CONTENT WARNINGS IN TAGS.

1. Bakugou at a celebratory dinner for school. The whole class is there, along with their families! Katsuki is forced to silently endure a whole evening of passive-agressive as well as completely unsubtle digs and insults from his mother. He finally snaps at the end of the night, talks back like he’s wanted to the whole time, and gets smacked and yelled at for it. There are teachers present, but they don’t say anything. His friends are there, but they stay quiet, too.

2. There’s been a villain attack at U.A. Most of the students and pros are split up. Both All Might and Deku are down. The villain is approaching, about to attack, and Katsuki only has enough time to rescue one of them. Does he rescue his hero, his surrogate father? Or does he rescue Deku, who might never forgive him for this choice? ...I physically can’t force myself to think this thru any further lmao so thats it

3. Katsuki and Deku have made it; they’re a pro hero duo, and they’ve ascended the hero charts in record time. At this rate, they’ll be number 1 on the next hero charts. They’re ecstatic. And then, Katsuki makes a mistake that will haunt him for years. Katsuki holds his boyfriend’s hand at the wrong moment, pulls him in for a kiss just where they’re visible. Paparazzi catch them, and the news is out within hours: the wonder duo are gay. Their ratings plummet. Their PR teams urge them to break up or at least deny the rumours. And bkdk.. they fight for weeks. Katsuki beats himself up with guilt, he’s terrified that after all this time he’s crushed Deku’s dreams once again. They don’t communicate properly, and Katsuki gets so upset he decides to leave their apartment for a while, scared he’ll take it out on Deku, that he’ll hurt him. Deku takes this as Kacchan deciding to breakup, and goes to the media himself to deny the rumours. (Katsuki finds out by seeing it on t.v.)

4. Alright im making myself really sad so, a nice, simple, classic angst: todo/deku get together right before graduation. It fucking breaks Katsuki’s heart to lose the both of them, even if theyre both still his friends. On their anniversary, they invite baku over, fuck knows why. He tells them he’ll go, but cancels last minute. tddk were already at the restaurant, and leave after baku says he isn’t showing up. They die in a car accident on the way home. :,)

5. There’s a horrific earthquake. No one saw it coming. No one could do anything about it. Katsuki was with Deku and the others when it all began, but they were separated. He spends hours searching for them, for any sign of them as aftershocks hit and emergency services are stretched beyond thin. One by one, he finds his friends, but he can’t find deku. A call goes out for available heroes to go to a collapsed building for a rescue. A man s trapped beneath it with a child. The man is, of course, Deku, who was trying to rescue the girl when he became trapped himself. Deku stays on the child’s phone, talking to Katsuki as everyone digs through the rubble. Over the hours, Deku slowly becomes quieter. Eventually, he stops responding entirely. The only sound on the line is a child’s sobs.
