i had so many pretty screenshot images as my "wallpaper" on ps4 and i miss them. the way new consoles got rid of themes is lame. (I had a Rime theme with music and day/night cycle changes!) and why are you going to give us a photo mode in every game if you aren't going to let me use it as a background when i turn on my console? I change my wallpapers on my devices a lot. tech's flop era

Month 4, day 17, I've officially decided the cloak is going to be Judicious and I don't know why I tried deluding myself that it was going to be anything else considering the base color I chose to represent the cloak XD The pattern is just hastily scribbled in; I figure if I want to go back and refine this whole piece later to be more accurate to everything in it, I can, I just needed to get the basic idea of the cloak down here.

I have had this mod ever since I started playing Skyrim back in like 2014 and one of my favorite things about the Levelers Tower mod is the fact that there's a character in the library section of it named Warlos:

Seeing as Frey was mostly developed in a rp server, it's important to note that many of their posts are server-specific

The most important thing being that, in the rp, Frey befriends the Joker shortly after returning to Gotham, and ends up crashing on his couch since they got nowhere else to go. They also end up forming a crime polycule with him and the Riddler. Living their absolute best life.

Joker and Riddler are rp-specific versions too btw, they're essentially OCs with the same names/themes but their own backstories and personalities. Frey is their pet cat.

In TOA, I like the idea that because Apollo is usually associated with fertility deities, which can sometimes present itself as being his lovers in mythology / being generally associated with him, sometimes fertility deities have an unexplainable Thing for this guy / want to be besties / immediately feel amicable towards him for no reason.

they look at him and go “man that seems like a swell guy. I feel really happy now. Why”

like:

Hyacinthus being worshipped as a fertility deity.

That one time he mentioned the flock of nymphs that love him.

Maybe Persephone had a crush on him when they were kids and Demeter was like “AWW do you want to get married when you’re older??” And Apollo cried because he didn’t want to get married to her.

also the fact that in the Orphic hymn Demeter / Rhea prophesies that Persephone will marry Apollo. You can spin it to imply she would approve of this marriage?? Which given Apollo Love Life™️, implies, with even more stretching, than Demeter approves of Apollo??? (At least until the time they fought bc she wouldn’t let him date another one of his daughters??)

Apollo was (once) Zeus’ favourite son.

Hera is jealous bc he’s capable and “a good son”, which is therefore only possible if she thinks he’s capable and talented.

That One Time in That One Hymn where Aphrodite was basically like “if I was mortal and I could be Apollo’s wife I’d drop everything to be with him!! But not because I like him or anything haha” (I’m so sorry I completely forgot where it was from BUT I REMEMBER A SCREENSHOT OF A TRANSLATION I KNOW IT’S REAL I SWEAR). Also the idea of Aphrodite having a crush on Apollo at some point where he literally just Does Not Care or Doesn’t Even Notice is so so funny.

31 Days Idol Challenge - Oliver Riedel

Day 19 - Showing Back

Since Oliver still plays concerts "oberkörper frei", it is not that difficult to find photos of his back. Oliver has a lean and muscular body, and even though he is now in his 50s, he is in great shape.

While he painted his body dark for the entire 2023 Europe Stadium Tour, if anything, darker complexions can make muscles pop in bright light. My pick for this challenge is a photo from Budapest by Matthias Matthies. The contrast colours in the photo make it really stunning.

Bonus material: 1) Another photo from 2023 Europe Stadium Tour, this time from Brussels taken by Jens Koch. I love when Oliver and Richard find together on stage, and this photo from Mein Teil is such a great example of that. 2-3) Screenshots from the Making of Rosenrot. The band members didn't want to use make-up for the flagellation, instead they drank vodka and went out in the cold and whipped themselves. 4) I love the atmosphere in this photo by Frédéric Batier, from Völkerball, where Oliver takes a moment for himself in Budapest 2005. 5) Oliver getting his in-ears taped to his back, by Jens Koch 2019. 6) Screenshot from one of Jens Koch's videos 2023. 7) Silly little promo video for the Mein Land music video, where we see Oliver and the girls. It does show his back though. 8) Oliver during the shooting of the Mein Land music video, from the photo book by Frédéric Batier. 9) I guess these last two photos are what people expected. First out, Andreas Mühe's photo of Oliver, naked, in Winnipeg 2012... 10) ...and finally, Missy Funnybunny's photo of Oliver, taken in Paris 2012. This is probably the most well-known photo of Oliver's back, and deservedly so. It is really good.
