Will be making several vore-related jokes when Nemuri returns home with their groceries, at her expense, while rocking the triplets and making them coo and babble with her years of experience.
Pacifying two of them with her soft, corpulent arms and pushing a cradle with her feet in a rhythmic pattern and motions.

Staying in Bed
Sunrays flooding into the room, Emi groaned, “Shota...I don’t want to wake up…”
“Then, don’t.” He muttered, not moving a muscle.
Scooting toward Shota, Emi embraced him from behind. Nuzzling her face into his back, she pulled the blanket over her body. “Take the sun away…”
Grunting, Shota rolled over and moved her over to where he was. “There. Stop complaining.”
Instantly Emi sat up, growling, “What the hell! Why did you move me?! I didn’t want to be moved!”
Shooting his eyes open, Shota yanked her down. “Why are you complaining? I moved you out of the sun.”
“I..don’t like being on your side...I like my side.” Emi pouted.
“Whatever. Do what you want. Don’t complain about not being able to go back to sleep then.” Shota huffed, resting his eyes again.
“Shota...that’s not fair...please,” Emi whined, prodding his cheek.
Without further thought, Shota shot out of bed and pulled the curtain down. Going to his side of the bed, he shifted himself over without saying anything. Otherwise, he was going to snap at any moment.
Furrowing her brows, Emi pouted. Getting on top of him, she nestled her face into his chest.
Already having enough, he hissed, still trying to contain himself from exploding. “...What the hell are you doing now?”
“...I want to cuddle.” Emi raised her head, meeting eye contact with him, giving him big puppy dog eyes. “Pleaseeee~.”
Snickering, Shota pulled her head down. “Whatever. Just go back to bed. I don’t want to argue about this anymore…”
Emi pushed him away. Jumping up, off the bed, she grabbed a pillow and their blanket and went to the living room. “I’m not dealing with your attitude.” Setting the pillow beside the hand rest, she laid down and snuggled up in her blanket.
Shota released a deep, heavy breath. Getting up, he went to his sleeping bag and got in. Within moments, he had fallen asleep.
---------
Waking up, Shota scanned the room. Recalling where he was, he unzipped his sleeping bag and checked the time. 10 AM. Stepping out of the room, he discovered Emi on the couch. It wasn’t often that they had fought like this, but it didn’t entirely surprise him either. Emi was rather sensitive when it came to receiving affection and feeling loved. Approaching her, he leaned against the back of the couch, slightly shaking her. “Hey, Em. It’s 10. Get up.”
“No,” Emi grunted. Pulling the blanket over her head, she whimpered, “I want to sleep...let me sleep. We stayed up until 3 last night.”
“3 in the morning?”
“Yeah.” She agreed.
“Mmm. Well, it’s Saturday, so we have the day off. I thought you would probably like to do something.” Shota announced, lightly stroking her hair.
“No. Sleep.”
Leaving her, Shota went off and started a pot of coffee. Taking out his laptop, he began working on his work, getting ahead.
-------
Groaning, Emi sat up. Seeing Shota standing by the counter, she called, “Shotaaaaaa. Come over here. I want you to come over here.”
“Good morning. You can come over here too. It’s 11.” He specified, glancing up from his laptop. Taking a sip of coffee, he shot her a soft, genuine smirk.
“No. Come over here. I’m not done sleeping.” She uttered, laying back down.
Checking the time once again, he informed her, “You’ve gotten eight hours of sleep, Emi.”
“No...just one more hour...I need as much sleep as possible. My body is exhausted. I don’t want to wake up yet…”
Narrowing his eyes, he closed his eyes and exhaled. “Fine.” Shota gave in. Going to his office, he searched for his book. Grabbing it, he picked up his mug and set it on the table, closest to her head. “Hey, I need you to move somewhat.”
Opening her eyes a slit, Emi stared at him questionably. “What? What are you doing?”
Shota tilted his head and sighed, “Emi, just sit up for a moment.” With her complying, he sat down where her head was after moving her pillow aside. Gently resting her head on his lap, he stroked her hair lovingly. “Is this better?”
“...Yes.”
Playing with her hair, Shota found himself quite fond of spending time with her like this. Even if he didn’t like to admit it, he could have been better about what happened earlier. Leaning forward, he pecked her forehead. “I love you, Emi.”
Smiling softly, she murmured, “I love you too.”

The Pun Mermaid
(Pirate Au)
Shouta was nothing but a simple bar owner. Travelers would come by time to time but it was mostly empty. Well at least until someone came through the front door.
"Um hello is this place open?! I need a place to hide!" A women called out as Shouta stepped out from the back. " Yes and please keep your voice down miss--" Shouta's voice trail off as he stared at the woman in front of him.
Her wet sea green hair blinkered as she breathed heavily. She was wearing a long white dress that covered the lower half of her body. "Please I need water! I need somewhere to hide! Please!" Shouta walked over to the woman and closed the door behind them. Outside he could hear faint voices and people walking outside.
Shouta then proceeded to get a glass a water for the panting lady. "Here you go," he handed her the drink and watch her jug it down in the matter of seconds. "Thank you sir, I'm Emi by the way. I hope you don't mind if I stay here for the night mr--"
"You can call me Shouta, and yeah you can stay in one of the back rooms."
"Well thank you Shouta, I will be forever grateful. You've made me happy as a clam." After their quick talk Shouta began to walk away till he was stopped by a something tugging his arm. "Umm, can you please help me walk, I don't like crawling on wood. It hurts the scales in my tail." That when Shouta realized why she needed a place to hide and water.
She was a mermaid.
"My day couldn't get any worse."
"Oh don't think like that, I'm pretty sure it was fin-tastic."
~~~~~the next day~~~~~
Shouta carried the half human and half fish lady to the ocean near by. Well it was more like a delta that was connected to river and ocean. He threw her in and watched as she swam around with glee.
"Thank you Shouta! I don't know how I would have gotten away with out you. They really were a bunch of sun of beachs but who cares about them. I promise I'll visit time to time, high or low tide, I'll be by your side!" Shouta didn't look forward to seeing the pun mermaid, but some how he liked her company.
Thigh riding W/ Mt.Lady & Ms.Joke
A/N: I know nobody asked for this but look look listen to me for a moment.I never get asked for F/F requests and I do be on a writing roll 👀 I’ll write the Shigaraki requests I got in the morning because it’s 2am 🥵
Tumblr media
Mt.Lady (Yu Takeyama)
“Y/N can you pay attention to me” Yu whined poking at your sides.
“Later I have to finish up this paperwork.” You said waving her off and continued to focus on the work in front of you.
She walked away disappearing into the bedroom and decided to change from her sweater and sweats.
She walked back wearing a lacy bra and underwear. You could’ve sworn you were hallucinating as you watched her get closer.
“What are you doing?” You asked turning back to your work.
“Come on don’t be a drag let’s go to bed.” She said standing behind you sliding her hands down your shirt, cupping your breasts.
“I told you I have paperwork” You said trying to hold back a moan.
“But I’m lonely.” She whined walking next to you as she moved her legs trying to get some friction.
The sight made you get wet but you couldn’t give into her this easily.Patting your leg she looked at you dumbfounded
“I’m going to look dumb.” She huffed trying to get you out of the chair.
“No you won’t” You said grabbing her hand gently pulling her down. “Come on princess show me what you can do.”
She loved when you called her that. She got more uncomfortable wanting nothing more than for you to touch her but she knew there was no setting you into bed now.
Climbing on your thigh she slowly began moving her hips, surprised at how good the friction felt.
“You’re doing so good babe.” you purred in her ear, which only encouraged her to rock her hips faster against you.
Her head fell back, her eyes glossed over with pure lust a layer of sweat on her body.
“You look so pretty like this.” you praised, her hands making their ways under your shirt playing with the clasp of your bra.
Showing her hands away you instead reached to rub her clit. Paperwork long forgotten. Slapping her hand against her mouth as a moan left her mouth.
“Don’t do that I want to hear you.”
Picking up the pace, Yu’s moans filling the room. Removing your fingers from in her and bringing them to her lips, pulling her close to you moving your tongue inside her mouth tasting her before going back to play with her.  “You taste so good.”
Loosing all composure she became undone around your fingers and thigh.
“Look what a pretty mess you made.”
Tumblr media
Ms.Joke (Emi Fukuado)
You just wanted to have a hot shower then an uneventful evening. That all changed when your girlfriend Emi jumped in to shower with you.
You just wanted to wash her hair but she had other plans as she kissed you sliding her tongue inside your mouth.
“Haha things are getting steamy” she said pulling away with no seeming intention to continue.
You went back for another kiss leaving her panting.
“What’s wrong Emi? No more funny jokes?” You said pressing her against the wall, your knee ridding up her parted legs.
“N-Not at the moment” She gulped knowing she won’t be able to laugh herself out of this one.
Your foot resting on the edge of the tub, as Emi slid herself down further till she was fully sitting on your thigh.
Kissing her deeply, your breasts pressing against each other causing Emi to moan at the lack of attention her clit was getting.
“Ride it.” You told her going back to kissing her.
She happily agreed moving her hips back and fort. Your thigh becoming a mess of cum and water.
Moving your fingers in tight circles on her clit making her jolt under your touch.
Her lips parted letting a moan fill the bathroom that made you crazy. You stopped touching her clit making her moan in protest.
“That’s not funny.” she said with a flushed face.
“I though you liked jokes” You said smiling at her.
“Y/N pl-please ju-” She started to say but you jolted your leg up making her squirm at the new sensation.
“Sorry Emi didn’t hear you there.” You said with a smile dipping your head to take one of her nipples in your mouth your hand pinching the other.
“Pl-Please don’t-” She said in an effort again only to be cut short by your hands helping her rock her hips faster.
“Don’t what babe?”
“Don’t stop.” She moaned grabbing your breasts then snaking her hands up to your hair as her face nestled into the crook of your neck.
You continued to play with her clit as one final rub making her stop rocking her hips as her orgasam over took her body.
Slumping against you in exhaustion.
“Things did get steamy.”
Oh, we're playing "how hot"? Well, let me give you some fine pro-heroes - Eraserhead, Ms. Joke, Nighteye and Mt. Lady.
Oh no,,, I love them all \(;´□`)/
Eraserhead (Aizawa Shouta)
Not My Type | Alright | Cute | Adorable | Pretty | Gorgeous | LORD MERCY
Funny story about Aizawa,,, I originally didn't have much of an opinion on him until the USJ arc happened and then I just suppressed myself from liking because of the fact that,,, I thought I would just be that typical person like, "Oh? Of course you'd like him, that's very basic." I do this too much ;-; But I've fully embraced that I love this man a lot,,, and this calls me out on the type of fictional men I like,,,
Ms. Joke (Fukuado Emi)
Not My Type | Alright | Cute | Adorable | Pretty | Gorgeous | LORD MERCY
Very cheery characters always warm my heart and Ms Joke is no exception. I was once told that if anyone made me smile or laugh, that means they're special because of my normal rbf. Besides that, I love when a character can make me laugh! Ms. Joke is also very beautiful and I would love to give her a hug!
Nighteye (Sasaki Mirai)
Not My Type | Alright | Cute | Adorable | Pretty | Gorgeous | LORD MERCY
I always manage to end up liking a character who eventually either never appears again or just dies ;-; He was interesting when first introduced and then something just clicked in my head like bam! Then I just liked him. I can't explain it but yeah,,, sir,,, you have no right to be this handsome,,,
Mt. Lady (Takeyama Yu)
Not My Type | Alright | Cute | Adorable | Pretty | Gorgeous | LORD MERCY
To me personally, she gives me big sister/cousin vibes. Her design is so pretty too! She seems like the type to tease her young cousin/sibling (if she has any) like Nani from Lilo and Stitch. I know she has the more sassy vibes, but from what happened in the rescue of Bakugou, she is actually sweet and selfless deep down. Ma'am, I'd like to hold you hand and tell me everything will be okay.
Just wanna say, Hey Girl! Good luck with getting Aizawa! He has to take you up on that offer someday. I think you two would be a cute couple. You balance out his grumpiness🤪
Awe! Thanks! That made my day, but I haven’t had much luck with it; unfortunately...a girl can only fantasize about it coming true.  You should tell him that...he certainly would beg to differ with that idea.
Some Fresh Air
Running into the classroom after the class was dismissed, Emi announced loud and clear for the class about her date with Aizawa. “Ready to go? I have everything packed! I’m so excited! I’ve been studying how to make proper picnic food since you agreed to go!”
“Where are you two going?” Uraraka asked, curious about whether or not her teacher would answer.
“We’re going on a picnic!” Emi exclaimed, giving the class and Shota her most massive smile.
Shota groaned in the background. The rest of his class made speculations about what the two were going to do on the picnic.
Giggling some, Mina asked, loving the fact that her sensei and Ms. Joke got married. “Do you two get to spend more time with each other now that you moved to UA?”
“We do.” The seafoam haired woman chirped. Leaning forward, she cupped her husband’s face and asked, “Are you ready to go? I put a lot of love into our dinner.”
Shota cocked his head and nodded, “Yeah. We can get going…”
Grabbing his hand, Emi helped him up. “Well, come on, slowpoke! I wanted to be out the door already!”
Rolling his eyes, Shota exhaled. If anything, she should be the one talking. If they didn’t have anything happening, she would spend the whole morning sleeping, excusing it as her time to catch up on her beauty sleep.
----
Arriving at Mizumoto Park, Emi took them to a spot where they could sit in the shade. Setting the basket down, she took out a blanket and laid it out. Sitting down, she began unpacking the basket, laying food out for the two of them to enjoy.
Joining his wife, Shota searched the basket for alcohol. “You didn’t bring any alcohol?”
“No. Just tea. You don’t need alcohol. You’ll be fine without it.” She advised him, taking out the container of tea along with the cups. “I did bring your juice packets if you were going to be picky with the tea. I would at least like you to try it.”
“Fine.” Grabbing a cup, he filled his cup slightly with tea. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t his favorite, either. “What is this?”
“Migicha...actually, it’s not tea. It’s roasted barley steeped in water.” She admitted, blushing some from the mistake she made earlier.
“Strange.” He remarked, drinking a bit more. Scanning the other food, Shota realized that she took a lot more time to prepare for all of this than he would have liked. That didn’t surprise him one bit, though. “Emi, you didn’t have to go to all this work to do all this…”
“I wanted to. It tells you that I love you.” Emi smiled wide, kissing his cheek before taking out the plates. Handing him one, she began filling their plates with the food she prepared. “I would like you to try it all, so I can know whether or not to make it for you again.”
Grabbing the plate, Shota sighed, “Fine.” She really put herself through so much work even though she wasn’t working full-time anymore. With her being pregnant, that changed a lot of things for the two of them, but especially her. “Why do you do this to yourself? I don’t need you to do all of this all the time for me, Emi. I love you just the way you are.”
Picking up a piece of the inarizushi, Emi brought it to his lips. “Eat up.”
Complying, Shota opened his mouth and ate it.” After finishing the bite, he brought it up again. “I’m serious. You can’t be doing this to yourself all the time. It’s so much work.”
“I enjoy this, though. Let me cook, Shota. I love cooking for you and other people. It’s one of my favorite things to do.” She dictated, glaring at him for repeating himself. “Let me keep the hobbies I enjoy. With me being pregnant, there isn’t much else for me to do. Heck, I’ve been busy helping UA with all its paperwork lately. I would rather be cooking or doing anything else than that. I hate doing paperwork, but you insisted that it would keep me busy while I take time off for the baby.”
Looking away, he sighed, “Hm, You could have said no if you hated it that much.” Grabbing more food, he had to admit that Emi was rather gifted at cooking than anyone else he knew. She was so persistent that he ate better too. That was difficult to adjust to. It was to take the bento box to work with him or have her come to class and have the students ask her any questions they had about their marriage. That was the last thing he needed.
“Fine. Whatever.” She pouted, taking a little of everything and looking away from Shota.
Distinguishing something that he didn’t recognize, Shota tried a bite full of the food. Once done, he was confident that the food wasn’t Japanese at all, but what was it. “Em, what is this?”
Emi inhaled through her nose and out her mouth, trying to soothe her nerves from the conversation they had before. Glancing at his plate, she laughed some. “Potato salad.”
“What the heck. It’s not Japanese, is it?”
“No. It’s American or western, at least. I had it back in America when I lived there. I’m not a big fan of it, but I’ll eat it.” She specified, using her chopsticks to grab some potato salad off his plate into her mouth.
“Hey!” Shota instantly pulled his plate away from her and scooted.
Following him, Emi nestled up against him. “Love, don’t leave me. I just found it the perfect opportunity to take advantage of you.”
Shota narrowed his eyes and glared. “What the hell does that mean...why do you need to take advantage of me?”
Emi curled her lips. Leaning forward, she pecked his lips. “I got you.”
Confused, he sat there, baffled about what just happened.
Taking a few more bites, Emi found herself content about their current situation. “I win.”
Shota raised a brow, not understanding any of this. “Are you trying to play games with me? None of this makes sense, Emi...explain yourself.”
Getting on her knees, Emi wrapped her arms around Shota after setting her plate down. Resting her forehead against his, she closed her eyes. “I’m happy to be your wife. I’ve never been happier even though you complain about everything I do.”
Drawn back a bit, he took a moment to adjust to the situation. Not being one for PDA, Shota rested a hand on her cheek, caressing it.
“You can do more than that. There aren’t many people here, and I don’t think anyone knows who you are really.” She retorted. Brushing her eyelashes against his, she was willing to try anything while she was with him. “I’d like to think that you’d touch me out in public even if it was only holding my hand.”
“You’re dramatic, you know that?” He addressed, locking his red-dry eyes with hers.
“Hm, for you~.” Emi cooed, pecking his lips once more.
“Emi...that makes no sense. You can say you’re gaga, obsessed, satisfied, anything about me, but dramatic about me? That doesn’t make any logical sense.” Shota explained, pulling away, so he could eat more of her food.
Emi pursed her lips and snickered at the male. “No...I want to be dramatic about everything I can, especially you!”
Shota rolled his eyes at her, not understanding one bit of what she was trying to get at. “Emi. Please. Don’t do this...just let me enjoy our picnic. You know I love you.”
Without being convinced, Emi pulled away. Crawling to the basket, she took out the watermelon. “Here’s your dessert. You can take it or eat it. I’m not dealing with your sass about not knowing what I’m talking about. I’m not clueless.”
Shota grabbed the plate and sat it down beside him. Taking her by the wrist, he pulled her toward him, taking her in his arms.
“Shota...I’m not going to cuddle with you...you dissed me. Now go away.” She fought.
Shota closed his eyes and exhaled. “Emi, stop fighting me...I hate dealing with this. Why are you doing this?” Stroking her hair, he tightened his grip on her. “Emi, please. Let’s talk about this.”
“No. You didn’t want my affection, now you’re not going to get any.” She hissed, not appreciating any of this.
Taking a piece of watermelon, Emi shoved it in his face. “Eat it.”
For a brief moment, he let go of how but grabbed onto her again. “That’s fighting dirty, Emi...not cool.”
“You’re not cool when you don’t accept my affection!” She yelled, using all her strength to pull away from him.
Tightening his grip, he took her hands and intertwined his fingers with his. He figured that he would embrace her like this, making it harder for her to fight back. “Emi...I’m sorry I said anything, alright? It is not the end of the world. Please...calm down.”
Glaring at him, she shot him a death glare. “You’re a big meanie.”
Nuzzling into her neck, Shota teased, “Oh? That’s too bad.~ My students would probably agree with that.”
“Don’t compare me to your students! I’m not anything like them!” Emi growled, getting more riled up. “Leave me alone! I don’t want to be touched right now!”
Letting her hands go, Shota stuck his hands underneath her armpits and pulled her back into his arms. “I’m never letting you go. Never.”
Kissing his cheek, she huffed, “You’re too persistent.”
“So are you.~”
Just a Trim
With Shota being on the couch, sleeping, Emi took advantage of the current situation, knowing he would not be pleased with her when he woke up. She grabbed a pair of scissors and her phone before setting them on the floor beside her. Carefully lifting Shota up, she placed his head on her chest, stroking his hair as she got everything prepared. “It’s alright.”
Groaning, Shota shifted some. Resting his face in the crook of her breasts, he found her presence soothing.
Emi played with his hair for about thirty minutes with traditional Japanese music playing in the background, so Shota’s eyes wouldn’t distinguish the sound of cutting hair.
It took two hours to cut his hair the way she wanted it. Cutting it past his ears, Emi left the sides about five-point one centimeters while she made the top ten-point two centimeters. Pleased with her work, she kissed his forehead. “You’ve always been so handsome~. I love you~.”
Gradually opening his eyes, Shota ran a hand through his hair. His eyes instantly shot open. Instantly, he flipped Emi and himself over onto the floor. Hands-on her wrists and legs over hers, he growled, “What...the...fuck did you do, woman?!”
Drawn back, Emi struggled to break out of his hold. “Shota...please... you’re overactive.”
Flaring his nostrils, Shota glowered, “No, I’m not. You cut my hair, Emi...how would you feel if I cut yours?”
Narrowing her eyes, she pursed her lips. “No. That’s not the same thing. I would look strange if I cut my hair like yours.”
“Bullshit. No one said you could touch my hair...I’ve had my hair that way as long as I can remember…” Shota snickered. Getting up, he let go of her wrists. “That’s the last time I’ll ever trust you.”
Laying there, she rolled over. Fighting tears, she silently remained there.
Shota went off to the bathroom. Sticking his fingers through his hair, he played around with his new cut. Even if it didn’t look horrible, it wasn’t him. After playing around with it, he left the room, finding Emi still on the floor. Kneeling down, he swept her hair out her face with his hand. “Emi...I’m sorry that I got that upset. I’m serious about my trust for you, though…why would you do that?”
Shrugging, she kept her eyes on the ground. “I’m not sure...I don’t want to talk about it…”
Sighing, he picked her up, carrying her to the couch. Sitting down, he rested her on his lap. “What about I cut your hair like you did mine?”
“No!” Emi pushed him away, desiring nothing to do with him.
“Oh...come on, baby...I think it’s only fair even if we don’t cut it as short.” He smirks, tightening his grip on her.
She scrunched up his nose and glared. “You’re going to trick me! Don’t deny that! You’re going to cut it as short as yours!” Emi whined.
“You don’t want to be twins?” He teased her, pecking her face.
“No. I don’t want to be your twin. You can do that with Hizashi.” She retorted, refusing to look at him.
Curling his lips, he taunted her further, “Hm, what would be the fun in that? I don’t want to be his twin. I want to be yours.”
“No. Gross. I don’t want to be your twin. Plus, We look nothing alike.” Emi snickered. Shoving him aside, she sprinted away.
“Kitten~ You can’t get away from me~” He smirked, following her to their bedroom. Entering their room, he found her attempting to open the window. “What the fuck. Emi… Don’t do that. That’s uncalled for.”
“No, it’s not...you’re going to cut my hair…” She whimpered, pulling every hinge of the window that she could.
Tilting his head back, he grumbled, “Please don’t destroy the window…” Approaching her, he threw her on the bed. Crawling onto the bed, he showered her with affection. “I won’t have you get a haircut, alright? I’m kinder than you.” He curled his lips at that last statement.
“Fuck you! You’re going to do something behind my back when I’m not expecting it!” She cried, still upset about the whole ordeal.
Lowering his body, Shota rested his weight on Emi. “No, baby...I wouldn’t do that. I thought about it and may have meant it at first, but having you meant it like this...it isn’t worth damaging our relationship.”
Emi’s lips trembled, not knowing how to react entirely. Her husband was so much better than she was. Tears streaming down her face, she pulled him close. “I’m sorry, Shota...I shouldn’t have cut your hair even if it was a joke... I’m so sorry...please forgive me!”
He remarked, dragging his fingers through the side of her hair, “At least, one of us will have longer hair. I still would like to see you get a shorter haircut even if it was barely to your shoulders.”
Chewing on her lip, Emi commented, “Maybe.” She placed her hand on his stubbled, thankful that he still had that. “I wish you could grow more, but it’s fine. I enjoy your stubble…”
A light chuckle escaped from him. Amused that she was more relaxed after he assured her that he wasn’t going to get her back. “Mm, I love you...even if you did ruin my hair...I’m still upset at you about that.”
“But I solved your problem! No one knows whether or not you activated Erasure! Why didn’t you do something about that earlier! It doesn’t take someone like me to figure that out.” Emi indicated, thinking that he had never considered doing so.
First staring at her blankly, he covered her mouth with his large hand. “Shh~ You’re getting yourself into deeper trouble. Just stay quiet for now...you really get yourself into quite a bit of trouble when you run your mouth~.”
Furrowing her brows, Emi attempted to talk, but all could be heard was muffled sounds. Within seconds she opened her mouth and licked his hand, trying anything that could get his hand off her.
“Mm~ I didn’t know you had a hand fetish~” Shota teased, raising the corners of his lips.
Without being able to do anything else, Emi admitted defeat and stopped.
“My kitten stopped…” He whispered, removing his hand and replacing it with his lips for only a brief moment. “What about I have you do what I want as a punishment for cutting my beautiful lock~?”
Sticking her lips out, Emi disagreed, “That’s dumb.”
“Aw, my kitten doesn’t want to play...that just won’t do.” Immediately he flips her over and slaps her ass, making her moan instantly.
“Ah~ Shota…” Emi bit her lips, containing her moans.
“That wasn’t so bad, was it~?” He purred, pushing her hair aside and nibbling on her ear.
“Mm, I don’t want to be punished...I just want your affection!” She whimpered,
Satisfied with his own work, he reassured her, “I’ll give you all the affection you want at the end, alright?”
“Okay…”
Shota pecked his cheek before getting off the bed, preparing himself for what came ahead. “That’s a good kitten~ Daddy’s going to give you the time of your life, alright?”
“Yes, daddy.”
My Greatest Love
Recalling that her husband enjoyed traditional art and customs, Emi bought inks, canvas-type silk for his birthday. She recalled that he didn’t care much about gifts, but she desired to create something that he’d appreciate or love. It was the only thing she longed to accomplish for him. For them.
Setting the canvas up in a cramped closet at UA, she made sure that no one would accidentally enter. The truth was that she and Eraser had gone off and pleasured each other when he had time off. Of course, she made sure that he would get enough food and sleep then too. It was her desire to ensure that he stayed healthy.
Locking the room from the inside, she shared the details with Nemuri about her plan so that someone could watch the little one, Toshiyuki. Eri was busy at school, but Emi had told Nemuri that if she had any difficulties with Toshi, she would have her phone.
It was amusing how Toshinori and Toshiyuki got along. The whole family joked about how they used Toshi because they wanted to remember Toshinori. The truth was that Emi really liked the name. It meant genius and happiness, but Emi really emphasized happiness. That was what she desired for everyone, but especially her little baby boy. He made her so happy with his raven black hair, and green-emerald eyes, she would give anything for that child. Same with Eri. Eri had been constantly reminded that her brother was going to look up to her continually, and it was certainly something that the small girl took pride in.
---------
I had only been ten minutes before Nemuri called Emi about Toshiyuki. If this was going to be her reality, Emi might go home or keep Nemuri on speaker. That was an option.
“Emi...I can’t find the milk. And do I need to warm it up...I don’t remember what you said.” Nemuri admitted, not amused at the work she had to put into taking care of a baby.
“I left you a note about everything. The milk is in the fridge. You don’t have to warm it up. Let it sit for about ten minutes, though. I don’t want Toshi to drink it that cold.” She sighed, preparing all the inks she was going to paint with. Pursing her lips, Emi figured she would make sure that Nemuri found the list she wrote out for Toshiyuki. “Hey, please tell me that the list is on the counter. It should be across from the fridge. Is it there?”
Toshiyuki in hand, Nemuri got the bottle out and set it down on the counter across from the refrigerator. The list was right there. Funny how she didn’t pay attention to everything Emi said. “Yeah. It’s there. Listen, I have to teach later. I can’t do this all day.”
“What? You agreed to that, Nemuri!” Emi exclaimed, flustered about what had come up. “Hm. Well...I could call Hizashi, but...I don’t know if I trust him with this...Hell, I don’t know why I trusted you with this either.”
“Emi, you didn’t even tell me what you were doing. Where are you even?”
“That’s not important right now. I’ll talk to Toshinori, then.” She addressed, hanging up without warning. Immediately, she called Toshinori, not realizing that he was in the office with Shota.
Sitting across from Shota, Toshinori glanced at his phone, spitting blood once he saw who was calling.
“Seriously? What is it now?” Shota asked, raising an eyebrow.
Yagi cleaned himself up before answering. Once he was done, he replied, “Your wife is calling me.”
Shota furrowed his brows together and swore under his breath. What the hell was going on that she needed to call Yagi. Out of all people too, Yagi felt like the last person she would call. “Answer it.”
Doing as Shota stated, Yagi answered the phone without hesitation. “Hello?”
“Hey, could you watch Toshiyuki for me later today? I’m busy at the moment and for some reason...I didn’t think about Nemuri’s schedule.” Emi huffed, annoyed at herself.
“Um. I’m not really good with babies.” Yagi muttered, recognizing that Shota heard what was being discussed practically. Shota’s face was already questioning what the hell was going on.
“Toshi, I really need this...please!” Emi pleaded, hoping that she could find some way to talk him into agreeing to watch Toshiyuki.
Nervous, Yagi mumbled, “Um. I don’t know...shouldn’t you ask, your husband?” Across from him, he saw the rage in Shota’s eyes already.
Emi paused, contemplating how to address her husband. “No. He’s too busy.” She lied.
“Oh. Well... I’m going to say no since I don’t think I could handle taking care of a baby alone.” Yagi responded, thinking that he got out of it.
“Please...I need this...I don’t know who else to ask.” Emi whimpered, tilting her head back.
“I’m sorry, Emi.” He hung up.
Disgust filled in his eyes, Shota growled, “What the hell was that?”
This was the absolute thing that Yagi didn’t want to be a part of. Yet, here he was. “I...I...don’t know…”
Clenching his phone, Shota called Emi unhesitantly. Having her pick up, he called her out, “Emi, what the fuck is going on? Why did you ask Yagi to watch Toshiyuki?”
“He told you?” Emi frowned, feeling defeated about it all.
“I was right there when you called him.” He hissed, still giving Toshinori a dirty glare.
Pressing her lips into a thin line, Emi stood there, silent. She had no words.
Rubbing the side of his face with his left hand, he demanded, “Emi...answer me. What the hell is going on? I want an answer.”
“...I was supposed to be a surprise…” Emi muttered, not wanting to admit that she attempted sneaking out and was planning to do something special for him.
“What are you talking about?” He asked, taking a deep, heavy breath.
Tearing up, she admitted defeat, “Your birthday present...I was trying to create it, so I could give it to you later.”
Leaning back in his chair, he exhaled, “Emi...you know that I said you didn’t have to do that.”
“But...B-But Shota, I like doing that stuff for you. Seeing the smile on your face...even if it’s small...I love that.” Emi brushed her hair back, specifying how she felt about his birth and providing him with gifts. “I...I-I...just love you...so...so much.”
Releasing a deep breath, Shota asked, “Please...Emi, just tell me where you are.”
“I’m where the third-years are. The hero course...in a closet.” She remarked, trying her best to get his painting done somewhat. Hanging up, she took a wad of ink and applied it to the canvas. Strictly using black only, Emi painted half of the canvas with Japanese quince. Then using her neatest handwriting, she wrote ‘My Greatest Love.’
She had finished some of it already, but with her husband coming soon, she hadn’t considered that the ink may get on her clothes and stain them. Polishing it up some, she added some more details to her gift before he came into the room.
Twisting the handle, Shota struggled to open the door. Within moments, Emi opened the door. She was covered in ink. “Emi...what the hell…” Cocking his head some, he discovered the painting. ‘My Greatest Love.’ It was beautiful. “That’s what you were doing?”
“Yeah...I know it’s probably too much for you...I didn’t spend as much time as I wanted either…” She frowned, bowing her head.
Approaching her, he gripped her chin. Lifting her face, he met her eyes. “I love you so much, Emi. That gift you made wasn’t necessary, but I can tell that you put so much love into it.” Curling his lips, he pecked her forehead. “It’s perfect. I love it, especially since you made it.”
Softly grinning, Emi pulled him closer. “I love you too, my dear husband. You can hang it in your classroom because you love it that much.” She winked.
“No. I’m not putting it in my classroom. I don’t need my students teasing me about that. That’s the last thing I need.”
Pursing her lips, Emi’s eyes sparked. “Mmm~, your kiddos still have yet to see our little Toshiyuki. I should come over sometime…”
“No. That two-month-old doesn’t need to be bombarded by them, and some of the students have seen Toshi. If they really cared that much, they would have come over or walked over when we went out walking.”
“That’s dumb.” Emi retorted. Rolling her eyes, she twirled around and began cleaning up. “I bet your class doesn’t even know they can do that. It won’t hurt for them to see him once. He’s three months old. Toshiyuki can handle it. Hell, most of the pros have seen him, and then there are your students...give them a chance, Shota.” Biting her bottom lip, she devilishly grinned. “What about you either have to have the painting I made for you or show our son to your class?”
“Neither.”
Emi shook her head in disgust and walked off with the supplies that she brought over. “That’s not an option, Shota.”
“Hm. And who says that you’re going to be successful with that?” Relaxing his stance, he went after her. Scooping her up, he kissed her cheek. “Mmm, if you want to be persistent about showing off our kid, I’m going to get rewarded for my work.”
Scrunching her nose, Emi snickered, “You’re ridiculous... I’m going to require the same for you too if you’re making me do that~.”
Narrowing his eyes, he licked his lips. “Gladly~. We’re going to talk about this...another day.”
With them going out a back exit, Emi wrapped her arms around his neck and nuzzled into his neck. “I’ll be alright with that~”
Anguish
THREE YEARS LATER
Shouta: 27; Emi: 24
Emi discovered herself being very secluded from society after the last three years. She had to admit being this way since Shouta abandoned her. She loathed to admit it, but she missed him like crazy. Ever since Katsumi was born, they had never seen each other except afar. It crushed her heart every time she had to see him around, accepting that she would never have him to herself again. Did his words three years ago really signify nothing when he said that he would never stop loving her? Never leave her? Stay by her side?
All of it was a lie. There was no other explanation for it. He didn’t care about her wellbeing, needs, desires, any of that. It was the only rational explanation she could give herself for having him leave her.
______
Returning to work fulltime, Emi arrived at her hero agency, dressed in her usual hero costume. Greeting several coworkers, she marched through the agency and into her office, confident that it was going to be a good start.
Opening the door, Emi struggled with words. “W-What are you two doing here?” In front of her was the man that crushed her heart and her boss, Insightfulness.
Whirling around from the desk, her boss applauded, “I just had to team you two together for your first mission back, Emi!”
Perplexed, Emi’s eyes went round. “Y-you have to be joking...”
Insightfulness cocked her head, astonished that Emi would react so negatively. “Why would I?”
Emi didn’t want to say it, but she had to. “I-I...I can’t work with Shouta... I refuse to.”
“Emi! Shame on you! I’d never imagined you would be the one to say such a thing...” The female groaned, furrowing her brows. Thinking she had done the two a favor, she wasn’t aware of what happened between them.
This wasn’t fair. Emi contemplated everything she knew. How would she even respond to her superior? She didn’t know. “I’m sorry. It brings back too many bad memories.” She lamented, lowering her head in shame. She couldn’t do anything correctly anymore. The only thing she needed at the moment was to leave for her own sanity.
“Emi, is there something that happened between the two of you that I should know?” Her arms crossed as she shifted her weight on her left side.
“I don’t want to talk about it…” Emi muttered. Turning the doorknob, she pushed the door open and left.
_______
Without stopping, Emi went straight to her apartment. She couldn’t deal with this anymore, and Shouta acted as if nothing happened. It was true that she had loved him more than anything. Hell, she still loved him.
______
It had been a few hours since she left work and came home. She felt guilty, shameful, condemned for her actions. It didn’t surprise her in the slightest if she was fired for leaving when she had missed so many days the last few years. Yes, she had done a lot more paperwork the previous four years, along with training to prepare her for coming back. Still, the agency didn’t want her as an office lady. They communicated that after she had her child.
Skipping lunch, Emi stepped into her living room. Picking her laptop up, she started it up and went right to her email.
Insightfulness,
I bring you my sincerest apologies for what happened this morning. With Eraserhead in the room with you, I couldn’t bring myself to talk about the events concerning the two of us. I recognize that this must be frustrating for you, but I will be more than happy to set up an appointment with you to discuss my past with him.
Respectfully,
Fukukado Emi a.k.a. Ms. Joke
Sent.
 Shutting her laptop, Emi closed her eyes and released all the tension with exhaling through her lungs. Everything was going to be alright now. After she met with her boss, all would be well.
Perceiving that someone was at the door, she set her laptop down and approached the door after hearing someone knock. “Hello?”
“Emi, we need to talk.”
Instantly, she froze in her tracks. She recognized that voice. She could distinguish that voice from anyone. Especially when she had spent so much time with him - even though it had been years since then.
“Emi, I know you’re in there. Please, we need to discuss what happened. I can’t have you be terminated because of me.”
“You’re wrong, Shouta. She would never fire me.” Emi retorted.
“You’d be surprised. I disclosed everything after you left. You’re lucky she didn’t fire you then... It’s your first and only strike before she terminates you for something else.”
Raking her fingers through her hair, Emi was skeptical about what Shouta said happened. Her boss wouldn’t do that. She had known Insightfulness since she graduated and thought their relationship meant more than that. Supposedly she was wrong.
“Emi...I know this is difficult to hear.”
“Go away, S-Shouta…” Emi mumbled, already on the verge of tears.
“Emi, I’m coming in.”
Questioning how he would get in, she raised a brow. “No. You can’t not without me opening the door, idiot!” She barked, flustered about the current situation. “Go away, Shouta! You can’t break and enter my apartment! I’ll charge you!”
“No, you won’t.” He calmly replied, pushing in his key to her apartment and turning it to unlock the door. Opening it, he walked in.
“Shouta, get out!” Emi demanded, irked that he welcomed himself into her space.
“Emi, we need to get this settled. You’re not going to get out of this. Insightfulness said herself that we’re working together no matter what. I’m sorry. I know it’s not what you want to hear, but it’s reality.” He sighed, staring at her with sympathetic eyes.
“Get the hell out, Shouta. We’re not discussing this. I already told myself I would never deal with your bullshit again, and I’m not breaking that promise to myself.” Emi admitted, finding it challenging to be in the same room as him.
Taking a deep breath, Shouta tilted his head, closing his eyes. “Emi, I don’t know how to convince you that I have your best interest - even if you don’t think I do.” Pressing his lips firmly together, he locked eye contact with her. “I can explain everything. Please. I don’t want you to ruin your career, future, just because of this.”
Snarling, Emi widened her nostrils in disgust. “You have to be fucking kidding me. I’m not dealing with this... I’ve convinced myself that I’m not giving you a second chance.”
“I’m sorry, Emi.” Shouta huffed, exerting all his self-pride.
“No.” Emi snapped. “No. That’s not how this works, Shouta.”
Scratching his scruff, Shouta stood there, unsure of what to do.
Pointing to the door, Emi hissed, “Get out!”
Bowing his head, Shouta stuffed his hands in his pockets. “Emi, I know you’re angry with me, but we need to talk.”
“No, we don’t. We’re not doing this.” Emi retorted. Hands clenched, she stormed off. “Go to hell, Shouta!”
He was dumbfounded. Speechless. Running after her, he grabs her by the hand, tugging her into his arms.
Immediately, Emi fought back. She wasn’t going to let him win. Not this time. Using everything she had, she punched his jaw - with her previous attempts being stopped. “Fucking get off me!” Shoving him aside, she sprints to her room, only to be caught by his capture weapon. “Shouta...leave me alone. I HATE YOU!” She screamed.
Stopping everything, Shouta stared at her with disbelief. Pulling his scarf back, he slid his hand down his face, trying to make sense of it all.
“Leave!... That is all I want. Leave me alone!” Emi asserted. Tears flowing down her cheeks, she collapsed onto her knees. She couldn’t handle this anymore. She was done. “Just leave...please.”
Setting his mouth into a hard line, Shouta exhaled. “Alright. I’ll leave you. Do you want me to tell Insightfulness about what happened, or would you?”
“Leave...Please.” She groaned, hating every moment she had to spend with him. “Just leave me…”
Listening, Shouta threw his key onto the counter and left her apartment, recognizing that he wasn’t going to get anything accomplished. “See you later, Emi…”
Slowly getting on her feet, she leaned herself against the counter. Not having any strength to think or get anything done, she shuffles to her bed. There she crawls to the middle, cradling herself. His touch. It burned her skin with the memories they had made together. The bond they had. All of it was gone. She convinced herself of that, and it would never happen again. She was done with the man. Forever.
Imminent
The next two weeks were excruciating, considering Emi had to hide the fact that she knew anything about Eri and Shota’s disappearance. She was still working for the U.S. and Japanese governments. Again, she contemplated the possible reasons she could come up with to explain why she was resigning. None of them made much sense, and it was only going to get worse. She knew that Shota wanted to go back to UA, yet he had left everything behind for her. That didn’t sound like him, which was worrisome by itself.
Emi no longer had access to anyone’s phone numbers, believing that it would be better for everyone. Otherwise, she didn’t trust herself to keep any of the information confidential. She had already told Shota everything, but then he was her lover. She trusted him enough to not disclose anything that she had told him. Especially, considering he was more logical than she was and understood the degree of how serious all of her work was.
Truthfully, it would have been less pressure on her to hide everything from the world. She was confident that Shota didn’t fathom how she felt like the world had decided to stack up all its weight and dump it all on top of her. With everyone against her, she found herself perplexed. What was someone to do in a time like this? She was stranded between the islands of obeying the government and staying faithful to her fiance.
To her, it seemed the best choice for her to make at the moment was to run away and change her identity, but it would never work. Shuffling into the living room with pink shorts and a colorful striped tank top, she collapsed on Shota.
“What the hell, Emi. Be careful! I have a cup of tea right over here, and someone could get burned.” Shota stressed, glaring down at her.
Ignoring every single thing said, Emi groaned, “Can I be done? I just want to hide in one of those underground houses and never come up again.”
Raising an eyebrow, Shota was bothered by her comment. “Is your depression acting out again?”
Dramatically moaning, she rolled onto her stomach. “I don’t know what to do about you and the government. Do I tell the government I know where you are or that we’re in contact with each other? I...I just...I can’t let you go, Shota. I can’t.” She mumbled, eventually lifting her face up to stare into his eyes.
Nodding, Shota pulled her up where she could sit on his lap. Pushing her hair back, he pressed his forehead against hers. “Emi, I don’t know if that would be a smart idea.”
Throwing her arms into the air, she exclaimed, “Well, I don’t know what is! Either way, I’m screwed! So what would you like me to do about it? It’s hopeless.”
Expressionless, Shota simply stared at her, not knowing how to respond. He didn’t want to give her fake confidence or be extremely detrimental. The only thing that seemed sensible at the moment was holding her. Yanking her by the arm, he cradled her.
Emi wasn’t expecting Shota to pull her in. He had actually gotten a lot better at reading her and pinpointing how to support her. Resting her face against the crook of his neck, she mumbled, “Can we just get married and forget about everything?”
“Emi, that isn’t how that works. You can’t run away from life’s problems.” Shota grumbled. Running his fingers through her hair, he was confident Nezu knew the truth about where Shota was and that Emi actually knew, too. “Emi, you should talk to Nezu about us. He’s smarter than you’d think. Actually, that’s his quirk.”
Fluttering her lashes, Emi clutched onto his hand. “Will y-you come with me?”
Declining her invitation, Shota persuaded her to do it by herself instead. “You need to do this one by yourself. I’m sorry if you don’t like the sound of that. It’s what is best for our family, though, and I know that will determine what you do next.”
Flaring her nostrils, Emi got up and glowered at her fiance. “Fine. If I don’t come back, you’ll know why.” She grumbled as she went out the door.
___
Applying the transaction for the subway system on her phone, Emi carefully deciphers the maps as she made her way back to the United Nations building. She was told that Nezu was going to be there until she accomplished her mission here, but was there something behind that?
As Emi climbed the stairs to the entrance, checked herself in, and rode the elevator up, she questioned if Shota was correct about everything there was about Nezu. His quirk, after all, was ‘high spec.’ It gave him the ability to surpass humans in intelligence, comprehension, and perception, which made it incredibly likely that he knew about Shota being here. The only catch-22 was what would happen to Shota, Eri, and herself if she was to admit that she lied earlier. Would she end up getting punished for her actions or some sort of discipline that a parent would give to their child?
Upon reaching Nezu’s door, Emi stumbled upon two familiar men. Choosing to ignore them, she weaved her way around them. Glancing behind her, she double-checked their appearances, ensuring that she’d remember it for later.
Knocking on the door, she opened the door without waiting for a response. “Hey.”
Changing his focus, Nezu greeted Emi, “Good morning. I wasn’t expecting you here today. Is something on your mind?”
Remaining standing, Emi blankly stared at Nezu, unable to say anything.
Already able to read her emotions, Nezu insisted she sat down. “Emi, take a seat, please.”
Immediately following through with what he’d asked, Emi seated herself in front of him. “Nezu, I can’t lie to you anymore.”
“Well, that’s going to be a problem.” Nezu flatly stated.
Disgusted with herself, her eyes soon became glossy. “I know. Please just leave me in this and no one else. It would kill me if I knew other people had to suffer because of the choices I made.”
“Well, I’m sorry to inform you, but that will be a result of what you have done,” Nezu informed her while taking a sip of his tea.
Establishing eye contact with him, Emi brushed her hair behind her ear. “You don’t even know what it is that I’m talking about.” Perceiving that he was about to respond, she went straight to her point, “Aizawa is here. He has been for a few weeks, along with Eri. I can’t hide it anymore, Nezu. I’m not sure why you wanted us to split up, but...they both mean so much to me.”
Nodding, Nezu assured her, “I knew about that already. I wasn’t confident whether or not they found you or you found them when I asked a few weeks ago. Shota is a smart man, though, and considering how he felt when he left UA, I presumed that the two of you would find one another.” Lifting his cup to his lips, Nezu took another sip before reporting back to her. “You know, Shota always made it apparent that his students were his number one priority. Perhaps that changed when Eri entered his life, and he was desperate for a mother figure in her life, but I couldn’t tell you. A lot has happened the last few years between you and Shota, good and bad. I won’t lie, I was annoyed when Shota was refusing to continue the responsibilities we had him doing at UA when he was single.” Taking another drink, he sat there patiently, waiting for her to respond or argue. Without Emi doing any of that, he continued. “However, our students have noticed the difference between their teacher before and after you came into his life. Take that as you will, but many students have disclosed that he’s been more patient, considerate of their emotions, and lively instead of choosing to sleep during classes. I suppose you could say that he’s taking more time to get to know the students.”
Boring her eyes into her lap, Emi wrestled with the idea of how she’s made everything worse for UA. Fighting back sudden tears, she instantly covered her face with her hands, sobbing into them.
Closing his eyes, Nezu took a heavy breath in. “Emi, don’t be so hard on yourself. I suppose I should have known that you might be emotional. I’ve been told you happen to be that way when talking to someone one-on-one.” Tilting his head up toward the ceiling, he contemplated what to do with the situation, “Emi, do you have anyone that you could trust with Eri while you’re working here? I want Aizawa back to UA as soon as possible, and that means sending you back with him. He’s going to be helping with your work starting today when you leave this office. This mission is still on the clock, so you don’t have time to mess around with one another. With Shota around, I’m expecting the two of you to accomplish more, do I make myself clear?”
Nodding, Emi reached for a tissue and patted her eyes dry. “Yes. I know it won’t be that easy for Shota to agree to those terms, though. I’m not going to agree that the two of us when I don’t have his approval.”
Sighing, Nezu wasn’t shocked that Emi would demand such a thing. “Will you bring me to Shota, or would you rather have him come here?”
“Let’s bring you over there. I don’t want Eri over here or to be left alone. Shota should still be there, so we’ll announce it to him when we get there. I can make you dinner too.” Emi suggested, hoping to make light of all of this stress.
Pushing himself out of his chair, Nezu wandered towards the door with his cup in hand.
Getting up from her chair, Emi insisted, “Nezu, I’ll take that and make you a bunch of tea when you arrive at our place. Is that alright?”
“Fine.” Proceeding back to his desk and then back to the door.
Figuring she could lead them out and back to the apartment, Emi held the door open and began their journey back.
_____
Swinging the door open, Emi advanced toward her fiance. “Good afternoon, love. I brought someone over.”
Instantly whipping around, Shota shot Nezu a glare. “Emi. Nezu. What the hell is happening here?”
Shutting the door, Nezu approached his former colleague. “Shota, it’s nice to see you again.”
Closing his eyes, Shota pinched the bridge of his nose, complaining, “Why are you here, and why do I feel like Emi is a part of this?”
Convicted, Emi turned her attention to the stove where she set the kettle on a running burner.
Without moving from his position, Shota asks, “Nezu, do you mind giving Emi and I a moment?”
“No. That’ll be just fine.” Nezu retorts, walking over to their living room.
Coming up from behind, Shota pulls Emi into his arms forcefully. Leaning in, he whispered into her ear. “What the fuck is Nezu doing here? You have so much to explain to me, Emi.”
Struggling to remove his hands, Emi cocked her head. “Love, please let me face you.” With him allowing her to do so, she raised herself up onto her toes. “Nezu wants us to work together. Like you said, he knew about you being here, but he thinks that it would be beneficial for everyone if you joined me.”
Darkening his expression, Shota scowled at Emi. “And I suppose you told him that I would do it?”
Furrowing her brow, Emi shook her head.
Lightening his appearance, he pressed his lips together, still with his eyes on her. With a brief sigh, Shota softly spoke, “Okay. We’ll discuss it with him, but don’t make any decisions for us, alright?”
Agreeing, she makes her way to the stove and gets out teacups for each of them. Patiently waiting for the kettle to go off, Emi brings the cups over and walks back. “I’ll be back. I’m just waiting for the water.”
 Moving toward Nezu, Shota seated himself on the couch, leaving a spot for Emi. “What makes you think that I would work for you after the fact you separated Emi and me?” He growled.
Folding his hands, Nezu tilted his head, showing Shota that he was giving him all his attention. “Emi said that you may not agree to work with her. I thought that it would help relieve the tension between you and Emi since you would be aware of everything she was doing. Otherwise, I’m going to have to pull her aside and move her elsewhere. I can’t have the two of you interacting if you’re not a team for this mission. Eri will be taken care of at either Emi’s place, or we could have you go back with me to UA where she can stay with Hizashi or Nemuri.”
Shota’s eyes burned with resentment. “So you’re going to pressure me into agreeing so that I can know what Emi is dealing with? But if I don’t, I have no idea what is going on along with the fact that you’re putting Eri into this, pisses me even more.”
Bringing the tea over, Emi sat it on the table and cuddled up to Shota. “Listen, can we at least bring Eri back home to Nemuri or Hizashi? I don’t think it’s right to force Shota to choose between the two of us like this. I would prefer for him to choose Eri over me, but neither is right.”
Aggravated, Shota hissed at both of them. “I can’t believe the two of you are involving me in this.”
Emi’s neutral expression slid from her face. Figuring it would be best for her to leave, she got up and was about to head out until Shota pulled her into his arms.
“You’re not leaving. You’re suffering through this with me.” Shota snapped as he gave her the death glare.
Flicking his nose, Emi snarled, “Bad dog.”
Clutching onto both hands, Shota tightened his grip around her. “That was a bitchy move. It seems that you don’t comprehend how much of a problem this whole situation is for me.”
Taking a deep breath, her eyelids drooped. “You’re right, that was a cruel thing for me to do.” Emi set her mouth in a hard line. She felt horrible for what she had done. It was actually quite selfish for her to try and walk out like that.
“Are you two done? You’re not going to be able to argue when you two work together.” Nezu addressed. Sipping from his mug, his eyes rose to check if they understood what they were getting themselves into.
With a quick nod, Emi bowed before making an apology. “Please forgive us, especially me, for acting so disgracefully.”
“I revoke nothing.” Shota retorted.
Emi’s face twisted as she didn’t know how to respond to her fiance’s bluntness.
“I expected nothing less from you, Shota.” Nezu calmly admitted.
“Sad to say, I respected you a lot more than I have in the past month, Nezu.” Letting his raven-colored hair fall in front of his face as he leaned down, Shota weighed the pros and cons of each possible scenario. It wasn’t long before he noticed that Nezu and Emi were both waiting for him to make a decision. Emi didn’t have much choice either way since she had signed a contract without him even knowing. Nezu didn’t give the impression of being manipulative, but the principal didn’t share a whole lot about himself to anyone. It happened that Shota was the same way, except that he didn’t use people’s emotions and feelings to get his way. “If you think I’m going to work for you, you’d be lying to yourself. There is no way in hell I’ll be working for you again.”
“What about your students?” Emi interceded. “I know they mean the world to you. Don’t allow your hate for Nezu to determine what you’d do for your students.”
Nodding, Nezu agreed with the woman. “Yes. Don’t let your bitterness toward me dictate everything for you.” Pressing the lip of the mug to his
 lips, he drank from it as he awaited their response.
Emi placed her hand on Shota’s cheek, knowing that this whole situation was extremely excruciating for him. “Love. I know this is one of the most challenging decisions you’ve had to make. I just want you to know that I’ll stick by you either way.”
Shota glowered at his fiancee. He had enough of both of them. “If I could give you a piece of my mind, I would.” He growled, watching them act like nothing happened between them.
Cupping his face, Emi brought him in, kissing his forehead.
“Emi, I’m not in the mood.” Shota flatly stated.
Sadness suddenly clouded Emi’s features. “Oh, right…” Turning her head away, Emi struggled to fight the tears already forming in her eyes. “I hate it when we fight.”
Pulling her in with his rough, calloused hands, he held her head against his chest. Shota grasped that this was more difficult for her than he initially thought. Leaning down, he whispered, “Emi, please. We’ll talk about this afterward, alright?” Raising his head, he announced, “Fine. We’ll do it only on the terms that Eri can go to Emi’s father’s.”
Immediately hardening his expression, Nezu shook his head. “We can’t.”
Flaring her nostrils, Emi snarled, “We? You and the fucking government, Nezu! I know I agreed to work for Japan and the U.S., but this is ridiculous! You expect us to give our daughter to a stranger? Hell will freeze over before we’ll do such a thing!”
Taken aback, Shota had never seen Emi so agitated. Intertwining his fingers through her hair, he pulled her close, “We’ll figure this out. I promise.”
Pressing his cup to his lips, Nezu taunted them, “I see Emi has grown fowl mouth since you’ve been here. That’s not going to assist either of you in this.”
Bolting out of Shota’s arms, Emi hurled her fist at Nezu. Stopping her, Shota seized her by her face and waist. “Hey, Em. Stop. I know how angry you are. However, there are better ways to go about this.”
Taking deep, steady breaths, Emi relaxes, still uneasy about the whole situation. “Do you think we’ll give our daughter to you when we don’t trust you?” She vocalized.
“Emi, you have no say on this since you already work for the government unless you want to be hunted down. Shota, if I agree to have Emi’s father come up and get Eri, you’ll sign along with Emi to enter the same contract.” Nezu dictated.
“NO! DON’T DO IT,” Emi screamed, jostling with Shota.
Clutching her head, Shota held her tight, assuring that it would be alright. “Okay. Fine, we won’t leave until we make sure that Eri and Emi’s father leave safely, though.”
Before agreeing to his terms, Shota demanded from the creature, “You write it down, and I’ll sign it. I’m not shaking on it or doing any verbal agreement shit. I’m not an idiot, Nezu.”
Chuckling, Nezu hopped down and wandered to the table. “Emi, would you get a sheet of paper for us? Along with a pen?”
“Okay.” Turning away, Emi went to search for the requested items. After a few minutes, she came back with a notebook and a pen in hand.
Clasping it, Shota set it on the table. “There is no way in hell you’re going to get this past me, Nezu, so don’t even think about being clever.”
“Alright,” Nezu uttered, already writing down their contract. “I’ll have this typed out and then bring it to you.”
“Fine, but I’m taking a picture of this. If you change this, we’ll check back to what we agreed to before, and I’ll get your ass sued for altering it.” Shota threatened, veins popping out of his neck.
Snickering, Nezu jeered the man in front of him, “You just can’t have any fun these days, Shota. What a disappointment. One would think that Ms. Joke would teach you how to loosen up…”
Interrupting, Shota barked, “You leave her out of this! You’ve caused your own problems, rat.”
Nezu chortled at the man’s words; he hadn’t expected Shota to be so hostile toward him. Yet, he was slightly amused by this side of him. “Listen, I’ve written it according to your rules. There’s no cheating involved, alright?”
Glaring at Nezu, Shota carefully inspected the contract. Agreeing to its terms, he signed it. Taking his phone, he took a picture of it and saved it to his dropbox. “Alright, take it before I take out my anger on you.”
Picking the contract up, Nezu folded it up and slipped it into his suit. “Alright, if you need me…” Pursing his lips, he studied the room before leaving, searching for anything that could be used against them later. “Well, I keep you informed.” He announced, leaving their apartment.
Sprinting to the door, Emi locked it. “I’m so sorry, Shota.”
“Why? We’ll get it figured out.” He sighed, eyes locked on his phone.
“Well...I got you involved in this…” Emi uttered,  approaching him from behind.
Raising his face from his phone, he informed her, “I was already involved in this months ago.”
Unable to argue, Emi concluded that it would be better not to discuss this topic anymore. So, she left the room and hid in their bedroom.
