Take

When we see what we want as children and someone else has it this makes us mad. We had to learn temperance not to take it from them, wanting it so badly. We see people in love, have lovely homes, wear beautiful jewelry and we want “our” take. It can take time to develop skills and excellence to work in a career and to be good at it. Relationships take nurturing to build bonds of trust. We take with us all “we learn”.

When we take what’s not ours this is stealing. We need to be patience and diligent working towards the things we desire. The time it can take is daunting and discouraging. When people take from us and not value what we offer we get angry. It never feels good to take something without giving back.

Be patience,

Give of ourselves,

Don’t be a taker.

It’s a gift when someone can take the love we give with them. If we take what we learn from all experiences, we see opportunity to build hope for the future. Let’s take what is helpful, not what hurts.
