My mind cannot comprehend the bravery of the Palestinians.

If you want to see the level of eeman, go and research about the people of palestine.

Now I am going to connect this with my own life.

Years ago, I used to watch an anime called Attack on Titan with my cousins. Highly impactful. Would recommend anyone to watch. 10/10.

A scene which is in my heart even to this day will be Commander Erwin Smiths Speech. If you have watched this, you can refresh your memory and for those who do not know, Ill post the contents below:

Commander Erwin Smith: I will now announce our final operation! All soldiers, line up! All units will now perform a mounted charge! Our objective is to rush the Beast Titan! Obviously, this will make us a perfect target for the enemy! We will observe and take into account the target's throws, then, we will all fire signal flares simultaneously! Nameless Soldier: (falls to her knees and voids her stomach's contents)

Erwin: Standing around here simply means waiting for rocks to come raining down on us! Now hurry up and get ready!

Floch Forrester: (Terrified out of his mind) Are we... about... to die?

Erwin: That's right.

Floch: So you're saying... if we're going to die anyway, we might as well die fighting?

Erwin: That's right.

Floch: No... if we're going to die anyway... we can die however we want... we could even die while disobeying orders... There's no meaning to any of it, is there...?

Erwin: That's absolutely right. It is all utterly meaningless. No matter what dreams or hopes you may have, no matter what kind of blissful life you've lived until now... what happens to your body when it gets shredded by a rock... is the same. All men die sooner or later. Does that mean all life is meaningless? Was there no purpose to any of us ever being born? And if so, would you say the same of our dead comrades? Were all of their lives... meaningless? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT! IT IS UP TO US TO GIVE MEANING TO OUR COMRADES' DEATHS! THOSE BRAVE FALLEN MEN AND WOMEN! THOSE POOR FALLEN MEN AND WOMEN! THE ONLY ONES WHO ARE CAPABLE OF PAYING RESPECT TO THEM, ARE WE, THE LIVING! WE TOO SHALL ALL DIE HERE TODAY, AND ENTRUST THOSE NEXT IN LINE WITH THE SAME DUTY OF GIVING MEANING TO US! THAT IS THE SOLE WAY WE CAN OPPOSE THIS CRUEL WORLD! RAGE, MY SOLDIERS! SCREAM, MY SOLDIERS! FIGHT, MY SOLDIERS!!!

This Scene has my heart and soul.

Even though it wasnt from real life, my mind was captured by this scene.

Now I realise, this is what the Palestinians are going through. Fighting even thought death is inevitable. Do you realise what strength that takes? Lions. They are lions.

Their levels of eman makes me cry. And strengthens my hope.

May Allah swt give them victory.

Our hearts and soul is with Palestine.

The world has ended for them for years and yet they fight back.

You cannot destroy a nation protected by Allah swt.

Keep them in your prayers.

Never forget, we are one Ummah.

"On June 8, the New Brunswick government rolled back protections for trans students in public schools.

The announcement of the review of Policy 713 drew hundreds into the streets in defence of the policy. Days after the announcement of the review, more than 350 protesters rallied in front of the New Brunswick legislature in Fredericton in support of the policy.

The New Brunswick Union has already stepped up to condemn the revisions to the policy, and back its members who do choose not to implement the revisions. […] If all teachers and school staff refuse to apply the change, then the revision of Policy 713 will remain a dead letter. This would be a tremendous example of workers’ solidarity in the fight against oppression for all others to follow."

realized i should probably post about this on here: don't join the international marxist tendency (socialist fightback in canada, socialist appeal in the UK, socialist revolution in the US). they're currently engaging in a mass campaign of harassment and slander against my partner for speaking out about the abuse that them, myself, and others all experienced within the org. you can read about what happened to us in their statement (cw for sexual assault & harassment, domestic violence, transphobia)

since speaking out we've been reached out to by at least a dozen more people who experienced abuse within the org. there are known sexual abusers in the org who are in leadership positions and who are being protected by the rest of leadership. it is not safe for women and trans people.

1825: 3 African slaves led a revolt in Guamacaro Cuba that began the revolution to end African slavery

June 28th to July 3rd 1969: Stonewall INN, located in Greenwich Village NYC, Marsha P. Johnson, an African American trans woman stood in defiance against illegal police raids in gay communities. This turned into a riot, the first gay pride parade...Marsha, who was described as happy, loving, caring, was found dead in 1992 ruled suicide by cops who didn't want to waste time on the "colored fag" this woman fought, not just for herself but for the social injustice against her community. She died a martyr.

1968: Democratic National Convention Chicago, Civilians filled the street, all of them opposed the Vietnam war, had gathered in protest. After days of harassment and threats the police opened fire with tear gas and mercilessly pummeled unarmed civilians with batons. All because they gathered in a park without a permit. As the fight ended with the protesters bloody, broken, some critically injured, a couple dead, began the chant "the whole world is watching"

2020: country wide Black Lives Matter riots. After multiple instances of police brutality resulting in death against the black community people took to the street and returned the brutality.

Dr. Martin Luther King has a quote/speech...I can't fully remember the whole thing but I'm going to do my best, while adding revisions...

And what exactly has the supreme court failed to hear? No, not failed... just fucking blatantly ignored? It's the cries of all you women who deserve not just the American right but the human right to govern your own body. The united states' government took your bodily autonomy and gave your uterus to "God". A god who might I remind everyone, sent his only begotten son to be tortured and crucified. Women's rights have been set back 50 years. They claim to care about the child's life but neglect countless children in foster care or homeless, children who are abused and many times killed by caregivers. They don't give a fuck about life, they care more about their bullshit christian fairy tale and keeping the status quo. You should all be disgusted by this, Female and Male alike. And this isn't only about women's rights, no ladies you're just the first domino to be toppled. Religious belief took your rights, next it will be the sanctity of marriage and LGBTQ right are going to be attacked, then African American rights, then before we know it we're going to be back in the Salem witch trials because they are no longer separating church and state. The time is now to stop this before it gets too much momentum. I'm willing to die for this, who's with me?"

"In addition to fomenting prejudices and pitting working-class people against each other along lines of identity and “culture,” both ruling-class parties regard the transphobic fever as a key factor in their short-term electoral calculations.

Through one reactionary crusade after another, the GOP has courted this base, finding new ways to get prejudiced voters to the ballot box, while trampling on the basic rights of one oppressed group after another.

For Democrats, the useful specter of the “greater evil” is a welcome foil for their campaigns. Their calculations simply run in reverse, betting that their pro-LGBTQ lip service will help their chances in 2024, while doing absolutely nothing in practice to defend trans rights or living conditions.

Symbolic gestures from “progressive” politicians promising “respect” and “visibility” won’t provide stable housing, healthcare, or reliable jobs with decent wages and workplace protections.

One of the more optimistic figures […]68% of trans workers said their coworkers were supportive […] Mutual respect between workers of all backgrounds and identities can grow organically out of the daily experience of working side by side.

Though oppression is experienced in different ways by individuals, the key to ending it is collective struggle, as a class."
