Mcu!Quentin Beck

This Beck is by far the most yandere like in canon, at least in my eyes.

He'd probably meet his object of affection while working under Stark, and there's a good chance they're the only person who actively supported his projects.

One day, while they're visiting the industries for one reason or another, he offers to show them the passion project he's working on. The drones.

Beck doesn't directly mean to scare them, initially, it happens completely on accident when he uses the holograms, yet the second they yelp, and grab his arms, it's game over.

His darling grabbing him in a panic, going to him for consolation while they're scared, it touches all the right buttons for him. Beck doesn't even feel the need to flirt anymore, after all, they seem into him already.

Then comes Mysterio, the brand new hero. There's a good chance that his obsession is now working with Peter, or already worked for SHIELD. Either way, he's able to get them Europe all the same, alongside Peter, of course.

Beck lays on the 'Hero saving the damoiseau in distress' hard. Every chance he gets, his saving his love, of course, that means he's orchestrating them being in danger, a lot, but he'll never let them get hurt

He also would he one to trade out the wife story for his love, saying they were his spouse, that they died in his world, and he was so happy to see them again after all this time

When he gets found out, this is where the problem arises. His obsession freaks out, screaming at him, the whole nine yards.

All he does is smile, pull them into his arms, ignore the way they hit him, and let his drones do the work.

And when the drones forms their worst nightmares, when they form horrors beyond imagination, Beck is there to pull them into his arms, with a smile on his face.

"Just like old times, isn't it, darling?"

This Beck is interesting to me.

Now, meeting him would be interesting. I feel like he'd meet his obsession through the theater or Tinkerer. Either way, they'd have to show some kind of intrest to his craft. If they go to one of his shows, he immediately falls for them.

He probably won't try and ask them out, not early on. Not because he's nervous, but rather because he needs them to be close to him first. Not even in a bad way either, he just wants a friendship before a relationship.

I feel like he'd live a second life, Spiderman sorta thing. As Quentin Beck, he's his love's dear friend, a shoulder for them to cry on, and a person to have laughs with. As Mysterio, though, it's the exact opposite. He torments his love, kidnapping them, scaring them, and all around being a, well, obvious yandere.

Something he'd do is scare his obsession as Mysterio, really mess up their brain, and then pick up the pieces as Quentin. No matter what, Beck is always there for them.

Eventually, his love falls right into his arms, either it be Quentin's or Mysterio's, it doesn't matter. No matter what, once it happens, you aren't getting away ever again.

If you fall for Quentin, he'd bring you to his home under the guise of a date or a sleepover, and use gas or drugs to knock you out. When yoy wake up, you'd be in either a basement, or an abandoned theater, Mysterio, without the bowl, waiting patiently for you to wake.

If you fall for Mysterio (for god knows why), he'd do something similar. Unlike Quentin, though, he'd take you straight to an abandoned building, toss off the bowl, yank you into his arms with a smile.

"What do you think, love? Is the mask better on or off?"

Amazing how we haven't had a bad theme for Spidey characters and villains actually

#like all the spider-men themes? go hard. Both TASM scores. Raimi stuff. Giacchino's theme #AND THE VILLAINS???? #LITERALLY NOT ONE VILLAIN HAS A BAD THEME #you could make the argument that Lizard has the most 'forgettable' one but his is still pretty darn solid I would argue #goblin themes from raimi stuff? ock's theme? sANDMAN'S THEME?!?!?!?! #electro's theme is ICONIC. And I love the haunting nature of Harry Goblin's theme ngl #and ugh mcu spidey has such great villain themes #even if I dislike FFH immensely I gotta admit Mysterio's theme is VERY fun #tho Giacchino its on SIGHT for not using raimi themes more Fully in NWH. though the new themes added in that movie are all great #Spider-Verse themes go without saying the amount of LAYERS and ARTISTRY in them is just. mwah.

i love the small repetitive things mysterio does

like he talks with his hands alot, it helps him get his point across (when he's yelling he throws his arm(s) down a bit to show he's angry, or when he said "someone get this stupid costume off of me" even though it was clear he was talking about himself he still felt so moved as to point at the suit)

also that EYEBROW THING HE DOES

he'll be listening to someone talk (like peter when he was on the roof with him) and he'll intuitively just go 😲 but without the mouth,, i dont know why he does it i think its cool ((even though it makes him look a bit more crazy))
