The anthology comic Marvel Comics Presents 26, cover date, August, 1989, introduced some new characters. In the "Rise and Shine (pt 1)- New York" segment Coldblood (Eric Savin) and Mako were introduced created by Doug Moench and Paul Gulacy. In "Panther's Quest (pt 14) Somebody's Going to Pay" Walter Olebogeng first appeared, created by Don McGregor and Gene Colan. I know the Rose Hill sequence is mainly remembered for nobody liking Harley, but this is actually one of my favorite parts in the movie. Not my favorite favorite, but it's up there.

Once again, we see Tony in Detective Mode, doing some actual crime investigation. He makes some crime scene deductions, follows leads, and is able to help a grieving mother find peace. This is good stuff.

Harley's main job here is just to give Tony someone to talk to. That's the whole reason his character exists. Film is a visual medium; The audience is not partial to a character's inner thoughts and feelings. In order for characters to express those thoughts and feelings, they have to do it verbally - And that always goes smoother when they have a sounding board character to bounce off of.

J.A.R.V.I.S. typically fills that role for Tony. His first and foremost function in this franchise is to serve as the second party to Tony's thinking-monologues. But they knocked out the suit here, so Tony needs a physical person to substitute temporarily for J.A.R.V.I.S.

And a physical person who knows this small town community and its lore? Even better.

As for the knocking out of Tony's suit? It gives us a really fun and creative action scene that serves two purposes:

1 - Showing off what the Extremis Soldiers can really do. We've seen them explode, regenerate, and shoot missiles out of a helicopter, but this is the first time we've really gotten to see them fight. By putting Tony on the back foot, Brandt and Savin get to really show off their powers and build suspense for future confrontations.

2 - Well, future confrontations for Savin and other Extremis soldiers. The other purpose is that we get to see Tony fighting tooth and nail outside of the suit. The film explores this concept twice: Here and with Tony's gadget assault on the Mandarin's lair. But I don't really like the gadget assault.

For me, Tony taking down an Extremis Soldier through physics and an extensive knowledge gleaned from the defense industry in how to make things explode? That's more fun than punking some guards with jury-rigged Home Depot weapons. We already know what Tony can do with a box of scraps.

The Deep House - 2021

Review: I read the plot to this movie, and was immediately interested in what it had to offer. A house that's "perfectly preserved" underwater that a couple goes to visit, and they find out it's haunted.

Now, when I read "perfectly preserved" I would assume that although the house is underwater, there would be some sort of haunted magic that's got it so the inside of the house isn't actually underwater. But that's not what I got, and what I got was very odd.

The movie starts out as found footage, and ends with being found footage, but their are random segments that aren't found footage. Both the main characters are Youtubers, so they set it up like we are watching the raw unedited footage of what their video would have been.

They bring an underwater drone with them to take shots with, but as the movie goes on the technology within the drone gets more and more advanced. First it's just a drone, and then when it's convenient it also has an echolocation function, and then even later in the movie it also has the technology to exclude them from being detected by the Echolocation because they are within the "set parameters". So they are able to swim around without setting off the radar. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

The main characters are both frustrating. The man is an asshole to his girlfriend the whole movie, and the woman is frustratingly stupid. They get trapped in the house by a brick wall that appears in the doorway, and they are unable to break the windows. As the haunting begins you figure out that we will be spending the entire movie with the main characters in scuba gear, and that they have an awful CGI face on each of their masks because the actors aren't actually underwater.

All the ghosts in the movie haunt the house like they would normally do in a horror movie, except they don't movie very fast because they are underwater, so it kind of takes any sort of tension away from the movie because they are just as inhibited by the water as the regular people are .

There are a couple scenes that are interesting to watch in an underwater setting, but it's not enough to make this movie worth watching.

Deluxe limited edition vinyl LP of the unpublished Nenad Vilović lost synth-masterpiece Prizma. The Yugoslavian and Croatian disco and pop chart-maker and once a Split International Music Festival headman (also in groups Grupa ST, Mladi Batali, etc.), producer of Dino Dvornik, Ambasadori, Oliver Dragojević, Meri Cetinić, Leo Martin and many more, recorded this space-prog-electronica album in complete secrecy. ★ It was refused in the 1980s by all major Yugoslavian record labels for being too experimental, but it is actually a game changer in the field of socialist YU electronica. Miha Kralj, Laza Ristovski, Igor Savin and Kornelije Kovač now have company in the field of complex analog synthesizer concept albums, with this one being finally released by Fox & His Friends Records after 37 years of being shelved. Every instrument on this album has been played by Vilović himself. This rare piece of vinyl is cut by Pauler Acoustics, mastered by Antony Ryan and features exclusive cover design by Eric Adrian Lee.

In the golden era of pop music in Yugoslavia, city of Split had a special place. The Adriatic Sea, nearing Italian radio stations and the famous San Remo music festival that influenced almost everything, from fashion, lifestyle to music. It's local counterpart was The Split Pop Music Festival since the 1960s, international at first and lasting even till now. Our hero was in the organizational leadership at the end of the 1990s and attracted much public disapproval while selecting the tunes for the competition: he resolutely refused to include what he considered old-fashion songs. Nenad Vilović fiercely wanted the Split Festival and music scene to modernize, in order to appeal to the younger audiences and to reach the charts and dance-floors. As the sound of the time regarding his requirements was predominately electronic, the ‘traditionalists’ hated him.

It was not the first time Nenad Vilović (often under the names ST or Nenad Vilović & Grupa ST) clashed with the keepers of tradition. Long before he managed Split Festival, many of his songs and productions won the awards of the popular vote and became high-selling singles. However, critics smashed his efforts, calling him a commercial sell-out and even the local term was forged especially for him: ‘čekićanje’ and ‘kovačija’, meaning ‘hammering’ and ‘blacksmithing’ of the songs that introduced 4/4 beat. It was Vilović’s love of dance culture and disco, catchy melodies and fun lyrics that his opponents and critics took as a final proof that this guy is making empty and shallow pop music.

Nenad Vilović has enjoyed quite of success; produced, composed and arranged for numerous artists and himself as well; been in several groups starting the legendary Mladi Batali and released singles and LPs for some of the largest companies in Yugoslavia: Jugoton, PGP RTB and Diskoton. But, as he jokingly said when Leri Ahel and Željko Luketić first met him in his studio: I was all ‘kovačija’, they said! Then he played us the main theme of an album that was shelved for a staggering 37 years, luscious and layered synth-prog piece called “Introduction to The Prism”. Amazing! The tape was played once in the 80s to a local music critic who said “oh, you CAN make quality music!”, but it was still rejected by a major labels for being “too experimental”.

The studio master is here presented in its entirety; no track was replaced or changed its side or order. This is how it was imagined to be released in 1985, when Nenad Vilović played all instruments, produced, composed, arranged, recorded and even sang on the whole thing. However the title “Prizma” may suggest, this is not a structuralist concept album, but a conceptual use of his studio, instruments and musical knowledge. It mixes the ethnic, electronic, geographical and ambient roots of the crowned festival producer, hit-maker and fast-skilled studio musician who spent all of his money on new machines and his musical progress.

A black SUV pulls up to the gates of RavenCroft institute for the criminally insane. "Can I help you?"

The drivers side window rolls down and the woman inside pulls her pink sunglasses off."Yeah you can let me in I'm Caroline Stark. I'm a family friend of the Osborn's."

"Your not on the list and Mr. Osborn is not permitted visitors."

Caroline's hand starts to glow volcanic and she reaches out and starts to burn his guard tower door. "Your going to let me in and tell me where Mr. Osborn is being held."

The bank vault door to Harry's cell opens he can't turn around to see who is coming because of the straight jacket but luckily they have him seated in front of a dirty mirror.

"Need a rescue Mr. Osborn."

He grins some might say evilly but you could also say delight. "About time Miss Stark."

As she quickly goes over to undone the straps of his straight jacket she looks up at his messed up hair which actually looks good on him. "They wouldn't let me in I'm not family. Plus when I said who I was here to see they said you weren't allowed any visitors."

Harry scoffs as he pulls his arms free for the first time in days. He has to hand it to the board of Oscorp they are good. "Who did you piss off to get in here anyway?"

He side eyes her as they go to the door. "You want to have this conversation right now?"

She rolls her eyes and hands him a white face mask and a white doctors coat. She is also wearing the same thing. "Here put these on." As they exit the cell they see two guards still unconscious on the ground. He's Impressed didn't know she had it in her.

Both are constantly aware of their surroundings while they head towards the main doors. They try to keep their heads down and look like they belong, they only get stopped once and a security guard asks for their badge to sign out. Harry punches him in the face. She wants to tell him seriously but how she got to his cell was no better so she can't judge. If only her father could see her now she honestly doesn't know what he would think, probably not thrilled that she is helping an Osborn or breaking him out of jail." Come on we have to go before everyone is found or wakes up."

They run towards the door once outside they ditch their doctor clothes and get into the black SUV awaiting them. Since Caroline sent Eric and Brock on a mission she will have to drive them out.

"Are you sure you know what your doing?" Harry looks over at her and how she is positioned it does not insure confidence in him.

" I know how to drive." She puts the car in park and as they are pulling out alarms start going off and the gate starts going down. She takes a breath she can do this. Tony taught her how to drive. She will admit she had more confidence driving in then driving out.

"Hold on!" Harry grips the handle on the roof of the passengers side door. Is it too late to go back to the straightjacket.
