okay i saw opeth live!!! so heres the- honest to god- primary reason why i really wanted to see these guys, mikaels and fredriks back-and-forth vocals during allting tar slut. out of body experience. please see them live if you can!!! the entire video i took is like 6 minutes long so i am not posting that lol. oh and they played black rose immortal!!!! exciting stuff! we were in the 2nd row! yippee!

Hello, Slav! I hope you're doing well. Would you happen to know who are the musicians that recorded the "Phantom of the Opera" cover? I'm also curious to know if T played the bass on this one. It was obvious that it would be amazing - that song through the Ghost lense? What a recipe for success. But, still, the instrumentals were just so great and I was blown away (I do admit that I wish T's voice was a little... clearer, maybe? But I'm in no way complaining). Thank you!

Guitars - Fredrik Åkesson again and this time with Lars Johansson (of Candlemass), keyboards - Luke Reynolds, drums - Matt Chamberlain.

The thing with Tobias is, he's never credited as a musician separately because he falls under the general "Performer: Ghost" section, so whatever he does in the studio, it's never specified. However, since there is no one listed for bass specifically, one may assume he played it, as that was the case with Impera too for example. Maybe he'll clarify it eventually.

It’s so funny when metal elitists hate on Ghost but praise Opeth, because 1) Opeth’s guitarist Fredrik Åkesson is the studio guitarist for Ghost’s Impera album and 2) Ghost’s lead guitarist Per Eriksson was Fredrik Åkesson’s guitar tech when he toured with Opeth and 3) Per Eriksson and Opeth’s Mikael Åkerfeldt have both been members of Bloodbath. Like, on the one hand I understand that the ghouls are all technically “nameless” but on the other hand these elitists don’t understand that some of their favorites are either friends with or they’re contributing musicians for Ghost.

See No Evil

Great choice of an opener. It made me immediately happy and hyped, a bit like Kaisarion did back then. This cover of See No Evil would make a wonderful intro song for a movie.

Jesus He Knows Me

It was the right choice again to make it the first single. It's the catchiest song from this EP. By now I've listened to it a lot of times, but it still makes me want to sing along and dance as much as the first time.

Hanging Around

Impressive how just from the first notes you get this special feeling, like, you KNOW it's going to be good. I hit the "like" button about 10 seconds in. And, either way, just that intro was already worth the "like".

Phantom Of The Opera

I'm a guitar player at heart, so I was delighted by what I was hearing. (Hats off to Mr. Fredrik Åkesson).

We Don't Need Another Hero

I like that Papa's voice sounds a bit different. It was a nice surprise! So happy that he is making use of all of his range!
