I love ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga so damn much!!!! I know there’s some valid criticism of it but I can’t help but be pulled in by the story. And I especially love Sweety because her character seems so passive but really she has a steel core. Like when she’s talking to Sahil about her brother berating her for being with Kuhu and then in the next breath she says she started secretly going to Delhi to meet her despite her brother’s rage…what a badass. That’s someone with a backbone, someone who loves herself and who believes in herself and who knows that being gay is natural.

Genuinely pissed that Regina Cassandra is credited as a special appearance when Kuhu is the fulcrum of ELKD?! What rubbish.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and Badhaai Do are the best fucking queer films in the history of cinema and this post is a big ass FUCK YOU AND YOUR SHITTY OPINIONS to all the homophobes and (some of) our very own queer "critics" who hail problematic shit in BLs and Hollywood as the epitome of queer representation but downgrade anything genuine that Bollywood/Indian media puts out.

Once in a while, I hyper fixate over a Desi piece of media. And when I do, I'm so deep into it, I can't get out until I find another pair of gay men in some anime

I love in ek ladki when kuhu is trying to highlight her brother’s good qualities and sweety literally says NOTHING, just kind of stares, and after half a second kuhu switches tack to highlight HER good qualities
