The Not So Secret Life Of Misfits

"Don't you guys have people to do this? Or at least have it delivered?"

Stephen sighs softly as America follows him down the bread aisle of the grocery store. She had mentioned that while he was not the same Stephen she had known, he was still who she was used to and was sticking to his side for the better part. It didn't bother him, especially since he was used to it with Valerie, and the little girl was more attached to him than America was being. America was still adjusting.

Suddenly having rich parents was definitely an adjustment. Stephen remembered how every single one of the boys had their own way of getting used to things.

"We usually have it delivered, but sometimes I need to pick up a couple of things and it's nice to get away from the chaos." Stephen finally answers as he grabs a few loaves of bread.

"So…I'm still a little confused. How many kids do you have?" America asks while leaning against the cart. She quickly decides to take it for a joyride instead and rides it up and down the aisle as Stephen looks at the bagels.

"Depends on what you mean." Stephen says.

"Well, I heard Tony call Cassie your kid but she doesn't stay upstairs with us. And then that girl…Kate? She comes over this morning and calls you Mom." America looks at him sheepishly when she accidentally runs the cart into Stephen's hip but he just puts his things into it.

It hadn't been the first time he was hit by a shopping cart. Peter was the first and the rest followed. Every single one of them decided at one point to take the cart for a joy ride and ran into him, except William and Valerie of course. Lucy hadn't yet but it was only a matter of time.

"In that case I have…" Stephen stops to think about it, counting under his breath. "Thirteen? Including you?"

America gapes at him. "What, so you have more?"

"Yes. They're called the Avengers." Stephen snorts, leading the way to the next aisle and leaving America to follow with the cart.

"I thought Bucky was joking when he called you Mom."

"It started off that way, but it sort of stuck."

"Do you like it? Being Mom?" America asks softly and Stephen looks at her after grabbing some cereal.

The question threw Stephen for a loop. Nobody had asked him the question. At least not directly. The closest anyone ever got to it was Peter and that was just to ask him if it was really okay to call Stephen "mom" after his slip up all those years ago. Now that he stopped to think about it for a moment, he couldn't see his life any differently. He loved his kids, his husband, even the Avengers. It was a family he didn't dare think of giving up for anything. It made him sympathetic to America's situation. The poor girl had bounced around countless universes until she heard of this one. One where she thought she could have a chance to have a family again.

And when they welcomed her with open arms, it left her reeling. Hence the questions.

"I do actually." He answers. "Does it bother you?"

America shakes her head immediately with wide eyes. "No! It's just…an adjustment compared to the you I knew. I don't feel like a burden here. Am I?"

"No." Stephen says immediately. "You're not a burden. Don't ever think you are. It took a lot of reassuring for the boys to not feel that way anymore when we took them in."

For the next few minutes, America follows him in comfortable silence as they shop, until they get to the dairy section.

"I know you said you come to get away from the chaos, but how come you brought all of the kids?" Just as the last word leaves America's mouth, Diana runs over with a bag of goldfish crackers, putting them in the cart when Stephen nods.

"Where's your sister?" Stephen asks.

"Sissy is coming. She saw you walk down here and said to go ahead. She said she needs to grab some toothpaste for Uncle Scott and Uncle Quill." Diana answers.

Stephen hums in acknowledgement and turns his attention back to America. "Because my kids scatter and find a snack they want. They don't cause trouble…at least not anymore."

"Oh…makes sense I guess. But not Lucy?"

"Lucy is content to stay at home with Tony and get covered in grease," Stephen rolls his eyes. "It's probably for the best anyway. She's very…energetic."

"Mom's just afraid that Lucy will climb the shelves and then jump off with that happy screech she has." Cassie elaborates when she walks over and America laughs.

"Yeah I did see her climbing the bookshelves the other day."

"We have to keep her away from the personal gym too," Thomas adds when he seemingly appears out of nowhere with white cheddar cheez-its and mumbles, "There was an incident with the pool."

Cassie powers his voice to say, "Lucy jumped in without a care in the world like she usually does. No life vest or floaties so she sank to the bottom immediately. We've…never seen Mom so freaked out."

"He jumped in after her before any of us could even react and kept her at his side for the rest of the day." Thomas adds. "We heard him having a nightmare that same night."

"He had a nightmare?" Cassie whispers.

Stephen froze while reaching out for some butter. Despite Cassie and Thomas's attempt to tell the story quietly, the sorcerer still heard their words and had to take a moment to collect himself. The pool incident was still fairly recent so it was still fresh in his mind, and it made his chest tighten. He had gone in after Lucy without a second thought and she had been unperturbed by the situation, but to Stephen, it was almost like reliving a memory.

A memory that still haunted him after almost 20 years when a similar situation arose. It happened before with Peter at the lake house, and now with Lucy at the pool…

"He's right here and he can hear you." Stephen sighs, finally tossing the butter into the cart. "America, why don't you find a snack you like?"

Her eyes nearly pop out of her head. "Really? Any snack?"

"Yeah! I always get the white cheddar cheez-its. They're like crack to me." Thomas cackles. "Will and Val get strawberries and whipped cream. They do everything and share everything together if Val isn't attached to Mom."

"I noticed. You know, when I first got here, I thought she was actually William's," America says and Stephen covers his face with his hand. "I was like, wow, talk about a teen dad, but then I realized…siblings. Would have thought Cassie and Diana were mother and daughter if the age wouldn't have been so weird."

Cassie blushes. "Oh geez, no. I helped Tony…raise her…but you know. I helped however I could since…the snap."

America nods. "Yeah…I was told about that. I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"It's okay. I think we've all healed and moved on from it now." Cassie smiles.

"Sissy and I will help you find a snack!" Diana finally says after listening to the older kids converse with each other.

"Sure. I gotta see the weird foods here anyway."

Cassie laughs. "No, you gotta save the weird foods for when I drag Papa shopping. He saw cotton candy flavored grapes and had an aneurysm."

"Please take me on your next shopping trip with him," America laughs as she walks away with the girls.

In the meantime, Stephen finishes in the dairy aisle and leaves Thomas to push the cart after him as he leads them to the drinks. The kids wanted a movie night and so they needed drinks and popcorn, one of the reasons Stephen brought them with him. Harley and Peter were charged with finding the popcorn, but after that? He just prayed to the Vishanti that they really had grown out of their public shenanigans.

"Do you think coffee would make me travel at light speed?" Thomas asks and Stephen snorts.

"I'm sure your body metabolizes it faster than it can set in, but I still wouldn't want to risk it."

"Pietro taught me how to run through walls. He says the laws of physics don't always apply to us when we run. Like running on water or running through thin walls." Thomas explains. "Brick walls are still too hard for me."

Stephen glances at his son and raises an eyebrow. "Remind me to ground him when we get home. You should ask before testing anything like–"

"I did! I asked Dad! He set up some things we can try." Thomas reassures quickly.

Not that Stephen wasn't sure it was something to be relieved about. Tony was a fantastic father, but sometimes even his genius brain took a break and didn't think things through. But since Thomas had yet to come to him with a concussion, he assumed Tony and Pietro were being somewhat responsible.

With Lucy though, Stephen was still convinced that Tony had blown out her eardrums while working in the lab with her. Whether from blasting music or from blowing things up. But Bruce had checked out her ears for her and said Lucy was fine. Maybe the little girl just had selective hearing when it came to Stephen. She listened when he was stern, but usually if he asked her nicely to please not wipe her boogers on Levi, it went in one ear and out the other.

There was also the time she tried to climb the railing of the stairs just so she could slide down. Fortunately Rhodey had been visiting and put a stop to that pretty quickly.

"Just…please be careful." Stephen finally says. "I'd rather not have to use a jackhammer to dig my child out of bricks."

Thomas grins. "You might not have to. Pretty sure Yelena could headbutt a brick wall and make it crumble like sand."

"Speaking of Yelena, remind me to talk to her and Kate about their not so private…trysts." Stephen motions to some drinks for Thomas to grab and put on the bottom of the cart. "Your brother did one of those panic flusters when he walked in on them. Closed the door while he was still in the room and then apparently turned so red that a sunburn would have been jealous and teleported away."

"Was that the day he called from Japan?" Thomas bursts into laughter then yelps when Stephen smacks the back of his head. "I love him but he's such a ditz sometimes."

"Yelena thought it was hilarious too," Stephen drawls. "Now go round up the brood. I'm finished."

Thomas salutes. "Yes, sir!"

"And never do that again."

"Peter and Harley are right. It's fun to see you make that face." Thomas dodges Stephen's next swipe and jogs off hollering for his siblings, which makes Stephen rub the bridge of his nose.

The twins had certainly come out of their shells. And unfortunately that meant that their older brothers were rubbing off on them. At least William still had some modicum of respect for Stephen and Tony. He had his moments of sass but it was still in the respectable range. Thomas, on the other hand, was teetering dangerously on Harley's end of the spectrum. Even going so far as to run literal circles around their resident god.

Sometimes even Sam after he heard the story about how he and Steve first met. Sam was less than pleased with the outcome and Steve always got a good laugh out of it.

Stephen was fairly certain that Thomas used his speed to his advantage when he wasn't in view anymore, because the sorcerer was surrounded by all of the kids before he was even halfway to the front of the store. They were all chattering about at least three different subjects and none of them needed his immediate attention so he tuned them out. He simply pushed the cart to an open register, let the kids unload it onto the belt, and waited for the cashier to ring him up so he could pay and go home. Tea and that piece of chocolate cake he had put into the cart were starting to sound heavenly.

"Dude...I just found Peeps flavored Pepsi," Harley announces and Cassie laughs, taking it from him and putting it on the belt.

"Just when Papa thinks the grocery store won't traumatize him anymore." Cassie grins.

"Babe, that's savage." Peter laughs.

"Busy day, Dr. Strange?" The cashier asks and Stephen snorts humorously.

"Believe it or not, this is a calm day."

Looped Nightmare

Chapter 1: Was it all a dream?

Tony woke up as he jolted up from his slumber, panting lightly. His forehead was damp with a cold sweat as he ran a hand down his face, trying to calm himself from the nightmare he had just woken up from. He grabbed his glasses on the table next to the bed, sliding them on as the iv tube hit his face. Tony batted the tube away before his chocolate eyes went wide at his surroundings.

"What the hell…" Tony questioned as he saw he was in the medical bay. " Friday, tell mama bear this is a little extreme for falling out of bed."

Friday was silent for once.

"Friday? Oh don't tell me he's still mad about the bath bomb… i said i was sorr…" Tony rambled as he tried to get out of bed, his legs failing him as he crumbled to the floor.

Steve had been passing by just asTony had collapsed to the floor, the super soldier rushing forward and helping the billionaire into a nearby wheelchair. Tony's face grew even more confused at his weakness. He had felt fine just last night when he had crawled into bed with Stephen. He hadn't felt like this since he was rescued from space after…

"You've been out for a week Tony." Steve stated softly.

"Where are the girls? Stephen? The boys? Is everyone ok?!" Tony asked hurriedly as he looked up at the super soldier.

"Cassie and Diana are fine… but I'm sorry Tony…" Steve sighed sadly as he walked behind the engineer, pushing the wheelchair. "Stephen, Harley, and Peter were…"

"Were what?! Where's Val? You forgot her! Were we attacked while i was asleep?!" Tony was letting the panic fill him completely at what he was hearing.

Then things started to click. Space, everyone missing… It was just like after the snap. Was everything he remembered just a dream during his comatose state?

No.

It couldn't be. This had to still be some sick dream he was stuck in. They defeated Thanos… he snapped again. The engineer was wheeled over to a table with the few remaining Avengers, the pictures of those lost to the snap projected up from the holotable.

Chocolate eyes widen when he sees Peter and Stephen's pictures flash across the screen. He grabbed what he thought was his damaged arm, his brows furrowing when there was no charred flesh under his touch.

Had him snapping all been a dream in his coma?

His eyes focused off into the distance as the other's talked in the background. Something was wrong. He could feel it in his gut and would try to prove it.

Tony sat in the living room of the lake house, staring at the Starkpad in his hand. It was getting harder and harder to tell if what was happening around him was real. He got hungry and needed sleep, which meant it wasn't a dream. Maybe it was an alternate dimension? Or some spatial anomaly?

Either way, he knew he would get his family back.

Cassie watched from the kitchen where she was feeding Diana some baby food from a jar. The billionaire had her worried. Maybe he was still in shock from the snap? She knew that she hadn't quite gotten a grip on what had happened. At least she didn't have it as bad as Tony, who actually had both Stephen and Peter turn to dust in his arms.

She finished feeding Diana, wiping her face with a diaper wipe to remove any blueberries that had decided to stay on her cheeks before carrying her back to the living room. The child set the baby in the swing before climbing up onto the couch next to Tony.

"Uncle Tony? Can we watch cartoons?" Cassie asked softly, looking up at the distracted man.

"Huh? Oh yeah… FRI? Put on whatever Miss Sass wants." Tony muttered as he kept scrolling through the articles that littered the screen.

Each and every one of them was dated 2018, part of Tony wanting to believe that were true even though there was a much louder voice in his head yelling at him to wake up. Even his conscience sounded like his last husband. He rubs his eyes and sighs as he sets the device in the coffee table before him. Cassie pats his leg gently.

"It's ok Uncle Tony." Cassie said softly, the billionaire not missing the sorrow that laced her young voice. "I miss my daddy too."

Tony pulled Cassie into a hug, hoping to soothe the still grieving girl beside him. "Me too Cass… me...too.."

Tony's brain began whirling with ideas.

Scott.

Scott…

"SCOTT!" Tony hadn't realized he yelled the man's name as his hands darted for the Starkpad again.

Scott had solved the answer in how to get everyone back before. If Tony could find him again and bring him back, maybe then he could prove he wasn't crazy. Maybe he could get his family back.

Cassie turned her attention away from the cartoons on the television to watch Tony. She knew the last time she saw her father, he was helping Mr. Pym and Hope to collect some particles or something like that.

He was one of the victims of the snap.

"Uncle Tony… daddy is gone too." She muttered softly as she reached to pull his hand away from the Starkpad.

"Cassie. I promise I'm not crazy but… I've already been through this before. " Tony explained. "Your dad wasn't snapped. He's trapped in the quantum realm and if I can find him, then he can help get everyone else ba…"

The man turned and saw the tears filling large hazel eyes just before Cassie got up. The child ran to her room and shut her door behind her. Tony sighs softly as he holds his head in his hands, looking over at his baby daughter in her swing.

"I promise daddy isn't crazy." The billionaire mutters to her as he moves to put her pacifier back into her mouth. "Maybe I should let time take its course. I know Stephen would say it's wrong to mess with a time stream."

He could wait. He had done it before and he could do it again. Tony knew exactly how to fix this, but he needed everything to happen in the exact order as it did last time.

That night, Tony lied awake in his bed as he stared at the ceiling with his tired chocolate eyes. He thought it was hard to sleep when Stephen was dimension hopping, but now it was nearly impossible. The billionaire sighed as he rolled over onto his side and stared at the spot where his husband would have been, his heart aching as his fingers reached over and clutched the sheets.

"I'll get you back tesoro." Tony promised softly. "You and our whole family."

After a few more hours of tossing and turning, the billionaire finally fell asleep. If only it were a peaceful sleep. Tony was caught in a dream.

Tony looked around the sandy terrain littered with the ruins of the alien civilization that used to occupy Titan. He slowly stood from where he had been seated in the sand, his hand instinctively reaching to tap the nanotech housing unit. Two weights shot out and attached themselves to his wrist, drawing Tony's immediate attention to what was attacking him.

He couldn't believe his eyes.

Stephen and Peter were hanging on his wrists, their fingers clawing at his sleeves. Tony couldn't take his eyes off of the betrayed expression they had on their face.

"You failed." Stephen's voice rang out as he suddenly vanished.

"I...I tried… i…" Tony stuttered as he saw Peter vanish as well.

"You didn't try hard enough." Peter's voice bit out as wind began to whip around Tony.

He tried to push on through the brewing sandstorm. He had to get to his family.

"I tried everything!" Tony shouted over the howling wind.

"You can't… we had one chance… and you ruined it." Stephen's voice hissed in his hair. "You let us die."

"NO! I DIDN'T!" The billionaire exclaims.

"I told you to run. We would have been safe on earth." The ghostly form of Stephen and Peter appear before Tony. "If you had listened to us instead of your ego,our family would be whole. We wouldn't have turned to dust!"

Tony fell to his knees as tears welled up in his eyes, his hands trembling as he gripped the sand beneath him. He had tried everything to save his family that day. After having Thanos in his head since the Chitauri invasion, he thought the only way to stop Thanos was to take the battle to him. He wished he could undo everything from that dreadful day.

"...ony...Tony…" Stephen's voice called softly.

Tony went to answer the gentle voice, but he couldn't as a sudden pain coursed through his chest. He cried out in pain as he fell to the sand, clutching his chest. He tried to breathe, to catch his breath but another pain coursed through his chest. It was like he was being electrocuted by invisible lightning.

"Tony! Wake up!" Stephen's voice cried out as the ghostly versions of him and Peter faded. "Tony!!"

Tony jolted awake with a startled gasp, clutching his chest as he panted heavily. His hair was drenched from sweat as he pushed it away from his forehead.

So as mentioned in my previous post about this bingo, my birthday is next month. And for that occasion I wanted to host another bingo! Like my last bingo in October 2021, this one will have moodboards to the squares. You don’t have to use them, but they’re there for inspiration, and can also be used in your fics as a “cover” if you’d like 🥰 I’m gonna have the moodboards up before the bingo starts on Monday 17th of January 😅

A Warm Summer Day

It was a nice summer day at the lake house. All the kids were outside playing, even Valerie and Lucy who were both being carefully supervised by the older children, and Stephen decided to stay inside and enjoy the air conditioning. He had no earthly clue what Tony was up to but Stephen would bet money he was working on a new project. The man never really could stop tinkering. His hands were almost always busy with something.

But Stephen trusted his children enough to sit near the window and occasionally glance out to check on them all, and enjoy some iced tea and a book. He was comfortably stretched out on the couch with his book of choice, a mystery novel that sounded interesting when he saw it at the bookstore, and a glass of iced tea on a coaster on the coffee table. After turning a page and grabbing said glass, he took a sip–

QUACK.

Stephen blinked. That definitely wasn't an animal they owned. When he looked up over the rim of his glass, he watched as a duck waddled across the floor like it owned the place. A quick glance out the window reassured him that this wasn't some elaborate prank by his children since they were all busy playing, so this duck must have waddled in through Athena's dog door.

He did seem to hear it flap but he was so accustomed to hearing it even when Athena was with him that he didn't think anything of it. Flynn and Tibbs also used it regularly. Stephen even caught Pudge using it on one occasion though he wasn't sure how that was possible. The owl was extremely small and couldn't have been strong enough to push the flap open…but he did somehow.

Gerald and Emir were too big for the pet door.

QUACK.

Stephen sighs and sets his glass back down to look at the duck across the room. It's attention was currently on Athena's water bowl which it was drinking water from so Stephen gave it a few moments to hydrate before petting his wolf's head and nodding toward the duck.

"Go on. Send it back outside. Gently."

Athena huffs and lifts her head from Stephen's lap before jumping down from the couch to herd the duck back out the pet door. It quacked with indignation at first, but fortunately headed for the door when Athena nudged it again. Once the duck was safely through, the wolf returned to the couch, jumped up, and laid her head back down in Stephen's lap. As he pet her in silent praise, the back door opened and Tony walked in with a raised eyebrow.

"Did I just see a duck walk out of the house?" He asks and Stephen snorts.

"You did. It just wandered in like it lived here. I had Athena show it back out. Maybe you should consider making it openable only to our pets." Stephen suggests.

Tony hums and rubs his chin in thought after joining Stephen on the couch. On the other end though since the sorcerer was currently stretched out on the shorter part of the L and Athena was using his lap as a pillow.

"Well it would be easy to put something on Tibbs and Flynn's collars but Athena doesn't normally wear one." Tony says. "Maybe I can design a chip instead. It would be a good idea to chip them all anyway."

"As long as it would be safe for our shifters."

Tony nods. "It'll be fine. I'll make it small."

"You can add it to your neverending list of projects then. What were you working on today?" Stephen asks and turns another page.

"Something Lucy friendly so she can help out in the lab and garage. I think I've successfully turned her into a grease monkey. She's getting to that age." Tony smiles softly. "They grow up too fast."

Stephen looks back up from his book, over at his husband, and then out the window when he finds Tony watching the kids. It was true. The kids grew up too fast. Harley and Peter were in college, Cassie and the twins were in their senior year of high school, Diana was in third grade, and Valerie…well she would be getting ready for preschool soon. Whether she would actually go long enough from Stephen's hip was another thing entirely.

And now Lucy was walking. Running really. She was definitely Tony's child the way she ran around getting into everything. She was a handful the moment she learned to crawl.

"We could…always try to even things out." Stephen mumbles.

Tony looks over at him. "What?"

"We've got four boys and three girls…"

"Isn't the magic random?" Tony chuckles. "It could give us a boy and then what? We keep using it until we have the same amount of each?"

Stephen smirks. "It's not like we don't have the space, the money, or the babysitters."

"I'm pretty sure Wong has been very tempted to burn that book." Tony jokes.

"He says things like that but he loves the girls. And William. The other boys apparently are menaces to society."

"Give Lucy time and she'll be one of them too." Tony says and gets back up. "I'll go check on the two youngest and go see about that chip. I'd rather not be forced to adopt a duck. Especially if the kids didn't have anything to do with it."

"I do not want a duck."

"Great. Heard they're assholes anyway." Tony says and gets close enough to lean down and kiss him then leaves through the back door again.

Well he didn't outright say no, Stephen thinks. Another kid wasn't actively on his mind this time. It was just a thought when Tony had said something about their kids growing up too fast. In reality, even when Tony passed–from old age Stephen firmly told himself–he could still use the book to create children and they would always be Tony's. Stephen didn't think he would ever date or remarry when that day finally came, but there was a small comfort in knowing that any children he conjured up afterwards would share his husband's blood.

A small comfort because it still wouldn't be fair to the child not to be able to meet their father.

But he still has at least another twenty years to share with Tony. Stephen wasn't going to worry about any of that until he had to.

So he tossed those maudlin thoughts far back to the recesses of his mind and turned his attention back to his book, and enjoyed it as well as the sounds of his children's happy screaming and laughter. The splashing was almost just as loud and Lucy even let out a couple of elated squeals. A quick glance out the window showed Thomas holding her by her hands at the water's edge and letting Lucy make little jumps and kick her feet. William was nearby holding Valerie in the water away from the rest of the kids who were splashing each other or having a contest of who could make the biggest splash with a cannonball.

Stephen remembered the first time he watched the kids in the lake after the snap. It put him on edge because all he could think about was Donna. How she drowned and no matter what he did, he couldn't save her. He insisted on adult supervision for a long time because Harley and Peter were around the same age she was when it happened. Donna was seventeen and he had been nineteen.

His parents never forgave him after the accident. Donna was one of the reasons he became a doctor. When he left home, he didn't have any interest in trying to reconcile with his parents. He kept in touch with Victor as much as he could…but then he was killed in a car accident.

So Stephen understood Peter's fear. Understood why he thought he was bad luck when it came to family. But now they both had this family. And Stephen would keep it, come hell or high water.

He eventually gave up on his book and set it down on the coffee table and retrieved his half empty glass instead before getting up. Athena was forced to lift her head and she dutifully followed when he walked into the kitchen to refill his iced tea. Once that was done, he opened the freezer and grabbed the box of popsicles the kids would no doubt appreciate on a hot day like this and after playing in the lake for so long.

"I think today is a day to have dessert first before lunch," Stephen says to Athena. She woofs softly and turns to go through the doggy door and the sorcerer picks up his glass and opens the back door to follow her.

Thomas and Lucy had since sat down at the water's edge and Lucy was happily splashing away with her hands, but the rest of the kids were sitting on the small pier with their towels over their shoulders. Or in Valerie's case, completely wrapped around her. With the heat though, Stephen knew she would quickly shed it and let the heat finish drying her.

"Do you guys want popsicles?" Stephen calls out and holds up the box for them to see.

"I want cherry!" Peter hollers instantly before getting up and jogging over. Stephen chuckles and holds the box up higher.

"What are you? Five?"

"And a half!" Peter snarks before snatching the box and digging out a cherry popsicle just as the other kids join them.

"Liam, I want grape!" Valerie requests and he nods.

"Okay, the angel wants a grape and I want orange." William says and takes them from Peter.

As the kids request a flavor, Stephen manages to snag a line flavored one. "What do you kids want for lunch?"

"Oh! I can make lunch for everyone!" Cassie offers but Stephen shakes his head with a smile.

"That's alright but thank you. Enjoy being a kid while you can."

"Why don't we just have pizza?" Thomas suggests as he holds Lucy's popsicle for her to bite into.

Stephen nods. "We can do pizza. Is your father in the garage?"

"Yup! Daddy has the door open so he can see us!" Diana answers helpfully before scrunching her nose. "He said he was making chips."

"Not to eat." Stephen chuckles. For the pets and the door. We had a visitor come unannounced that Athena had to show back out. A duck to be precise."

Harley grins. "We have a pet duck?!"

"No we do not."

"Aww too bad. Lucy could have had a bath with a real duck instead of a rubber one."

William snorts. "Don't give her or Dad any ideas."

Stephen takes the empty box from Peter. "I'll go order the pizza. If you're done swimming, make sure to clean up whatever you're done using. Don't leave the towels outside again. And try to cool down in the shade. I don't need any of you having a heat stroke."

"Maybe you should change into your swimsuit and get some sun. You need it." Harley says.

"I don't tan, I burn. You know that." Stephen huffs.

"If you do, then Dad can very lovingly put aloe on your sunburn!" Peter calls out as Stephen walks away to throw the box in the recycling bin.

"I would never leave the room then," Stephen mutters.

Of course, with his enhanced hearing, Peter laughed. It was enough to tell the older kids what Stephen had said out of earshot and they laughed too.

"Isn't that the point?" Cassie says loudly and Stephen sighs.

Mun is well over the age of 21 so NSFW & Triggering topics will be here although they will be tagged.

Please do not use me as a meme or image source, I've had problems with that in the past.

If we have an issue I ask that you be respectful and speak to me about it in PMS or unfollow me if you're childish.

I use big gifs/icons, resized icons, gif icons, and gif hunts or nothing at all based on the convenience and how I'm feeling at the moment. ( Blacklist: CW: large image ).
