Just found out that my star’s charity has MERCH??? Ok FINE I’ll buy a Give16 beanie…

I was also reminded of this article’s existence. I read it when it came out, but 2017 to 2022 feels so much longer than 5 years, so I completely forgot about it. This sentence below just makes me proud and happy… in other words, I’m kvelling.

Fr tho. The world doesn’t deserve this man. If he was as good a hockey player as he was a person, Gretzky’s records would be absolutely smashed.

It’s honestly really heartwarming to see athletes that care so much about their charities, and I feel beyond blessed to be able to watch Jewish athletes like him. This is the representation that everyone deserves.
