond of some of them (Valerian, Kai, and Marissa being The Big Three here, he trusts Chance more than he does them).

He met Wylie at random and was almost surprised he had stumbled across a Daniels witch that had no idea who or what he was. It did not take long for the two of them to start dating or for Wylie to move in with Vervain.

She’s partially named for Alexi’s mom because, while Ava’s not fond of Eleanor, she is very fond of annoying Alexi and it seemed like something that would irk him forever and she just…needed that in her life. Evelyn actually took after Ava a little more and works more with souls than she does magic but she’s not above getting her hands dirty with her siblings either.

Out of all of her siblings, Ren is probably the one she likes the most? Which is…not exactly a great thing? She’s more functional than he is in terms of emotions, but that’s a low bar. Bells and Valerian sort of annoy her, but she does care about them…mostly. She even has a matching tattoo with Belladonna.

Evelyn has few friends and she would prefer to keep it that way.

Amaranth is not a nice person. Her manipulative nature coupled with a natural talent for magic makes for a dangerous combination. She can mirror people fairly well, play up the pretty girl routine even better, and people often trust her despite that prickling along the back of the neck that generally warns prey to run when a predator is near. She doesn’t have Bell’s ease with people, she actually has to work at it, but she’s good at it. Valerian is her favorite sibling but that doesn’t mean she holds any real fondness for him or any of the others. He’s just the one she gets along with the easiest.

While not prone to dating, she does have a few casual hookups that she keeps up with. She doesn't really care what happens to them, but it's nice to have people that know what she likes sexually.

Belladonna is definitely her father’s daughter, there is no doubt about that. But she has her mother’s sarcastic recklessness in spades. It’s a good thing she’s more on the immortal side or it could really get her into trouble.

The first time she really did any kind of magic, she had been a mere child, in kindergarten of all things. Another child had pushed her and Belladonna had punched him the face, hard enough to give him a bloody nose, and then she repeated a spell she had read in one of her dad’s books. The boy ended up in a coma and she was no longer allowed to attend public schools. None of them are exactly sure how she managed to remember that particular one or how she had learned to pronounce the words correctly since Latin wasn’t exactly something she knew all that well at the time.

Much to her mother’s eternal frustration, Bells hasn’t mellowed out at all since growing up. But, every time she’s told that she’s going to be the death of her mother, she just rolls her eyes and laughs because her mother is immortal and too dramatic some days.

Bells is fluent in English, Greek, and Latin, she has a decent grasp of German and Gaelic. She knows a small amount of Spanish and French, but not nearly as much as she probably should.

Despite all of the chaos that comes with her chosen line of work, Bells is very devoted to her husband and kids. She also has a habit of just adopting grown ass adults and bringing them home with her when it suits her.

Her favorite band is Creedence Clearwater Revival and her favorite place is Waffle House.

Lose yourself in a Dream

intelligence. you're a soul that overextends yourself in all aspects to make up for the fact that you're not a disposable cup. you haven't let yourself breathe in years, instead choosing to make yourself 'useful'. whatever that means to you- throwing yourself into an interest so you feel like you know something, holding together a barely stable friend while you yourself are tape and glue, etc etc. i promise it's okay to not always know the answer. things will get better because you're better at things than you think. so keep that heart pumping, yeah? there's plenty of people that want you around.

love. you're soft hearted, and that's okay. despite feeling unnoticed and undervalued, you've kept it up. you're still doing a great job. i promise it'll be worth it to keep your heart open. people will notice you and treasure you like you deserve. you'll accept the kindness you never got before, and give just as much in return. things will get better because you let yourself feel. so stay kind, yeah? there's a lot of people who haven't gotten to feel the wonder that is loving you.

perseverance. whether you recognize it or not, you've got a strong soul. your last thread of hope might be fraying and thin, but it's still there. you're still holding onto it. i promise it'll be worth it to keep holding on. over time, you'll notice that it's easier to grab. you won't feel so weak anymore because things will be easier. things will get better because you command them to. so keep your head up, yeah? you've still got some people to prove wrong.

bravery. you've hardened a shell around the person that you used to be. there was only so much you could take until you needed to gain control, change the only thing you could. you might think there's only a yolk left inside, but there's so much more. in the corners and in the crevices, there's pieces of you that you never got to meet. i promise that little kid is still in there. things will get better because you're good at breaking through things. so keep yourself together, yeah? that little kid still hasn't seen the rest of the world yet.

The sarcasm wasn’t helping. Delaney had his head lowered a bit, feeling as if he was a scolded child. He had to explain the more detailed version of his history with the Mistral black markets and of course it went over just as well as it always did.

“I don’t know... You don’t have to look at me like you’re disappointed.” He looked away for a second, trying to hid the bit of shame he felt. Yang could very much look at him like that, but that didn’t mean he didn’t hate it. The tsking certainly didn’t help his mood.

“Listen, I haven’t been anything but honest since the beginning. What was the point of tellin’ you what I did back then in specific detail? I told you it was stuff I wasn’t proud of to get by, and that hasn’t changed.” The faunus returned his gaze, looking the woman right in the eyes. “It’s important to know now because we’re in Mistral. I know people remember me and the fact who we’re looking for is the most taboo fuckin’ bandit on this continent kind of leaves us in a dangerous situation.”

The idea that Yang’s mother was Raven Branwen was still sinking in with Delaney. That name was such an ill omen to some he didn’t even like saying it out loud.

“If you don’t want to trust me, I get it. If I can’t ask you to trust me, then at least trust Dunstan. He’s had more faith in me than anyone.” Anyone who wasn’t his mother, but right now that wasn’t going to be an effective persuasion for his case. Dunstan had been nice enough to give them the lead, but at what cost Delaney wasn’t sure. “If you want to talk about it later, I will. Whatever questions you got, I’ll answer.”

He tucked his hands in his pockets, looking away again. He wasn’t intending on having the surrounding area distract him, but something seemed unnaturally familiar.

ಥoಥ for all of the main team

ಥoಥ: How are they like when they cry? Do they just stream tears nonstop? Does their nose get clogged to the point that it’s hard to breathe? Is it easy for them to speak when they are sobbing? Do they hiccup when they cry? 

Olivine: She’s a rather quiet crier. She’s very well spoken despite being upset, but tears tend to flow and not stop until she’s better. Being the daughter of a doctor, it’s very easy to avoid congestion. Olivine has a habit of becoming very languid and clingy when she’s crying.

Russet: Russet does all kinds of crying. She’ll ugly cry, softly sob, wet faced, hiccups and everything. It always depends on what she’s crying about however. She lives vicariously through her emotions. If she’s ever crying quietly to herself, she often not wants to bother people.

Chroma: If Chroma is ever found crying then there is a significant problem. She becomes silent and shuts down in a corner. Sometimes she forgets to breathe, but refuses to speak at all whatsoever. Any attempts to make sound naturally is often hitched and broken.

Delaney: This guy is a subtle man, and thus tears come slowly and he’s rarely vocal about it. He won’t hide it though, and few things get him riled up enough to express his sadness any worse than just sitting and letting it happen.
