Prompt: “something that is History related or something that is basically culture! Maybe Steampunk ish or Victorian era ish.”

Once I saw a Konoe/Rai pairing and read the prompt for something Steampunk I knew immediately what I wanted to do~ So I basically took the Rai route good ending where both become bounty hunters but in a steampunk au setting of like… air pirates who, instead of hunting demons, they hunt rogue automatons.  It was a lot of fun trying to imagine costumes for them and how their skills would translate to this au setting! (I did think about how the song could be translated but felt like that would be too much for one piece where a lot is already going on.) But basically, I got very carried away doing this and now wish there was a full-on doujinshi comic to expand on this idea hahaha.  So thank you eddiequeenque for a very fun prompt! Hope you like the gift ~ :>

Huh, that's actually a good idea. So far the asks aren't as weird as the ones I had back when I was EddieQueenQue, but I sometimes delete them when I have a bad burn out and I dunno how to answer the asks. Sometimes I feel bad for deleting them knowing that my Anon homies sent them and awaiting for it to be answered but I am overwhelmed with work stress that I just delete it.

I'll try better next time. And hey, yeah I should start to screenshot the weird asks if I got any of it

-Mermaid Katsuki Bakugou constantly makes fun of humans and their “stupid fucking legs” but in all reality, he watches them alone from a distance and wonders how their lives may be different from his

-As a prince, he likes to remind people who is “in charge” but he also takes his residents’ needs into consideration.

-He continually spars with the knights of the kingdom to make sure they (and he) are ready to fight in case the kingdom becomes under attack.

-You can bet that he secretly has a human-made thing on his person and in his room. He really likes mirrors and things made from metal. He’s come across several swords and knives made from metals. He found them intriguing and decided to keep them in his room. He recognizes them as weaponry. He also acknowledges that the human weapons may be stronger (definitely cooler-looking) than the mermaid weapons made from broken shells.

-At night, Merman!Bakugou likes to listen to the dolphins and whales singing their songs. He will close his eyes as he swings in his hammock-styled bed (which he copied from the humans up on shore; his bedroom has a lot of human-style living in it) before gently dozing off to sleep.

-he wonders what life would be like as a human, but he figures that he’s the best merman there is, so why bother giving that up to be a lazy human. Besides, pants look weird.
