A cute fall-winter themed 2-page elite disciple Kirito/Eugeo manga drawn by doujin artist @emtr_san on twitter! I decided to share it with yall, with a loose translation so yall can understand and enjoy it! <3 with emphasis on loose though, because I’m not super good at japanese haha;;

I decided to put the english translation/summary is under a read-more this time, enjoy!:

We see Kirito’s foot(steps) and Eugeo’s side profile, lifting his head.

Kirito:   Uu----  

Kirito crashes down and seats himself beside Eugeo on a bench.

”IT’S SOOOO COLD!!” 

Kirito exclaims, as he practically flings himself on the bench and sticked close to Eugeo.

Eugeo just goes “!“ and leans a bit to the side, making a bit of room for Kirito to sit.

Kirito then folds his hands together and tries to warm them by breathing on it, glances at Eugeo from the side. 

Oh gosh, I’m actually not sure how to translate this next part exactly. Kirito’s basically complaining and Eugeo’s saying something about the season changing way too soon...

Kirito: (don’t you think) it got (super) cold out of nowhere!?

 Eugeo: Yes. For Centroria to get this cold this time of the year is quite rare/unusual....

Eugeo lingers off, glancing at Kirito in silence. “.......“

offscreen we have Kirito going all like:

Kirito: Uooh, it’s freezing~~~~....!!

We then see a close-up of Eugeo’s hand, stretching out his fingers a bit, and....

....Eugeo places his hand on Kirito's shoulder and pulls him close for a half hug.

Kirito doesn’t make a move, just glancing at his partner’s hand on his shoulder with a blank expression and in complete silence.

“......“

Offscreen we have Eugeo say:

"Kirito seems really cold, huh." 

(This can also be translated as “sensitive to the cold“)

We see some sound effect bubbles at Eugeo’s fingers, I believe he’s either stroking or patting Kirito’s arm.

In the next panel we see Eugeo giving a friendly smile with his eyes.

“Wouldn’t it be more warmer (if we sat) like this?“

Kirito gives another “.......“ but now his expression changes: furrowing his brows and lowering his eyelids, giving a more serious and mischievous look.

In the panel below, we see a close-up of both of Kirito’s hands, wrapping around Eugeo’s waist.

Kirito then says:

It’ll be even warmer if you do it like this, Eugeo-kun.

Kirito gave a firm grip on his partner’s waist pulls him closer.

Waa--///;;;

Geez---can you not surprise me!?

Eugeo exclaimed.

We then see Kirito’s speechbubble being surrounded with incoherent sfx, sigh clouds and heart emojis. 

Uu~~ It’s still cold...

From the hearts surrounding Kirito’s speech bubble, he’s enjoying himself way too much.

"Hey now, y-you’re kind of crushing me, Kirito ^-^;"

...Seems like they’ll be hugging each other for a while.

i like to think once yosuke gets over the whole undead roommate thing he starts to feel bad for leaving yu at home all day. (like a pet dog.....) so at some point he invites chie and yukiko over. maybe it’s a study session. but at first yukiko can’t make it so it’s just chie. yosuke tells yu to stay put in the room since chie is scared of ghosts (just like yosuke she’ll never admit it though lol). chie says that she and yukiko have been working on a new recipe and offers to cook which yosuke shoots down Very quickly, offering to cook himself, since a "friend" of his has been teaching him-- he very conveniently leaves out the whole undead roommate thing. but when he’s preparing the food he accidentally cuts his finger. yu forgets what he’s told and rushes through the walls into the kitchen scaring chie on accident.

yosuke: OW shit

yu: (phasing through the wall) yosuke! are you ok?

chie: yosuke! are youuuuuuUUUUAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

yukiko, the occult lover, is unable to see/hear ghosts… but when she hears abt "OHHH HANAMURAS APT IS HAUNTED ITS SO SCARY ITS AWFUL!!! i mean the ghost didnt kill me or anything he was actually pretty polite but its AWFUL!!!!!!" from chie, she gets sooo excited and begs yosuke to invite her over (for the ghost obviously not for yosuke. which is a bit of a blow to his ego LOL). and she comes in with a ouija board so she can talk to yu

yukiko: well, where is he?

yu tries to play along bc he thinks its fun, to yosukes exasperation. however he has trouble staying solid for very long so it takes foreverrrrr. but basically i think yu and yukiko writing each other notes to communicate like point blank pen pals would be cute… also when the others are around who can hear yu, playing telephone with what he says to yukiko and fucking it up (on accident OR on purpose) would be rly funny

And in the "Infinity Train" arc, there's Tanjirou's validation of Inosuke's boss status, which makes me imagine if they had any small conversations like that between them haha >w< !

Translator’s Notes:

Poor cinnamon roll Tanjirou, despite being so young, he carries a heavy burden that few can truly understand and empathize with. It's heartbreaking to see the sadness in his gentle eyes, knowing the tragedies he's already experienced and will continue to face.

Thankfully, Boss Inosuke is there to look after his Underling #1! I love how he confidently declares himself as the boss, yet feels warm and fuzzy and blushes when he realizes that Tanjirou truly agrees with him. It's heartwarming to see how Inosuke makes Tanjirou feel secure, and this comic portrays it beautifully. Also, Tanjirou's blushing in that last panel too (⁄ ⁄>⁄ω⁄<⁄ ⁄)⁄.

the writing is also in depth & brilliant, but i especially love page 61-64 where jade gave reasoning to trey not to tied himself forever on the trauma of putting riddle into trouble back then that he deserves to be happy himself when trey said "i wish i can do something for riddle" jade replied "riddle wasn't someone that only you could save." "of course it doesn't have to be me." "riddle is a strong person who can find happiness on his own if given the chance." "please be happy too"

This is a super cute story of touch-starved Inosuke wanting head pats from Tanjirou. He not only learns from Nezuko, but one-ups her with a heart-shaped garland. Awww!
