I decided to put my spare black Marlowe cat in the dress I got in my last garage sale because I can of dig the darker tones it brings, but I have trouble ID it!
Where dit this dress came from? Did someone knows?
Edit: it's a fake, that's why I didn't know it!

I Come Before You in Peace
STAR WARS EPISODE I: The Phantom Menace 01:40:24
A couple interesting things in this scene: If you look behind Sabé's headdress, the head of the unnamed pilot standing directly behind her is gone and replaced with a tree...but his body is still there.
Secondly, it looks like Jar Jar isn't CGI in this scene because you can see the black shoulder strips of his shirt, which is evident when Ahmed Best is portraying him, but not on the CGI model.

On 21 November, 1998, Jarno Elg broke into the home of an unnamed 23-year-old man in Finland. He tortured the victim before strangling him to death, mutilating him, dismembering him, and then eating him with three accomplices, the youngest being just 16-years-old. The mutilation, dismemberment, and cannibalism was part of an alleged satanic ritual that the group conducted while listening to The Cainian Chronicle by Ancient. The group were apprehended after discovering a leg of the victim at a dump site.
Jarno Elg was sentenced to life imprisonment. It was reported that the group were “strongly influenced by Satanism.” The majority of the details surrounding the case were sealed for 40 years which is why there is only a limited amount of information available online and in the media. In 2014, Jarno Elg was paroled.

I've mentioned that I first got into SG1 fanfic when the show started airing in the UK (late 90s), but my recollection is that I wasn't involved in active fandom as such - I was reading fic (probably from Heliopolis), but I don't think I was ever on forums like Gateworld. I didn't have internet access at home until 1998-99 (dial-up only at first!) and did most of my fic reading on the university computers.
However, I did save a few SG1 fics (by copying and pasting into Word, by the looks of it), which I've kept through several computer upgrades over the years. I was looking through them today and found a word document where I'd saved this quote:
"Apparently Jack was feeling misunderstood and unappreciated today and also seemed a hair away from pointing out that he was a Colonel in the Goddamned United States Air Force and it would make a nice change if the people Under His Command occasionally did what they were Damned Well Told. " -- ELG on Col. O'Neill
I can't remember why I saved that quote, but it made me laugh.
I thought I had no chance of tracking this down, but Google brought me to a fanlore site, which told me that there is an 'ELG' who is a Stargate fanfic author, who wrote some gen SG1 fic and Jack/ Daniel slash, and their fics are now on AO3. SO it seems probable that it's the same ELG. Might even be a quote from one of their stories:
A little piece of my fandom history :)
