Here it is! The moment you've all been waiting for!
Gendrya Kinktober!
As in years past, the rules will be about the same.
Submissions will begin on Oct 1st and go through the 31st. If you begin a written piece, but if you can't finish it before the end of the month, then you can still continue it after October is over.
There are two prompts per day. If one doesn't suit you, then hopefully the other will! Try to use both of you want an extra challenge! And if neither spark any inspiration then feel free to borrow from another day!
Submissions can be written, drawn art, graphic art, AI art, gif sets, videos, and photo edits.
Gendrya MUST be the main pairing.
There is no word limit for written work! Make it as long or as short as you want!
ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOLDEN RULE: Your kink is not my kink, and that's ok. Never bully or shame someone for something that they post. We're all here to have fun and inappropriate behavior will not be allowed.
That being said, submissions that include underage sex will not be allowed, and any submissions including rape or other non-consenual acts must be HEAVILY flagged and tagged.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask myself, @lostinmirkwood , or @welt-verbessererin ! We hope that everyone has fun, and we can't wait to see what's in store for Gendrya Kinktober 2023!

Fandoms: A Song of Ice and Fire Pairing: Arya Stark / Gendry Waters Series: N/A Words: 15,025 Chapter(s): 2/2 Rating: Explicit
France, 1992. Arya Stark's career is far from over, and this is her opportunity to prove it. Nothing, not even a former skating partner turned coach for a male singles skater, is going to change that.
Arya hasn't seen Gendry Waters in four years. Not since Calgary, not since a devastating loss that shook her to her core—and not since she lost her shot at a gold medal.
That hurt, too.

show me if you want me, if i'm all that || ch1
She leaned in first. It was her first kiss, tentative and soft and perfect because it was Gendry. He left the next morning without a good-bye, and it had now been two years since she'd seen him.
On an annual summer vacation, Arya and Gendry wrestle with their growing feelings towards each other.
Read it on AO3
(This is loosely inspired by The Summer I Turned Pretty, minus the love triangle! I started a new job this year and haven’t had as much time to write, but this AU demanded to be written before the summer ends.)

hey, guys! i'm looking for a gendrya fanfiction (actually i can't remember if it was a single chapter or part of a drabbles' collection). it starts with sansa making arya do a "who would be your perfect boyfriend" test, and the result is her best friend (gendry, obviously). then at some point sansa goes to visit them, since the two are living together, and comments about the "telepathic connection" they have, and ends with her complaining to arya for not acting on gendry during the stark family christmas party (and there is some mistletoe involved). can anyone tell me which fanfic it is?

I'll Be Home For Christmas🎄~Gendrya Fic
Rated M / Chapter 1 of 2 / AO3 Link Here
Summary: It's that time of the year again but Arya doesn't know if she will be home for Christmas especially since it's been a year since the loss of her father. With Gendry's support and encouragement from others she finally makes the choice she has been dreading for some time...Ahh sry for the summary but basically this is a two-chapter story with Gendrya, Christmas, Dreams, and Winterfell ❄️
************************************************************************
It was another rainy afternoon in the town of Storm’s End. Arya Stark was looking out the open window at the backyard where the large and overgrown oak tree was. There was an outpour of rain showering the tree, garden, and veggie patch Gendry Baratheon, her boyfriend, insisted on maintaining. Arya smelled the clean air and felt relaxed even though she was still on the phone with her sister, Sansa. Her phone was still in her ear as she heard her sister talk about a promotion received from her job.
“That’s wonderful, Sansa. Congratulations,” Arya said genuinely before drinking the last sip of her tea. She placed the cup back on her desk, closed her laptop, and walked out of her study.
Sansa paused before she asked the inevitable. “So, you’re really not going to be here tomorrow, on Christmas Eve?”
Arya sighed and pressed for the call to be on speaker phone as she walked into the main bedroom. She fell back on the bed and looked up at the ceiling fan. “No, I’m not,” she finally said.
“Mom is going to expect you here.”
Arya scoffed. “She won’t care.”
“You think she won’t, but she will. It’s Christmas—A time for us to all be together, especially now. We haven’t seen you since the beginning of the year.”
Arya turned to her side and looked at her phone. She paused before she said, “I’ll be working, anyway.” She rolled her eyes and instantly regretted the lie.
Sansa sighed. “You’re always working.”
“I need to earn a living.”
“I understand, but you need a break to be with your family and friends. I’m surprised Gendry ever sees you—” She stopped immediately.
Arya sighed but didn’t say anything.
“I’m sorry,” her sister whispered. “I didn’t mean it.”
“You sure?” Arya asked.
“Yes,” Sansa said. There was a pause before she said, “We all lost father, Arya. We’re still grieving.” Sansa sighed before she said, “We should be together, especially since tomorrow will be one year since father passed. I just can’t—”
“Look, I...” Arya felt something in her throat as if she couldn’t say anything else.
“Arya? Are you still there?”
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before she said, “I’m here.”
“Arya, nothing is your fault. Nothing. Don’t hold on to that guilt I know you’re holding on to.”
Arya opened her eyes and felt a second she couldn’t breathe. “Stop,” she whispered.
It was as if Sansa didn’t hear her as she said, “You took the red-eye flight from Braavos, and you were exhausted when you arrived at your hotel room. It’s not your fault, Arya. It’s not.”
“Dad wanted to see m,e and I wasn’t there when he needed me.”
There was a pause before Sansa whispered, “I know.”
“Dad had a heart attack, and I fucking wasn’t there. I—” Arya stopped herself as she felt the start of tears stream down her cheeks. “Sod it,” Arya whispered, using the back of her hand to wipe the tears away. She could faintly hear her sister’s cries.
“It was devastating what happened to father, but I know he would want all of us together. Remember what he used to say--What his father would tell him?... When the snow falls and the white winds blow, the...lone wolf dies—” Sansa stopped as the tears came again.
Arya heard her sister’s cries and it panged her heart. She finished the well-known saying. “...But the pack survives.” Arya closed her eyes and covered her mouth with her hand. The tears she stubbornly fought came down again. Just then, she heard Gendry’s car park in their driveway. “Sansa, I have to go.”
“Please think about it more and let me know tomorrow morning, okay?”
“Fine,” Arya agreed and hung up the phone. She heard herself sniffle as she sat up in bed. The kitchen door opened and closed. She wiped any remaining tears from her cheeks before walking to the kitchen.
Gendry’s back was to Arya as he unpacked takeout containers from a plastic bag. As he turned around, he said, “Hey love, I brought takeout from Hot Pies. I hope that’s—Arya, what’s wrong?” He asked with a concerned expression. He walked a few feet to Arya and gently removed a tear from the corner of her eye with his thumb.
Arya tried to give him a half-smile. “I didn’t remove all the tears then, eh?” She asked lightly, almost jokingly, when she felt anything but.
Gendry gave a sad smile as he asked, “You talked to Robb or Jon?”
“Sansa.”
“Ah.” With his index finger, he moved a lock of her hair behind her ear. He leaned his forehead to touch hers. “You okay?”
Arya always felt touched by Gendry’s gentleness. She leaned into his touch. “I miss him,” she whispered. “So much.” She closed her eyes and pressed her cheek against his shoulder. He held her immediately in an embrace.
“I know, love,” he said with ease. He kissed the top of her head as he held her close.
Later, Arya snuggled on the couch. Her feet rested on Gendry’s lap as she ate from the takeout container. “Mmm...” She murmured as she finished the chicken pot pie.
Gendry was finishing his pie when he gently squeezed her foot and asked, “Good?”
Arya licked her lips. “Yes,” she said with a moan. She looked around their living room and felt cozy with the multi-colored Christmas lights hanging all around the room. A small tree was placed in one corner with even more colorful lights and ornaments.
Gendry trod lightly as he asked, “So, are we going to go up north tomorrow?”
Arya sighed as she placed the empty container on the coffee table in front of them. Gendry placed his container on top of hers. Arya leaned back and stretched. All she could do was shrug.
Gendry nodded. “We could stay in and have our first Christmas together,” he said. He looked around the room and half-smiled at seeing the blend of his and Arya’s things.
Arya followed his gaze, looking around the cozy den. “What?” she asked.
Gendry only shrugged one shoulder as he started to take her socks off her feet. Once he felt her warm skin, he started to massage one foot. He earned a moan from Arya, which made him grin. “I don’t know—I was just thinking we’ve come a long way from just shags here and there when we started seeing each other.”
Arya looked away at the Christmas tree. She watched the glistening lights illuminate that corner of the room. The lights reminded her of Gendry in a way. In the darkest of times with her father’s death, there was some glint of light when she saw him again at her father’s funeral. That light grew bigger when they saw each other on a date, New Year’s Eve. He illuminated her life in just a short amount of time. This fast relationship should have scared her, but Arya felt the opposite. She was content at first seeing him a few times a week, but eventually, she felt she couldn’t go a day without seeing him.
She smiled, remembering the moment she told him she loved him, and he said he loved her. She turned back toward Gendry and reached for his hand, stopping his massage on her feet. “I wouldn’t want it any other way,” she said truthfully.
Gendry squeezed her hand and said, “Oh, yeah?” he teased.
Arya knew he was teasing her, but she said anyway, “When I was abroad at work, going two or three days at a time not seeing you—I knew then how much you meant to me.” She brought his hand to her lips, kissing his soft skin.
“And then you moved in here,” Gendry said.
Arya grinned like the Cheshire Cat and raised a brow. “That I did.” She moved her feet off his lap and moved so she could rest her head on his lap. She looked up at him. “Writing from home is better than I thought,” she admitted.
Gendry asked, “Do you miss it? The traveling?” He asked as he gently massaged the top of her head.
Arya closed her eyes, enjoying the massage. She loved what his hand was doing. She then opened her eyes and stared into Gendry’s stare. “I thought I would, but seeing you every morning and night is worth it.”
“I’m worth it,” Gendry said with a wink.
“Yes, now shut up and kiss me.”
“As my lady commands,” he said as he helped to pull her up.
She turned to sit on his lap, gently grabbing the back of his head to meet her lips. Her warm breath hit his lips as she whispered, “Shut it.” She met his lips with hers, moaning as Gendry securely held on to her legs as he got up, walking them to their bedroom.

The worst thing about reading fanfics is when people don’t know how to tag relationships. I just wanted to read some Arya and Gendry goodness, decided to give a fic a chance and came across Gendry harboring feelings for Sansa and then cheating on Arya with Sansa. Why put me through this?! I have my filters on for a reason 😭

Gendrya Kinktober Days 1, 2: "At m'lady's command," secret relationship
He took a few steps until he was right in front of her, the warmth of his body radiating within her orbit. She tilted her head up slightly to meet his gaze.
“Are you ready for your next lesson?” he asked, cupping her jaw in his large palm.
Her eyes fluttered as he ran a thumb carefully across her trembling lower lip.
“Yes.”
“Do you remember what we agreed?”
She swallowed deeply and nodded.
“I am at m’lady’s command, to serve you,” he reminded her. He leaned forward, breath teasing over her flushed skin.

Look, I honestly don't know where this is going, but I needed to write and this is what I came up with. IDK if this will be something but enjoy it!
The cool brisk metal tickled along the concave between her breasts. The silver chain cascaded through the air as it maintained its clasped position around his neck and the only movement it offered was the rhythmic synchronized motion of his rocking hips. As Gendry thrusted, the silver chain followed and the ring at the end grazed across Arya’s heated skin.
The steady cadences of their mingled breaths reverberated around the room while Arya’s throaty mews shattered the silence. They had been going for hours, completely lost in the euphoric oblivion of each other.
As the sweat began to trickle down Gendry’s chest, Arya couldn’t resist the urge to lap at it with her wanting tongue. His salty taste exploded across her taste buds, garnering a guttural moan from her chapped lips.
Egged on by her pleasurable sounds, Gendry’s pace shifted. What was once a steady metronome became an allegro of heated beats. His fingers dug into her supple skin as his grip tightened along her vivacious waist. His other hand burrowed into the headboard above them, and his brows furrowed as his concentration to rip her over the edge multiplied tenfold.
Arya gasped at the sudden tempo change, from soft and melodic to rough and raucous. She couldn’t keep her nails from digging into the curve of his rounded ass, imprinting him as hers.
Her pleasure was teetering and as he pushed deeper and went hard, she knew it was only a matter of time before she plunged from the precipice and into a shattering oblivion.
As her insides coiled, she clenched, gripping him like a vice and extracting his own reckless abandon, milking him of all he was worth.
His worn body collapsed onto the downy bed beneath him, and he curled his burly arms around Arya’s small frame, pulling her close to his heaving chest. She burrowed her face into the warmth of his embrace and took a deep breath. He smelled of her; their scents mingled together in a wicked dance.
“How long?” she asked, her voice rough from the strain it endured yelling his name.
“An hour before someone starts to notice.” He replied as his fingers tickled the ends of hair that gave way to the middle of her back.
A rigid chill swept across Arya’s spine as she took in the revelation. “When will you be back?”
“Two weeks, if the catch is good. Will you manage?”
No. “Yes.”
“And you?”
Arya sighed and pushed herself from his embrace. She sat up and curled her legs beneath her before resting her head on her waiting knees. She studied him then, letting her eyes roam over the dips and falls of his body. He was a stunning creature with his large shoulders and strong arms and the midnight black of his paired with the ocean blue of his piercing eyes. It's no wonder she kept crawling back.
“No assignment. I’ll be here in the apartment.” Alone.
Gendry chuckled, “You’ll go mad with nothing to do and no one to kill.”
“Maybe I will be able to rid my home of your insufferable scent.” A smile danced across her lips. “Do a bit of deep cleaning.”
“I find that doubtful,” he growled as he snaked his arms around her waist before pulling her back into the safety of his arms.
Arya felt content in the confines of his embrace. Just his presence alone set an ease to the raging sea that stormed her brain. It was such a powerful relief and one she hadn’t had in a long time. But his visits were far and few in between and in just under an hour her thoughts would be scattered once more.
“Be careful out there.” She breathed against his bicep that lay nestled just beneath her head.
She could feel the cascade of kisses he planted down her spine and she couldn’t help the goose flesh that echoed across her skin. “I always am.”
“I know you are, but the sea is a treacherous place. It can be calm and steady one moment and dangerously unforgiving the next. Trust me, I know.”
Her heart ached for the longing of wanting to be at sea. The adventurous side of her craved it. But the accident left her scarred with fear that nearly crippled her every time she set foot on a boat.
Her retirement forced by the hands of fate.
“The boys and I have handled our fair share of anger ocean. We will be fine.” Gendry placed one more kiss upon her shoulder before pulling himself away from her warm bed.
Arya could hear him rummaging for his jeans as she faced away from him, not wanting to see him leave.
“I have to go over checklist today. Davvos left me in charge.” He climbed in behind her, forcing her to face him. “Don’t I always come back?”
She huffed, “Yes.”
“Then I’ll see you in two weeks.” He captured her lips once more before pulling himself from the bed and grabbing his rucksack by the door.
“Gendry?” She said before he had a chance to open the door. “I’ll see you then.”
A smile crept to his face, “I’ll see you then.”
And then he was gone.
And Arya was left alone in her apartment with a dreadful feeling that she pushed to the back of her mind because he always came back.
