Until he met this devastatingly handsome young peasant boy who was from this faraway land and said the most ghastly things to him. And made him feel truly alive for the first time in his life.
No hesitation I would absolutely listen to Aabria and Erika horrifying their friends with bullshit internet facts. Please this is content I crave. Let me witness you explaining ao3 to Brennan, I am begging. Please talk about babygirlism and poor little meow meows to some unsuspecting civilians. This is a brilliant idea.
Aabria talking bout Suvi and thriving in a crisis and baby what a fucking mood.
But also. Like the way that Suvi and Ame are helping each other move through spaces where one knows the rules and the other doesn't is so ND friend behavior. Witch v Wizard or Toma v Citadel.
That moment in particular but also the arc in general kind of being Suvi's chance to kinda repay the hospitality Ame showed Suvi during the time at Grandma Wren's.
In Arc 1, Eursulon could have reasonably been the one to explain and guide them however he was too mired in his feelings of failure and didn't realize they were so out of their depth.
Definitely Suvi and Ame certainly thought they knew what they were doing. And so they fell into old patterns that didn't really serve in the situation.
It will be interesting to see how they mesh as a squad in the next bit as they depart the Citadel.
