Hey Tumblr World!

Finally I convinced myself to open a brand new fanfic site for our one and only William Fichtner. 😆

Let me introduce myself. My name is Nicole, I’m a Hungarian 21 yro uni-student, and I’m a REEEAAAL fangirl. The main fangroups I’m in is the one of Billie Fichtner (ofc), Ruth Wilson, Matthew Gray Gubler, but I also love so very damn much Luke Evans, Colin Firth, but also Jeanne Tripplehorn, Emma Thompson (just to name a few women too). My most recent, brand new love is for Lin-Manuel Miranda, cause currently I’m watching the series His Dark Materials, and... I fall so easily, what can one do. 😆

My fanfiction-writing past is dating WAY back in the historical years of 2012. So, I write since some years. Usually I write short stories you could call comfort-stories, which are also my favourites to read too. I’M LIVING FOR those fluff, smooth, cute little stories with our most-loved fictional characters. 🤗

First I saw William in the movie called The Lone Ranger, and at the end of the movie I literally felt sorry for Butch Cavendish. 🤣 So yeah, I saw him under the mask, felt his loving heart under Butch’s rock-hard one, and here we are, he’s my favourite, number one since 2013. I watched Prison Break and Crossing Lines because of him (and I got new loves from these series also, who would have thought 🤣 Wentworth Miller and Marc Lavoine tho 🤤), REWATCHED them for about two-three times, and so on.

I’m writing fanfictions about him for such a long time ago as well. I was so disappointed when, back in time, you just couldn’t find ANY Fichtner/Mahone fictions here (not to mention poor Carl Hickman; I haven’t even tried to search on his name). I would love to read other stories besides of mines, because, as you may know, it’s SOOO different, when you can read others’ posts. I’m happy to see that nowadays there are more fans of him are here then were 4-5 years ago. I’m so thankful for you all. ✨🥰  My secret hope is to become one of these blogs, offering some stories to read for new and old fans of him scrolling here and trying to find something.

So yeah, long story short, he’s in my life for such a long time, and I’m finally taking a step forward and I decided to post my own stories. The main reason I haven’t done this before is the language. As I mentioned, my native is Hungarian, which means I have to translate all the writings I want to post here. Now is the time when I say let’s try this, and, let’s try not to feel bad about it. I will make mistakes, I even have made in these past few rows as well, but please, forgive me. I don’t know if my English sounds too formal (which I feel it does 🤣), or if I use too much the personal pronoun ‘I’ (which I feel I do 🤣). I’m trying to improve.

I don’t know if anyone will read this ffff LONG writing, I don’t know if anyone will read any of my writings, but I’m here, I’m enthusiastic, and I’m ready to post my first little fanfiction here! ✨

(This post is extra awesome because I just got into a Facebook discussion today about appreciating Highlander: The TV Series with someone who is just about to watch it for the first time.) 🗡️⠀ ⠀ Over the weekend, I didn't only get to participate in the Sword Experience that I posted about, but I also got to meet Adrian Paul during #GrandRapidsComicCon.⠀ ⠀ For me, this is a pretty big deal. The character of Duncan MacLeod and Highlander were a huge part of my childhood. I often rewatch the show, and even got @coshade into it when we first got together. 📺⠀ ⠀ This experience was one of the most relaxed and personable celebrity encounters I've ever had. I am so used to waiting for people to start the conversation on their end - bring up a topic and talk about a subject of *their* choosing.
