History of the F.A.U.L.T. Organization
Founded in the 1930's as a company named Flaw Termination Service, it specialized in treating patients with mental problems, their main practice being lobotomies. Whoever was sent to their office, no matter what was "wrong" with the client, the treatment would usually be a lobotomy.
The company claimed to be completely successful in its endeavors, but that was not the case. Only a part of patients actually benefited from the companies services. Most of the time the people treated came out with awful side effects and sometimes even as entirely different people. Not wanting to ruin their 'stellar' reputation, the companies founders sent these people to be hidden away in a secret facility to rot away. This facility is located where the FAULT building is located in present times.
After few decades of operations, a lower down employee of the company let it slip what was happening to the patients to a few close friends. Said friends approached the higher-ups to ask whether what the employee said was factual. They said that it was not and sent them away. Concerned with their secret practices getting leaked they had two options. They could either continue with the company as it was and fire said employee. Or they could rebrand and forget their past entirely. They decide to rebrand and put the past in the past.
So, in a matter of years, Flaw Termination Service fades out of existence and a brand new company emerges. It's known as Olympic Therapy. Instead of using lobotomies, like previous companies, they focused on medications like antidepressants to cure mental illnesses or at least make them better. Drugs like iproniazid and imipramine were being first clinically introduced around the time, so Olympic Therapy quickly jumped on the bandwagon and started prescribing patients with more accuracy in what they had and what treatment to use. The facilities previously used to hide patients was reopened as a hospital with no connection to the company. This was the start of a new golden age for the company that would last for almost 40 years.
It was around the 1990s that the company shifted its approach. At the time a man named Samuel Darby was named the president of the company. He had been with the company for a few years, always watching how the higher-ups did it. And when he came to power, he decided to change methods. He was a bit obsessed with Ancient Greek mythology and decided to implement it into the new method. He would personally assign each patient their alias when hey first arrived on F.A.U.L.T., but when the new method got more popular, he hired people to do it for him. He focused on the patients 'faults' and how to fix them or at least make them better. To this day, the organization is still running smoothly and effectively.

WIP: F.A.U.L.T.
F.A.U.L.T. is basically a facility where people go or are sent to fix problems. Kinda like a giant therapy facility. It's largely based off Greek Mythology. Each person is given a number and a codename. The codenames are people from myths that share their faults. Faults are basically what's wrong with them or their fatal flaw. For example, the character codenamed Icarus got too close to temptation (aka the temptation of going higher in the original myth) and metaphorically 'burns up' (flies into the sun, again in relation to the myth).  F.A.U.L.T. is where they are sent to get rid of their 'faults'.
It is placed in the modern world, just the facility is remote. There is a local town where patients can go shop and roam around. They accept anyone older than a Junior in high school. At the facility, there are therapy sessions, classes for those still in school, and free time. If you're in college, you have to finish your degree online.
The whole story revolves around the main character Cara (codename Pandora), who was sent to F.A.U.L.T. There she meets the other main characters and helps them in some way get over their sins/faults and move on and in return in the very end, they all help her get over her demons.
The main inspiration was basically one day I was listening to Burn, which has an allusion to the story of Icarus in it. I thought 'wouldn't it be cool if there was a guy, codenamed Icarus, who got 'burned up' somehow'. And here we are now. Enjoy!
