Full moon in the sky, owl hooting. Nightshade bursts into frame with a screech, holding the human in their talons.

They fly down to a roof top, the human making noises and saying "OH! Put me down, put me down!". Nightshade transforms into bot mode, parts of their helm folded inwards, and covering their lower face with a mask like plating. They lean into the light and unfurl their plating.

The human has a bob with bangs and a blue streak, and wears glasses, and is hiding behind a held up bag, afraid. The bag has rainbow handles, and several ennamel pins, including one that says "She/they". 

Nightshade tilts their head: Oooh! I like your pins! [The human looks confused, Nightshade smiles] I am Nightshade, my pronouns are they/them!

She smiles cautiously and lowers their bag: Thanks, I'm Sam. [They approach Nightshade] I'm... She/they... but you already know that. [Laughs awkwardly]

She walks to the edge rooftop, looking over the city. Nightshade leaps ontop of the water tower. Eyes big with awe, camera rotating around them as they take in sight: Wow, what an amazing city.

They leap down the half wall Sam stands infront of, balacing and walking across it. Sam watches this: I'm sorry for how I reacted, its just. [They lean again the wall, looking down to the city] Sometimes the world can be... a scary place. It's hard to know who's dangerous or not.

Nightshade sits, legs dangling of the roof, humms: That's true, though disapointing. [Looks down sadly]

Sam, encouragingly: Hey... its okay! I know I'm safe when I'm with my friends... or other non binary people [She gestures to Nightshade]

Nightshade, looking interest: Non binary?

Sam: People who aren't female or male. [Nightshade looks away. Sam off screen] Awww I'm sorry... I shouldn't have assumed.

#we're in the cutting corners to survive era of our life rn and that's why we're looking for new insurance.. these past few years we've #hardly done medical things beyond the standard doctor/allergist/dentist visits so i'm partial to getting a plan with #low premiums bc 1. we can't afford to spend too much on it and 2. we haven't really needed it #BUT. while i'm looking at all of this the evil anxiety bug in my brain is like ah but. what if you were suddenly #diagnosed with.. THE DISEASE... i would like to pretend i do not see it #i'm nervous because. my dad puts my mom through so much shit that i worry something Could happen to her just on the basis of blood pressure #and stuff.. but i also worry that thinking about that kind of stuff makes it more likely to come true #fears aside.. girl i don't think any of my medications are approved under the plan i'm looking at which </3 agonies.. i think i would just #have to write to the insurance company or have a pcp write for me to get it approved? which hopefully isn't a big deal #but What If It Is.. i would die without fluocinolone O_O; i'm trying to get myself off of triam before my skin becomes addicted to it so #honestly it'd probably be more incentive to get off of it if i didn't have access to it.. but fluo is the only thing keeping me stable #right naurw ur honor <3 i should see if i can find my old receipts from the pharmacy to see how much it is without insurance #i remember when i used to get eucrisa.. it was like $900 without insurance and i was like. Today as I was talking to one of my coworkers who I really haven’t talked with before, I noticed that she kept pausing while she was speaking in kind of strange, unnatural places to pause and after she talked to me I thought to myself ‘Huh, maybe she’s used to people interrupting her or to speaking over her so she pauses when she speaks to make sure the person is actually going to keep listening to her?’ I also haven’t really talked to her before, though, so maybe she was nervous/felt socially awkward talking to me (to be fair, I felt awkward trying to start a conversation with her today since I previously have not because I’m already perpetually socially awkward and never initiate conversations with anyone if I can help it, LOL).
