Het is weekend, maar wat is nou weekend?

Hier zit ik dan, achter mijn laptop die ik heb gekregen van de media markt nadat zij mijn huidige kwijt hebben gemaakt. Het is zaterdag, er zijn over activiteiten en drukte en gezelligheid, en ik? Ik zit hier achter deze laptop in een leeg huis, zonder sfeer en zonder gezelligheid.

Ik ben in de afgelopen jaren veel verhuist, maar ik heb ook overal en nergens werkt en steeds nieuwe avonturen begonnen zowel voor mijn sociale leven als voor mijn carrière. En nu, nu ik eindelijk gesetteld ben, is er letterlijk niemand.

Ik snap niet, hoe iemand zoals ik die sociaal en zelfverzekerd overkomt naar de buiten wereld, letterlijk niemand om haar heen heeft om gezellig te doen. Het is een feit dat wanneer je ouder wordt, gaat werken, en niet meer op school zit of activiteiten doet omtrent jouw studie, dat je eigenlijk heel moeilijk contact kan leggen met mensen omdat iedereen zijn leven nu anders is.

Ik ben op een punt gekomen dat ik denk, oké wij gaan accepteren dat ik voor altijd vriendloos zou zijn, en ook relatieloos gaat blijven. Ik mis de gezelligheid, ik mis het stappen, ik mis het leuke dingen doen, maar ik denk dat ik mijzelf maar eens mee moet gaan nemen. Want ik zie mijzelf niet binnen no time een vrouw kennen, die net zoals mij 30 is, en single en ook nog eens van alles wilt onderhalen.... Ze zullen er vast zijn, alleen niet zoveel als toen ik nog 21 was.

I miss your hand holding mine under the table and big smiles, real ones, not the fake kind that feels like latex lies. I wonder who made you like this.
